I was given these instructions but not clear how to do it:
Click on the "Properties" tab in the sidebar on the right.

3) Update your site

Center Window Title at runtime
I am currently working on an application where the user wants to
see a variety of information in the title of the window. Three
things will be in the title bar 1)Application Name on the far
left 2) Form Name in center 3)date on the far right.
I have this working with the following code segment, but as you
can see from line 3, I have hardcoded 197 -- tweaked this #
until title was centered.
I would like to use get_window_property('window_name',width),
but I get the coordinate system width (527), which will not work
correctly with the code below.
Any ideas about the relationship between 197 and 527(defined
width of form) and/or suggestions for removing the hardcoded
value.
Thanks in advance.
code segment:
1- wintitle := 'GUI Test Form';
2- winwidth := get_window_property('window1',width);
3- pad := (197 - (length(wintitle)+length(fApp 1AF)+length
(sysdate)))/2;
4- wintitle := 'App 1A'this.stage.nativeWindow.title = appTitle; But remember to listen to addedToStage Event

How to set browser window title from FPM ?
How do I set brwoser window title at runtime in FPM ?
Using IDR area objetc I can set only apllication are(ident area) title, not the browser window title. Browser window title is set statically from iView name of in portal, and PFCG contect if in NWBC client.
But in my case, I want to set it at runtime, for eg. in case of Purchase Order window, I want to set it as 'Purchase Order:<PO number>
Is there any API to set this?
Thanks again,

Please suggest an API.
Thanks in AdvanceHi Hari,
For changing the application title you need to configure, which i assume u know and have configured.
now you can use the following code to change the title.
DATA lo_idr TYPE REF TO if_fpm_idr.
get idr instance*
lo_idr ?= cl_fpm_service_manager=>get_service( cl_fpm_service_manager=>gc_key_idr ).
IF lo_idr IS NOT INITIAL.
lo_idr->set_application_title(
EXPORTING
iv_title = lv_heading
iv_title_tooltip = lv_heading ).
ENDIF.
where lv_heading is the new heading.
for any other question on FPM post it in Floorplan Manager for WebDynpro Abap fourm
Hope this will help you.

Modify window title of popup at runtime
We have a generic popup that allows the user to scroll through a series of instructions. The instructions vary based on the test. Is there a way, at Runtime, to change the popup's window title (based on the VI's name, or read from a config file)?
Sorry, the picure is wrong... the capture tool clipped the picture. Sorry. Really all you need is the property node.

How to zoom into small text in Title Edit Window?
Ok,
So when I am putting in disclaimer text in the Title edit window, I can't read it. I could if I could zoom into it or at least increase the scaling of the video preview.
Someone else has had to have had this problem. As you can see from the attached image, all the wasted extra space around the video, if I could just zoom in like you can on the preview window I could read it.
How can I zoom into the area I am trying to edit with small text???
Pleas help, anyone???First of all Reset Current workspace, does not seen to fit the window also I would make the titler a floating window.
You cannot zoom in but you can make it full screen by hitting the 'tilde"(grave) key.
You can also scale up the text, adjust, and scale it down again. -

Changing the text "SAP Enterprise Portal 6.0" in the browser window title
Hi,
I want to change the standard browser window title from "SAP Enterprise Portal 6.0" to my clients company name.
Has anyone done this before?
Please help.
Thanks in advance
PadmamrHi,
To change the name of the browser:
System Administration > System Configuration > Service Configuration > Portal Runtime > Central Configuration.
Scroll down to: portal.html.head.title
and change to required name of your company.
Also, if you goto System Administration > System Configuration > UM Configuration > Direct Editing.
Here you will find a host of UME controls for logging on and logging off the Portal. You can change images etc... from here.
Remember to restart the Portal and components for changes to take affect.

[DWM] How to get window titles (w/xprop?)
I'm trying to expand my "switch-to-tag"-script to include window titles, but have stumbled upon something I can't understand:
If I issue "xprop" (with no arguments), and click on my firefox-window, I get the following output:

_NET_WM_NAME(UTF8_STRING) = "How do I get the active window title into a script? (Page 1) / Applications & Desktop Environments / Arch Linux Forums - Mozilla Firefox (Private Browsing)"
So that worked alright. However, if I feed the ID of the window (0x1400001) to xprop, I get the following:
user@host $ xprop -id 0x1400001
WM_CLASS(STRING) = "firefox", "Firefox"
WM_COMMAND(STRING) = { "firefox" }
_NET_WM_USER_TIME_WINDOW(WINDOW): window id # 0x1400002
WM_CLIENT_LEADER(WINDOW): window id # 0x1400001
_NET_WM_PID(CARDINAL) = 873
WM_LOCALE_NAME(STRING) = "C"
WM_CLIENT_MACHINE(STRING) = "allotria"
WM_NORMAL_HINTS(WM_SIZE_HINTS):
program specified size: 10 by 10
WM_PROTOCOLS(ATOM): protocols WM_DELETE_WINDOW, WM_TAKE_FOCUS, _NET_WM_PING
WM_ICON_NAME(STRING) = "firefox"
_NET_WM_ICON_NAME(UTF8_STRING) = "firefox"
WM_NAME(STRING) = "Firefox"
_NET_WM_NAME(UTF8_STRING) = "Firefox"
There's no title in that output, even though I saw it by clicking - How come? And how do I grab the correct window title from a window id?

