EJB method Calling automatically

Question

Hi
I am using jboss. My requirement is the bean should be called after the EAR deployed automatically without
client.
After it calls i can call the EJB Timer for the next process.
Can u advice me

I achived the same as follows.
Create startupServlet with override init() method.
public class StartupServlet extends HttpServlet {
     @Override
     public void init() throws ServletException {
           // Call the EJB or whatever ... this will be called on startup of jboss without any client.
}And define to load on startup in web.xml
     <servlet>
          <servlet-name>config</servlet-name>
          <servlet-class>
               com.servlet.StartupServlet
          </servlet-class>
          <load-on-startup>1</load-on-startup>
     </servlet>
