  • Non-Editable Row in Matrix

    Hello,
I need to know if we can set just ONE row to non-editable in a matrix. I've already saw B1 doing that, but I couldn't find a way to do the same.
    thanks a lot,
    Stape.

what you mean is that you want to lock a single cell / row
i didn't try sbo 2007 but in 2005 it is not possible
    Edit:
i had a look at the 2007 documentation and there's still no way.

  • Is it possible to run Priority Matrix on ML?

Is it possible to run Priority Matrix on ML?

Thank you, Pablo. I have been unable to locate the PM version for the Mac and the only reference I've found to it seems to imply that ML doesn't meet its latest OS's requirements, though the previous (OS X up to OS 10.7 do). ML is OS 10.8. Sig says I should ask you what are the requirements for PM. I guess that means, does ML meet those requirements?

  • Edit Job Priority of Scheduling job in F110

    Hi All,
I am having problem with F110.
In that transaction when I am creating Proposal, Running Proposal and Taking Printout, It creates background job with low priority.
My requirement is to make it with High priority.
I have done it in Proposal Create and run with BA, but I am not able to make it in Printout.
Is there any Exit / BADI / BTE for that.??
    Regards,
    Meet

    HI,
For 'proposal' and 'payment run' (program- SAPF110S) a BADI
FI_F110_SCHEDULE_JOB is there, u can export the job name, using memory ID
ADK_JOBNAME_CLASS_A. Function module JOB_OPEN_ADK, SAP is importing our
job name. Here we with the help of that function module set the
    priority from C to A.

  • Find row Index of edited matrix cell

    Hai,
I have designed a matrix which shows some value. The user is allowed to edit the values in Matrix cell. I want to update the edited value in no object table. Is there any way to find out the row indexes of edited cell of matrix.
If so, How to achieve this?
    Thanks in Advance.

Using the validate is the same as any other itemevent: C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One SDK\Samples\COM UI\CSharp\02.CatchingEvents
The event will be raised when a user exits a field but in this case I don't think it's what you need.
    You should:
    1. Put a button on your form,
    2. when the user clicks it, loop through the matrix
    3. Check the Titles, and if they are different to what is in the No Object UDT, do step 4
    4. Update the table.
These are important SDK concepts and you should invest some time in learning how to use both the Matrix Object and the UserTables object. The SDK helpfile provides sample codes.
For example, the following method can be used to update a record in a UDT
    Private Sub Add_Data_Click()
        Dim oUserTable As SAPbobsCOM.UserTable
        Set oUserTable = oCompany.UserTables.Item("NoObjectTableName")
        oUserTable.GetByKey ("CodeOfValueInNoObjectTable")
        'Set default, mandatory fields
        oUserTable.Name = "Title"
        'Set user field
        oUserTable.UserFields.Fields.Item("U_AdditionalUDF").Value = "1"
        ret = oUserTable.Update
        If ret <> 0 Then
            oCompany.GetLastError ret, Str
            MsgBox Str
        Else
            MsgBox "Value to field: '" & oUserTable.UserFields.Fields.Item("U_AlbUDF").Name & "' was updated successfuly to " & oUserTable.TableName & " Table"
        End If
    End Sub
I do not have the time to write up a full routine for this, but this information should be enough to get you started. Also check the SDK samples C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One SDK\Samples\COM UI\CSharp\06.UseMatrix
Edit: To answer your intial question, there is no indicator on the matrix object which shows which rows are edited - you have to implement a logic that checks this yourself.
e.g. you could use the validate event to store the row number (pVal.Row) in a List that you can then use later after the user clicks the button.

  • Midi sound cracks and stops while editing in matrix

When I use the matrix editor occasionally I get a horrible clicking sound when adding a note, moving a note around or resizing a note using the editor.
The clicking sound is then followed by silence. The only way I can get my sound back is by restarting my Mackie Onyx Satellite interface. This happens every 5-8 clicks of editing in the matrix. Help appreciated.
    Thanks

  • Priority not presented in the email notification

Hi all :) .. my problem is when i create an incident directly from the console a notification will be sent to the affected and assigned to users that shows the target resolution time and the priority, but when the incident is created from the portal or
in other words from a template it doesn't show priority or target resolution time, when i set the impact and urgency values in the incident template the priority value is always empty unlike creating the incident directly from the console !! anyone can help
    ??

