EEO setup with multiple GRE's associated to Business Group

Hi,
I am looking to setup EEO report for a business group that has multiple GRE's. There are multiple locations rolling up to the GRE.
How can I setup EEO Generic Hierarcy so that I can get each Location as an establishment report and a consolidated report on the GRE.
Parent Org has a Business group classification and the individual GRE have GRE/Legal Entity classification.
If I setup Generic Hierarchy with Business Group Org as a Parent Entity and GRE's as Establishment then all the locations defined are summed up to the Establishment. This does not work for me as I am looking to report on each location as an Establishment.
Alternativeuly I cannot add GRE classification to Business Group Org or Business Group classification to GRE.
Any help woudl be appreciated.
Thanks

Prashant
If you are in R12 then there is no more relation between GRE and Ledger, OU
GRE is independent and only for the HR.
You need to look at the Accounting legal entity which is tied to the ledger, which interm tied to the business group.
If you build global hierarchy in HR, there is no impact on the ledger or to anyother non HR modules.
You can use MOAC for the other modules

  • TLS setup with multiple receiving domains

    Hi,
We have our Ironport setup with about 10 receiving domains. My aim is to set it up so that all email sent and received from a particular domain (client.com) uses TLS. This domain will only send mail to our primary domain (company.com).
I am wondering how the TLS certificate will work with multiple domains? Is that cert just mapped to one email domain? Is a separate cert required for each domain, and so a separate listener for the receive domains that I don't need TLS for?

    Hi Graham,
Yes it will be one certificate per box.
In reagrds to the TLS question you can set the TLS encryption to "Prefered" and take a lookt to the section create content filters for encryption.

  • Ipad setup with multiple users

A group of people are sharing an Ipad at the school I work at.  How should I set up the apple id/itunes password?  I have an apple id and a mac but not everyone who uses it does.

With regard to what? The iPad isn't designed for multiple users in the way that you want to do it. If you switch ID's on the iPad and start downloading past purchases from different ID's, you will end up locking yourself out of some of those ID's for 90 days by associating the device with another ID.
There is no way that you can sync the device to multiple computers either. You might want to read this.
iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID
If you are sharing the iPad in order to read certain textbooks, or surfing the web - or been checking your personal email using a web browser where you can log in and out of you personal email accounts, that is fine for multiple users, but of you want to download content using different Apple ID's. that will create problems.
If you just want to create one Apple ID for everyone to share and you are not going to sync to iTunes at all, just create a free email account that you can all use as the Apple ID email address with one password of your choosing.

  • ICloud setup with multiple devices

I have an iPad, my husband has a Mac and a brand new iPhone. We have been using the same Apple ID and had everything working over iCLoud. We want to share contacts and calendars (pretty much everything except email) and now we would like to utilize iMessage. How should we setup our icloud? THanks

What, exactly, are you trying to do? You can use the same iCloud account on as many devices as you want, as long as you don't turn on iTunes Match. Once you turn on Match, you're limited to 10 devices total.
Is this what you want to do...same iCloud account, but different iTunes/App store accounts on each device? If so, you can do that also.

  • TM setup with multiple HD's

I have a Mac Pro with 4 HD's. I have Leopard installed on first partition of 500 GB HD#2.
HD#1 is OEM 250 GB HD, mostly used with carryover from my 20" iMac. I have Tiger installed on HD#2B, and some DV and HDV files on 750 GB HD #3. Used 750 GB HD#4 to back up with TM.
I have 79.1 GB on HD#2A to back up to HD#4. However, TM backed up all my HD's( other than #4), using 380GB on HD#4!!
How do I select specific HD to use with TM? Can I just delete the HD folders that TM backed-up to HD#4?

Tried to delete unwanted HD folders from HD#4 where TM stored all my HD's.
Ms says HD folder cannot be move to trash-- "cannot be completed because back up items cannot be modified"
How do I start over with TM only backing up specified HD?

