EJB developing in using NWDS with JDI

i created EJB for client java proxy before creating DC.
but i can not check-in it.
do i have to create New DC? and then do i have to create EJB inside DC? or SC?
if i have 10 EJB and 10 EAR source in NWDS, do i have to create 10 DC for 10 EJB and then 10 DC for 10 EAR?
please guide me how to work in using NWDS with DC and DTR for CMS.
i just want to use NWDS with JDI in order to manage source
thanks

hi,
you mean it's better moving my EJBs i created into one DC?
i can not move my EJB in NWDS to new one DC
how can i do that?
actually i developed 30 EJB in using NWDS without CMS, i have deployed those ejb to SDM via NWDS directly but now i am tring to use DTR in CMS.
so using DTR, do i have to <b>develope in DC</b> for developing EJB?  or develope EJB without DC and then can i move it into DC? is it right concept?
please drop me on right direction
thanks

  • Import the existig Development Components using NWDS

    Hello Portal Developers,
I have a query and need your help to resolve it.
I would like to import the existing Developed Components (DCs) from portal.
How can it be done? Can i use the NWDS to import the existing DCs.
Your earlier help will be very much Appriciated.
    Thanks in Advance
    Regards

    Hi srinivas reddy ,
You must have the NWDI for importing the existing DC's into your NWDS. If u don't have NWDI configured, you can not get that back to NWDS. Instead you can open the DC which you deployed before and modify them and redeply.
    reward points if useful

  • Developing adapter modules for PI 7.0 using NWDS 7.3

    Hello all,
Did someone have already developed adapter modules for PI 7.0 using NWDS 7.3? I can´t find the EJB libraries for Java 1.4.
I'm able to develop mapping programs, but I'm not sure if it is possible to create EJB projects.
    Thanks,
    Marcos

    Hi Marcos,
I haven't tried developing adapter modules in NWDS 7.3 for PI 7.0 myself, but according to the documentation from SAP it is possible to develop J2EE 1.4 compliant applications i.e. EJB 2.1 components, which is used by SAP PI 7.0.
Because of this backwards-compatibility I would expect that the EJB libraries for J2EE 1.4 should be available directly in NWDS 7.3 somewhere.
    Best regards,

  • Do i have to use JNDI with EJBS?

    Hi
I want to use JNDI to lookup a system which i will send messages to using JMS. I would like to have some java classes on Tomcat to do the job. But...whenever i hear about JNDI it is always in relation to EJBs. Can i only use JNDI with EJBS?
If i can use JNDI is there anything important i need to know about.
    Thanks in advance!
    San H.

You can definitely use JNDI outside of EJB's - in particular, it's a great interface for dealing with LDAP servers, even securely, and can also be used for DNS interfacing, COS, RMI registries, etc.
While JNDI was chosen as the method by which J2EE components can locate other components in a distributed environment, it's by no means limited to that task :) It's a wonderful API, and in terms of things you need to know, most everything is covered fairly well at the JNDI tutorial in the various trails that are mapped out there.

    Good luck!

  • Do i have to use JMS with EJBS?

    Hi
I want to use JMS as a messaging system (a queue) between my system and someone elses. I would like to have some java classes on Tomcat to do the job. But...whenever i hear about JMS i always hear it in relation to EJBs. Can i only use JMS with EJBS?

As far as I understand you are use JNDI and JMS is not bound with EJB's. These are java API's which are independent. Like JDBC you can use with Servlets, Applets, standalone applications, EJB, JMS etc etc.......
In the same way you can use JNDI and JMS with diferent API. And the important feature of Java is that all java API interact with each other when these are independent. I would appricate comments of everyone......................Thanks

I use lightroom with the soft proofing feature for my printing. I used to make a copy proof, but all of the sudden something changed, and even if I'm on the copy in the developing mode it prints the original. Also, If i chose a file that was already in light room to print, even though I have the chosen file up in the developing mode, it will instead print the most recent file that I added to lightroom. If found a way to work around these problems, (check make this the copy in the soft proofing, and copy my settings and delete and reload the old files) but it's a slight hassle and it didn't use to do this. Not sure why it changed. Could I have accidentally changed a setting?

