EEM Script to stop SIP service if a network route disappears from the routing table

Trying to run this on an ASR 1001-x with 3.13 code. It seemed to behave properly in the lab, but not on customer's router:

When the route disappeared, there was a line in the syslog "WebEx Route Lost - Disabling CUBE Service", but the service was not stopped. I had to stop it myself. I then let it sit. Once the route reappeared, the message "WebEx Route Added - Enabling CUBE Service" showed up, but SIP did not start. Any ideas?

If you have AAA command authz enabled, then make sure you've configured "event manager session cli username USER", where USER is a name authorized to run all of the CLI commands in your applets.
If you still don't see the behavior you want, enable "debug event manager action cli" to see what the results of the CLI commands are.

    In Logic:
    Preferences/Audio Set Recording Delay to 0 <zero>
    This should always be set to zero unless a specific set of circumstances exist and you're audio drivers do not report position correctly.
    On occasion, usually when importing a Logic 9 project, Logic-X randomly changes this to a negative/positive number.  It's actually a bug in Logic, as it should always display the waveform.

  • My iPad suddenly stopped connecting to my home network. It shows the network to. Choose from but there is no IP address or other information on the network page. It is set on DHCP and proxy is set at auto. Do I have another setting wrong?

    My iPad suddenly stopped working with my home network.  It shows the network to choose from but will not connect. When I look at details in that network it does not show IP address or any other info for the network.  Setting is on DHCP and http proxy is set on auto. Network is active and can connect on wife's iPad and other home computers.  Do I have another setting wrong?

    Some things to try first:
    1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
    3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
    4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
    5.  Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
        •    Launch Settings app
        •    Tap on Wi-Fi
        •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
        •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

    Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

  • EEM Script to use in an triple play network

    Hi,
    I have a customer which have a tripe play network. I attach the following drawing so you can have a better idea how the network looks like.
    IPTV, Internet and IP telephony is getting in in our customer network at both PE some you can see in the drawing.
    Basicaly our customer deliver the network infrastructure while ISP1, ISP2 and ISP3 deliver the content (IPTV, Internet and IP telephony).
    The two PEs which are getting the content in the network from the 3 ISPs are running the following hardware and IOS:
    cisco CISCO7606 with WS-SUP720 MSFC3 Daughterboard Rev. 3.2.
    IOS version: c7600s72033-advipservicesk9-mz.122-33.SRC5.bin
    BGP is used between the PEs and the ISPs router.
    The PEs are redundant for each other.
    Our issue is when one of the ISP is having some maintenance on their routers one the PEs goes really high on CPU until reaching 100%.
    I don't know why that is happening that is why I want to use EEM to dig deeper into it.
    So What I want to do is an EEM script that could do the following:
    1) The script should be triggered when CPU Threshold is reached (lets say 85 %).
    3) Run a show tech and save the output in flash.
    2) Then the script should run do the following commando and save the outputs to flash:
            - sh ip bgp vpnv4 vrf VRF10102 neighbors
            - sh bgp vpnv4 unicast vrf VRF10102 summary
            - sh ip  bgp vpnv4 vrf VRF10102 neighbors x.x.x.x advertised-routes
            - sh ip  bgp vpnv4 vrf VRF10102 neighbors x.x.x.x received-routes
            - sh isis neighbors detail
    3) Run "sh log" and save the output into flash.
    Anyone has an idea how I could made this script with EEM?

    I don't think you need a script for this.  An applet should work just fine.  This kind of thing is commonly done by TAC to aid in data collection for transient problems.  This policy should work provided the CPU instance is correct.  A 7600 will have at least two CPUs.  This applet assumes CPU instance 1 is the desired CPU, but it may be CPU instance 2 you need to monitor.

  • Services for object buttons randomly disappearing from FB03

    Hello SAP Experts,
    We display an FI document via tcode FB03 (Display Document) and use the "services for object" buttons to attach documents via the "create attachment" button and also to view attached documents via the "attachment list" button.
    However, quite often when displaying the FI document after a document has been attached, the "services for objects" buttons are not displayed.  Just a blank toolbar appears.
    Later on the when the FI document is displayed again via tcode FB03 (Display Document), the "services for objects" buttons do appear and the attachments can then be displayed.
    As the attachments can be viewed sometimes, I would say that this issue is not related to security.
    Any idea's what maybe causing the "services for objects" buttons randomly disappearing???

