EEO-4 Report - Defining EEO Functions

I am trying to find where to configure and assign functions defined in the EEO-4 report for State and Local Governments (RPSEEOU_PBS).
The functions defined by EEO are:
1. Financial Administration
2. Streets and Highways
3. Public Welfare
4. Police Protection
5. Fire Protection
6. Natural Resources
7. Hospitals and Sanatoriums
8. Health
9. Housing
10. Community Development
11. Corrections
12. Utilities and Transportation
13. Sanitation and Sewage
14. Employment Security State Governments Only
15. Other
EEO requires that reports be broken down by these categories if there are more than 1000 employees.
Thanks.

There is no place where to configure the functions.
The options need to be provided in the report screen, separated by space.

  • Difference between EEO-1 , EEO-4 and EEO-5 reports in R12 HRMS

    hi Friends,
    Currently i am working on setup of EEO reports. i have done the setup successfully but i am not able to get the exact differece betweein EEO-1 , EEO-4 and EEO-5 reports.
    and the same time, i am facing one problem that when i am setting the Business group EEO REPORT = EEO-1 then in Job further information i am not able to select EEO function
    but when in business group I am taking EEO report= EEO-4 i am able to select values from Job further information for EEO function.
    Kindly help me to sort out this problem.
    Thank You
    Basaw

    Hi Basaw,
    Currently I have a requirement to work on setting up EEO reports in Oracle HRMS. Actually the set up was previously done by some other consultants which was incomplete. Hence the report is not pulling all employees. This is what our client reported to us.
    So if you can share some setup documents on it as you have mentioned that you have already configured it; it would be of great help.
    You can email me at [email protected]
    Thanks

  • Questions in Ad Hoc Query & How to Configure the EEO standard reports

    Hi all,
      I have a  question in Ad hoc query report in HR.
    <b>How to:</b> Get a list of the total number of employees included in a particular report at the end of the report. Ex: If i create and run a report for salaried employees, sorted out by company codes, how can i get a sub-total and total no. of employees listed in the report.
    I tried Ranked format, but when you print the report it doesn't retain the report name on the top.
    -->I have a question regarding the Standard reports for EEO and AAP
    <b> How do I</b>
    1. Start configuring these report
    2. What are the things i should have before configuring it in IMG
    If anyone can provide me with some documentation regarding the EEO and AAP report configuration that would be great.
    Thanks in advance.....

    This can be done using the security for the Infoprovider,  provide the users access to create queries only for that Infoprovider.

  • Report Builder: can i define a function in  the rdf file ?

    Hi All,
    About the report builder, can i define a function in the rdf file ? and then i want invoke it in the report SQL, just like :
    function Get_Ap_Prepay_Balance(p_Invoice_Id IN NUMBER, p_End_Date IN DATE) RETURN NUMBER IS
    l_Amount number;
    begin
    RETURN l_Amount;
    end;
    thanks.

    You can create functions in reports, but slightly different from doing it in PL/SQL
    function Get_Ap_Prepay_Balance return number is
    l_Amount number;
    begin
    assuming that you have invoice_id in your select statement and p_End_Date is a report parameter, you can refer to them in your function as :p_End_Date and :invoice_id
    for example select prepay_amount_remaining into l_Amount from ap_invoice_distributions where invoice_id = :invoice_id and accounting_date = :p_End_Date
    return(l_Amount);
    hope this helps

  • Can I define a Function as part of the Report?

    In an Oracle Report, I want to define a Function, to use in the report query. I defined a Function CALC_DIFFERENCE under Program Units. It compiled OK.
    But when I tried to use this function in the query it get them message ORA-00904 “CALC_DIFFERENCE” invalid identifier.
    Can I define a Function as part of the Report? Or does it need to be on the database?
    Report Builder 9.0.4.0.33
    Thanks

    You have to put it in the database if you want to use it in your query. The reason is simple: the query runs in the database, so it won't see the function in the Report.
    If you really need the function in the report (because it uses other values only known in the report), you have to create a formula column.

  • EEO-1 Report

    Hi Everyone
    I'm trying to run the EEO-1 report in 6.0 and I'm getting the error message EEo-4 form does not exist in Table T512P, however from a previous thread I saw to copy the form from client 000 and it still gives the same error. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hi Kenneth,
    Check
    1. PE51
    2. Country Grouping: 10
    3. Form Name: EEO1
    if it exists there, it should appear....