  • Migrate itunes from pc to mac with multiple user accounts

I've read the numerous articles on transferring one's itunes library from a windows machine to a mac and I *think* I've got the details sorted (have itunes copy everything and then organize my library, then copy whole folder to external drive). I only have one itunes account but it my full library and itunes account is used across different windows user accounts.
My mac is setup with multiple user accounts and I'd like to have a single library and single itunes account (same apps, etc.,). I'm not quite sure how to migrate the library from windows and then set it up on the mac such that all mac user accounts are sharing the same library and itunes account. Any guidance?
Forgot to mention, have 2 iphones and 1 ipad as well, all attached to the same apple id.

  • Multiple OUs with GPOs - One OU with multiple GPOs and security - One OU with one GPO and item level targeting

    Background...
We have around 30 locations and we need to deliver different GPOs to these locations.
There can be between 3 and 8 PCs in each location.
These PCs can move around at short notice (mainly as a backup with neighbouring locations should
    PCs fail)
The GPOs differ to change printers (2 per location and 2 backup printers from neighbouring location), auto login, desktop wallpaper
Which is in your opinion the best solution for login speed, GPO & device management?
    1) Multiple OUs with a single GPO in each OU, the devices can be moved into new OU when the PCs move
    2) Single OU with multiple GPOs, add devices to security group and use security filtering on the GPOs
    3) Single OU with single GPO, add devices to security group and use item level targeting on the group

    > 1) Multiple OUs with a single GPO in each OU, the devices can be moved

    4) GPMC, Sites, "show sites". Then link appropriate GPOs to each

  • QOS over multiple GREs with different BW's from core perspective

We use gre over ipsec, to connect multiple sites to our core. Many of the site have different BW based on remote site carrier limitations. The BW of some are symetrical, some are DSL.
I have started deploying VOIP at some of these sites, and have begun playing with QOS. I only want to insure voice traffic, and control are passed accordingly, all other traffic can fall into default queue during times of high link usage.
For the remote sites, I have settled on the below config:
    class-map match-any AutoQoS-VoIP-RTP-Trust
    match ip dscp ef
    class-map match-any AutoQoS-VoIP-Control-Trust
    match ip dscp cs3
    match ip dscp af31
    policy-map AutoQoS-Policy-Trust
    class AutoQoS-VoIP-RTP-Trust
    priority percent 70
    class AutoQoS-VoIP-Control-Trust
    bandwidth percent 5
    class class-default
    fair-queue
    interface Tunnel17
    bandwidth 5000
    ip address 192.168.1.66 255.255.255.252
    ip mtu 1500

    keepalive 10 3
    tunnel source x.x.x.x
    tunnel destination x.x.x.x
    interface GigabitEthernet0/0
    bandwidth 5000
    ip address x.x.x.x 255.255.255.240
    service-policy output AutoQoS-Policy-Trust
(only the part of the config related to QOS is included to protect the innocent!)
My question is, how do I apply a similiar config at the core end, where I have multiple GRE interfaces, with different corresponding bandwidths? I tried to apply the service-policy to the tunnel interface, but it does not accept the command because of the queuing type.
    Thanks in advance.

Another update, I have applied the follwoing config to my core ipsec router, on which 2 of the 19 gre tunnels have a VOIP solution at the far end. I am not seeing matches to the associated access lists, should I only see matches when the limit hits the shaper figure in the policy map?

  • ITunes setup on a NAS with multiple windows users - how?

