Eclipse has support for Ant built in. You can set up an Ant build file that creates a WAR file, deploys it the server, undeploys it, starts the server, stops it, ...

    Hello,
can I install the OSB eclipse plugins (proxy service, business service, xquery editors) in Eclipse 3.5?
    Best regards,

    Thank you for the answer!
Well, I have tried this - they do not work. Would be interesting to know when the plugins are going to get ported to the latest eclipse version...

  • Is there an Eclipse Plugin/API for Photoshop .jsx editing?

Like the title asks... does anyone know if there is a plugin available for Eclipse that will assist with the editing of Photoshop .jsx script files?  The ESTK that comes with Photoshop isn't exactly the greatest tool for editing the script files and I've actually found it to be more hinderance than help in some cases.  I've been using Eclipse for my recent adventure into Java programming and it's been a great help for not only learning Java, but also for speeding up the writing of known code as well.  I have found a couple of generic JavaScript plugins, but nothing that has the Photoshop API.  Anyone know of any?

Interesting.  Your post got me looking again and I found something from Adobe called Flex Builder 3.  I apparently don't have the right version of Eclipse to use it properly, but it did lead me to the Eclipse JS editor which, while not exactly what I'm looking for, it is more helpful than the ESTK as far as navigation.  I can simply select a variable and it highlights all instances of that variable in the function(s) it affects (just like it does in regular Java).  This in itself makes it more useful to me than the ESTK as my scripts seem to be becoming increasingly elaborate.  Additionally, it helps keep track of the variables and alert me if they are unused or improperly initialized (such as initializing it inside a loop then calling it outside of it.
While not exactly what I was hoping for, it is still an improvement over how I have been doing it, so I'll probably end up doing like you do, DBarranca, and write/edit in one program then copy/paste to ESTK for the debugging.  Thanks for the idea at least!

  • Netbeans and eclipse plugin issue for OracleWaveset_8_1_1_0

    Hi,
I am struggling with the correct plugin for OracleWaveset_8_1_1_0. I had sun idm 8.0 and now i have upgraded it to OracleWaveset_8_1_1_0. Since I am not able to run BPE Business procedd editor which comes default IDE with sun idm, so I downloaded Netbeans 7.1 (latest version) but i am not getting correct plugin for my installed idm. i have java 6 installed in my system. can anybody help to use IDE for OracleWaveset_8_1_1_0.
    I downloaded below files :
    com-sun-idm-ide_9.0.0.20110309_nb6.8.nbm
    com-sun-idm-ide_8.1.0.20080630.nbm
from http://java.net/projects/identitymanageride/downloads but while importing this plugin it is giving me error -
Some plugins require plugin Editor Library to be installed.
The plugin Editor Library is requested in version >= 1.20.1.4.2 (release version 1) but only 3.17.1.19.25 (of release version different from 1) was found. The following plugin is affected:       Identity Manager IDE
Its not allowing to install this plugin....
Looking forward for your help on this
    Regards,
    Jimmy

I've been successfully using com-sun-idm-ide_9.0.0.20110309_nb6.8.nbm with NetBeans 6.8 and Waveset 8.1.0.10 for some time now.
After upgrading to 8.1.1.6, I've noticed an intermittent behavior when uploading an object from Netbeans when the progress bar cycles continuously until it s killed. Looking at the Waveset log shows 1,000s of logins in a row during this time.
Anyone else see this behavior? There have been no updates to the java.net project in almost a year, and I can't find a newer .nbm bundled with 8.1.1.0-8.1.1.6.

  • Eclipse plugin for Oracle Service Registry

    Hi,
Is there an eclipse plugin available for OSR? I want to create a service in Eclipse and should be able to publish it to the registry from there itself? Is it supported?
Or is it possible from any other IDE(JBuilder?) to publish into OSR?
An eclipse plugin will be the best solution if somebosy can point me to that.

  • Eclipse Plugin for JavaFX 1.2.3?

    Hi,
The JavaFX eclipse plugin webpage (http://www.javafx.com/docs/gettingstarted/eclipse-plugin/index.jsp) describes how to install the eclipse plugin, but the link on JavaFX 1.2.1 points to the download of the 1.2.3 version which is not supported by the eclipse plugin!
The eclipse plugin says something like that: "Imcompatible version: Need JavaFX 1.2.1, found 1.2.3..."
Is there an Eclipse Plugin version for 1.2.3?
Else, Where can I download the JavaFX SDK 1.2.1?
    Thanks.

The JavaFX 1.2.3 SDK was just released this morning. The Eclipse Plugin still requires the JavaFX 1.2.1 SDK, which you can download from:[http://java.sun.com/javafx/downloads/previous.jsp#1.2.1]. We are updating the document [Getting Started With JavaFX Technology Using Eclipse IDE|http://javafx.com/docs/gettingstarted/eclipse-plugin/index.jsp] to point to the correct download. Thanks!

