EJB project IDE build dos not include properties files

We have property files also which we want included as part of the build process
for EJB projects but if we use the IDE build it does not include them. We have
to therefore export the IDE build and customize it to include *.properties like
this
<zip basedir="${dest.path}" zipfile="${ejb.outputJar}" encoding="UTF8"> <!-- JARs
filenames are encoded UTF8 --> <zipfileset dir="${project.local.directory}" includes="*.properties"
/> </zip>
which causes a problem for us because the exported build file is specific to a
user's local PC and cannot be used in a team environment.
How can we have the IDE build include all the files within an EJB project i.e.
include properties files also.

Hey Jamie,
Currently there is no support to include other .properties files into
the internal build. There's a build.properties that you get as part of
an EJB project which you could place your values into and use that as
your template for your team based development and check that into your
source control.
If you'd really like to get gross and hack Workshop a little bit you
could modify the default EJB project template to use your .properties
file for every EJB project you create. This would then splat a copy of
your .properties file into the root of the EJB project.
To do that you'd go to {your BEAHOME}\workshop\templates and crack open
the ejb-project.zip template zip file and merge your settings into the
existing build.properties file. This has the same
effect as replacing the .properties file after you've created your
project only it keeps you from having to perform that step each time.
The downside of this is that each person on your team would then have to
update that template zip file in their workshop installation. (I'd make
sure to backup the original template file before performing this
activity so you can always go back to the original template).
Hope this helps,
-Michael

    Hi Mindy,
    Why not in EJB?
Yes there is no argument as to why property files cannot be copied over from EJB
    project.
The reason is that Workshop has not implemented the feature with EJBProject. We
have that feature only for Java projects and not for EJB project.
    Thanks a lot,

  • Error in Backup - This plan dose not include any itmes to back up

Apple re-installed my OS 10.3.9 on my G5, but now my iMac backup dose not work.
    For my backup plan
This plan dose not include any items to back up!.
The Back Up button is grayed out,
How do I add items to the backup plan?
I was backing up before the OS re-install

Thanks. I hadn't seen that before and I'll have to look into it a little more. The one thing that has me wondering is the part where they state that the iPod touch is now supported "for iPod to computer transfers only". I would think that given the nature of the product there would have to be some way to transfer the data back to the iPod... I might have a look at the demo version after work here. I guess the obvious question is; have you used this with an iPod touch and had success?
Edit: Just noticed this seems to be a Windows product only so it won't actually help me. Thanks though.

  • Elements 7.. raw plugin 5.5 .. Dose not support raw files from Canon 60D

Elements 7 dose not support raw files Canon 60D. I have up dated the raw plugin to 5.5 still dose not support my cameras raw files

    http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html
The 60D is included from ACR 6.2 on.  I think that means you may need Elements 9 or later.

  • Lightroom 4.  dose not handle RAW files from canon 5D MK 111.

I have purchased lightroom 4. It dose not handle RAW files from canon 5D MK 111.
I have downloaded and ran the suggested file from Adobe, but still no luck.
    Anyone have the answer?

The initial release of Lightroom 4 doesn't handle the 5d mk 3 files because of when the camera was released.  You can either wait for the 4.1 release, or you can download the 4.1 Release Candidate 2 at http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/lightroom4-1/.
Technically you can also download Adobe's DNG converter, but that just adds another program to the situation.

  • Finder dose not show all files

finder dose not show all files and is not open.
nothing is shown on the desktop.
    how is it fixed?

Could be disk corruption or bad perference file (s).
You may want to run these "standard" fixes if the problem persists.
    1) Check the amount of free space on your harddrive.  You should have a several gigs free.
    2) You should run disk utility
         Macintosh-HD -> Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility
         a) verify the disk
         b) update your permissions.
    3) Try a safe boot.
Shutdown your machine.  Hold down the shift key.  Poweron.  Wait awhile Wait awhile while you harddrive
          is being checked.
        http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1455
    4) Define a new account & see if the problem occurs on that account.

  • LR4 Not Including Sidecar Files in Backup Destination

I've noticed that when I import files (NEF's) into LR4 and back them up to a second location (external hard drive) the sidecar files are included in the primary destination folder but not in the backup folder. I checked my LR3 backup folders and the same thing is happening.
I'm sure that there is an explanation for this, but I'll be @#$%^& if I know what it is.  Does someone have an answer?

    Thanks.
I usually import "raws" directly into Lightroom from a CF card (out of a Nikon camera), so I'm not sure what program could be generating sidecar files.  I've checked the cameras and they don't seem to be generating any   I also specify "no adjustments" in the import dialog. The side car files are always present in the primary import location. .
This isn't a critical issue, but I sure am curious to know why it is happening.

