Effective Price Update in PIR

Dear All,
in my Purchase Info Record,
My net value is 100 Rs,
Effectice Price is 100 Rs..
But now when i am creating PO and change my price...
It shows warning Message that effective price is 2000 Rs.
I have also checked Update Info Box in PO...
But still the Effective price in PIR does not change.
Can you all tell me how Efffective Price in PIR changes and on what basis? ? /
Regards,

Hi
PIR effectivce price can be updated with Quotation price only. You can update with po price.PO price will be updated in PIR as PO order price history.

  • Effective price doubled in PIR

    Hi,
Whenevr the condition PB00 is updated with a price, the effective price gets updated with doublt the amount. For ex: if Net price= 100 then Eff price = 200. What could be the possible reasons for this? But it gets updated with the correct amount when RM06INP0 is run.
    Thanks

    Hello Prabhu
This is a customized supplementry pricing procedure. When I replace this with the standard one RM0002, the effective price is getting updated properly. Only with this customized one is it doubled.
Could you please tell m ewhat are the points I can check for correctness in this customized procedure. How are these fields subtotal, Step, Statistical etc. are used? I would like to learn something about pricing procedure with this issue.
Thanks very much for you help

  • Effective Price being calculated as double of Net Price in PIR

Effective Price in PIR is being calculated as twice of Net Price.
i.e Net Price = 100 (as we enter the price in the condition)
Effective Price = 200 ( I don't understand how this is being calculated)
When I create Purchase Order using the same PIR as reference the price remains as 100. (Then why is Effective Price 200 in PIR?)
I have noticed that this problem is with a particular Pricing schema.
In case i use standard schema, the Effective Price remains 100.
Can anyone tell, where i should look??
    Appreciate your help!

    Hi,
According to your requirement I have observed that u might have maintained conditions records for the condition types withe combination different fields,I mean to say that u might maintained two or more than 2 condition tables and maintained prices.according to given priority given in condition tables(exclusive indicator),system takes the price. For example if you maintained  three condition tables, and exclusive indicator has been selected for the two tables in access sequence.system gives priority from top to bottom like wise.....just try....

  • PIR Net Price & Effective Price different from Condtion price

    Hi,
PIR has been created on 19/05/2009 with validity of 19/05/2009 to 27/07/2009 for Amt 78.5 USD and one more condition has been created with validity of 28/07/2009 to 31/12/2009 for amt 76.93 USD
But Net price and effective price on PIR shown as old amt that is 78.5 USD which is wrong..it should show the current price that is 76.93 USD
When tried creating PO, its picking up correct price of 76.93 USD
Please help me to understand why net price and effective price is not changed though the condtion effective date price is different?

    Hi
If you maintain multiple validity period than the PIR will show the price which you created first.
But the during the transactions the price will be picked based on the price date category which you can maintain in Vendor master or PIR. Based on the price date category system will pick the price automatically from the PIR to PO or GR posting etc.,
    Hope it helps.
    Thanks / Karthik

  • Updating net price in ECC PIR to update MDM catalog price

    Hi Experts,
We are using ECS in SRM 7  , and ECC 6
We have done a workaround and we push our ECC PIR to MDM catalog, The SRM requesters pick the material from the catalog, and the vendor and vendor price gets attached in the SRM SC.
We want that the net price in ECC PIR should change as per the last PO. Once this net price changes in the PIR, this price will go to the MDM catalog and will update the price , so that the requester can create the SC with latest price.
Therefore, please suggest me ways to change my ECC PIR net price as per the last PO
    Rgds
    sumendra

    Hi Jason,
We have been able to acheive the functionality. We have written written an enhancement in program of meccm ECC t-code, which enable to pick up the price .
    The logic is :
If there is no entry in table EIPA for a info-record number and P. Org, Info record extraction program RM06CCMEXP (T code Meccm  ) in ECC , should send the net price field (EINE-NETPR)
If there is are any entries in table EIPA for a info-record number and P. Org, Info record extraction program RM06CCMEXP (T code Meccm  ) in ECC should loop in the EIPA table, select last entry and send the Net price field (EIPA-PREIS)
    Thanks

  • Net price update in creation of the purchase order

    Guys,
I have a query, please find the details below.
I have created a ABAP for posting the purchase orders using the BAPI function 'BAPI_PO_CREATE1', I am passing the net price value in the input file. But the system is taking the net price from the purchase info record of that material. My own net price is not considered.
    Please find my observations below.
    1. First of all system is checking whether there is a PIR maintained for the material or not. If PIR is maintained, then system is defaultly considering the net price maintained in the PIR.
    2. Later I have deleted the net price maintained in PIR. In this case, system is considering the net price of that material from the previous purchase order.
But my query is that I don't want the system to consider the net price from previous material, I want to update my own net price to line item of the PO.
Could anyone please suggest me how should I proceed further so solve this query?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Vijaymadhur.