  • Installing plug-in in Eclipse for Tomcat

    Hi,
I think for using Tomcat in Eclipse IDE, we have to use tomcat plugin. As per this link : "http://www.sysdeo.com/eclipse/tomcatplugin", I have downloaded "tomcatPluginV31.zip" files. Then Installation phase,
Plugin activation for Eclipse 3.0 :
select menu 'Window->Customize Perspective...->Commands', and check 'Tomcat' in 'Available command groups'
As per above, I opened Window->Customize Perspective -> Commands but I'm not seeing "Tomcat" to select.
Please corect me if I'm wrong, Anyone can help me.
    Thanks,
    Hari

You'll probably need to contact Bang and Olfsen on that issue. The plugin they offer appears to be more that two years old and may not be compatible with newer versions of iTunes. If you don't have the 1.1 version of the plugin, though (that's the most recent I can find), you might download that from B&O's web site:
    http://www.bang-olufsen.com/beosound2/software-downloads-mac
and give it a try. It's included with the "firmware for Mac OS X 10.4" update.

  • Crystal Reports for Eclipse plugin and CR XI server

I have a software requirement in which I need to support both internal (CR Eclipse plugin using the report viewer, not sure what the real name of this is) along with external (CR XI server) reporting.  In other words, I should be able to display a report (.rpt) that exists on my local app server along with one that exists on the CR XI server.  My question is this:
So I have both sets of jar libraries (eclipse plugin and XI server) and I see that some of the them are overlapping (some of the jars have the same name).  For the ones that overlap, should I choose the ecilipse plugin or XI server ones...?
One example I found is that the eclipse plugin rasapp.jar contains the POJOResultSetHelper class whereas the rasapp.jar from the XI server does not.  In this case, I presume I should use the eclipse version, right?
    Thanks for your help!
    Louis

    Hello Louis,
-If you are using latest version of CR Eclipse plugin using the report viewer, then I would recommend going for JAR files of this eclipse plugin than that of CR XI Server.
-The only reason being Eclipse plugin will give you most updated JAR files.
-Before using JAR files from Eclipse plugin, I would suggest you to update your present JAR files to latest available JAR files.
This can be done through Eclipse using update option.
And once you update them, you can use those JARs.
    Thanks,
    Chinmay

  • Switching the language of the "Crystal Reports for Eclipse" plugin

    Good day everyone,
I would like to ask about configuring the language of the "Crystal Reports for Eclipse" plugin:
    - I have "Crystal Reports for Eclipse" version: 2.0.7.r1040
    - I have installed the language packs 1 and 2
    - Currently, the Crystal Reports perspective and the associated views are displayed in German.
    - I would like to switch these views back to English.
    Questions:
    1. How can I switch the language?
    2. Will this switching of the language have any known side effect on the existing reports, because some of the reports in my current project are displayed in German?
Thank you in advance for your support.
    Best regards,
    Samar

    Hello everyone,
I have found a solution for this question that I would like to share with you.
    - Browse the Control Panel
    - Open the Regional and Language Options
    - In the Regional Options tab under the Standards and formats group, select the Locale that you prefer.
    - *Restart Eclipse* and the Crystal Reports plugin would read the changed setting and display the Crystal Reports perspectives and views in the language of the selected Locale.
    Best regards,
    Samar

  • Where to get FlexPMD 1.0.1 for Eclipse plugin?

I installed FlexPMD Eclipse plugin 1.0.0. The PMD View was totally blank when I run FlexPMD.
According to the article, I should use FlexPMD 1.0.1, but I can only find 1.0.0. where can i get the 1.0.1 for eclipse?

Sun only archives back to 1.1. Have you tried using Google? Why are you
developing with such an outdated API? Probably for J2ME (small device such as mobile Phone and PDA)...yes, i know one should use J2ME...but J2ME ilacks many API not found in SDK. howvere, i would suggest one whould work with at least 1.1 or higher.

    Â Hi Senthil
The only way for you to get CR4E is to download it from our web site.
I just made a try, just to check if our web site was having any troubles today, and it worked fine, so I assume you might be experiencing some troubles on your side with your internet connexion.
I have successfully downloaded the All-In-One zip file of CR4E, that you can find there :
    Â http://diamond.businessobjects.com/node/433
I suggest you give it some more tries.
    Thank you for using CR4E.

  • Unable to install Eclipse Plugin for Azure

I am unable to install the Eclipse Plugin for Azure.  I have Eclipse Indigo and have installed the Azure SDK 2.3.  When I try to add the site http://dl.msopentech.com/eclipse in the Install New Software window I get an authentication pop-up.
When I try my Microsoft ID it fails authentication.  The instructions do not mention any authentication.  What should I put in here?

    Hi,
This plugin requires Azure SDK 2.3. This can be downloaded using the Web Platform Installer (WebPI) at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=252838. However, if you don’t have it installed, when you create your first Azure deployment project, the plugin will automatically install
    Azure SDK 2.3.
Also, you could download the sdk from GitHub (https://github.com/MSOpenTech/WindowsAzureToolkitForEclipseWithJava ) and manually install . And you could refer to this blog
    (http://java.interoperabilitybridges.com/cloud ).
    Please try it.
