E-mail Confirmation

I've had my iPhone for approximately four weeks and I still have not received my confirmation e-mail.
I am using my company e-mail address because it is my work phone.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

How to verify the primary email address for your Apple ID
When you first create an Apple ID (using your email address) a verification email will be sent to that address. If you sign in to your Apple ID from the link in that email, the email address will be verified as the primary email address for your Apple ID. You can also resend the email verification if the email address is not verified:
1. Sign in to My Apple ID to manage your account information.
2. Click Resend under Primary Email Address.
3. Verify your changes by following the link in the email you will receive from Apple and signing back in to your account.

    Is there any way of getting rid of mail confirmation messages; for example, when I want to bounce a message, I shouldn't have to see a dialog box every time. After all, I can delete a message without having to see a confirmation dialog box. Is there some kind of hidden preference for this?
    I want to create a rule as follows:
    Message is from some sender AND the word "foo" is not found more than five times in the message body.
    Is this possible? If so, how?
    I get a digest of "foo" several times a day; however most of the messages in the "foo" group have nothing to do with "foo" -- they are about "bar" or are spam. I'd like the digests that aren't about "foo" to go directly into the trash, but the word "foo" is found at the beginning and end of the message -- at the top where the group name is, and at the bottom where the subscribe/unsubscribe information is.

  • No e-mail confirmation of re-order

    Hi folks
    Having ordered my first book of photos a couple of weeks ago, I placed a re-order of the exact same book yesterday and as yet have received no e-mail confirmation, whereas the confirmation for the initial order came almost instantaneously.
    Is there any way of checking if the order has gone through?
    I also want to place a re-order of a second book and I don't want to repeat the process only to find that neither orders have gone through and that I am sitting here waiting for them to arrive when the order hasn't been received

    Log into your store account and you can check on past orders and view status of current orders. If it's not there you can assume it didn't get registered.

    TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
    I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

    ok, my order has been set to the "Shipped" status for two days, When will i recieve my E-mail confirmation? i'm starting to get worried something is wrong.

    Yes (and possible no).  When you draft an e-mail there should be a small "check box" (white square looking)  at the top (above your "From" line) next to the phrase "return receipt" ... that is what you check to get the requested receipt.
    And the no ... when I ran a Help Desk, we disabled the return receipt.  Why? So that the users did not see when we opened and catorgized their request.  This is necessary to triage work, and keeps the user from hounding us with "but you read my email..."
    Send a message to yourself with the read receipt and see. Let me know if it works for you...

  • File to File transfer with a Mail Confirmation using BPM

    Hi everyone,
    I'm trying to configure a scenario where I will pick a file, send it to the appropriate receiver and send an acknowledgement mail to a mail account.
    I have created necessary business process, interfaces, mappings, data types in IR. Also, I have done configuration accordingly in ID.
    My question is, how should I design the BPM so that after send/receive file task is complete, it would send a simple message to an email accound which includes a simple text like "message sent"? My scenario will get more complicated later, but for now, this would be more than enough.
    I used file sender/receiver and a mail receiver communication channel in ID and configured them. My mail c.c. connects to a smtp server.
    For the BPM, I start the process with a "Receive" step with my file interface message. After, there's the "Send" step which sends the file using the same abstract message interface to send the file to my receiver service.
    No problem till here. This BPM works ok for these two steps.
    For mail option, I added a third step to my BPM which is a "Send" step using the abstract mail interface I had created with a data type which only has a field containing my confirmation message. So, the new BPM is in order:
    Receive File - Send File - Send Mail
    But, this won't work. In the workflow, I can see a messages saying
    Waiting for event 'RECEIVED' of object type 'ZXI_PROXY_G001_MI_IDOC_AB_0001'
    and an error at Result Processing - Execution step.
    Is this because there's no "Receive" step for my mail interface? How can I configure a simple BPM for this case?
    Listing of steps for the BPM would be more than sufficient. Thanks!

    What is the receiver in your case? Bcoz if is synchronous then you can see if its successfully delivered or not and send email based upon the status . If its Asynchronous wht ever the case it might be, u will send an e-mail stating message sent. Could you please clarify the above functionality.
    oops!! I'm sorry in your case File is the receiver, even though wht ever happened do u need to send email is it..

    Rcv File adapter posts data in FTP server.After posted , we need an email confirmation to a group , that the data is successfully posted. How can we achieve this.