  • Errors in EEO -1 report

    Hi
    Can anyone tell me the reasons for below errors in EEO report.
    Invalid Race or ethnicity:This error is showing for the ethincity Two or More Races.
    No record in Table T5U0P:I checked the table for some PA EEO company ID is maintained for some PA not.
    No Reporting Unit found in T5URU for PA:
    Record could not be found T5UEEO 2010 01
    Please anyone can suggest me on above issues.
    Reagrds
    Vijay

    Hi Vijay,
    Your table entries are incorrect, that is causing the problem, but the data entries in IT0077 may be aligned to the incorrect entries in T505R.  Thus, if you change the table entries to match the ones I have given all, your Hispanics may be classified as American indians on the EEO-1 report!    With 10 days left until the report has to be submitted, not sure how you can do the table correction and data clean-up in that short time.
    The E1 and E2 entries separate out those who are Hispanic and those not.  Only those not Hispanic should have an entry in R1-6.  Thus, your R1 is not needed.  Also, your other entries do not match the mapping for the ethnic groupings that SAP program supplies for the EEO-1 report.  You may have modify the program so your groupings fill the correct columns in the EEO-1 report.  While it is not best practice to change the standard report, copying it to a custom version may be your only option at this point of time.  Then you can work to correct the table and IT0077 entries to reflect the standard SAP solution.
    The other errors on the report indicate that certain Personnel Areas did not have entries in the prior year EEO-1 report.  That is possible if you have new Personnel Areas or they have changed the unit identification number with the EEOC.  When you do make your final EEO-1 report run, you should check the box to "Write results in EEO record".  This will make the entries in T5UEEO for this year that will be used for next year's "Prior year results".  If you did not do this last year, you can rerun the report for the dates last year and check the box.

  • Report pl/sql function body returning query bind variable

    I really like using report with a function returning sql. I have been using something like this
    declare
    q varchar2(10000);
    begin
    q := 'select col1
    from mytable
    .... add a dynamic where clause ....
    return q;
    end;
    But I thought it would be nice to store the query in a bind variable so that I could show the where clause. I tried to create an item P123_Q and do the following:
    declare
    q varchar2(10000);
    begin
    q := 'select col1
    from mytable
    .... add a dynamic where clause ....
    :P123_Q := q;
    return q;
    end;
    But the parser treats :P123_Q as if it is a bind variable within flow 4000. I found a workaround but I'm wondering if there is a better way.
    My workaround is to set a preference in the query and then use a computation that sets P123_Q to the value of the preference:
    declare
    q varchar2(10000);
    begin
    q := 'select col1
    from mytable
    .... add a dynamic where clause l_q := l_q || ....
    HTMLDB_UTIL.SET_PREFERENCE(
    p_preference => 'Q',
    p_value => q,
    p_user => :APP_USER);;
    return q;
    end;
    Any thoughts on another way?
    thanks,
    Anton

      :P1_X := l_sql;

  • Status report from Procedure/functions

    All,
    I have procedures /functions in my database. I need to return a status value back to the call procedures/functions to report the sub_procedure/function executed successfully.
    What is the status value if a procedure/function executed successfully? And what is the value for un_successful execution? Where I can get it from?
    Thanks a lot!

    This is really a design choice that you have to make in your application. PL/SQL stored procedures / functions do not return any implicit status codes on there own. In your PL/SQL code, you can check the SQLCODE built-in function for the status of the last SQL statement executed, but this is hardly the same thing (and really designed for use in exception handlers).
    You may choose to design you applications such that every call must return a status value. In this case, the values used to represent success or failure are up to you (I might suggest 0 for success and the error code - which will be non-zero - for failure). You can either use functions which always return a number (probably not a good idea to place this limitation on your application); you might design all stored procedures to return an output parameter which indicates success or failure.
    But, in general, your client code should be designed to correctly handle all Oracle exceptions - if no exception is raised, then success, else failure. And your PL/SQL should avoid bad practices like exception handlers which trap WHEN OTHERS and don't re-raise the exception.

  • Creating Report using EPM Functions with Dynamic Filters

    Hi All,
    I am new to BPC, In BPC 7.5 i seen like we can generate EPM report using EVDRE function very quickly and easy too. Is the same feature is existing in BPC 10.0 ? if no how can we create EPM reports using EPM Functions with Dynamic Filters on the Members of the dimension like in BPC 7.5.
    And i searched in SDN, there is no suitable blogs or documents which are related to generation of Reports using EPM Functions. All are described just in simple syntax way. It is not going to be understand for the beginners.
    Would you please specify in detail step by step.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Siva Nagaraju

    Siva,
    These functions are not used to create reports per se but rather assist in building reports. For ex, you want to make use of certain property to derive any of the dimension members in one of your axes, you will use EPMMemberProperty. Similary, if you want to override members in any axis, you will make use of EPMDimensionOverride.
    Also, EvDRE is not replacement of EPM functions. Rather, you simply create reports using report editor (drag and drop) and then make use of EPM functions to build your report. Forget EvDRE for now.
    You can protect your report to not allow users to have that Edit Report enabled for them.
    As Vadim rightly pointed out, start building some reports and then ask specific questions.
    Hope it clears your doubts.

