Easy way to Fax a purchase order on-demand: ME23N

Our users are wanting an easier way to fax a purchase order.  The default medium for the purchase order is simply to 'Print output', but sometimes they want to fax on-demand a PO.  In transaction ME23N you can do a print preview of the order.  In menu 'Text', you can seen the option to 'Send fax', but it is greyed out.  Is there a simple way to fax on-demand a PO?

Hi,
You have to attach the message type as NEU and select the medium as Fax. Click on the communication and further data for messages. You can set the options regarding the timing for fax. After those settings save the PO. Next step would be processing the output. You can see the preview of PO from the PO transaction but you won't be able to give a printout or send a fax. Go to the transaction Me9F. Select your PO number and process the messages. The PO output will go to priniter or fax depends on your configuration. Kindly let me know whether this worked or not.

  • Is there an easier way to download previous purchases on itunes?

I have bought over 2000 songs from iTunes and was wondering if there was an easier way to download them onto my new computer other then going through each artist and hitting download.  I would greatly appreciate any answer because as you can tell 2000+ songs is a couple hundred artists and I was hoping to find a faster way of doing this.

Yes you can press download all for the specific artist inside of purchase history but like I said in my issue there is still hundreds of artists and you can only do up to 3 artists (which can sometimes be 30 songs) at a time before it starts to lag.  I am wondering if there is a universal download all area for all songs period in which I am yet to find and yes I went back and looked after your comment.  If this is what you meant could you elaborate more because I must have misunderstood.

  • No fax of purchase order change

    Hi,
We have an custom ABAP that calls BAPI_PO_CHANGE that changes the price on po's. These po's are specific to one vendor. It's been in production for several yrs, and now the issue is that they don't want the po's that are changed through this ABAP for this vendor faxed to the vendor. But if po's are changed the regular way me22n for other vendors, then they want them faxed. Is there any way to do this through the program?
I see subroutine pool ZSAPFM06P includes ZFM06PE02 for customizing, but I'm unsure if this is only for printing po's.
    Thanks a lot in advance,
    John

    John,
    Step 1
    ========
Configure ouput type using transaction MN08(change Output condition records). In this transaction you can maintain the timings to 4 for your relevant output and its key combinations.
    Step 2
    ========
In your VOFM transaction for output routine, establish a flag to determine if VOFM routine was either triggered by BAPI or by a user going into ME22 transaction.
If through a BAPI, change the timing setting to '3' within VOFM routine.
Additionally you can schedule transaction ME9F to print outputs for timing = '3'
    Note:
Transaction MN06 (display) or MN07 (create)

  • Purchase order and message details

    Hi gurus,
We have a requirement of generating a report of how the purchase orders are being sent to vendor.
Is there any table or tables that stores information of a purchase order number and how the message (output type) has been processed to vendor like through what medium it has been sent to vendor.
Example Purchase order 3456 was sent to vendor through fax.
Purchase order 4563 was sent to vendor through paper.
Purchase order 7865 was sent to vendor through EDI.
The transmission medium by which it has been sent to vendor need to be captured by purchasing document.
So gurus, if anyone can advise me of table or relating tables that i can write a query or request abapers to write a custom report, that would be great.
    Thanks in advance,
    Kind regards,
    Gopio.

    Hi,

  • How to close an open Purchase Order?

    Hi Gurus,
What is way to close the Purchase Order?
Our normal practice is to tick on the delivery completed indicator.
I am looking for a solution to solve the problem of having to amend the outstanding PO quantity and price at the end of the year to match the final invoice value which is lower than the PO value. This is because these POs are usually sent out with an estimate value and the final value can only be confirmed upon final invoice receipt. Reason we have to amend the PO is because if we just tick on delivery completed, when OPC runs the report to track the invest status, the remainder will appear as open in that report. However, this PO will appear as closed in MM report, as it should be.
    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Have you thought about making the report read the delivery completed indicators so that it knows which ones are closed.
The DCI is the approaved method of closing a PO and so I would make sure that the report is correct rather than changing the process.

  • Purchase Order with Invoice Plan

    Hi,
I need to understand working with Invoicing plans for a Purchase Order. Especially the service PO for the rents and other related services.
How the PO is linked to the Invoice Plan and how the process happens in SAP?
    Thanks in advance!