    Hi,
Yes, this can be achieved. Don't maintain any price in inforecord. Then in SPRO > Materials Management > Purchasing > Environment Data > Define default value for buyers > Here click on settings on default values > In Inforecord update > Maintain no update fro PO and quotation.
Now the last PO price will not be saved in Inforecord and hence this will not b carried to PO.

  • Purchase and Effective price

    Hi
After updating purchase price, what is the transaction for calculation of effective price?
Whether we can change effective price in ME1M?
    Thanks and Regards

I suggest you ask that question in an MM forum, not in a database forum.

  • Price updation for Partial delivered case

    Dear All,
I raised an invoice for 5 qty out of 10 nos from the sale order.
Now I want to sell the balance qty with updated price. I changed the price through VK12.
I changed the pricing date to current date in the sale order to effect the updated price in the sale order for the balance qty.
Since the item is partially delivered even though the pricing date is not getting updated for that item & the price remains same as older one.
Pls advise me on this issue.
    Rgds,
    Senni.B

    Hi Seeni,
Lakshmi's has correctly stated above that repricing will not happen in sales order, but the repricing can happen in billing.
Now for repricing to happen in billing you will have to change your pricing type to B in copy control. Also as stated by you the billing date is to be set to current date will solve. Thats not completely true, you will have to change the pricing date in the invoice to current date then only it will do the repricing for current date. The billing date is for accounting purposes for Invoice due dates.
So to set the pricing date to current date, you will have to ensure that the pricing date is not present in the copy control routines and also in the definition of billing type change the pricing date to current date.
    Hope this helps,
    Abhishek

  • Prevent Inforecord price update in Contract

Hi,  We have a requirement to prevent inforecord price update when creating a contract.  Currently the system automatically populates the price when a contract is created.
We basically want no price to be pulled from the inforecord even if there is a price maintained in Inforecord purchasing org. data.  There are posts on how to prevent inforecord price update in PO but I couldnt find one for contracts.
Appreciate any help from SAP Gurus....!!!
    Thanks

    Hi Paddy,
if I well get you there is 2 issues.
One is the update of the PIR (info rec) when your create the contract.
for this you should look into contract item details there should be a flag info rec update to remove (same in PO)
Second is the only use of contract for pricing.
One easy way would be to set the standard SAP msg :
06-042 Target value of contract & exceeded by & &
with E for error so that no PO is aloowed if contract exist. Another way would be to review your pricing procedure. Have the automatic price cond. type reviewed with a new acc seq that would not take into account the PIR (info rec).
    Hope this helps!
    cheers

  • Not able to view actual Price updated 'Value' in Change Tracker

I was able to get my Change tracker to work and it is functioning. (SRM 5.0 MDM5.5 )... Configured Portal iViews for change tracker.
If I change a description I can see it in the change tracker application. But if I try and track a Price change it only shows me a date-time  and user as to I when the price was changed it doesnu2019t show me the actual value changed, for my audit purposes.
On the portal the change tracker "Field" dropdown shows -> Price Updated. this is what is tracking any change of price.
In MDM Console-> Admin->Change Tracker I am tracking under Catalog Items: Price information, Price Updated, Special search terms, long description.
When I look at the Data manager in the Record Detail, I see  u2018Price Updatedu2019 and it only has a Date and time stamp. In this same Record Detail,  I see the field Price Information that contains :Lower bound, Purchasing Info record ID, Purchasing Organization, Amount and Currency.  Amount-> contains the actual price value. This is what i want to see in the portal iView as Old value and New value....this is what I am unable to view? theres one small step i am not doing...
I am trying to track the actual change in the filed u2018Amountu2019u2026 I have tried to search for it in the Portal iView fields (table, record contains, fields, record)
    cheers
    alex

    Hi Alex,
I would not here comment on change Tracking functionality but can you suggest another workaround to achieve this requirement. If it fits in your requirement you can go ahead with it.
In MDM, Create another field in Main table say Initial Price and for already existing field Amount replace its name with Updated Price in Qualified table Price.
now after this you will see that your by default Updated Price has values as it was your Amount field earlier and Initial Price field as empty. Now for next time, if any record comes using Import Manager then MDM workflow should trigger at Record Import.
    This workflow contains following steps.
    Start(Checkout)>Assign>Stop(CheckIn)
Assign step should have below expression and assignment:
    Price Information.Updated Price
Where I am assuming Price Information is the field in main table which is look up to this qualified table Price.
So in this way you can maintain both existing and updated values of Price and cant then show in your Catalog.
suppose you have already existing record say 1 which has value of Amount as 20.
So that means you have Updated Price as 20 and Initial Price as empty(Null)
Now when same record 1 updates with new Amount say 40, it triggers this workflow on record import which will then assign value of existing updated Price 20 to Initial Field after that Updated Price will update by 40.
Note: This Assignment works well only if your main table record has this Qualified table link as single record. If your main table record contains more than one qualified links then this Assignment would not work fine. So use only if it fits.