    Hi,
One prior post discussing the use of Java 7 is:
SQL Developer 3.0  and Java SE 7?
There is no need to uninstall any Java version (except if you have disk space constraints) and no problem switching between Java versions. This may be controlled in the sqldeveloper.conf file in your ...\sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper\bin directory via the SetJavaHome line. For example:
    #SetJavaHome ../../jdk
    SetJavaHome C:/Program Files/Java/jdk1.6.0_26
    #SetJavaHome C:/Program Files/Java/jdk1.7.0Regards,

No. Not with current EJB 2.0 CMP specs at least. Later revisions are supposed to fix this, but for now, this seriously limits the usefulness of EJB-QL.

  • Use BIBeans with non-Oracle development / appserver products?

    Hi,
Is it possible to BIBeans with non-Oracle development tools (netbeans/forte etc.) and appserver products?
Where can I find more info?
    TIA..

    Hi Nilesh,
Yes it is definitely possible to use other IDEs for BIBeans development but use of JDeveloper makes it really easy as it has got lot of BI Beans wizards. In other IDEs though it is possible, it will be very tedious to create reports and graphs etc and do over all development.
As far as deployment on other appserver goes, I have deployed BIBeans applications (Servlet) on atleast 3 containers (Tomcat, OC4J and weblogic). Since BIBeans builds a standard java servlet application, it should be possible to deploy on any servlet container.
    Hope it helps.

  • Is there a way of using IE7 with Mountain Lion? There used to be this facility using Safari "Develop" with Lion, but this doesn't seem to work with ML

Is there a way of using IE7 with Mountain Lion? There used to be this facility using Safari "Develop" with Lion, but this doesn't seem to work with ML

Thank you for this, and to Caleb.
I've tried using Caleb's approach (which is the same as I used with Lion), but the programme doesn't respond now that I have installed Mountain Lion.
My problem is that I do not want to use IE7 but that a programme I need regular access to will only allow IE7 and I've been told by the developers that it is too expensive to upgrade this programme to allow it to be used by other browsers.
So, my puzzle remains the same. I could access IE7 and use the programme using Caleb's solution with Lion. I can't do the same with Mountain Lion. I do (I think!) understand your point about the programme requiring IE7 specifically, but if it worked on Lion, why isn't it working on Mountain Lion? Or was I just lucky before?
I'll try mende1's approach, though I doubt I'm technical enough to virtualise anything!
Thanks again. Any further thoughts welcome.

  • Can i buy developer id using my wife credit card with her permission

can i buy developer id using my wife credit card with her permission?

When you enter the Developer program, you have to leave the internet in a sense. You are entering a business relationship with Apple. That is why developers have to submit personal information and cannot act anonymously unless they have a legal right to do so (via a corporation). You wouldn't want to put a successful app at risk by violating the Apple Developer terms of use which clearly state, "The Apple ID and password you use to login as a Registered Apple Developer cannot be shared in any way or with any one."
Furthermore, choosing to develops apps under a female name is, unfortunately, going to attract attention to begin with. It shouldn't matter, but it does.

No, as long as developer 6i is at least patch 16. We use it.

    Hi there,
I had the same issue last friday.
It's probably because you are using JDeveloper 10.1.3.2 instead of 10.1.3.0 or 10.1.3.1 for which the example is made.
I haven't been able to fix this yet, other then by commenting out the this part of the css.

Per my understanding NWDS can be used for developing ESR and ID components but only if we have installed the usage type PO.
We have dual stack PI 7.31. What is the scope of PI objects development through NWDS in this case other than usual JAVA coding...adapter module development, dirapi devlopment ..etc..

    Hi Ashish,
you can use ESR development in NWDS with dual stack, but can not perform the ID development.
