Element 3D Transformation

Hi people!
First of all I wanna thank you for accepting me in this group and secondly I need some help with a transformation in Element 3D.
I want to know how to transform an Element 3D object into a text ( for example: transform an Element 3d Iphone into a text or viceversa)
Can someone help me with this?!

    the XSD in my BPEL process defines a "Group" element:

    First, it is not possible to define an empty element (<desc/>) in the graphical design modus of an XSLT transform activity. Or is there a workaround available?
    Second, when inserting the empty element in the source modus => saving the document => changing to the graphical design modus => do something in the graphical design modus => returning to the source modus, the empty element was deleted by JDeveloper! Is there a workaround for this very annoying bug of Jdev?

    You can also append an xml fragment to put back the missing fields....for example:
    - Type: Append (Note, this is different than the copy operation)
    - From Type: XML Fragment
    - From Value:

    <ns4:First/>
    <ns4:Last/>
    </ns4:Name>

  • Elements 6: transform tool problems

    I've just downloaded a trial version of Elements 6 for Mac. I use an iMac with OSX 10.5.5
    I find the transform tool doesnt work as expected (neither did it in Elements4). It seems to be OK in performing a transform perspective operation except for the final step when pressing return results in nothing happening. The change is still visible but Elements won't actually make the change to the jpeg image. I wonder if anyone has suggestions? Do I have some vital but obscure setting in Elements disabled or not set?

    Thank you for responding Barbara. I'm trying to correct some converging verticals by using the transform perspective commands. It's a part of Photoshop that I was familiar with when using CS3 on my PC but using Elements (I've tried both 4 and 6) on a Mac seems to be different. I've tried the checkmark (in 4, but it isn't there in 6) which also fails to action the selected perspective transformation. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Regards. Chris

  • How do I stop FireFox from converting css3 transforms such as scale, or rotate, into matrix transforms?

    Go to pilatch.com/cards and click any of the cards in the arc. Now do the same in Chrome, or Safari, or IE 9. I have un-min-catted all my JavaScript, so you can see what's going on more easily.
    CSS3 transforms in version 16 of FireFox are being converted into matrix transforms.
    It pretty much horks my rotate and scale animations.
    For instance, if you set the style attribute of an element to something like, style="transform:scale(0.75)", FireFox immediately converts that element's transform property, such as <element>.style.transform to "matrix(...)".
    I know how to do the linear algebra to convert rotate and scale via jQuery cssHooks into matrix transformations, and I've even written code to detect this "feature" of a browser, (that it forces a transform into matrix), and return a different hook that writes a matrix transform instead of a rotate transform, or scale, all in the past two days, on my development site.
    However, it's proving to be increasingly challenging to make this new feature compatible with jQuery's animations. Going further, I may have to hack jQuery just to make this work for FireFox, or drop FireFox animation support altogether unless some FireFox developers make their new implementation backwards compatible.
    I know that transforms normally get converted into matrices behind the scenes in the rendering engine. Leave your matrix there. Don't overwrite what the user has put in for a transform!
    I also know that I should be using CSS3 animations, but, dangit, I started this project before those had widespread support. I can't rewrite all my animations because I want to support FireFox. That's not really an option. I'll direct my users to Chrome instead. I have more features in development that use these types of animation, and I'm in too deep to turn back.

    For this you need a transformation with XSLT 2.0. Use a two level grouping. First group on the store elements and the second on the metricName elements.
    Transformation looks like this:

    Yes, transform controls can only be used from within a process file (JPD).
    The IDE should not let you drop something into a container that doesn't
    support it. That's something that needs to be improved in the next release.

    Keyframing can be applied to most Effects, whether Fixed, or applied, so it can do much more, than Pan & Zoom. The application of it is almost limitless.

    It is a shame that you put all the effort here to describe your problem, but on the other hand you can now also copy & paste the question to Oracle Support.
    Because you are using 10.2.0.3; I am guessing that you have a valid service contract...