XMP Sidecar files may exist at the time of import, either because the files were edited in Bridge/ACR or Lightroom, itself, or another XMP-creating program such as GeoSetter that can create an XMP with GPS tags in it.
Whether those XMP sidecar files should be copied to a secondary location on import remains an open question.

  • Command Line builds do not include graphics used in snippets

    Hello,
I want to be able to build my help projects using RHCL. I have managed to get it to work so my projects will build. However, I use a few snippets that include a graphic in the projects. I have noticed that the graphics are not displayed in the projects that were built using RHCL. They are displayed however if I build a project in Robohelp itself.
Is this a known problem? If so is there a workaround?
    Thanks,

So everything seems to be building correctly now, but not executing correctly.  Also, there are still a number of properties that are not being set:
    function(){return A.apply(null,[this].concat($A(arguments)))}
    report:
Skipped because property 'build.report' not set.
    instrument-compile:
Skipped because property 'build.instrument' not set.
    package-instrument:
Skipped because property 'build.instrument' not set.
    pmdReport:
Skipped because property 'build.pmd' not set.
Where should these values be set and what are appropriate values?  What could be causing the socket timeout and what exactly is it waiting for or attempting to accomplish with the sockets?
The end goal is to be able to use the flex SDK, flexunit and ANT on a linux server to automate my build/test process.  I am currently just trying to get ANT to work with the flex SDK and flexunit on a windows XP box so I can see what the output should be and how the whole system works before trying to inject it into my CI system.

  • FB4 Beta2 does not include swz files

When compiling a release Build, FB4 does not include the smaller swz files but bigger swf files (e. g. framework_4.0.0.10945.swf) instead. The swz files where included only a few time at the beginning of the project.
I need to finish this project with the 4.0.0.10945 SDK.
How can I let FB4 Beta 2 include and link to the framework etc. swz files?
    Thanks,
    David

    Hi,
For the moment I would suggest that you use 'merge into code' rather than runtime libraries. After flashbuilder is released I would assume that the runtime libraries will be available online through Adobe, then it makes sense for applications that are used on a regular basis to use cached libraries, right now everytime you change a build you will also have a new set of libraries to upload/download, along with issues of libraries getting mixed up. SO rather than having to be concerend about a bunch of libraries being stored in the flashplayer cache you only have a single swf to think about.
    David.

  • Log4j does not find properties file (but its in the classes directory)

I am using eclipse, I have created a log4j object:
private static Logger logger = Logger.getLogger(Http.class.getName());When I try to run the test case, I get:

Sorry I was really busy the last few days. Thank you for your answers!
I probably should have left out all the specifics of what the software was that I was packaging, because I think what I was really asking did not come across clearly. What I really wanted to know is:
Why do I have to provide the "-I /usr/include/headers_dir" compiler option for some libraries but not for others, although the header files for each lie in a level 1 subdir of /usr/include?
I thought that maybe there was some kind of index of installed libraries that I didn't know about, which I could have updated from within PKGBUILD (so I guess that's why I included it originally). Seems to me now, though, that this is not the case.
I did put in some google time (but not lots b/c 1. hard to google and 2. busy) to find an answer, but to no avail and it's not really top priority right now (and quite honestly never will be, since there is the -I option), so I guess it'll have to wait, unless someone knows...
    ---EDIT---
So, right after I posted this (stupid me) I had a little think and I finally understand, whats happening.
    1. Headers are not found without specifying the directory they are in.
    2. I need the -I option because easykf headers are not well formed.
    Thanks a lot!

  • How to conifg jdeveloper10g to include properties files?

    hello
in my project,i have a "param.properties" file, that contain the configuration info,i want to read it from my program.
i put it under the "src" directory in my jdeveloper10g project, and hope it can be included in the "class" directory after compilation and package.unfortunately it CANN'T.
i remember that jbuilder can be configed to include any kind of resource, but i don't know how can i config the jdeveloper10g to include the properties in the classpath?
    thank you!

You can get JDev to "compile" (it doesn't really compile the properties file), and put it into your classes directory by adding it into the src directory and getting JDev to open it inside your project. Just make sure to put that properties file into the correct package for your code to reference it in the src directory (meaning just put it in the correct package folder in 'src').

  • Build Specification does not include all files for my VI.

