Edge Animate shows Javascript error when opening

Hi,
Im working on a edge animate file for school. My program is all up to date and have been working on it for a while. Now when I go to open the file, show me the error:
"Loading Failed, please check your page for JavaScript errors"
I don't write jquery or modify the js.
What can I do? Why this happend?

there was a problem initially due to program plug-ins reported missing so i tried going onto 'Help' and clicking on 'Configure Plug-Ins' from the drop down menu.

i tried to reinstall INDESIGN only... didnt work same problem.
i tried by uninstalling INDESIGN and then reinstalling it only.... didnt work same problem.
I guess im going to have to do a full reinstall.. not a problem, do i need to contact yourselves to get clearance for a reinstallation?
I had a hard drive crash about 6 months ago and had to reinstall, had to phone Adobe and get an online clearance as id exceeded my sole installation for my CS3 hard copies.

I'd bet the original scenario was something like you tried to open a file and saw a message that you were missing plugins, or they were out of date, and that you should update or upgrade. That's the typical message you get when you try to open a file saved from a newer version of ID. Unfortunately it's quite misleading -- nothing you do to the plugins will help you in that case, and trying to use newer versions would be disastrous.
You should be able to selectively reinstall just ID. If you have the DVD you can run the installer and do a "Repair" installation, and if that doesn't work, you should be able to uninstall ID, then reinstall without removing the whole suite. If that still doesn't work, bite the bullet, uninstall everything and run the clean script (http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=kb402767&sliceId=1), then reinstall. I'm not sure what happens with a downloaded installer, but I suspect it works the same. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that to uninstall from a download you need to have it in the same location as was originally used for the installation.

How do I fix a javascript error when opening Dreamweaver?

DW CS6 recently started having 2 JavaScript errors while opening the application and at least 1 additional JavaScript error when using the Insert Image command. Can someone provide some advice on fixing this issue?

Javascript error when opening Tag editor

I have been using dreamweaver 8 for the last month or so. all
of a sudden a couple of days a go it started to give me the same
error every time i right clicked an input element and clicked the
'Tag Edit <Input>'.
The error reads
"While executing onLoad in input.htm, a JavaScript error
occurred."
Any ideas?
I have already tried the repair option in Add/Remove
Programs, and that didnt work
I then tried the Remove option, and then completely
reinstalled it to no prevail

Javascript errors when opening video in Firefox and IE

I am not a engineer so I've stopped just short of teaching myself how to debug java errors to fix this very annoying problem. When I try to open certain sites with video content I get a string of errors like this:

Javascript error when open firefox

When I try to open Firefox, I get a long pause and then this error message: [Exception... Firefox then opens. This does not occur with Internet Explorer. This just started happening today. What is this, and how do I fix this? I am just a regular user, not a tech person. Thanks.

This issue is caused by the an AVG extension probably AVG Security toolbar.

Photoshop keeps showing 'strtable error' when opening PSD files?

I'm on a near new late 2013 model MBP/OS 10.9.4 running CC2014.
Anybody encounter this and figure out whether it's a Mac OS or an Adobe issue... or even better, what it is & how to fix it? A quick search hints that it might be related to the wrong file extension being used, but these files are all standard PSDs with the correct file extension. Several have been created recently using the new-to-me CC2014 PS app I'm using to open them, so at first sight CS->CC version compatibility issues seem unlikely.
So far I've still been able to open the PSDs by ignoring and clicking through the warnings, but it obviously doesn't promote a relaxed frame of mind ;-)

Results as per below. I suspected the problem might be text/font related hence the additional steps.
- Created new file
- Quit PS
- opened file > OK
- Added editable text to file
- Quit PS
- Opened file: strtable error
- Restart machine
- Opened file: strtable error
- Reset PS preferences
- Opened file: strtable error
- Opened in plugin disabled mode
- Opened file > OK
- Deleted FontExplorer plugin
- Opened file > OK
- Quit PS
- Reinstalled FontExplorer plugin
- Opened test file & others with editable text > OK
So, in the end the problem was with the FontExplorer plugin and replacing that fixed it.

Edge Animate CC – Exception Error

I recently installed the test version of Edge Animate CC – but it doesn't work.
It starts up with a white screen and a popup showing the remaining days of the trail version, as expected.
After assigning the button continue trail, I may create a new document but can't adjust size or anything else without the error code:
"Edge Animate – Exception: An error occurred. Please save your work and restart Edge Animate" Any ideas? Running on mac osx 10.8.
I already deleted the preference folder – without effect.

As you did not give any other information other then the stack trace it's heard to help. Does this error show a dialog box which asks you if want to save your work and exit or save and continue?
Where was the ER diagram created?

Win32 exception error when opening file from RH6 in RH7

I received the following error when opening a help file
(.xpj) that was developed in RoboHelp 6 in RoboHelp 7:
An unhandled win32 exception error occurred in RoboHTML.exe
[4692].
This occurred after receiving the notice to upgrade the
project since it was created in an older version. After selecting
Upgrade, I received a runtime error message prompt. After clicking
OK, I received the message above.
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue so that I can open
the project without any problems in RH 7?

Yep, I just uninstalled Adobe Reader 7.0 and installed version 6.0.1. The links now work perfectly, so evidently this is a problem with Adobe Reader 7.0. Other reasons:
The Active-X control of Reader 7 has a bug.
Your Internet security settings will not allow this operation. The Active-X will be loaded but will have no access to the file and yo get a wrong error message.
Fair enough. If that is indeed the case, which Internet security setting should I try changing? I haven't done anything unusual to any of those settings. And where is pdf.js located? I tried searching for it but could not find it.
Your advice is greatly apreciated.

I have Dreamweaver CS3 installed. It was running fine till tomorrow and than suddenly I started to get javascript errors when trying to open file in DM. I reinstalled DM twice but issue was not resolved.