  • How can I call a stateful webservice from a user-defined XPath function?

    I'm calling a stateful webservice from a BPEL process using a PartnerLink which implements Custom Header Handler classes to handle the session state, storing the cookie as a property of the PartnerLink.
    I'd also like to call this same stateful webservice, in the same session, from a user-defined XPath function enabling me to call this from an XSL Transformation.
    Is this in any way possible? Can I access the cookie and attach it to the webservice call made by the user-defined XPath function?

    Actually, as long as the servlet returns valid javascript, you can indeed "call it" from the client. It will initiate a request and return the result to the browser.
    This example uses Perl, but it could be easily modified to go to a servlet instead.
    Note that it is only supported in DOM browsers (IE6+/NN6+/etc)

  • How can I use User-Defined Aggregate Functions in Timesten 11? such as ODCI

    Hi
    we are using Timesten 11 version and as per the documentation, it doesn't support User-Defined Aggregate Functions.
    So we are looking for alternatives to do it. Could you please provide your expert voice on this.
    Thanks a lot.
    As the following:
    create or replace type strcat_type as object (
    cat_string varchar2(32767),
    static function ODCIAggregateInitialize(cs_ctx In Out strcat_type) return number,
    member function ODCIAggregateIterate(self In Out strcat_type,value in varchar2) return number,
    member function ODCIAggregateMerge(self In Out strcat_type,ctx2 In Out strcat_type) return number,
    member function ODCIAggregateTerminate(self In Out strcat_type,returnValue Out varchar2,flags in number) return
    number
    How can I use User-Defined Aggregate Functions in Timesten 11? such as ODCIAggregateInitialize ?

    Dear user6258915,
    You absolutely right, TimesTen doesnt support object types (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E13085_01/doc/timesten.1121/e13076/plsqldiffs.htm) and User-Defined Aggregate Functions.
    Is it crucial for your application? Could you rewrite this functionality by using standart SQL or PL/SQL?
    Best regards,

  • XSLT Mapping - user defined Extension function

    Hi to all,
    can somebody helps me, please?
    I need an own function, that can be used by the XSL Mapper. First I have only tried the sample given in Path <BPELPM>\integration\orabpel\samples\demos\XSLMapper\ExtensionFunctions
    There is a java file with the defined functions and a xml file with the definition of this function for the mapper and last but not least a jar-file with the java class.
    I have copied the jar to <JDEV_HOME>\jdev\lib\ext directory and in JDeveloper I have added SampleExtensionFunctions.xml to Tools->Preferences->XSL Map -> "User Defined Extension Functions Config File" field. After a restart of JDeveloper I find 2 new functions in the "User Defined Extension Functions" component palette page when a XSL Map is open. That's fine.
    But if I test the mapping I get an error: "Failed to transform source XML.
    java.lang.NoSuchMethodException: For extension function, could not find method org.apache.xpath.objects.XNodeSet.replaceChar([ExpressionCotext,]#STRING, #STRING)."
    What is wrong?
    Thanks in advance of your answer
    best regard,
    uno

    Oracle XML support Extension function.
    For example:
    If we would like to import FAQDBUri.class with user-defined java functions, like TranslateDBUri(), we can write XSL file like this:
    <xsl:template match="/" xmlns:dburig="http://www.oracle.com/XSL/Transform/java/FAQDBuri">
    <xsl:variable name="urladd" select="dburig:TranslateDBUri($url)"/>

  • Can we define a function in a sub process?

    Hi ,
    I want to know whether we can define a function in a sub-process ? coz I see only notifications defined in the sub_process in seeded oracle workflows .
    also highlight if we are the running the workflow from developer studio do we need call the main process first or the sub-process first ?
    Regards,
    Shashk

    Hello Shashk,
    Yes functions can be used in sub-processes. If you are creating a custom function, it must be defined in a specific fashion to work with WF. See the Workflow Developer Guide for your version. 2.6.2 available here:
    [http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/workflow.920/a95265/toc.htm|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/workflow.920/a95265/toc.htm]
    Not sure about Developer Studio per se but typically you can run any process in a workflow that is marked 'runnable'.
