EHP4 install has error at PARCONV_UPG converting table

Hello,
We have started the Downtime step of the EHP4 installation in our DEV
system and the PARCONV_UPG phase stops when trying to convert a table.
The table is a customer table which has two fields that used to have a CHAR datatype and now have a INT1 data type. The
table is partially active. The table does not exist at the database level. These two fields have two records which contain character data instead of numeric data.
Has anyone hit the issue before?

This problem is resolved. The problem occurred because the field types had changed and the table was only partially active. It still contained character data in the field at the database level. The original table did not exist at the database level becuase it aleady been renamed to a temporary QCM table for conversion. The solution was as follow:
1 - Backup the table data from QCM/<tablename> (this table name can be found in SE14 --> Analyze)
2 - Clean the "bad" entries from this table (using sqlplus for oracle) and continue with adjustments in SE14
3 - Repeat the phase PARCONV_UPG

Hi,
There are no Inactive objects in the cube in DEV system. Also must of the changes I made in Test are already in the cube in TEST But the cube is not active.
SAP proposed that the cube be activated manually but is not a good procedure to activate in TEST system.

Diagnosis
Errors arose when activating InfoCube ZCRUSDI02. An active version already existed before the activation.
System Response
InfoCube ZCRUSDI02 could not be reset to the old active version. Since the generated objects no longer correspond to the old active version, they were reset to inactive.
Procedure
The old active version of InfoCube ZCRUSDI02 can no longer be used. Remove the cause of the activation error and activate InfoCube ZCRUSDI02 anew.

Bridge worked great for a while then started to fail when starting. Old Bridge CS6 still works fine. HELP ... please.

That installer error is a "Can't open file" error
It suggest that you may have a corrupt file.
Try running a disk check

If it fixes errors try uninstalling iTunes again.
If that doesn't work, is it possible for find out the name of the problem file, is further information available? Try looking in your Action center - that's on the control panel. Another place is in the Windows Error logs. From the start menu , right click on "Computer" and select manage, then Event viewer.
If nothing emerges, try a manual uninstall of iTunes and related programs according to this method:

Don't worry if an uninstall fails, that is expected. Go on to the part where you have to delete files (2. Verify iTunes etc completely deleted) . Hopefully you manage to find a file that can't be deleted, that is the one we will need to deal with.

ERP 6.0 to EHP4 - SHADOW_IMPORT_INC - Duplicate Error in table SPROXYDAT~

During the upgrade with EHPI in phase SHADOW_IMPORT_INC (Imports included Add-on and Support Packages into the shadow tables and the new tables) i've got the following error:
SHADOW IMPORT ERRORS and RETURN CODE in SAPK-604DZINISUT.KT2

This error led me to sapnote 886682 - proxy inkonsistencies
I followed the note and executed the report sxiveri_proxy_hashid_check, which found double entries in table SPROXDAT. I have deleted the redundant entries but it didn't help when I restart the step.
Has anyone an Idea?

Five hours later the job ended successfully. Sapnote 886682 was the right decision.

Try to delete all content (format by clean install), then you can install Mavericks, however I think its better to add mavericks into External fladh drive (USB)

Assuming that you are in Win (which you haven't said), you can try using this tool to first remove all traces of previous versions of Reader:

Then, download the full offline Reader installer from
http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
and run it immediately after restarting your computer.

Installing agent on x64 windows server to grid has error

It seem like this server x64 is on a different LAN than the others which is why I think its not working, any suggestion to make it work?

but if I continue, it wouldn't see it right correct? I cancel the installation. the x64 server is outside our firewall.

hi, I was able to install after your suggestion but now the agent is not uploading, I secure it and the status is below: On the grid page, the server is not showing up.

What MacBook Pro model do you have? Check the apple, left side of the menu bar, About This Mac, More Info, System Report, Hardware and then the Model Identifier...has to be at least MacBook Pro3,1 to install Mavericks.

ORA-28113 policy predicate has error when created VO with some tables

When I created a VO with just SQL statements(no EO), if the sql statements included some special tables or views such as:
hz_locations
oe_order_headers_v
when testing the validation of the sql statement, I encountered the following errors:
SQL Query Error Message: ORA-28113 policy predicate has error
and I can't continue to create this VO.
Does JDeveloper have some special rules to check some tables or views behind the scenes?
I used the apps/apps to connect and the following sql to create the VO:
select state from hz_locations
Can anyone give some help?

Thanks for your prompt response.
I find the solution and would like to share with all.
As I guessed, this is related to the policy.Execute the following sql:
select * from dba_policies where object_name ='hz_locations'
you'll find the point.
So I run policy manager with oracle database client, and find the policy related to the table 'hz_locations' , and disable this policy.
At this time, with the original sql:
select * from hz_locaitons
created VO and everything goes fine and passed the validation.
But in fact I wondered if this is the best workaround for this issues.
If anyone has the same problem, you can refer to my solution.
If you have better solution, also let me know.

Hi Penny,
Your suggested solution worked.
However i got other errors and so i ran apxremov.sql to cleanup the installation.
Forgot to mention that there was a previous installation of apex.
After rerunning apexins.sql installation was completed succesfully.
