Elements 10 photo mail

From organizer, I select photo, then select "Share", then select "Photo Mail", then select "next". When I select next, I get the message that "Organizer has stopped working" and a button to close program. I can't get past this point. I have Windows Vista. Rarely have problems with anything else. Never had this problem with Elements 7. Thanks.

Please try running Organizer with Admin rights. Go to its exe in Program Files > Adobe > Elements Organizer 10 > PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe -> right click -> Run as Admin.
Let us know if this doesn't solve your problem.

Photoshop Elements 'Photo Mail' feature

I recently received an email created with Photoshop Elements 'Photo Mail' feature
The presentation of the photos was very attractive.
I have CS4 which does not include Photo Mail.
Anyone have a suggestion as to how Photo Mail can be duplicated in CS4?

That feature is for people who don't understand images or email or both.
Why would a professional program like Photoshop include it?

Elements 12 Organizer crashes every time I try to use the Photo Mail function. Has anyone else come across this bug?

I highlight the photos I want to share, go to Photo Mail, select the addressees and press "Next". I then get the error message: "Elements Organizer has stopped working" and I have to close the program down.
This is obviously a bug in the program and needs fixing. Has anyone else encountered it and found a solution. (I might add that the same crash happens if I try to use the "Email attachments" function.)

If so, use the windows explorer to navigate to one of the following files according to your system.
64bit system: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 12 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
32bit system: "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Elements 12 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
Right click on that file and select Run as Administrator then try your email again.
You should only have to do this once.

Element v.11 & 9 Photo mail problem with MS Outlook

Looking for a fix: Elements v.11 has a photo mail problem with Microsoft Outlook mail, even when Outlook is designated the defaul e-mail program in Windows internet.
Is there a fix?? Thanks.

I just posted the same problem and so I'll join this thread, hoping to see an answer to your question. By the way, this PSE11 feature worked fine for me with Outlook 2007, but stopped working when I upgraded to Outlook 365.

Photoshop elements 12. photo mail problem

My "Share" lists E-mail and Photo Mail. but neither work. Under "edit-preferences-share" it has a server choice that lists "Adobe Photo Mail" and no others. No outlook No refresh. Just Adobe Photo Mail and it dosn't work Please help .....jt

I have just checked my 8.1 system and it is running Windows Live Mail 2012 and Elements 12 is using it as an email client.
You could use your search charm to see if you can find it on your system. It may not be available to Elements 12 if you haven't set up account details in it.

Adobe Elements 9, sharing photo mail problem with Win. 7, Live Mail.

Last Oct. 2011 I bought a new HP laptop with Win. 7 I and PS Elements 9 and Permiere 9. I am familar to XP and PS Elements 6. I play with photos alot and shortly found that I could not send/share photos using Photo Mail and Win. Live Mail. I contacted Adobe and was told that it was HP's problem. I contacted HP, They worked very hard on trying to find the solution. I was in contact with 3-4 techs. accessing my lap top for 4-6 hours trying many things. Finally I was told that I needed Outlook to use Photo Mail and that if I bought Micro. Office it would have Outlook. I think it was around $200.00. I already had Office Home and Student and told the tech. that I had already paid $$$ for the laptop and programs and the unit should work. The tech. tried to down load a pervious ver. of Outlook, but it didn't work. I was told that sometimes when purchasing a custom pc thing do not work properly. The last Tech.told me it was Adobe's problem. I didn't know what to do-----I finally called Adobe back. I explained the problem---this Tech. said "no problem" and had it fixed in no time at all! It had something to do with a number as I recall. Access # ? I don't recall.
Last week I got some type of a virus and had to restore back to factory settings. Now I am in the same problem and cannot fix the problem. I called both Abobe and HP. They both told me to purchase help one at $50.00 the $39.00 and it would be fixed. The other option is to purchase Elements 10 around $100.00. and the problem will be fixed.
AM I FRUSTERATED----YES!

I would not normally recommend going back to earlier software but if you are re-building it may be worth installing the original version of MS Live Mail. But PSE does not work with Live Essentials 2011.

Elements 11 Organizer quits working during Photo Mail

I had Elements 6 and all worked well. Then had 8 and and now 11 and when I start Photo Mail it gets to the email sending and says that Organizer has quit working. Now what

Elements 13...the Photo Mail (embedded) is not available.

I upgraded from Elements 11 having access to Share Photo Mail embedded in emails. My elements 13 does not have that option. What is the problem?

Yes it is.
You can import the photo(s) into iPhoto and then select the photo(s) inside iphoto and go to...
File > Export (Command + Shift + E) and export in a lower quality so that you can email then.

Elements 10 organiser... CRASHES when using photo mail

I select the photo, click next and program instantly crashes.
Further email attachments does not work. Brings up an email window which i've not seen before and says no email account assigned. Yahoo is my default client.

I’ve found it usually works best with web mail via Adobe after obtaining verification. I know some email services block bulk email completely and I’ve only tested it with Gmail which works fine. Should also work with other web mail e.g. Yahoo and Hotmail. Before you start it will help to check your internet security settings. If they are set to High, reduce the settings to Medium temporarily. Then follow these instructions.
1. Log in to your mail provider on the web and add the following email to your address/contacts book.
[email protected]
2. Open Organizer and on the menu click:
Edit >> Preferences >> Sharing
3. Choose Adobe Email Service from the client dropdown menu.
4. Add your name and email address to the fields provided and click OK
5. Test the system (first use only) by selecting a photo in organizer and choosing Share >> Photo Mail then click Next
6. Choose a contact then click Next
7. Click Next Step, then click Next - the sender verification dialog will open.
8. Check you have spelt your email address correctly and hit the Resend E-Mail button.
9. Go to your inbox (also check spam) and when the Adobe mailer message is received copy (Ctrl+C) the long verification code.
10. Return to the verification dialog and paste it (Ctrl+V) into the Sender verification field and click OK. Wait for validation confirmation then click OK to continue

