Eclipse Error : javax.resource.cci.connection not found

Hi,
  I am new to Eclipse development. I downloaded a Sap connector PAR project from sdn and imported it in Eclipse then i showed lots of error with portal.HTMLB, portal.connector and javax.resource.cci.connection.
  I want to know where can i find the JAR file for this import? or how to resolve this problem?
Thank you
arun

Thanks Carlton and Jain,
  I searched for the JAR files in the EP60 Installation directory usr\EP60,
.../additional-lib/connector.jar
.../additional-lib/com/sapportals/connectorframework/framework/GenericConnector.jar
.../additional-lib/com/sapportals/connectorframework/framework/ConnectorHelper.jar
.../additional-lib/jta.jar
.../portalapps/com.sap.portal.ivs.connectorservice/lib/com.sap.portal.ivs.connectorserviceapi.jar
I could find the names in the path specified by you but they are all ZIP files. When i Unzip them i could only find .class files inside them not the JAR files.
I resolved all the problems except Javax.cci import error.
If you have any idea where to find them it would help me  a lot?
Thank you
arun

  • Error in javax.resource.cci.Connection during Compilation

    Hi,
    I am using NW 04 to write a par for my EP.
    But I encountered the following error at the line
    package com.sap.nwrig.demo;
    The error is as shown :
    This compilation unit indirectly references the missing type javax.resource.cci.connection (typically some required class file is referencing a type outside the classpath)
    Do hope anyone could help.
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Mike Lee

    Hi Mike,
    I guess you need to add the JCA library that contains the javax.resource.cci.Connection class to the classpath of your project. Here's how to do it (assuming you're using the NetWeaver Developer Studio):
    1. Right click on your project and choose Properties.
    2. Choose Java Build Path from the lefthand side tree, and then choose the Libraries tab on the right.
    3. Click on the Add External JARs button and browse to the following directory: <NW_Dev_Studio_inst_dir>\eclipse\plugins\com.tssap.ext.libs.j2ee_1.3\lib
    4. Select connector.jar and choose Open.
    This adds the library and now the referenced type should be resolved.

    Ivo

  • Javax.ejb,CreateException import not found

    I've upgraded from WL 8.1 to 10.3 and have an error "javax.ejb,CreateException import not found". javax.ejb used to be in weblogic.jar in 8.1 however, this path is empty in the version from 10.3. Where did it go? Do I need a new lib added to my build path?

    javax.ejb.* is in j2ee.jar
    if you use weblogic6.0, you need download ejb20.jar from http://www.weblogic.com
    if you use weblogic6.1 ,you need't this file.

    Hi,

    Porperty maintained in the connection:

    The exchange profile in XI (PI 7.0) system is as follows:
    com.sap.aii.connect.integrationserver.r3.httpport = 8000
    HTTP port is set as 8000 in SMICM services.
    The same type of connection is working fine in the lower PI and R3 environment but failing on productive  system.

    Hi,
    Well... you are trying to configure a HTTP RFC destination in SM59, aren't you?
    Dont worry about that. It is just a warning. Click on return or space bar after typing path prefix.
    Then save and test the connection.

  • Connection Error - Server BUSOBJ-JF00:6400 not found or server may be down

    Good afternoon.
    We have a Business Objects 3.1 installation on Windows 2003 that was running fine up until recently.  While trying to log on to any BOBJ function the error Server BUSOBJ-JF00:6400 not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) null is seen.
    I am unable to logon to the CMC or any Admin function with the Administrator user either.
    The SIA is up and running yet no service is listening on port 6400 when I do a netstat.
    In services it says that the BOEMySQL is running.
    It is a 3.1 upgrade using MySQL DB.  Any hints as to what to look for?
    I do have an OSS open for this right now, but no response yet.

    Hello,
    try the following:
    1. Connect remote to the Server using RDC and try to log into InfoView there
    2. Can you connect with any Client?! Like Designer or something
    3. Ttry to LogIn to InfoView using IP_ADRESS:6400
    4. Can you ping the Server ?
    5. When you say you did an upgrade did you used the "Update Objects" function in the CCM after migrating the Repository ?

    WMP for Mac has been discontinued and is not written for Intel Macs.
    Instead you should use the free Flip4Mac QuickTime WM plugin available free from Flip4Mac.com
    If you choose to stick with WMP, you'll get better response if you use a forum dedicated to Microsoft's Mac products such as <http://groups-beta.google.com/group/microsoft.public.mac.office> rather than an Apple forum.

  • Javax.resource.cci interface

              Hi.
              I´m getting a bit frustrated by now. My contact at BEA wont answer my questiona...
              I am (still) trying to get my adapter to work on WL 6.1 SP1-2.
              The adapter I´m using (trying anyway) implements the javax.resource.cci interface.
              BUT, when I´m trying to reference it (the adapter) from an EJB in the ejb-jar.xml
              descriptor, I get an error message from ejbc.
              When I try to edit the descriptor from within the Admin Console, the interface
              is not available in the dropdown menu.
              So, the question I have to ask: Does WL 6.1 support the cci-interface?
              This is it, if I can´t work it out by Friday I will have to tell our customer
              that WebLogic is not the way to go. I´d hate to do that...
              regards,
              Oskar

