Editor's autocomplete option for " in JSE

Hi,
I'm new to Sun's Java Studio Enterprise and i found a default option that i don't like.
Can someone tell me how to turn off the autocomplete for the ". I'm getting " all over the place when i cut an paste. I've looked all over the place anc cant find were to turn it off

To disable autocomplete:
1) For JSE 8
Tools ->Options
Expand
Editing->Editor Settings->Java Editor and uncheck appropriate checkbox
2) For Ent Pack 5.5
Tools->Options and then
Editor->Code Completion and uncheck the check boxes

Export Video but no option for sound

I would be grateful if anyone could offer any suggestions on how to fix an audio issue with exporting video from Photoshop.
I am choosing the quicktime format however the option for sound is alwas greyed out. from the animation panel I have the audio enabled and I can hear it when I play back from within Photoshop.
I am using Photoshop CS4 extended on PC Windows 7
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
I understand the following -
For audio I need to choose Quicktime format
Photoshop is primarily image editing software (with video capabilities)

I do not have my CS5 Extended handy, so will go from the Premiere Pro (Adobe's video editor) side of the street. Bear with me on this, as PS-Extended might do things a bit differently.
When one is Exporting an AV file, there are two things that must be set:
Exporting both Audio & Video (in PrPro, these are done via checkboxes in the Export>General dialog screen)
Then, one must set Multiplexing * on the Export>Multiplexing dialog screen, to anything but "None." The choice is usually "DVD."
It's the Multiplexing Tab, that many miss. If set to None, then there will be two separate Export files - one for the Video stream, and one for the Audio stream.
Hope that gets you close, and sorry that I cannot open things up, and give you the exact screens and tabs in PS-Extended.

* Multiplexing is the combining of both the Audio & Video streams into a single, discrete file. Multiplexing is usually OFF by default, though in PrPro, it's a "sticky," in that it retains the last setting, so if the user wishes to make a change, they must do so manually, and that setting will then stick, until changed again. The Export of separate files for Audio & Video is most often used, when one is doing the Export to go to a DVD, or BD authoring program, like Adobe Encore. It works best with elemental streams, rather than muxed files, and especially with MPEG Audio.

Missing select-options for kna1-kunnr

Hi,
Has anybody ever come across this before ?
I've modified a program to add a new select options for kna1-kunnr and added a bit of code that processes the value entered.
In "development" it all tested OK and the program was transported up to "test".
In "test" the users tested and everything was OK.
The program was eventually transported up to "production" but when I run it in production the select-options for kna1-kunnr does not appear on the selection screen ? However, the when I run the program the additional bit of code that I also included does actually execute.
I haven't been able to look at the code yet because SE38 and SE80 are disabled in "production".
It sounds to me that the selection screen has somehow not generated correctly when the program was transported into production but the transport logs didn't display any errors or warnings. I have also had the program retransported into production but I still can't see the select-options.
There are no variants for the program and I'm not getting any security issues on the SU53.
Any help would be gratefully received.

Hi,
You can try system->staus->program name. Double click on program name and see if you enter abap editor. You can check your code there.
Or else just create another transport in development and send to production

AUTOCOMPLETE option in ABAP webdynpro

Can we implement auto complete option for a particular field in a view in ABAP webdynpro.For Example,in google search page if we type some word,it will automatically show the list possible searches values as dropdown.Please let me know if this is possible either in ABAP or ABAP webdynpro.

I haven't heard of Auto-Completion for plain ABAP, I don't think it's been realized yet (but I'm NOT entirely sure here).

Try making separate desktop icons for the Editor and Organizer. You can then launch directly. The standard desktop icon is for the welcome screen which often runs in the background or doesn’t shut down properly.
Start by right-clicking on the desktop and select:
New >> Shortcut
Then browse to:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 13
Inside the Photoshop Elements 13 folder make sure you select the application (not a shortcut) by scrolling down to the files beginning with the letter P and highlighting ‘PhotoshopElementsEditor’
Then click next followed by finish.
You can repeat for the Organizer using the different file path.
New >> Shortcut
Then browse to:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Elements 13 Organizer
Highlight ‘PhotoshopElementsOrganizer’
Then click next, followed by finish.
Now that you have your separate desktop icons you can delete the one for the welcome screen, if preferred. On Mac try launching directly from Applications. [if not using PSE13 substitute your own version and go to Program Files (x86)]

6111: No option for "Word Suggestions"

I can't set "Word suggestions". I have no menu option for Predictive Sett..
On page 23 of the 6111 manual it says you set "Word suggestions" as follows:
When writing text select Options> Prediction Sett> then turn Prediction On then you get to Prediction Type> Normal or Word suggestions.
When I am in create message and choose Options all I have are:-
Send
Preview
Clear field
Insert contact
Insert number
Insert smiley
Insert word
Insert Symbol
Writing Language
Dictionary Off
Use Template
Change msg. type
Save as template
Sending options
Save message
Exit editor
Go to top field
Go to bottom field
I don't have Prediction Sett.. in the list.

