Description: An operation failed because the following certificate has validation errors.
i have tried the following things:
1. generate the SharePoint root certificate and import to all server trusted root certificate authorities and intermediate certificate authorities folders. i have imported
OWA site SSL certificate to this two folders also.
2. added the below following code in SharePoint site web.config file <system.net>
<settings>
<servicePointManager checkCertificateName=”false” checkCertificateRevocationList=”false” />
</settings>
3. added the certificates(Root Certificate and OWA SSL) to SharePoint central admin -> security -> manage trust
the above scenarios are not helping. i am in critical stage in my installation. please help me to resolve this issue.
Thanks,
Arun P

I am experiencing this exact same issue.  Anxious to see the fix for this.  I have seen others post similar issues but I can't clearly understand how it's remediated.

  • Lock Screen Group Policy - Error code 0X80070002

    Hi
I'm trying to update the workstation policy (2008R2) to show a new Lock Screen for our users.
    I have two policies:
    -Windows 7 Workstation Policy
    -Windows 8.1 Workstation Policy
It was no problem for our Windows 7 machines.
    Windows 8.1 however wouldn't change.
The picture downloads successfully to the client directory I specified in the policy, resolution and size are ok.
I've tried deleting the sysdata folder on test machines (This left me with a blue lock screen, but still better than what they chose ;)
I've tried default and unique filenames, and different folder locations under 'Force A Specific Lock Screen'
    I've disabled/enabled 'Force a Specific Lock Screen'
I came across this warning on the client test machine:
The computer 'backgroundDefault.jpg' preference item in the 'Win8.1 Policy}' Group Policy Object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x80070002 The system cannot find the file specified.' This error was suppressed

    Hi ,
Can you please post the gpresult report here? And also ensure there is no policy processing failure in the problematic machines. That you can verify by seeing the gpsvc logs.

  • Power Saver Fatal Error code: 0x2 - Equium A100-147

    Hey,
I've just formatted my HDD and re installed windows xp home. Been downloading drivers and all was going well untill power saver. After I installed it I got a message saying +A Fatal error has occurred. This program will be terminated. code: 0x2+ I tryed to uninstall power saver but got the same message and it would not let me uninstall. What should I do? Any help would be amazing.
    Thanks

I bought the Recovery disk from here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOSHIBA-A100-147-LAPTOP-RECOVERY-RESTORE-DISK-DVD-CD_W0QQitemZ270292058022QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item27 0292058022&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A130 1|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318
Formatted HDD when prompted and ran the restoration disk. When I restarted my laptop it did the normal windows loading then after it the screen went blank and stayed like that. I then started up in safe mode and it told me "The system is not fully installed. Please run setup again." then restarts when I click OK. Any ideas how I can fix this, and if I have to get a new recovery cd where can I get them. Because I called Toshiba and they don't make them anymore so I can't get hold of them there :(

    Hi all,

    Hi ,
Most probably you are experiencing this problem because you have not configured the necessary WS client policy il or because you have configured a WS client policy which is not compatible with the server-side WS policy.
Check whether you have configure the client policy, if not  set the necessary WS client policy