    Creating an Invoicing Plan
The following procedure describes how to create an invoicing plan with the pre-Enjoy ordering transactions (ME21, ME22, ME23).
The procedure described is also applicable u2013 with certain restrictions u2013 to the Enjoy purchase order (ME21N, ME22N, ME23N).
If you are using the Enjoy purchase order, you will find:
    ·         The Invoicing Plan button and the indicators for GR-based invoice verification (GR-Based IV), service-based invoice verification (Srv.-Based IV), evaluated receipt settlement (ERS), and invoice receipt (Inv. Receipt) among the item details on the Invoice tab page.
    ·         The account assignment among the item details on the Account Assignment tab page
    ·         The Goods Receipt and GR Non-Valuatedindicators among the item details on the Delivery tab page
    Prerequisites
    Vendor Master Record
Before you can use the invoicing plan with automatic settlement, the Evaluated Receipt Settlement Delivery indicator must be set on the Purchasing Data screen in the vendor master record.
(If you wish to enter invoicing dates manually, this is not necessary.)
    Purchase Order
    ●     We recommend using a framework order (that is a purchase order with a validity period and a reason for rejection). The invoicing plan can adopt the validity period specified in the PO header.
    ●     PO items for which you wish to use an invoicing plan must have account assignment irrespective of whether a material with a master record, a material described by a short text, or an external service is involved.
    ●     The GR/IR control facility must be set up in such a way that no goods receipt (or, in the case of services, no service entry) is expected - only an incoming invoice. If you wish to have automatic settlement, you must also set the Evaluated Receipt Settlement indicator.
If you nevertheless wish to allow service entry sheets for the item (e.g. for information purposes only), you must set the GR Non-Val. indicator.
    Customizing
Under Purchase Order à Invoicing Plan in Customizing for Purchasing, you can maintain data such as the desired invoicing plan types, date categories, and date descriptions.
    Procedure
           1.      Create a purchase order with account assignment (framework order).
Click  to access the item overview (or the overview of service lines if you chose item category D for services).
           2.      Enter the desired material or service, the quantity, and the price.
           3.      Select the desired item and click  Account Assignments to access the account assignment screen. Enter the account assignment for this item.
           4.      Click  to access the item detail screen. Check that the GR/IR control indicators are set correctly on the item detail screen.
    ○     The GR and GR-Based Invoice Verification or Service-Based Invoice Verification indicators must not be set.
    ○     IR must be set.
    ○     You must set ERS if you wish to have Evaluated Receipt Settlement.
    ○     If you wish to have service entry sheets purely for information, for example, allow non-valuated goods receipt (i.e. select the GR Non-Val and GR indicators).
           5.      Choose Item ® Invoicing Plan. A window appears, in which the invoicing plan types predefined in Customizing are suggested. Choose the desired invoicing plan type and click  Continue.
You can use the following invoicing plan types:
    ○     Periodic Invoicing Plan
    ■      You use the periodic invoicing plan if the total value of the PO item is to be invoiced in each period.
    ■      The system creates the invoicing dates automatically on the basis of the settings in Customizing.
    ■      The invoicing date and the amount to be invoiced are shown for each settlement period (e.g. month). In the case of the periodic invoicing plan, the amount represents the total value of the PO item.
    ■      You can change the suggested dates and block individual dates for automatic invoicing if necessary.
    ■      You can enter the start and end dates for the invoicing plan.
    ■      With the Dates from and Dates to fields, you can determine that an invoicing plan does not contain invoicing dates extending over the entire validity period of the purchase order but only for a certain period within that validity period. (E.g. within a validity period from 1.1. to 12.31, only dates within the period 1.1. to 06.30.)
    ■      With the Horizon field, you control how far into the future dates can be created. If you enter a date rule that adds six months to the current date here, invoicing dates will be created for just half a year in advance in each case.
The system automatically creates new dates if you change the invoicing plan or when you invoke the transaction for Updating Periodic Invoicing Plans. See Generating Further Invoicing Plan Dates
    ■      The In Advance indicator allows you to specify whether the invoice is to be created with regard to a prior or subsequent period. (E.g. at the beginning of February, either in advance for the month of February or in arrears for the month of January).
    ■      In addition, fields with information on the existing invoicing plan are displayed (e.g. the calendar upon which the date determination process is based).
    ○     Partial Invoicing Plan
    ■      You use the partial invoicing plan if the total value of the PO item is to be invoiced in several partial amounts.
    ■      You get an empty date overview in which you can manually enter the desired dates.
    ■      If you work with a reference invoicing plan, the system automatically generates dates in accordance with the reference plan.
    You have the following options:
    ●      You create a reference invoicing plan in Customizing for the invoicing plan type.
    ●      You enter an existing invoicing plan as reference plan directly in the invoicing plan for the PO item.
    ■      You can flag a date in field B (Billing/Invoicing Rule) as follows:
    ●      As a down payment (percentage or value)
    ●      As an invoicing date (percentage or value)
    ●      As a final invoice
           6.      Click  to return to the item overview.
           7.      Click  to save the purchase order item with the invoicing plan.
You can then start the automatic invoice creation process during invoice verification.
For more information, refer to the section Settlement of Amounts Due Under Invoicing Plans.
Once assigned to an item, the invoicing plan type (e.g. partial invoicing plan) cannot be changed. If you wish to assign a different invoicing plan type, you must delete the item and create a new one.
    Generating Further Invoicing Plan Dates
If you have assigned a periodic invoicing plan to a PO item but have not initially defined invoicing dates covering the entire validity period of the purchase order, you can generate further dates in due course.
You have created a PO item with a periodic invoicing plan for a certain planned procurement. The purchase order is valid from 1.1. to 12.31. When creating the invoicing plan, you specified one invoicing date per month for the first half of the year. You have not yet planned any dates for the second half of the year because you do not wish information from the invoicing plan to be passed on to purchase order commitments at this stage, for example.
By mid-June, it is clear that the PO is to proceed as envisaged, and you therefore wish to schedule invoicing dates for the remainder of its validity period.
    Procedure
To schedule further invoicing dates, proceed as follows:
Choose Purchase order ® Follow-on functions ® Period. invoicing plan
Specify the purchase orders for which invoicing dates are to be generated in the invoicing plan and perform the function.
A log can be created if desired.
    Result
The system adds further dates on the basis of information such as the validity period or horizon from Customizing, the purchase order, and the invoicing plan.