My problem is a sudden loss of ability to get to PSE12 Organizer when I tried to load a saved scan. Had been using the Organizer and the Editor with no problems for several hours just before that.     Can not load the Organizer from the icon at the bottom

Can not load the Organizer from the icon at the bottom of Editor screen, from the icon on the MacBook Air dock (OS 10.10.2), nor from the file in applications located with Finder.
I have tried without success to access Organizer after turning off and on the scanner, turning off and on the computer, loading a fresh copy of PSE12 from the CD, and restoring default preferences. I have searched on line for other options but not found any.
Can you help me?

Intermittent problems displaying autocomplete popups for autotext entries

When autotext entries are saved into a template in the startup directory. the autocomplete names for the autotext entries popup and allow the user to press Enter to expand them into the document SOME OF THE TIME. If I save the autotext entries into
a building blocks template in the user's appdata BB directory, the popups NEVER display. I also know that turning the HORIZONTAL SCROLL BAR ON affects the display of the autotext popups.
Does anyone know how to make them appear every time? Saving them in NORMAL.DOT is not an option.

You should NOT be getting "autocomplete/tooltips" for AutoText stored anywhere other than the normal template (or the attached template) in Word 2010. You got them for AT stored anywhere in Word 2003. You got them for no AutoText in Word 2007.
The ability to have them for any available AT was restored in Word 2013/365.

The naming of entries is crucial. The default (and poor) name assigned to AT entries is the beginning text in the entry. This is seldom unique. If the first four characters are not unique it can lead to problems. Also, it is possible to have different AutoText
have the same name and stored in different templates. As with macros havng the same names stored in different templates, Word has a hierarchy.
The F3 key has brought in AutoText entries as long as I can remember, I believe before Word 95. Again, it is looking for a unique 4-character name.
"...saved as AUto Text | General | Normal" to me indicates it is being saved in the normal template.
That is the diefault location for saving AT, and seldom what you want.
I now see that this is an older thread and you are not the original poster. You should read Stefan Blom's responses to the OP. There is no known bug in Word 2010 with AT other than the constraint of storage locations.

How do you get to the options for export settings with the new quicktime?

I'm having trouble with the new quicktime pro. I'm trying to export a video with specific settings when exporting. It seems that in this version of quicktime you export and the only options i get is how to format : for ipad/pod/phone or 480p which is not what I want I need to change the settings to make my video 480x360 and fast start for web. can someone help

You don't Use QT 7 "Pro", GarageBand, a video editor app, or a third-party app like MPEG Streamclip all of which can access user conversion settings.

Options for ReleaseSeqFileEx

The documentation for the options to the Engine.ReleaseSeqFileEx function lists one option as:
"ReleaseSeqFile_DiscardChanges - (Value: 0x1) Use this option to remove a modified sequence file from the Engine internal cache, thus discarding changes to the file..."
My question is: if I use this option when releasing a sequence file, is an unmodified sequence file not removed from the internal Engine cache? If I don't use this option, does a modified sequence file remain in the cache? And is removing a file from the cache the same as releasing it? Basically, I want to release a sequence file, whether or not it has been modified, and be able to load a fresh sequence file in the future.
Also, there are two options in the documentation for Re
leaseSeqFile_UnloadFile and ReleaseSeqFile_UnloadFileIfModified, but they have no specified values. What do these options do and how are they used? What is the difference between unloading, releasing, and removing from the cache?

Hi Jeff,
Yes, removing a file from the engine's internal cache is the same thing as releasing it. The main thing to keep in mind is that the file will remain in the cache until all references to it are released. There could be more than one reference to a file at any given time, whether your Operator Interface/Sequence Editor has a reference to it or an executing sequence has a reference to it, etc... Whenever you are editing a file in the Sequence Editor, the editor will maintain a list of changes you've made to the file until you save it. If you use the UnloadFileIfModified option when releasing, it will cause the editor to ignore the fact that it hasn't been saved (once a file has been saved, it is no longer in a "modified" state). You can combine the different options for the release method using the bitwise OR operator in the language you are calling it from since they are simply integer values. Try combining these options until you get the behavior that you would like. As you noted, there are some errors in the documentation for the options, in regards to what values they are, what they do specifically, and which ones are really valid/useful. Follow this guide for the options (notice that the DiscardChanges option is omitted; this option is not intended to be used externally by end-user programmers):
ReleaseSeqFile_DoNotRunUnloadCallback�(Value: 0x2) Use this option to prevent the SequenceFileUnload callback from running if the callback exists and the reference being released is the last reference. If other references exist to the sequence file, TestStand may execute the SequenceFileUnload callback when these references are released using Engine.ReleaseSequenceFileEx.
* Use the SequenceFile.UnloadCallbackEnabled property to prevent the SequenceFileUnload callback from ever being executed.

I believe you can specify italics by putting a slash before and after the text, bold is done using asterisks before and after text, and underline is done using the underline character before and after text.

There is no FaceTime app for the iPhone if that's what you're asking. FaceTime is accessible through your Contacts as one of the options in how to contact a person -- there is no standalone FaceTime app for iPhone.
If you mean how to disable FaceTime, you can do that in Restrictions (Settings/General/Restrictions).

I turn off all calendars but the birthdays. Select [Print]. Choose all the months you want to see. Deselect all calendars but birthdays. Click [Continue]. On the next menu, go to "Layout", select how many pages to print on the paper. I usually print a border around each calendar then you're good to go!
By only printing the birthdays calenar, you won't get too many appointments to get in the way of brain storming and future planning, yet the computer still thinks its printing a useful calendar.
