Eam Work order assignment info

Hi Guys
This is a followup to a question I asked in the SCM forum but was asked to post EAM questions here by Sandeep who answered my previous questions graciously.
A> I am tracking a specific situation- when every operation assigned to a work order is completed I need to execute a pl/sql Concurrent program.
For this one I think the work order status would be changed to complete?
B>I am also tracking another situation- When a resource is assigned to a work order I need to execute a pl/sql conc prog.
What table info gets set when this happens?
Thanks
Jake

A> WIP_MOVE_TRANSACTIONS is probably what you are looking for. Write a trigger on that table.
B> WIP_OPERATION_RESOURCES is the table used. So you can write a trigger on that table.
Hope this helps,
Sandeep Gandhi

  • Oracle EBS drill link targets for EAM Work Order and Asset

Hi All - I am running Oracle EBS 12.1.3 and OBIEE 11g and I'm trying to link from OBIEE to EBS, but struggling to find the target functions / parameters to provide a direct URL link to EBS EAM Work Order and Asset. I have successfully linked to a Purchase Order View page, I would like to find the similar for EAM Asset and Work Order.
I can see some parameters in WorkOrderDetailsPGCO but can't seem to work out how to get to the page from a URL.
For reference MOS Note 555254.1 has some details, but not for EAM.
Has anyone provided users in any reporting system with a link to EAM Work Order or Asset page and if so how were the links generated?
    Thanks,
    Gareth

I am giving this a bump as I really need some help with this. Is I run the SQL with TOAD or SQLPlus it seems to consistently runs fine, The problem seems to only be from APEX. I think it has do to with the non-persistent state.

I want to update the attribute columns of EAM Work Order. The eam_work_orders_v.attribute10 has to be updated with a quote number that is generated from order management. I tried using the following api

    Hi,
If you have a maintenance BOM and Routing for the activity in use for your work order
The work order created will get the data defaulted from those BOM and Routing ie operations , BOM and Routing.
Please check whether you have the BOM and routing and also please compare the BOM and routing information with the information you are adding.
Also make sure that you are passing all the mandatory inputs.
    thanks

  • HOW TO: EAM - Work Order Page - Change Concurrent Program to run

    Hi,
my customer is using EAM and in the Work Order Search page the customer can select a work order and press the button "Print Work Orders". The standard work order (BI Publisher report) print is submitted.
Their request is to submit the Customized version of this concurrent program.
Can this be done and how can this be done?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Can you please check that what is the Template of Standard Work Order Report.
It comes from the setup for Document Types in Oracle. Most probably the template will be
XXL-FO. And if yes, then you need to have the customized report also, in XXL-FO Template and then in Document Types just give the name of the customized Template Name (Register the Template and Data Definition in Oracle first). Save it
and then run the page again to see if now it picks the template of your customized report or not.
    Thanks,
    Gaurav

  • EAM Work order completion issue

    Hi guys
We have a requirement where we need to complete a work order using an API call .
There are times where even when all operations are completed the users dont change the status to complete.
I've tried using the EAM_PROCESS_WO_PUB.PROCESS_WO to change the status to different statuses and it works for some statuses,
but when I try to change the status of the WO from released to complete it gives me the following error.
change from 3 to 4 not poss
oddly this call does change the system status of the work order to complete but not the status type
    any ideas , suggestions?

  • Goods Issue against Work Order assigned to WBS - Report

We are doing Goods Issue against Work Order with movement 261, the data picked up from work order is not including
the WBS element mentioned on the work order. Through this WBS element report is created through MB51, with total receipts, total issues, transfer postings etc made against WBS element, but without WBS element No. in material document,
we cannot pull this report through MB51, as we see material document No.created against work order but not the WBS
No. there, so this report cannot be pulled from MB51 through WBS element.
Does anyone know of any other report that I can pull From WBS No. as all these material documents are hitting WBS with
total receipts, total issues, transfer postings against the said WBS mentioned in the work order.
Doing Good issue against WBS is no problem, as the material document saves the WBS No.