I am using window 7, 64 bit to run photoshop premier elements 12 on two computers. Photo mail runs

on one but not the other. I have tried this community but am trying again. Whycdoes the restore setting on the comp[uter that will not run the photo mail not reset?..Is there an answer? thank you

To run photomail or Share as "Email Attachment" you MUST have a default email client or you must have registered with Adobe to run their email server.
In Windows 7 you can install Outlook or free version of Windows Live Mail to have a default email client. Resetting anything is not going to solve this requirement.
Once you have installed a mail client, you can then share your photos by clicking on the share TAB and appropriate item e.g. Email attachment or Photomail and get another window showing this:
This window allows you to choose what do you want to use.

Which email client are you using?
Where does it fail?
If it is failing when it goes to choose stationary, then try this.
1) Create a shortcut to the the organizer (PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe)
2) Right click on the shortcut and select Run as administrator (even if you are an adminstrator)
3) Try the Photo Mail process again
If it works, then you can close organizer and try again without the Run as administrator

Sharing by Photo Mail - no longer works and programme closes.

I have used Elements 10 for some time, on Windows 7 Home and with Microsoft Outlook for e mail.
Have had no problems in the past sending photo's using the Share / Photo Mail option.
But problem has arisen "out of the blue", and I can no longer do this.
In Organiser, I select Share / Photo Mail / Next / Select the photos / Next / Select recipient from the list / Next .....
At this point I am now getting message " Element 10 organiser has stopped working. A problem has caused the programme to stop working correctly. Windows will close the programme and notify you if a solution is available".
This does not happen if I use the option for Sharing as E Mail attachment. In that case, the programme selects Outlook and adds the pictures as attachments with no problem at all.
Problem only arises if I select the Photo Mail option - though this has worked perfectly in the past, using Outlook.
I do have Outlook selected as the e mail under the Sharing section of Preferences.
I am not aware of having made any changes to Elements that may have caused the problem. Nor any other changes in Outlook or other programes
Any ideas please?

Ooop's - all seemed OK this morning, as reported. But have tried to open programme tonight without success ! I can get the Welcome screen, click on Organiser - but progress bar operates for short while and then just "hangs".
Using Welcome and clicking Editor opens the Editor, but I cannot reach Organiseer from there - using button at top right corner.
Must have deleted an essential component ? I suspect that the only option is now to remove Elements and do a Re Instal.
When I inserted the original disc (at start of my problems in the hope that it might show a 'repair'option) it came up with message asking for confirmation that it could remove the programme. Did not proceed further with that - but am just wondering if this is something that it does automatically before proceeding to re instal ?
If so, do you think it best to go along those lines rather than use the Windows Add / Remove option first?
Just then worried about your suggestion to delete the two folders PSE 10 - as not sure of the significance of this (forgive my lack of computer programme knowledge).
Thanks for the screenshot, but have never been able to find that screen - either directly within Elements or via Windows Explorer.
Will delay further action pending further advice / comments and can I just re iterate that Elements has been working perfectly for many months on my Windows 7 computer and without my having to set it to compatibility mode for earlier versions.

Photo Mail Crashes

Every timne I try to use Photo Mail Elements 10 crashes. I am getting so sick of $80 upgrades for crap that doesn't work as advertise!!
Of course, now that PE 11 is out no more help for PE 10. What a company this Adobe has turned into. Just awful!!

You can try running Organizer in Compatibililty mode. TO do so, follow these steps-
- Close Organizer if open.
- Locate 'PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe'. By default it is present at '%programfiles%\Adobe\Elements 10 Organizer\'
- Select the file and right click and select 'Properties'
- Switch to 'Compatibility' tab
- Select check box 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:'
- Select 'Windows XP SP3'. Click 'OK' (See the screenshot)
- Launch Organizer and try Photomail workflow once again

PSE 7 - Share - Photo Mail - "Default Text" - how to get rid off them?

Happy New Year to you all!
I use PSE 7 (Vista, Home Premium) to send regularly pictures with the "Photo Mail" option under "Share".
In PSE7, just as in the previous versions, I keep getting annoyed by the standard text "Here are the photos I want to share with you". This text is then repeated in the actual mail. I like to have it "blank" and not repeated in the actual mail.
Second, in the generated mail we always get that lovely advertising for Adobe at the bottom of the generated message "I sent these photos using Adobe(R) Photoshop(R) Elements 7.0. Find out more: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopelwin/" which, gagin I have to delete everytime. Is the an option somewhere (.ini file or the like, regedit?) to supress this?
Third: That message "Here are...." gets automatically inserted into the subject of the generated message. Again: hot to get rid of this?
Anyone an idea or is this something to post to Adobe's Wish List forum?

Go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 7.0|Assets|locale\en_us(or wherever you are)\email\signatures and open the files there in a text editor, delete the ads and save.

Downloaded PSE 9, photo mail stopped working in PSE 7, help!

With some trouble I was able to download trial version PSE 9. I already had PSE 7. I attempted to e-mail pics using photo mail in PSE 9. I had to select e-mail system and it would send a confirmation number. No number arrived. Went back to PSE 7 and it stopped working. How do I fix this?

I am having the same problem. i am running Windows 7 64 bit and upgraded from
elements 8 to elements 9 and now i get the cursed 'unhandled exception error about halfway through running 'Photo Mail'. It crashes when the program tries to load the border templates. Very annoying!
