Dynamic title Display in WAD

Hi,
I would like to change the Title in the chart dynamically...for example..
Value is
<param name="TITLE" value="Forecast Report xxx xx xxxx"/>
During run time..using the javascript or abap code we need to pass current date to the tile..so title will display......."Forecast Report july 9,2007"
Any Ideas?

Create a text variable with cusotmer exit as processing type.

Hi All,
I have done a report interactive.The basic list is ALV and the secondary list is normal report.The problem in secondary list is it is diplaying the title "Dynamic list display" I am not getting from where this text is picking up and displaying .The code is as shown below.

The output is displaying as shown below.

Dynamic title in report!

in the report we will use sy-title to display report title.
i want to set dynamic title reference with user name.
so in report code initiazition.
i use: sy-title = sy-uname . but this just influce once time. in other event or in report list the title will display static title what we create report .
so i want to change title.
i open screen 1000.
and want to add set titlebar command in PBO.

After seeing you code posted here, I have come to know that you are trying change SE38 report with selection screen in SE51. It wont work out.
Set pf-status after Start-of-selection event.
SET PF-STATUS 'STATUS'.
set TITLEBAR 'TITLE' with sy-uname.
First set pf-status by double clicking on 'STATUS'. After that Double click on 'TITLE' and give title like below.
'This title is for &'. & is replaced with sy-uname.

When you run the program, the system displays the following basic list with a the page header defined in the program:
You can trigger the AT LINE-SELECTION event by double-clicking a line. The system sets the status TEST and deactivates the function code PICK. The status TEST contains function codes FC1 to FC5. These are assigned to pushbuttons in the application toolbar. The page header of the detail list depends on the status.
Here, double-clicking a line no longer triggers an event. However, there is now an application toolbar containing five user-defined pushbuttons. You can use these to trigger the AT USER-COMMAND event. The CASE statement contains a different reaction for each pushbutton.
For each interactive event, the system decreases the SY-LSIND system field by one, thus canceling out the automatic increase. All detail lists now have the same level as the basic list and thus overwrite it. While the detail list is being created, SY-LSIND still has the value 1.

I would advise you the following:
1. Put a valid and complete doctype on that page!
2. Get rid of the resize if NN4 javascript - it hasn't been needed for nearly a decade.
3. Fix your image code (note the missing space after "no"!
4. 1290px is way too wide unless you want lots of people scrolling right to see things.

Dynamic title for Chart created by an xml-file in SAP ChartDesigner

I created an xml-file with SAP ChartDesigner for using it in my abap program. I import this file as a MIME-Object.
Everything works fine, i declared my charts and all my values.
But now I need a dynamic title on the top.
And know that I can give a title in my xml. But it's not dynamic.
I looked into the xml file and the path for the title is:

and then Caption.

Dynamic Title Tags in Webcenter

This is a newbie question. But I am going to be creating a complete external commercial website using Webcenter/jDev. I see nothing in the documentation about search engine optimization, and more importantly, creating dynamic URL-based title tags.
Will this be a problem? Or can I assume Webcenter is set up to easily generate a dynamic title tag based on the URL or some other paramater.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Dynamic Title in Desktop

Hi,
I'm trying to change the title every time the worksheet is modified. To do this I make a calculation and I make a parameter based on this calculation. Then I drag the calculation to the page items and I insert it in the title. But I don't get to do what I want.
Is there any way to associate a worksheet title to every change made in it?

If your parameter associated with any ITEM then It will run ,
If u have parameter without ITEM then u have to associated it with condition then only it will run,
eg, if u have parameter "empno " and asso. it with item "empno" ,insert it to Title area ,
now when u run the sheet it will prompt for empno and the same will reflect in Title ,
likly use this parameter in calculation to "generate your own dynamic title "
u can use decode for it.

the ZTABLE contain the date from which the date value is to be printed as a heading like

Simply follow below steps:
1. Create a Input/Output field in screen layout.
2. Double click on it and 'Attributes' window will get opened.
3. Give a 'Name' to it (Ex: Text) and under 'Display' tab, tick 2D display and As label on left
4. Save and Activate.
5. In PBO, use below code,
MODULE status_2000 OUTPUT.
SET PF-STATUS 'DEMO'.        " PF status
DATA: l_f_date TYPE sy-datum.
SELECT SINGLE zdate FROM ztable INTO l_f_date.         " Select Date from ur ZTABLE

Is there any relatively easy way to make a DW CS3 Dynamic
Table display horizontally? So far the best I can figure out is to

Need to set "Title", "Display Name" and "Name" fields to custom string property "RMA Number" for each instance of custom work item

Hi,
We have a custom Work Item we use to track RMA's. I've created a string property called RMA Number which is also used as a key.
RMAs do not have titles or any other identifying properties other than the unique RMA number (think incident number).
I was wondering what the best approach would be to set these other fields ("Title", "Display Name" and "Name") to the RMA Number value (RMAXXX), as I'm currently investigating using a powershell script via a workflow.

Dynamic Text Display

I hav two dynamic text fields the give the apearance of
wrapping text around a photo. The text has been set tp load each
text field and appear to smoothly wrap and look like one continued
display. It work on the computer I am creating on...When loaded on
other computers either some of the content in the first field is
lost of the first field end sooner then is expected giving a choppy
look. I cannot use one field and set it up as html (That would be
to easy...clients never want easy).
Is there some way to assure that every computer displays the
text the same way???

If you have the texts in different internal tables you can use the statement EDITOR-CALL, calling the text dynamically.
EDITOR-CALL FOR internal table TITLE 'title'.

Dynamic Query Change in WAD

Hi All,
We have a requirement where we need to display different queries based on current date.
If the month is having 30 days, one query needs to be picked dynamically and if month is having 31 days, one more query needs to be picked up.
Similarly for months with 28 and 29 days.
Please let me know whether we can do any changes in WAD to pick up queries dynamically or any other procedure to achieve this.

hi,
You can do this but i am not sure directly in WAD you can do this in Bex by creating Customer Exit text varibale for the heading you want to display dynamically.
Based on the selectio criteria of the month pass the values in the Customer Exit so that it will change in the Bex Query.Create an WAD report based on the Query.
I think it will solve your problem.