  • Problem using method convertDTD2Schema in DTD

    I am manipulating XML documents within my Java application. These documents or validated with a DTD. But in order to use the validation methods of oracle xdk, I transfom my DTD to a schema using the method convertDTD2Schema of the DTD object.
    For some dtd elements, the transformation seems to be wrong. I have an example of an element declaration with a problem:

  • Problems with message mapping in XI

    Hi,
    I'm having a problem with my message mapping . I get the error
    "Cannot produce target element /ns0:GovTalkMessage/ns0:Body/ns1:IRenvelope. Check xml instance is valid for source xsd and target-field mapping fulfills requirements of target xsd"

  • Data extraction from any tag in User Area

    Hi,
    We have requirment where in we need to Extract data from UserArea tag in OAGIS 9 XML file and map it into different custom XSD element through transformation.
    We tried directly coding the path in transformation, but it is not fetching data present in Oagis9 XML file. Also tried Copy-Of.

    Hi Manasa,
    Can you provide some details on the input XML and its DTD or XSD and the desired output format (e.g. a target XSD)?
    Although the XSL Mapper in JDeveloper can not graphically display the any element, you can use XSLT to map its data. For example using the copy-of construct.

  • 3D Dial Guage

    Hi Forum,
    Can anyone tell me how to change the limit of the arcs in the 3d Dial Gauge. I am able to change the color of the arc by changing "stroke" property. But i couldn't find any property to change the limit of the arcs.
    Also, i am able to put a value in the value box. But the needle is not moving according to the value that is assigned to value box.

    Hi Michael,
    have you done the advanced training course yet?  Doing dynamic graphics is well explained in one of the labs.  If you search for "Dynamic Graphics" in the index of the help files, there's a good walk through there too.
    The rotation of the needle is calculated using a animation link.  The link you'd use is:
    SVG Element: Needle\Transform
    And the Expression would be something along the lines of:
    "rotate(" & (20 + 320 *  (Value - MinRange) / (MaxRange - MinRange))  & " 150 150)"
    Where Value, MinRange, etc... are Object Properties which you would've already defined and rotate is the functon on the angle calculated.  If you wanted to, you could also use the "Calculated Properties" to do the calculation instead of doing it directly in the animation link.
    I'm not too sure I understand what you're trying to do with the limit.  Is it the text value you're wanting to change, or the angle at which the limit sits?

  • Installing updates using Tuner

    We are going to be installing Acrobat Elements and Reader 7.0 using the InstallShield Tuner for 7.0. I would like to install any updates that are out for those versions during the installation. What is the best way to include the updates with the initial installation using Tuner? I want to be able to package it all up and only have to perform one install, if possible.

    Make an admin install point, patch the admin install, then deploy.
    1) msiexec /a elements.msi transforms="elements.mst" (transform was made in acrobat tuner 7)
    2) then in the admin install directory  > msiexec /a elements.msi /p Ac705EmP_efgj.msp
    3) then copy the transform from your original elements folder into the admin folder and install Elements 7

  • Set comp to always continuously rasterize vector files.

    Hey, just reaching out to see if anyone knows a setting or secret way of making a composition always apply continuous rasterization to any vector (Illustrator) layer that is dropping into the composition?
    I checked under the comp settings and under the Illustrator interperate footage settings and couldnt find anything.

    As Todd said, it doesn't exist and on a more general level it would make zero sense to have such a switch considering how it also affects render order of other elements, collapses transforms and passes through belnding modes of nested items and a ton of otehr things. It may work for what you have in mind, but otehrwise would be very much a nightmare to deal with.

  • XSL issue

    Below is part of my xsl in which i pass 6 parameters. Each parameter is an array. I want to use the for-each with the paramter as i did below but it fails when i try to test. Basically, i want to loop thru my paramters and store their data to the target. Is there a way to achieve this ?
