Ebook removed from sale, with no idea why

Hey Everyone,
I'm having an issue with one of my ebooks with iTunes Connect. I have 3 books up on iTunes Connect. 2 up for sale, and the first one with a "removed from sale" status. I contacted iTunes Connect Support, but to no avail, they did not respond to either one of my attempts. I checked EVERYTHING, including the thumbnail image (827x1280 is the resolution). I read the entire iTunes Connect Publishers Guide and followed it exactly. I have no idea what to change (major flaw in Apple's developer system, if you ask me). I tried resubmitting my book and that did not work either.
So I am stuck with this problem. It has been at least six weeks. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

I have one. Just tried it today. Open ITunes Producer 2.3. Go to Help>Feedback An email to [email protected] will be generated. Try that as your avenue to find a resolution. Like you, I am on my third or forth attempt to resubmit my package to clear the dreaded RED DOT. Not having much luck. Apple won't talk to me either.

Removed from Sale

We've delivered two books to the iBooks Store with iTunes Producer. The first one went through just fine. The second one, however, has the status of "Removed from Sale." It's been that way since September and I can't get it to change. I've triple and quadruple checked all the settings and they all seem correct. I submitted the book again but that hasn't made any difference. Any ideas on how to fix this? Where to go for help?

Hey Rick. I found out what happened with mine and had it resolved. They're really specific with the thumbnail image.
"Cover art should be at least 600 pixels along the larger axiss and must be a TIFF,JPEG, or PNG file in RGB Color mode.For an average trade paperback, this could be 400 x 600 minimum size, as the books are generally taller than ther are wide. For best results, deliver the largest pixel dimensions possible (for example, 1200 x 1200 pixels.)"
The was what's written in the iTunes Producer User Guide pdf file. My previous thumbnail was 250x250 but after changing it to 600x600 my ibook recieved the green light

App removed from sale just after it is approved

Our quiz application (ID: 455012461) which is downloaded more than 400k was removed from sale about 3 weeks ago without any information.
When we sent an email about the issue someone from Apple called us over phone and told us that our quiz contained a question that was offensive against religious content. When we asked for a screenshot of the question they didnt even response.
After checking more than 20k questions in the quiz one by one and removing each question which were about religion even if they didnt include any offensive content we submitted an update.
After waiting a week for our update to be approved it was finally approved; at least for a few minutes. The application got removed from sale again just after it was approved.
We have sent Apple an email about it and I am really curious if someone had a similar problem in the past?

Stay in communication w/Apple. Proceed with their instructions.

Folio appear in app library with in-app purchase status is "Developer removed from sales"

After I launch the developer build customer app, I can see this issue available to purchase and download (in Sandbox environment).
Does Custom Content Viewer app check the distribution server, when the folio is public & retail, check iTunes store, if it is ready to sale, show folio with selected price tier and make availbe to purchase. If the record status is not "ready to sales", the folio should not appear in folio library, correct ?
Problem In-App record highlight with red rectangle in screen capture.
Please comment below action taken to resolve this situation.
(1) Delete the folio using Folio Producer (unpublish);
(2) Delete the record in iTunes In-App purchase;
(3) Publish the folio with new productID;
(4) add record in iTunes In-App with the new productID;

Hey Bob. Yeah, I tried that. It just comes back. I even deleted the app entirely and reinstalled it. Same thing.
I logged in through the Adobe Content Viewer and it even shows up there. I don’t understand where it’s coming from.
I rebuilt the viewer and need to send the updated binary to Apple for approval but I’m afraid this phantom folio is going to cause them to reject it.

HT201365 So where is Find My Iphone on my device? Or is it like the Podcast app that I had to download when podcasts got removed from the music app? Why aren't these necessary (and free) apps included with the upgrade?

Delivery Split from Sales Order - top reasons why this occurs

Hello -
I am trying to identify as many reasons as possible why a sales order with multiple line items will split into more than 1 delivery. Please add any I do not have listed below:
1) Shipping points are not the same on the lines
2) Material availability; material does not confirm for all lines
3) Different loading groups (in material master) for different lines
4) Line level delivery block is placed on a line, preventing it from delivering
5) Different schedule line dates on different lines
Any other reasons would be greatly appreciated!

"Removed from Sale" curse

Hi there
I managed to upload 36 different books to itunesconnect but am really stuck with the 37th one. Strangely I used the same process that I used before for my 36 books and am completely at a loss. I wish I knew what I was doing wrong so that I can fix it.
I have tried over 16 different uploads, even tried re-uploading to the same itsmp file, but nothing changes.
I sincerely wish we could get a little more guidance as to why it was being rejected, so that we can take steps to fix it.
If you have any insight, please let me know. Needless to say, my books have always passed epub validation checks.
I am considering buying pages software just so that I can use that to create epub files. I am not sure if that will help.

Pages 5.0.1 documents are banned from transmission with gmail. Why?

First time this has happened to me with an Apple document. Pages 5.0.1 documents cannot be attached to an email using gmail. Gmail claims it is a banned document for virus worries. Can Apple please register their new Pages with those in charge so documents can be transmitted?

I used Pages 5.0.1 to export the document to "Pages '09" (format, not the software, which I no longer have) and I was then able to send it in Mail 7.1 as an attachment. Gmail did not object. Not pretty, but less of a mess than the other solutions I've seen or imagined so far.

User Presets removed from right-click menu? Why???

I updated to LR CC 2015 yesterday and it appears that User Presets are no longer available in the right-click menu under Develop Settings. Am I missing something? Why in the world would they do this? I am used to being able to grab a series of exposures for an HDR and apply a pre-export preset before sending them to Photomatix Pro. I don't want to do this on import, because I shoot a mix of single exposures and bracketed sets, and I use different pre-Photomatix settings depending on the type of image and the style I'm going for in the final result. Without the right-click option (which was already causing issues in 5.7), I now have to move my cursor over to my presets on the left side of the screen, apply the desired preset to the selected image, then move all the way across the screen to Sync the rest of the highlighted exposures, then go back to the right-click menu to export them to Photomatix. What a complete pain. The new HDR merge is nice for doing very natural HDRs of static subjects like architectural interiors, but it falls far short of the versatility and look of Photomatix Pro, and the deghosting is woefully inadequate compared to the robust options available in PP. And, frankly, the whole program runs a whole lot slower than 5.7 did. I'm feeling like my subscription was a huge waste of money.

Images Removed from Vault Folder

So if I try to import any of those images in "Images Removed from Vault" with the box checked don't import duplicates, and I check each and every image and none show up in Import window then these must be duplicates and then safe to trash? Correct?

Yes it is a normal but unreported feature. When you run the vault command the vault created is a snapshot of the current state of the library. If there is a previous vault for this library then images that are in the vault but no longer in the library are moved to the folder you referred to.
If you are certain you do not want any of those images anymore you an delete them.

Do you use Time Machine? It could be in a backup if you use that. Otherwise it is your responsibility to backup purchases, sorry if this is news to you.