    As the FTP Server can not send any response, you can not get any indication whether it is success or failure. So tell your customer  that if sending file to your customer fails then only you will send mail.  Develop alerts so that when ever message fails then alert will goto responsible person.

    I like the Bounce Mail function (although I wonder how effective it will be) but I hate having to confirm the command when I use it. Does anyone know if that can be disabled?

  • Mail confirmation after File-to-File scenario completes

    I have a scenario which picks a number of files from a sender FTP server and moves it to another receiver FTP server . There is no mapping involved .  It is just a FTP job via PI.
    I need to send a confirmation email to a mailid with the filenames that were successfully moved in the mail body once the scenario is complete.
    Is there a standard functionality in the receiver comm channel? Or is there some workaround to achieve this?

    One more option can be to use the mapping and then use mail receiver adapter...
    just include the mail receiver adapter in the interface determinations and ensure that the check box Maintain order at Runtime is not disabled...
    this will ensure that the mail will be delivered once the file gets transferred only...

  • Mail confirmation in iPhone

    I've configured one exchange account on my iphone, being the secretary in a private office, and used to BCC emails I send out of my boss's account to the one I configured on iphone for a reason.
    But whenever I request a read receipt upon composing emails, and read that message in the other account on my iPhone, the Mail software in iPhone does automatically confirm back reading the message without my interaction or knowledge.
    Now the boss has known that the message was being BCCed to that account cause he received in his inbox an email saying:
    This email ID "bla bla" has successfully read your message at this time "bla bla"
    I know he can see this in his sent items, but isn't the "Auto confirmation" from the Mail software a significant security hack?
    Hope Apple does something regarding this.

    Welcome to the Apple community.
    Put in a request for another verification e-mail to be sent to you.
    Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
    Also check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether.

  • Bouns 1GB of data with e-mail confirmation

    I recently upgraded and activated a new iPhone 6 (ordered 9/13; activated 10/8).  The order confirmation e-mail shows 1GB of bonus data, but it has not been added to my account.  I upgraded another line a few weeks earlier and the 1GB of data for that line has been applied.  I have called Verizon twice without resolution.  What do I have to do to get this resolved?

    It looks like the phone calls got the job done.  No one ever responded to me, but I just noticed that the bonus data has been applied.  A little late, but this was corrected.  Thank you.

    My girl friend and I both have macbook pros and when we send ical invites to each other so the event(s) are on our calendars. The accept e-mail is getting sent to our work e-mails instead of our personal e-mails. This happens for both of us. How can I change the confirmation to go to the home e-mail instead of the work address?

    Try listing the personal email first on the "me" contact card.

  • E-Mail Confirmations of Orders

    After ordering a Phone & Broadband Package the returning email said, and I quote, "
    Thanks for choosing BT.
    We'll soon be sending you all you need to know about your order for Broadband and Anytime Calls.
    If we don't confirm your order by email or letter within five days, call us on 0800 800 150. You'll need these details if you call:
    After 5 days I had not received any letter or e-mail. I called as requested. I was told the email is automated email so they cpuld not send it again, but I should receive it before my activation date. I queried why it specifically said "within 5 days" if they didn't respond within that time. I was told "Well, it means 5 WORKING days". Then why dodesn't it say THAT!! In any case I only get it just before my activation date that would be 6 working days. So why doesn't BT simply say you will receive your confirmation email any time UPTO your activation date, and save themselves the hassle of people phoning up?
    Secondly, when ordering after clicking on submit, the website tells me "there has been a technical error, but you can still order on line". My bank phoned me and told me that BT had TAKEN the money and not to re-order as they had had instances of peo-le paying 4 and 5 times over!!
    What a good example for an organisation that claims to be one of the oldest Telecommunications Companies in the world!  ARRRRRRGH!!

    It's now Sunday 19th June, one day before my activation date and still I can't track my package. If it's not delivered the advice is to phone Parcelforce and give them your package number - HOW! I can't track it to get the number!
    It's plain from the date that some of these problems go back to that BT have done nothing to improve their customer experience over the last 5, 6, or 7 years. How do they get away with it? Unfortunately like most other big companies they have built a massive brick wall around themselves that prevents you from actually being able to speak to an actual manager at BT! They have called them CALL CENTRES! Designed to deflect all those nasty customers who have the cheek to complain when they're not happy with BT's service. Well done BT! You certainly know how to treat your customers!