  • While creating po, the vendor material no should updated in PIR.

    hi all,
    i am facing one issue
the issue is, while creating po, we can search the material no according to vendor material no, but when we change the vendor material no in po item details in material tab and save the PO, that is updated in the PIR, if we tick the box(info update), that means the new no is update in PIR,
but suppose i entered the wrong no, so i want to edit that field again. but the new assigned no is not updating the PIR  though i have checked the check box(info update)
that means, PIR is updating once but not second time. what is the possible solution.
    regards,
    susanta
Edited by: susanta bindhani on Jun 26, 2008 8:27 AM

    hi pankaj,
    read the issue perfectly,
supoose i have created PO, i have entered in the field of vendor material no-123, ok. and i tick the box(update PIR).
then i save the Po, i saw the change in PIR- 123
after i gone to change mode- me22n, thr, i again change the vendor material no to 456, ok, and i save the PO, then i saw it in PIR,
but no change. the field no is showing -123.
my question is why PIR is not updating second time only once.
pls give me some suggesion, my client need it urgantly.
    regards,

  • Price update in Scheduling Agreement

    Dear Gurus,
I am seeking valuable suggestions reg the price update in scheduling agreement.
I am aware of the fact the the same can be done in the below mentioned ways-
    1) Manually
    2) Through condition records
I would be seeking the best possible option to the update the price in scheduling agreements, options would be
    1) Manually @ item level
    2) Changing condition records ( VK12) with same validity period
    3) Changing condition records ( Vk12) with new validity period ( closing the old validity period)
This is because to avoid any inconsistency in the future.
    Regards,
    Ajit

    Dear Ajit,
    1.Manual entry -
Manual entry will be applicable in only some cases and you cant able to track if some one has changed the price and it is having limitation .
    2.through condition records-
where as if you maintain the price through the access sequence and user cant able to change the price manually and for different combination and different material you can maintain different prices .here there is no limitation and you can extend this price for different combination in future .
Based on the above points you take decision.

  • PR Price update incorrectly with SO Price

    Hi All,
I am working on a weird issue. Please help me.
    1.     SO price change will reflect in PR valuation price that working fine. But if I change the price of only one item like only for item no 1o and don't touch any other item.  In this case the SO item 10 price update to all PR item 10, 20, etc.
    2.     If I change price of item 10 and take a look at price(via item details->Schedule line->Purchase req) of 10,20 and 30 then the price updated to all PR item correctly.
Please help me to resolve the issue.

  • Stop price update of  delivered but un-invoiced (non-invoiced) line items

    Hi Gurus,
I need some help regarding price update of line items which are delivered but not invoiced yet.
    Case 1:
I am calling the FM 'BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE' and passing the line item (say 10) whose price needs to be updated. This line item is neither delivered nor invoiced. Result, correct change of price for line item 10.
    Case 2:
In the above order, i am adding another line item (say 30), which is completely delivered, but I have not yet created an invoice for it. I want that this line item's price should not be changed (as delivery is already created for it). So, in my price update report, I check and filter this line item (10) and pass only line item 30 to the BAPI. Result: not only line item 30 but line item 10 also gets updated with new price!!
    Case 3:
I created a new line item(40) and created an invoice for it after completely delivering it. When I call the BAPI now, I again filter the line items 30 and 40 and pass only line item 10 which i want to be updated.
    Result:
Line item 10 - updated with new price
Line item 30 - updated with new price
Line item 40 - not updated
    Requirement:
Any line item that is completely delivered should not be updated with the new price regardless of it having an invoice or not.
    Assumptions:
I am running a custom report to find the line items that need change and calling the BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE and passing those line items to update the price.
    Problem faced:
This process is updating all line items in the SO that are not invoiced regardless of weather I am passing it to the BAPI or not
As far as i know, the checking of the invoice is in some standard program, and hence had debugged the BAPI and got the FM SD_SALES_DOCUMENT_SAVE which in my opinion is doing the change. But on further debugging I lost track of the tables which were holding the data as the code is flowing through a number of user exits and standard forms.
    Please help!

    Hi Soumyo,
In Pricing Update screen, you will find pricing type X, Y and Z which you can use to define your own pricing update scenarios.  Check OSS note 24832. This note provides enough details about each of the update pricing options and also explains on how to use pricing update X, Y, and Z.  Let me know if you need any more help on this.