Thanks Justin, your IW39 solution worked, as it has posting date selection defined there
which I cant find in CN52N. My solution was take details from MB51, then pull report IW39 within
posting dates and then export the WBS elements against work order to excel and then copy
the WBS elements in the MB51 report created.

  • EAM Work Orders Table

    Hi,
I am developing a report using EAM_WORK_ORDERS_V, WIP_REQUIREMENT_OPERATIONS_V, CST_DISTRIBUTION_V and EAM_JOB_COMPLETION_TXNS. As 1st 3 are views, it takes so much of time, i don't know the table names of the above views. Kindly help me in providing the table names for above views.
    Pavan

The view uses many tables but the main tables are
    wip_entities
    wip_discrete_jobs
The view focuses on EMA jobs by looking at only those records in wip_entities where we.entity_type IN (6, 7)

  • EAM Maintenance Work Order Detail Report

    Hello All,
I have a requirement to add new fields to the Maintenance Work Order Detail Report which is run from the web page. This report's RTF template works based on the fields which are defined in the seeded data definition. This seeded data defintion has an seeded XSD file with the fields in it. By the RTF template I got the standarad concurrent program name as Maintenance Work Order Detail Report.
I assumed the following process to happen when the Run button on the EAM work order page is clicked.
    1. Concurrent program Maintenance Work Order Detail Report is submitted
    Executable: PL/SQL Package EAM_WOREP_PUB.Work_Order_CP
Seeded Data Definition: Work Order Details -- This DD has a seeded XSD file EAMWOREPORT.xsd
    2. So the RTF template based on the pl/sql package and the XSD file generates the report and displays.
Please correct if my assumptions are wrong.
I want to add new fields to this report. So I have customized the pl/sql package, modified the code with new fields and created a custom data defintion with a new XSD file with the new fields added in it. Also created a new template linked to new data defintion. After doing all this I am not able to see the new fields on the report generated they come as NULL.
My question is Is it feasible to add new fields to this Maintenance Work Order Detail Report or we can use only the fields which the seeded one gives?
    Version: R12.1.2
I tried and tried but couldn't find a solution to it. If anyone has faced the same issue please let me know.
    Thank You!!

IW47 should give you the required information.

  • EAM OSP: How to Disable Requisition Import AutoRun on Work Order Release?

    Hi,
We want to create Purchase Requisition for OSP resource Items from eAM Work Orders by manually running Requisition Import request from purchasing. But as work order is released Import Requisition is auto run and requisition created. Is there any parameter or profile option to stop this request from auto run on release? Kindly guide.
    Regards,
    Syed Mustafa Arshad

    Hi Hrishi,
    Thank your for your response.
The second option you specified Operation is used in case of Oracle Discrete Manufacturing not for EAM. It is used when you want to start requisition as Item is moved from one operation to next so it cannot be used in case of EAM.
We wanted it because our requirement was to generate requisition in incomplete status and with requisition import automatically parameter is passed as "Yes" for Workflow and requisition is generated in Approved Status. There is a patch but it was not working fine with 12.1.3 and the issue is on SR and we needed a work around urgently. But now a new patch was provided and it seems our issue is resolved now and now Workflow parameter is passed as "No".
And about requisition creation time, I came to know after raising service request that it is standard functionality and requisition import cannot be delayed to run it later manually.
    Thank again for your response.
    Best Regards,
    Syed Mustafa Arshad

  • Attachment not shown in Work Order

Hi, Using Oracle Document ID ID 882952.1, we have configured oracle Functionality to attach Manual / documents in EAM Work Order, but followed all steps as mentioned Oracle Document but attachments are not showing in Work Order when we try view that specific attachment from Maintenance Super User.

    Thanks for answering.
Well, we have same archivelink customizing in another systemo for MIRO transaction and it works fine.
There's a development, of course. There's a job that executes a program and attaches the pdf from a server, etc.
So we can attach pdf files when entering an invoice. Guess there's a missing step, but don't know exactly which.
Maybe basis people blocked something, but we don't have a clue.
