Editing contacts that are linked to Facebook profiles

I find it very convenient to have contacts linked with Facebook as it fills in the fields that I couldn't otherwise be bothered to fill in. Like birthdays and profile pictures. The issue I'm having is that I can't remove incorrect or irrelevant information from the contacts info. Example being that a contact of mine has an old email listed on there Facebook. I can add the correct one but if I delete the old one it seems to reappear as soon as I hit save. The option is there to remove information but it seems to do nothing.
The other issue I'm facing is that unlinking the contact from Facebook removes all of the filled in info from Facebook. There seems to be no way of retaining it after the contact is unlinked.
Am I missing something?

I noticed the same thing today. I think the only way to solve the issue without unlinking the contacts is to ask your facebook friend to update their info on FB... I believe we cannot edit that info since it's provided by facebook, it's not local.

Method needed to identify Contacts that are not valid from the Comp Screen

Problem
My Company has 65k contacts in the system, we do not delete contacts that are no longer at company, as when we buy data our data in some cases will be more up to date that the third party data available on the market. This then means when a user looks at a company record and the related contacts, he has to hover the cusor over each of the contacts to check if they are valid or not.
Goal
When a user looks at the contacts linked to the company the following fields will be presnt:
Contact Valid
Contact Leave Date.
This will then mean the user will be able to see without looking which contacts are valid and which are not.
Problems
I have tried to create a contact page layout with the fields needed however the only fields avaiable are as follows:
Company ID
Company Name
Company Status
Contact ID
Contact Name
Contact Roles
Location
Primary

However I think I didn't make myself clear in my post in terms of the problem. The problem I have is that when a user looks at a company (account) record the user see the following information in relation to which of the available contacts to select "Primary,Last & First name,Job Title, Contact Role, Work Phone and Email". However none of these fields show if the contact is valid or if they have a leave date.
Both Contact Valid and Contact Leave date have been set up in the system within the contact record. I want to change the layout and have spent hours in the following screens and functions.
Page layout Management
Company/Contact Related Information layout
Related Information Setup
Company/Contact page layout
The problem is the screens/functions where I think I could add the two above mentioned fields end up with me turning the fileds into required or read only fields, and the section where I want to drag in the fields to display has the two fields missing.

Z30 Does not save contacts that are added

I just recently upgraded from a 9900 to a Z30 and am running the 10.2.0.429 OS. I have tried numorous times to add contacts by going into my contacts, hitting Add (at the bottom), filling out the necessary contact information and then hitting save at the top right hand corner. However, the phone does not seem to save any contacts I enter as when I go to search them, they are not there. The only contacts that are currently appearing in my contacts are my BBM contacts which migrated from my 9900.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

The phone is trying to be smart but sometimes it overthinks things.
If this is the case just go to the contact, click on links(x) and then click on unlink next to the one you want as a seperate contact.

Aperture is a nice program, I use it myself for it's adjustment and light editing capabiities.
You can save a vault on another drive.

Is there a way for my images that are links NOT to be denoted by whatever color i set my links to be in my page properties?

i have set my links to be black in my page properties. i have somes images that i am using for links and i do not want the to have a black box tracing their outline. it's messing up my design and tables. is there a way for my images that are links NOT to be denoted by whatever color i set my links to be in my page properties?

If you would like your NON-linked images to have a border, and only remove the border from linked images then this css:

Acrobat X does not convert figures in Word docx that are linked visio objects correctly

Acrobat X trial does not convert figures that are linked visio objects correctly.
I have a Word 2007 document with a figure that is a linked Visio Object.
Acrobat 9 converts the page with the figure correctly.
Acrobat X givcoverts the page with a blank figure and a play button and selecting the play button gives an all black figure.

Can you please share the word/visio file having issues in Acrobat X? Also please let us know the OS details on which you tried this file?

If your Sony has a removable memory card you can use a card reader to copy the image files from to a folder on your Desktop and then move them anywhere you'd like.
Since the iPhone doesn't have a removable memory card you can try using Image Capture to see if you can manually upload the files to a folder on the Desktop.
If you have to import the photos, which are image files, into iPhoto you can then export them out of iPhoto to the Desktop and go from there to your database. Just because they are in iPhoto doesn't prevent you from using them elsewhere.

Creating custom lists that are links to SharePoint sites.

I am new to SharePoint 2013 Online and was wondering if there is a non-coding way to build a sub-site from a template that is not initially connected to a site collection. Attach this sub-site to a site an already existing site collection afterwards and
use data from the sub-site that is created, to generate a custom list items that can also be used as links to the sub-site itself.
How I thought this might work would be to create templates for site collections (if that is even possible), and then use a links list or some other type of linked list but not exactly sure how this is done in SharePoint.
Any input on how to go about this would be greatly appreciated as well as any insight as to whether this is even possible to do with out coding. Thanks in advance.

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to create custom lists that are links to SharePoint sub-sites.
I recommend to create a custom list and add a multiple line column to display the sub-sites url.
Then create a workflow associate a custom list and use “Call HTTP Web Service" action and “Build Dictionary" action to get the count of the sub-sites.
Then use the Loop Stage to create a new item in the custom list and set the multiple line column to the url you get in the dictionary.

I currently have 14,181 contacts that are on my computer, which an apple tech was nice enough to show me how to transfer all my contacts from my mac 2 "iCloud " account all though when ever I log into my "iCloud" account from a different web browser it still only shows 13,032. Meanwhile on my mac book pro, the "icloud" contact is still spinning like its trying to update the rest of the missing contacts. I have let the computer run for 2 days straight and still no progress. Is there a limit to how many contacts I store on "iCloud" I have upgraded to the extra 25 gigs per year. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it, because its also slowing down my mac book pro significantly causing it hard to do any other task on my computer....Any advice or help would be again greatly appreciated.

On the surface, it doesn't sound like you're reaching a limit in the number of contacts you can have.
I would first create a contacts archive (file >> export) for a backup. Then, go to system preferences >> icloud and uncheck contacts. Reboot. Return to those preferences and recheck contacts.
Also, review http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4489 just in case you have some contact cards that are reaching a different limitation.

There is no such list of what is downloaded to each phone except in the backup. So if you have a recent backup of each phone you should be able to find an app that reads the backup files and would tell you what list is saved of the content on each phone.

There might be a slight glitch in the Facebook program and the setting which you are using to link your contacts. To fix this, I reccomend reinstalling Facebook, or if you go in your contact which you do not want, is there not a button at the bottom saying 'Delete Contact'? If non of these options work, try a reset in iTunes.

Firefox will not open windows that are linked on a site, for example reviewing a piece of work that has a link which opens it in a new window.

There are links on site that open in new windows and close after you are done. Like A review link/box. The window opens but it's a blank page and the url books just says "search bookmarks and history".

Editing contacts that don't have names

I'm trying to find a way to edit or delete the contact that have been created in the iPhone without names. These contacts do not show up in the "Contacts" application and don't sync with iTunes (at least, not with the gmail sync option).
The way I think i created these contacts is from mail application.... I manually typed in their email addresses. Now, when I start to type a new email recipient's name or email address I can see these other addresses show up, but I can't edit or delete them.

Thank you for the response.
If I create a new contact with the a full name and associate the email address of the virtual contact with this one it will show up in the email app with the full name. When I delete the new contact the mail app goes back to just showing the email address of this virtual contact.
It looks like we don't have a way to delete these virtual contacts from the iPhone. How long do we need to wait before these will disappear? maybe the phone only keeps X of them in memory.