              Hi Timothy.
              Thanks for answering.
              When referencing an adapter from an EJB, you are supposed to make that reference
              in ejb-jar.xml (attached). But the resource type <res-type> that is supposed to
              be used is javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory.
              However if you try to set that resource type in the Admin Console, that option
              is not available. It is not present in the drop-down box.
              The same thing goes for ejbc. When I try to compile with ejbc I get the following
              error:
              ejbc:
              [java] ERROR: Error processing 'ejb-jar.xml': .ejb-jar.enterprise-beans.session.resource-ref.res-type.
              must be one of the values: javax.sql.DataSource,javax.jms.QueueConnectionFactory,javax.jms.TopicConnectionFactory,java.net.URL,javax.mail.Session
              [java] ERROR: ejbc found errors
              Which seems like the same thing.
              I would much appreciate any help, my time is running out.
              Thanks

  • Struts javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: name not found

    Hi.
    I'm developing a my first struts web application an I'm getting: javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: control_seguros not found
    This is my META -INF/context.xml
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <Context path="/control_seguros">
    <Resource auth="Container" driverClassName="org.postgresql.Driver" name="jdbc/control_seguros" password="seguros" type="javax.sql.DataSource" url="jdbc:postgresql://localhost/control_seguros" username="seguros"/>
    </Context>
    web.xml
    <resource-ref>
    <description>Conexión Base de Datos</description>
    <res-ref-name>jdbc/control_seguros</res-ref-name>
    <res-type>javax.sql.DataSource</res-type>
    <res-auth>Container</res-auth>
    </resource-ref>
    action code
    Context initCtx = new InitialContext();
    Context envCtx = (Context) initCtx.lookup("java:comp/env");
    // Look up our data source
    DataSource ds = (DataSource) envCtx.lookup("jdbc/control_seguros");
    // Allocate and use a connection from the pool
    Connection conn = ds.getConnection();
    conn.close();
    How can i solve this? I'm using Glassfish v3 prelude. One more thing: i'm not sure if it's relevant, but i create meta-inf folder and content.xml manually. I'd like to know how the application determinates that the database connection settings are in this xml.

    1. To use local interfaces in Glassfish your client & bean must be in same EAR or EJB module.
    2. @Sateless(name=) it's only the name of bean and in fact the bean interface is stored under different name then processPayment, it can be something like
    packege.className.
    3. I assume that you can't use EJB annotation is servlet.
    4. If indeed you need to use lookup, you need perform following steps (only in Glassfish context).
    a) if you are in same EAR as servlet use in web.xml resource ref like in following eg.
        <ejb-local-ref>
            <ejb-ref-name>Custom name, this name you will use in WAR</ejb-ref-name> <!---->
            <ejb-ref-type>Session</ejb-ref-type>
            <local-home/> <!-- Beans are homeles ->
            <local>eu.softper.aleksandra.ewidencje.book.BookLocal</local> <!-- Your's bean local interface -->
            <ejb-link>Your bean name - here</ejb-link>
        </ejb-local-ref>b)if outside EAR you need to use server specific deployment, if server allows to pass local ref outside application. Glassfish does not.

    Devashish,
    <i>I have added all the required references</i>
    Exactly what references did you add?
    By references I mean either of the following:
    1. Class-path reference (Required Library) if you are using non-DC project
    2. Public part reference (Used Public Part) if you are in DC project.
    Also it might be required to add run-time references to interface / library (see properties of WD project).

    I was playing around with it some more and was trying to follow this page:
    http://www.vaannila.com/struts-2/struts-2-example/struts-2-tiles-example-1.html
    I made sure I had the same jar versions. I still get the same exception in the Browser, but I get a few more log messages in the tomcat log;
    Obviously I have something configured wrong. I'll see what searching brings up, and of course any help would be appreciated.

  • Problem with Home Sharing.  Getting the error "The Requested URL was not Found on this Server"

    I recently purchased an iPhone 5.  As I do with all of my AppleTVs, iPads, iPods and an iPhone 4 in my home, I connected the 5 to my home network and accessed the shared video library using home sharing.  My iTunes library is roughly 85% iTunes purchases, a handful of videos taken with iOS devices, and some video ripped with Handbrake.  All of these videos work fine on all devices in my home except my new iPhone 5.  When I access the shared video library on my iPhone 5, all of the textual data for all of the videos appears, however, I can only get the iPhone to play 1 video of the dozens in my iTunes library. When I try to play any other, I get the error, "The Requested URL was not Found on this Server."
    Interestingly, only one video in my entire shared library displays the artwork associated with it in my iTunes library on my iPhone 5, and that's the one I can stream without a problem. Even more interestingly, that video I am able to stream was ripped using Handbrake (there are a number in my library ripped using Handbrake, but just this one will stream to my iPhone 5 for some reason).
    I'm using the latest version of iTunes (10.7) on my home (iMac) computer (running OSX 10.8.2- Mountain Lion)and of course iOS 6 on the iPhone 5. I've tried resetting my iPhone several times as well as restarting my iMac which holds my iTunes library.
    Does anyone have any ideas as to what's going on?

    Can you see if you can view index page from a browser on iPhone.
    Have you seen live streams working from a different computer...
    if not then check if a proper crossdomain.xml file in its place(webroot folder).

  • ERROR[WSDL Parser] Attribute 'name' not found at: wsdl:documentation

    Hello,
    I'm currently having a problem generating the Java source code from a WSDL, because the WSDL2Service ant class bundled with the WLS install (in the /server/lib/webservices.jar library) does not comply with the WSDL XSD.
    Check http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/
    Especially if you add a <wsdl:documentation> in your <wsdl:portType> you end up with a WSDLParser error, while the file perfectly validates through Eclipse:
         <wsdl:portType name="ImportPortType">

    I created a new project and tried to repeat the steps to import. Still getting the same error.
    This is my Message type definition if that helps