The id you obtained from xprop is the WM_CLIENT_LEADER, also listed in the WM_HINTS as the group leader. So that appears to be something like a root window for Firefox, not necessarily the one you see (with the title you want). -

I am getting Object reference errors when running windows form during runtime. In debugging mode in MS Visual studio 2005, I am not getting this error. I'm calling the window form from menu and called the window in a thread as suggested in one of forums . I don't see anyone in the forum mentioned this problem I have. How to change the Task title on runtime?
Hi experts again,
My customer is struggling with something very simple: how to customize the Task title. You can certainly create an argument in the task, use Data Associations to map the argument, and then use XPath expression to get the value from the task payload and set it to the task title. That works fine. But it only executes once, when the process instance 'enters' in the task.
So once the Task is created, you can see the custom title in the Workspace.
Now, can we change the Title on runtime? I thought you could get the task payload, update the title and finally update the task but this does not seem to work. Here's the code that does it.
In this example, the priority is updated successfully but not the title.
FacesContext context = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
String tskId = (String)context.getApplication().evaluateExpressionGet(context,
"#{pageFlowScope.bpmWorklistTaskId}", String.class);
IWorkflowServiceClient workflowSvcClient = WorkflowService.getWorkflowServiceClient();
ITaskService taskSvc = workflowSvcClient .getTaskService();
ITaskQueryService wfQueryService = workflowSvcClient.getTaskQueryService();
IWorkflowContext wfContext = WorklistUtil.getWorkflowContextForASelectedTask();
Task myTask;
try {
myTask = wfQueryService.getTaskDetailsById(wfContext, tskId);
Element payloadElem = myTask.getPayloadAsElement();
System.out.println("****************" + myTask.getTitle());
System.out.println("****************" + myTask.getPriority());
myTask.setTitle("Task Title 3");
myTask.setPriority(2);
myTask.setPayloadAsElement(payloadElem);
taskSvc.updateTask(wfContext, myTask);
} catch (Exception e) {
e.printStackTrace();
The results which printed out in console after execute above code twice.
****************Task Title 1
****************3
****************Task Title 1
****************2You can use the appropriately named Window Title property. In your project you can define conditional disable symbols (right-click on the project node and select Properties) and then use a conditional disable structure in your code. However, these symbols apply to the entire project, not to a specific executable. Thus, a better route would be to use the executable name (also accessible via a property), if possible, or some other distinction between the executables. What makes the executables different?

How to forbid window title bar to be draged?
If a top level vi has the window title bar,how to forbid user to drag the title bar to change window's position?
P.S. vi's property "Allow user to resize window" has been forbidden.
LabVIEW 8.6Unfortunately, the LabVIEW event structure does not provide an event like "Panel Move" or a similiar stuff.
I think, you have two different options:
a) Either use the event structure -> timeout case to set (if necessary) every Xms with the invoke method "Front Panel.Runtime Position.Custom" the position of the VI.
b) Probably you find an appropriate function in the attached zip file

Question about Setting Window Title/the use of AVWindowSetTitle()
Hi everyone,
I have a question about setting the title of the window in which the Acrobat viewer normally opens a PDF file. The documentation states that AVWindowSetTitle() cannot be used in this case. However, using it has worked with versions of Acrobat/Reader up until and including version 8.
Everything breaks down starting with Acrobat 9.
According to the documentation I am supposed to do the following: "To set the title of a window in which the Acrobat viewer opens a PDF file, you must replace AVDocOpenFromASFileWithParams() and pass the window title in tempTitle."
Unfortunately, there are 2 problems I have with this approach:
I do need to be able to change the document title on document Save, not only on document Open
I do not know what AVDocOpenFromASFileWithParams() implementation has to look like if I have to replace it using HFTReplaceEntry().
Is there a sample customized implementation of AVDocOpenFromASFileWithParams() somewhere that I could take a look at?
Is there a way to change a document Title inside Acrobat/Reader window after a Save operation?
Thanks a million,
Lana2010KI am sorry. I don't know how you tested this and came to conclusion that this works correctly in Acrobat X.
I just tested our Acrobat plug-in with a trial version of Acrobat X and this did not work.
When we open a file in Acrobat (doing it ourselves in the plug-in by adding another specialized open) we set the window title to something different from the default file name. Then if a file gets edited and saved (File->Save), the window title gets reset to the file name. In the PDDocDidSave callback we call AVWindowSetTitle() to set it back to a more descriptive window title we need. This has worked up until and including Acrobat 8, but does not work in either version 9.0 or 10.0.
Also, I just modified the plug-in code to always change the Window Title of every document (even if opened through native File->Open) on document Save. It does not work.
Please help,
Lana2010K