    Hi!
As a part of a semester project i have build a VI to control a filtration unit. The VI is working fine on my computer, but I graduate next month and I have to deliver the files on to a person on the university. The problem is that even though i use the "Build Specification" function (i use LabView 2011 Professional Development System), files are still missing when the program is started on the new computer. A warning in the project file indicates that files are missing or removed to a different location. A file named pid.lib is not found, and it seems like the path to each file is the same as on my computer, but the build specification doesn't change that to fit the new computer.
I am a LabView newbe, and I have searced this forum and help files to try to solve this by my self, but now my time is becoming limited. Can anyone help me with this?

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi Henrik
You can see what versions of LabVIEW and which Toolkits is installed in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX). If you Open MAX, and Select "My System" --> "Software in the left menu, then you can see all software installed.
If you click on the LabVIEW installation. In this case LabVIEW 2011, you can see all toolkits installed.
When you run a LabVIEW project / application on another PC, LabVIEW will use a defined priority of where to load the files from. This is specified in Tools --> Options --> Path --> VI Search Path.
So LabVIEW will frist try to find the VI/VI library in the folder of your project and if the VI is not located there it will look for it as a build function in the vilib, userlib or instrlib folders of LabVIEW. These folders contains VI's and VI libraries installed with LabVIEW.
In this case, as mentioned above you properly don't have the same toolkits installed on both machines. Therefore the PID.lib is not found in the vilib folder as it should be, and thereby you get the error. You can confirm this by reviewing the installed modules as mentioned above.

  • Flex 4, exporting a Release Build does not include CSS/XML?

    Hello
So I'm using external CSS and XML. I'm pulling the CSS with <fx:Style source="CSS/styles.css" /> and am using HTTPService to fetch the XML data.
It works great, until I export as a Release Build.
It doesn't include the CSS or XML files, but still pulls the CSS colors and whatnot, I just can't update them.
What gives? How can I get the CSS and XML external files to.. well, stay "external"?
I need the user to be able to update the CSS and XML on their end, but can't if the Release Build embeds the CSS and XML files before exporting..
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

dont think Flex can read a raw CSS sheet. You have to precompile them, right click on the file in project explorer and chose compile CSS to SWF

  • Tutorial builder dose not show images

every thing works fine until I load the tutorial player and connect to cs5. look for the resulting tutorial I have just made and everything except the before and after pictures are showing.
If I open the html file in internet explorer everything works except the linking with CS5. The only error I get at this stage is Internet Explorer restricts this web page from running scripts or ActiveX controls, which i can overcome if i Allow blocked content.
has any one any Ideas on how to go forward on this.

    Hi Landailyn and Alexander,
Sorry you are having trouble. Please make sure that you are using the latest version of Tutorial Builder. We released an update on October. 27th.
Let's try the following steps and see what happens.
Part 1: Create a test tutorial with Tutorial Builder
    1. Open Photoshop and open the Tutorial Bulder panel.
    2. Click Start in the TB Panel
    3. Open an image
    4. Say "yes" when the dialog asks you if you want to save the image as the before image
    5. Convert it to Black and Whilte through Image>Mode>Grayscale
    6. Click Done in the TB Panel
    7. Say "yes" when the dialog asks you if you want to save the tutorial.
    8. Say "yes" when the dialog asks you if you want to save the black and white image as the after image
    9. In the "Save Tutorial" dialog, under title put "BW" and for Save To, click on the browse icon with the three dots. This will open a File System browser. Go to your Desktop and create a folder called "TBtest". Click Ok. This will save this new tutorial in the TBTest folder.
Part 2: Check that the created tutorial includes all of the right parts
    1. open the system file browser
    2. Open the folder Desktop/TBTest/BW/html
In that folder you should see
BW.html - this is your tutorial
    main.css
    main_ie.css
    assets/
    icons/
    images/
    js/
    3. Open the BW.html file in your favorite browser (IE for you guys) and see how the tutorial looks
    4. Look in the images folder and make sure that there are two images there - before.png and after.png
    5. Look in the assets folder and make sure that you see the image you used in your tutorial
Part 3: Open it in Tutorial Player and try sending the recorded commands to Photoshop
    1. Open Tutorial Player
    2. Connect to Photoshop by following the directions in Tutorial Player
    3. Click the Browse button and havigate to Desktop/TBtest/BW/html/BW.html
    4. Click on the "Show me in Photoshop" link under step 2. This should cause the file you used to make the tutorial to be open in your Photoshop
    5. Click on the "Show me in Photoshop" link under step 3. This should turn the image in Photoshop to black and white.
Please go through these steps and let me know what works and what doesn't work.
    Thanks!
    Mira