  • Updating Purchase Order data in VBKD table

    Hello,
We are trying to update Purchase order data in VBKD table for Sales Order at Item level. When sales Order is created, VBKD has a default record with VBELN = 'sales order number' and Item = '00000'. We want to update BSTKD_E field with Purchase order number for VBELN= 'sales order number' and Item = '00010'.
We wrote our logic in USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE and USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELDS_TO_VBKD in MV50AFZZ to append new entries in XVBKD with VBELN= 'sales order number' and Item = '00010'. But in this case Sales order is not created with UPDATE TERMINATED message. We are not sure if we can append a new record in XVBKD.
            wa_xvbkd = xvbkd.
            wa_xvbkd-posnr = wa_xvbap-posnr.  "00010
            wa_xvbkd-bstkd_e = vbkd-bstkd.   "PO no
            wa_xvbkd-posex_e = wa_xvbap-posnr. "Purch. order item no
            wa_xvbkd-updkz = C_I.
            APPEND wa_xvbkd TO xvbkd.
            CLEAR wa_xvbkd.
Please advice the suitable way to have a Purchase Order item level data in Sales Order.
    Thanks
    Rohit

  • Miro - purchase order

    Hi,
    I ve the following issue:
I started using MIRO 5 months ago. When I select lines through delivery note parameters I also get back notes from the last year (which have the same number) even if I set a different period (burt unfortunately the reference code is the same)
Is there a way to archive old purchase order or to hide them from the selection?

    Hi,
I tried but when I select the delivery note I also get the old position (which are behind the data I select).
The problem seems to be the reference number that is the same for both document

  • Confirmation of purchase order in ICH (supplier view)

I am new to SCM / ICH and am trying to confirm a purchase order in the ICH - this is from within Purchase Order Collaboration - Supplier View. When I attempt to confirm the PO item an extra schedule line is shown with status 'CONF', however when I save the PO I get the message 'Enter a valid Ship To Partner'. I am assuming that this is because the customer field in the PO header is blank. The data was transferred in SCM from ECC via XI using a standard scenario (Purchase_Order_Processing) and mapping.
Does anyone know whether this is the correct way to confirm a purchase order in ICH?
Also, how can I ensure that the 'customer' field contains a value?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello,
I am also new in SCM ICH, but may be there is no transportation line defined for this material.
Call transaction /SAPAPO/SCC_TL1 in your ICH-System or select menu Inventory Collaboration Hub - Master Data - Transportation Lane.
    Create a product-specific transportation line.
I am not sure, if it's neccessary to transfer the PO once more before confirming.