  • Error Code 36 =36

Hello every one, my name is mike and lately I have been getting the error code 36>=36 everytime reboot my phone. Since I have been receiving this code a few odd thing have been happening. For instance, my phone contact book, last night it just emptied, and my phone battery dies rediculously fast. I can watch my phone go from half full, to empty skipping everything between. I have no idea what is causing this, all help is appreciated.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!!
There's pretty much no diagnosing those -- they are the equivalent of the random errors in Windows for which tracing the root cause is fruitless. Basically, these are the last out in the programming code -- some event occurred for which there is no handler in the code. The fix is a code update that handles the event...but, again, knowing what the event is is pretty much impossible. So, there are a few things to try:
Sometimes, the code simply becomes corrupt and needs to be refreshed -- just like a reboot:
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
If it won't boot up cleanly, then you may need to try Safe Mode:
KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in safe mode
There might be an updated code set from the carrier -- check them via this portal:
     http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
The toughest possible cause is a badly behaving app. To find it, there are a couple of options. One is to see if you can read the log file:
Go to the home screen. Hold down the "alt" key and type 'lglg'. (You will not see anything while you type). This will bring up the log file. Scroll down (probably many pages) untill you see a line that says 'uncaught execption'. Click on this line. The name of the app will be in the info. Alternative methods for bringing up the logs are in this KB:
KB05349How to enable, access, and extract the event logs on a BlackBerry smartphone
The other method is to remove apps one at a time, waiting a while in between (I usually recommend a week), until the problem ceases...thereby discovering the offending app. Still another method is to reload the BB OS cleanly, leaving some time between adding other apps onto the BB so as to be able to determine exactly which one is the cause.
Good luck and let us know!

  • Error code on YouView YVM103

Have been getting this code for days.  Have rebooted many times and did a factory reset today.  Still getting the same error code.  Can't connect to the BT HomeHub although it is working fine for laptops etc.  So annoying as I would love to be able to watch OnDemand TV on a rainy bank holiday.  Engineer is coming but not until Thu - any ideas to solve this very welcome.

How are you connected to the hub. Is it wired , are you using powerline adapters or are you trying it wireless.

  • Power Saver code: 0x2

    Hello
I have a Toshiba SM30-404. I updated from win xp home to win xp professionall (new installation) and now i cant start the powersaver, i get error code 0x2 when i try to start the power saver(occurs when the installation is finished and i try to start it for the firt time).
I tried new installation, killed (fromated) my harddrive completly, downloaded all xp patches and the power saver from the toshiba site... i am desperate this is for 2 weeks now... Anyone know about this?

    Hi
It is very important to install Common modules before Power saver installation. Did you done this?

  • Acrobat X Pro: Check for Updates Error 1007 Updates have been disabled by your system policy

Because of another Acrobat problem (I won't go into here), today I uninstalled Acrobat Pro 10.1.9 and re-installed Acrobat 10.0.0. I thought I could get back to 10.1.9 by selecting "Check for Updates" after installation. My system is Win7x64 and I'm running as a named user with Administrator rights on a machine that is not part of domain.
When I select "Check for Updates", I receive a window titled "Adobe Acrobat Updater" that says "Update failed Updates have been disabled by your system policy. Error: 1007 <Close>" About ten seconds later, Acrobat X terminates, leaving this window hanging around.
What do I do to enable checking for updates?