Priority and Target Resolution Time are calculated values. They're calculated by the Incident Form. When you select the Impact and Urgency on the Incident form, the form itself (in the code-behind) sets the Priority value based on the Incident
priority matrix (which can be configured in "Incident Settings" in Administration|Settings). It also sets the Target Resolution Time.
So, when you create an Incident from a template using the portal or any other process other than the Incident Form, the priority value and Target Resolution time will not be automatically populated.
Here are some solutions you can explore with varying levels of complexity and compromises:
    1) The easiest (in my opinion) is to simply set the priority value in your template. This can be done by directly editing the management pack template. (The Priority isn't calculated when you're creating an Incident template using the Incident form
in the console..it appears to be a bug in the Incident form.)
The compromise is that anytime you change the Incident Priority matrix the priority value in your template may no longer match what you changed. Plus you'll have to manually modify the xml in your incident template's management pack.
The other compromise is that you can't really set the Target Resolution Time in the template because you don't know what it will be. So your notification still will not include it.
    2) Create some custom workflows, extend the Incident class, and re-work your notification subscription criteria. This is an uncomfortably complex approach (maybe someone will have a simpler one). This approach assumes you only want to send a notification
when the Incident is created and only when the priority/TRT has been calculated.
Extend your incident class with a "PriorityCalculatedSendNotification" Boolean property.
Modify your Incident template and set the PriorityCalculatedSendNotification value to false.
The first custom workflow will trigger on the creation of an Incident. This workflow runs C# or a Powershell script that examines the Incident Priority calculation and applies the appropriate value to the new Incident's Priority property if the
Priority/TRT is not already set. Similarly, if the Priority isn't already set, it also sets "PriorityCalculatedSendNotification" to true. Lastly, it calculates the TRT and applies that value to the Incident record.
The second custom workflow triggers when and Incident is updated and the PriorityCalculatedSendNotification is true. This workflow sends your notification template and also applies a new Incident template that sets the PriorityCalculatedSendNotification
to false. (The only value in that template would be PriorityCalculatedSendNotification=false to prevent it from overwriting any other value)
Your existing notification subscription that triggers when an Incident is created needs additional criteria. The additional criteria will be "Priority not equal to null" or "Priority not equal to 0" (one of those two, I can't remember
off the top of my head which option it is).
    3) The simplest option of all..in your email notification, simply say "If this incident was created from the portal, it will not have a priority or target resolution time yet". Instead of adjusting Service Manager, adjust your
    user's expectations ;)

  • Derived table query size limit 65KB?

Hi.  When in Edit Derived Table, if I paste a query larger than about 65KB, the end of the query will be cut off.  Then I must create multiple Derived Tables.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Do you find the limit to be about 65KB?
    Thanks,
    Mike

Most databases cut off at that limit, so it's not really a Designer limitation.
Frankly, if you have a derived table with 65K of SQL you need to fix your ETL.

  • BPM Workspace - Persistent column resizing & locking down Priority field

    Hello All,
    BPM version 11.1.1.7
    1) In the BPM workspace, a user can resize the visible columns in the tasks list in the Inbox views or other views. However, as soon as the user navigates out and returns to the view , the layout gets resset. All the column resizing is lost. This happens within the same session. Is this expected behaviour? Is there any way to alter this?
Usually in ADF applications, hooking the application to MDS and enabling user customizations persists the column resizing across sessions. I am wondering why (if) this hasn't been done for the workspace.
    2) The priority field is editable by any user. Is there a way to lock this down based on roles? i.e. only certain roles may edit the priority.
    TIA,
    Bijesh

    Welcome here,
not very wise to start the first question but not mark the "thread as a question"
    anyway - i'll help
when the matrix is empty add a row:
    c#
    ((SAPbouiCOM.Matrix)(oForm.Items.Item("mtxUID").Specific)).AddRow(1,-1);

  • Use Matrix Object

    Hi
I have a problem with the Matrix Object. This object can be filled with data manually, running on the 2004C SDK, but NOT on the 2007A version. The line data can be edited, if it is filled before through DB datasource, but cannot be edited if the Matrix is empty.
So my question would be that how can we enter data to the rows of the Matrix Object manually, if the  Matrix is actually empty.
    Thanks

    nice
some rewarded points would be nice but you're new here

  • Looking for a app I saw for prioritizing tasks into four quadrants

I saw it before but I decided to keep looking, now I can't find it! Please help! I've been trying to find it for days and I'm lost.
It was a little like priority matrix but different. It had a chalkboard background on at least one screen and you would sort task cards into different sections of the screen to priorize tasks.
Thanks for the help in advance!
PS- is there and app out there for app browsing history, or to "mark" apps you might want to come back to later?

I recommend that instead of working on an iPad application you get a good web programmer in and set up a web-facing system that can be used from anything with a web browser --  an iPad, a smartphone, a laptop or a desktop.  Then your employees can access the system from any computer with a web browser, and you don't need to employ an expensive specialist programmer to produce a system which is useless for devices made by other manufacturers.  The only requirement for use will be that your devices must in range of either WiFi or a phone signal.
It will also mean that if you need to change your software at any time you only have to change one copy, back at headquarters, rather than update an App on every individual iPad.
Apple's web browsers (including the ones built into iDevices) allow a web site to request the user's location, so people using an iPad should be able to do the things you have asked for.

  • A video clip import for a new project keeps showing up as a clip from an older project.

So here's the issue, I succesfully imported and trimmed 95% of the video clips from my GoPro today. However, when I upload the piece de resistance, it shows up as a clip from an older project that I've already deleted. Despite showing me the older clip in the imported section, I can still play approximately 1/3 of the actual, new clip. Problem is it stops and doesn't allow me to work with the remaining footage. I've tried importing it straight from the SD card, copying it to the desktop first, etc. No luck. Any advice?

    So, it's Photoshop CS3.
Anyway, from what I understood, you open the photo directly form the disk in Photoshop. That is, you don't use Lightroom to open the photo in Photoshop. It just doesn't work this way. As I said above, Lightroom has no way of knowing when to import a photo that has been saved in Photoshop.
If you insist on using Jpegs for derivative files, your best way to go is indeed using Synchronize.
However, I'd advice to use a lossless format, like TIFF or PSD. Why leave image quality on the table (as Jeff Schewe likes to say)? Storage is cheap and you're editing only your best photos in Photoshop anyway.
And as an additional benefit, you can automate the process of importing derivatives:
Configure what file type to use in Prefs: TIFF or PSD, bit depth, color space etc.
Select an image in Lightroom and hit Ctrl+E.
The derivative file is created in the chosen format and opened in Photoshop.
    Edit and save in Photoshop.
Voila! Your edited derivative is already in Lightroom.