  • How do I stop click-thru "'Firefox' is an application downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?"?

    Every single time I launch Firefox 20 under Mac OS X 10.7.5 I get the click-thru warning message "'Firefox' is an application downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?". How do I stop this? There are internet postings and previous postings about solving this using Terminal commands for OS X 10.5.x & 10.6.x, but these commands do NOT work in 10.7.x or 10.8.x. This seems to be a Firefox ONLY issue, and solving it by globally turning off OS X security features as recommended before in a previously closed thread seems like a really BAD solution. Is there a "Firefox only" solution, or will I just have to stop using Firefox?

    I had upgraded to Firefox 20 using the automatic update process, so the last time I'd downloaded a .dmg and manually installed Firefox was a long time ago. I trashed Firefox 20, downloaded a new .dmg and manually transferred to Applications folder and this persistent message ended. I assume if I'd ever launched from the open .dmg the same error message would result, so the fix offered was a solution even though the cause was something different since I only used the automatic update process and never manually handled Firefox .dmg downloads.

    May be someone could help me to erase my basics questions on Robosource control.
    We have to manage several versions of our product documentation and It is not clear how it is managed by robosource control. The documentation tells what can do RBSC (and it seems to be what we need) but they do not explain how to do it (prerequisites, ordered steps, etc), and I do not really succeeded. May be I missed the basics.
    All our projects are added to Robosource control 3 from RoboHelp7 Html from a local directory.
    In the database, we inserted them in a directory corresponding to a version V01.r01.
    I would like to stop this version and start a new one V01.02 with the projects which are V01.01. What is the best way to do this:
    Do I just label the directory V01.01 and "Pin" it ?  In that way how can I recover all the projects and files that were labelled and pinned for version V01.01, if I need them later ?
    Copy and rename directory V01.01 into V01.02 to continue the file modifications without modifiying the same project in V01.01?
    My questions are quite similar to Kristen's questions.

  • Ical alert to  run script disappears from the event

    A few seconds after I set an  alert for an event  to run a script, the Run Script designation disappears and defaults to  alert Message. I cannot make the Run Script designation stick. So, when the alert triggers, no script is run.

    Are you syncing the calendars? Run Script alarms only work on local calendars, those under "On My Mac" in iCal.

  • How to stop application folder form disappearing from the dock

    I'm on MAC OS 10.6.7 on my Macbook 7.1.  My applications folder disappeared from the dock.  I can drag a new copy from the Mac Hard Disk folder to the dock (to the right of the dashed line (my dock is at the bottom) and it appears with an Address book icon.  After 10 to 15 seconds, the icon disappears.
    Anyone know what is going on and how to fix this?

    Not sure why this is happening, but try this. This is the way I've done it. First, make an alias of the folder (File>make alias) and put it somwhere, like Documents. Then, copy drag it (Option-click) to the part of the dock below or to the side of the separator near the Trash icon. This will place an alias of the folder in the Dock. You must keep the first alias you made.
    You can also make one just for Utilities, the same way. The app folder will appear with an A and the Utilties folder will appear with an X.
    EDIT: It's been a while now, but I think I got rid of the default app folder because I didn't like the way it looked and functioned.
    You can also see I put an alias of my home folder there, as well.
    Might as well mention another customisation. Get Tinkertool (free) Go to Dock>Disable Dock Expose to get rid of the very annoying -- at least to me -- entire screen turning black when opening one of the Dock icon's options.

  • How do I stop the flv video from disappearing from the screen?

    I inserted a flv with skin in captivate. the video plays fine but at the end, the entire video disappears from the screen. i checked the settings so that the video does not fade out. the settings are fine but the video window disappears after the video plays.
    sounds like there is a setting i must correct. which one is that?