Thanks Bill@VT and LeoAdobeX. It's still not working though.
Over the last few days, Windows System Restore says I have done 4 (four) Remove/Install Pairs. I tried the helpful cleaner you suggested. I knew I probably had some Acrobat9 cruft, so I ran the Acrobat9 and Reader9 cleaners, then the AcrobatX cleaner (I never had ReaderX). I also uninstalled absolutely every Adobe program from my system: Flash Player (three versions), iFilter, Adobe AIR, Amazon Music Importer (relies on Adobe AIR).
I tried it both as 10.0.0, and installing 10.0.0 and then the 10.1.9 MSP you pointed me to at the "update link" above. I installed as "Trial" mostly, but once with my registration key.
Starting up Acrobat X still fails epically. Also, every time I've looked, it hasn't solved the "other Acrobat problem" that initiated all of this.
The most that I've received from Acrobat X today is the splash screen came up once. Only once. Even after a restart of Windows 7, launching AcrobatX from the Start Menu, Desktop or even directly from the EXE under "Program Files (x86) does nothing. I thought it might just be slow the last time, so I took a 15 minute coffee break after attempting to launch. Nothing.
Ergo, I am looking at Windows System Restore. I miss two days of not being able to read PDF's even if the "other Acrobat problem" remains.
However, I got a whiff that I have another problem headed my way. I bought update version of Acrobat9 and AcrobatX. I've now wiped all traces of Acrobat9 (and will shortly do another wipe of AcrobatX). The Cleaner log reports "** Info : Installed product not found for upgrade code". The MyAdobe website has all my install codes back to Acrobat4, but I'm not sure I could locate my Adobe 4 CDROM or the intervening CDROM's that would be required to source me back to a full version (maybe Acrobat6?).
As I understand it, System Restore will do many things but not actually install the program files that I've been writing and deleting from my disk over the last two days. So, I'm going to have to do some install of AcrobatX after I do the System Restore and I now have little hope that even that installation will work to "just put things back the way they were".
Is AcrobatX supported on Windows7x64 Ultimate? Is there some place to track down what may be the "issues due to the 64-bit system"?
I have checked the policies under Control Panel->Administrator and there is more to check there. My account is a member of Administrators, which I would think would give me the rights to do just about anything, but when I click on the "Local Security Policy" shortcut, I get a "Group Policy Error: Failed to open the Group Policy Object on this computer. You may not have the appropriate rights. <Close> Details: Unspecified error". I'll chase this down if the System Restore does not make this error go away, but this part is clearly not a problem with Adobe software. All of the Other Admin/MMC Tools like Computer Management open fine.
Thank you very much for the responses. I found them to be very helpful but I still feel I've got a big problem ahead.

  • TS1368 I cannot connect to the iTunes Store.  I receive Error Code -1202.  This problem began yesterday.  I have been successfully connecting to the store for months on this PC.  I am running Windows 7 and the Windows Security Center.  Thanks for any help

I am unable to connect to the iTunes Store.  This issue began yesterday, 3/11/13.  I previously have been able to connect to the store successfully on this computer which runs Windows 7 and Security Center since November.  I also used the iTunes Store on my previous computer for several years.  I am able to connect to the store with my new iPod Touch 5th generation.  I did a Google search for Error Code -1202 but did not find any pertinent results.  I would greatly appreciate any assistance in troubleshooting this situation.  Thank you!

  • My iPod Classic 120GB is clicking and not turning on. It has been charged but does not hold charge. I am not able to restore factory settings. Error code and have tried troubleshooting options without success. Thoughts?

My iPod Classic 120GB makes a clicking noise when syncing with iTunes and will not sync. It will not turn on at this time and has been charged but does not hold the charge. After trying to sync, iTunes states that iPod must be restored. Have tried to do this but not successful, I receive an error code and have done the troubleshooting steps for the error and I am still not able to sync or use my iPod. HELP?

    Hi mafiose15,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Restoring your iPod to factory settings is the best way to try and get it back to working order. You can use the instructions below to restore it:
    How to restore iPod
Verify that you have an active Internet connection, because you may need to download new versions of the iTunes and iPod Software.
Download and install the latest version of iTunes if necessary.
Open iTunes. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB or FireWire cable that came with your iPod.
After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
Select your iPod in the Source panel. You will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes window.
    Click Restore.
If you are using a Mac, you will be asked to enter an administrator’s name and password.
A progress bar will appear on the computer screen, indicating that stage one of the restore process has begun. When this stage is done, iTunes will present one of two messages with instructions specific to the iPod model you are restoring.
Disconnect iPod and connect it to iPod Power Adapter (typically applies to older iPod models).
Leave iPod connected to computer to complete restore (typically applies newer iPod models).
During stage two of the restore process, the iPod displays an Apple logo as well as a progress bar at the bottom of the display. It is critical that the iPod remain connected to the computer or iPod power adapter during this stage.
Note: The progress bar may be difficult to see, because the backlight on the iPod display may be off.
After stage two of the restore process is complete, the iTunes Setup Assistant window will appear. It will ask you to name your iPod and choose your syncing preferences, as it did when you connected your iPod for the first time.
You can find the instructions in this article:

    All the best,