iTunes setup on a NAS with multiple windows users?
I am very confused on what is the best way to handle this setup for my friends family.  Any help would be appreciated.  Sorry in advance as I know this is a long winded post - I have a feeling this will help others faced with the same issues or questions.
    CURRENT SETUP
I have three new Windows 7 machines networked (two desktops and one laptop) that have four users on each - as busy family with children who need the computers for homework, projects, games, etc...  The goal of this setup is that any user can log onto any computer and have there documents available to them no matter computer was free to use.  I set this up using the library function in Windows 7 and seems to work pretty well.
I have put a Buffalo Linkstation NAS on the system as well.  This was going to serve two purposes 1)  run some backup software to protect the computers and 2) consolidate the iTunes content in one place for all users.  There is also an iPad in the home that I should would be better served by accessing the content on the NAS without requiring any of the computers being on.  Dave is thinking about getting some other playback devices like Apple TV so thought a NAS would be a good way to go.
CURRENT ITUNES SETUP - I have created a new iTunes library on the NAS by holding the SHIFT button down while starting iTunes and pointed to that folder on a Share on the NAS.  There was no music on the system at the time as we are planning to copy this over from an OLD machine that is now not being used.  I have also authorized all the computers and turned on the home sharing feature (although I am not sure what good that does).
This “shift” button trick seesm to also point the default directory there without point to it in the advanced setup tab of iTunes.
I then synced one of the iPods with purchased content on it and synced that to the library after asking me to do so before an update.  All the content showed up in the library and was playable - awesome.
I then logged into each user on each machine (yikes) and installed iTunes  and used the “shift” trick to connect each users iTunes to the database on the NAS.  Everything seems to work - but I have not tested it thoroughly.
    SUMMARY
3 new Windwos 7 networked machines
4 identical users on each machine
    1 TB Buffalo linkstation
iTunes setup with the folder on a SHARE
all user’s itunes connected to the iTunes folder on the NAS
all computers authorized with home sharing turned on.
one iTunes user account signed in on each machine
multiple iPods and one iPad in the system
    QUESTIONS/CONCERNS
Is there a better way to do this on a NAS?
Would home sharing be better in some way?
I understand the NAS should show up under the shared section in iTunes - I assume that would mean that would mean each user has an iTunes library on their documents?
I have read that there may be corruption issues if users on the different machines try to access iTunes at the same time.
Will there be any issues syncing that various iPods with?
Ugh - sorry for the long post and all the questions.  I am just trying to find the best way to do this.  I wish Apple would put out a best practices document for setups like this.  Thanks in advance.

This is a user to user support forum. Your fellow users can offer solutions or workarounds based on their experience with the application. If you think it should work differently drop a line to iTunes Feedback.
For reasons unknown Apple haven't chosen to allow iTunes to be suspended in one profile and active in another. My recollection is that this applies even if each profile has a different library, although it is some time since I've committed a personal test.
I'm not sure why my suggestion make less sense that your current approach?. As I understand it currently everybody is either signed into their own account when they can do something other than work with iTunes, or they sign into the special iTunes account where they can't access any of their other stuff. You don't have to disable fast user switching. Follow exactly the same steps, but make sure everyone closes iTunes before turning the computer over to another user. Disabling fast user switching helps to enforce that action.

  • HT4137 iCloud setup with one Apple ID and multiple devices

iCloud setup with one Apple ID and multiple devices

What, exactly, are you trying to do? You can use the same iCloud account on as many devices as you want, as long as you don't turn on iTunes Match. Once you turn on Match, you're limited to 10 devices total.
Is this what you want to do...same iCloud account, but different iTunes/App store accounts on each device? If so, you can do that also.

  • HT204053 Can I have multiple apple ids associated with one itunes acct?

When using iCloud with multiple devices (my kids phones, computers and mine), syncing causing all sorts of problems like losing contacts & info between devices. Is there any way to create an apple id for each person but still use the same iTunes account?

yes you can still sync all the devices on itunes using one master itunes/appleID account.
    Music:
If you want to select specific playlists for your kids, DON'T enable iTunes Match on their devices, otherwise they will get ALL the playlists on their devices (learned that the hard way)
If you have wi-fi synced enabled that should still work.
    Apps:
I manually select which apps they get on their devices using itunes. It only changes when they re-sync.
Don't enable AUTO downloads on their devices for Apps or Music purchases.
Since I also have young kids using these devices:
I have restrictions setup on their devices. I don't allow them to install/delete apps, nor do I allow them to make any account changes on their devices. This way their devices stay in order and get backed up to icloud. I can easily restore their devices if I needed too.
Once in a while I will disable the restrictions so I can update all their apps.
    Hope this helps!

  • Validation Associated with Multiple Items?

I have six textbox items on my page. I have a function that validates whether all the six values belong to a specific criteria. If all of them pass the validation, I set a flag to 1. If any of the values does not pass the validation, I set the flag to 2. I need to display an error message inline with all the six fields if my flag is set to 2. But, as far as my understanding goes, in Apex, one validation can be associated with only 1 item. Is there any workaround?

I am not 100% sure, but I think this is not possible. Either you have a item level validation
for each item separately or you have a page level validation. Item validation displays the
error inline with field if you want so. Page level validation can be associated only with one
item but not with multiple items. So, you need six validations indeed.
