Email addresses BEFORE switch over?

Hi,
I have signed up to BT Broadband (due to switch over on the 12th June) and I have a new BT email address that I can start using then but is it possible to set up another email address for my wife BEFORE the 12th so she can inform everyone of her new address. We both currently only have email addresses with our current ISP which I guess we'll lose on the the 12th.

If you can get into your BTYahoo account then you should be able to set up the sub account for your wife. It might take a day or two for the email to become active after you set it up. See this link how to do it.

Depending on your present ISP rules you may still be able to use your present email address. Some ISP let you take it others don't. Check with them.
You may find that your BT email address is aready active and you can start using it now.

I just purchased a new MacBook Air for my wife and I'll be using Migration assistant to transfer data from her old imac. She also wants me to set up a new email address on our mutual .me account. My question is:

Current Firefox versions have enabled a new build-in PDF Viewer and that viewer doesn't have all the features that the Adobe Reader has.
You can change the action for Portable Document Format (PDF) from Preview in Firefox to use the Adobe Reader or set to Always Ask.

I originally open my iTunes account using a comcast email account, I then switched to a verizon account. I do not remember the password associated with the account when it was opened under the comcast email and no longer have the comcast email account. My PC recently crashed and I had to replace the hard drive. I have my saved back up files on my new drive... but can not access the iTunes purchased when on my comcast email address and have no way of getting emails on comcast address to get password required to access old purchases. How do I get the use of these older song purchases?

Deleting email addresses before forwarding.

When I forward an email, I delete the addresses listed in the email body. Before there was no problem, but now when I delete previous email addresses the whole email disappears. It is not in the trash, it is deleted from my computer mail. What can I do to stop this from happening? Thanks for your help.

It sounds like you receive an email, you click "forward", which sets up a reply, you delete the header information (to, from, subject, etc) at the top of the original email, then send it? At what point does it disappear? Do you see it in your Sent Mail?)+
I receive the email, click "forward" which sets up a reply, highlight the header information that I want removed and when I click delete, the whole email disappears. I can't find it in any of my folders. The original is gone from all of my folders. I am now forwarding without deleting previous headers and emails. Thanks for your help.

We reset back to factory settings, we had to try a few email addresses before finding one we could use. Now it is asking to verify one of the email addresses we didn't use. How do we get out of that?

We reset back to factory settings. After a few attempts we found an email we could use to set up as Apple ID. Everything was working great. Now it has pulled up one of the email addresses we tried to use, and is trying to verify, and asking to continue to complete the set up. It gets to a certain page, and stays there, won't let us get out of the page. We shut down the iPad, but it came back to the same thing, when it restarted. What do we do to stop this?

You will need another iOS device or a computer in order to do this, but I assume that's not a problem since you are on this forum.

Replying to emails - address gets switched on some of my accounts, not all since DL new TB version

My setup is to have several (4) email accounts, that all go into the main inbox. Since Dl a new version/upgrade of TB a few weeks ago. On some of email address when I reply, it switches my email address to another one. It does not do it all the time. I have been in tools , acount settings, server, cannot figure this out help

I can'tr access it to change it since my security questions don't work and when I request an email to change password, it says it sent one but I do not receive anything. If you have 'Find My iPad' activated on the iPad it will cause this problem. You will have to contact Support for help. You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Retaining my BTINTERNET email address on switching...

I am shortly moving my broadband and telephone service to another ISP.
I have been informed that my current BTINTERNET email address will remain active for 90 days but that after this I will need to sign up to BT Yahoo Premium Mail at a cost of £1.54 per month.
I have located the registration page for BT Yahoo Premium Mail (https://register.btinternet.com/cgi-bin/regen/register/pdr/your_details.html) but there does not seem to be a question regarding an existing email address. I have gone through the first page of registration and onto the second where my bank details are required. I do not want to proceed as usually bank details are the last pieces of info requested.

FAQ: Validating Email Addresses before sending

Hi All!
Recently I've been developing a servlet to allow our users to change their email address. The problem with this, of course, is that the user can easily enter an invalid address or simply make an error typing their address. Obviously it's not possible to catch every error, but it is possible to at least verify that the address entered is of a valid format, i.e. [email protected]
The JavaMail API provides some validation in InternetAddress, but again allows some things to slip through the cracks. Here's the code that I've come up with to at least ensure the proper email address format:

hi yesterday i received a 5s for a christmas gift. i got home and decided to transfer data. i backed up my 4s and did the updates. i then hooked up my 5s performed the updates and transfer. when i found all the info i needed was transfered i started deleting the info from my 4s. i lost the contacts in the process. i forgot about the icloud and it deleted the contacts from my 5s. now when i go back to retrieve my back up i can only get the info from a later time. honw do i get the original back up from an earlier time on my account

You can't avoid that if you use backspace or go back otherwise (toolbar Back button or via the right-click context menu). You will have to use the link or button on that page to go to the inbox.

Is anyone creating inkjet canvas prints at home with their Macbook Pro? What type of printer is compatible for this kind of job? Was using Hp inkjet 7300 (before switching over to mac)which uses 5 color cartridges.

I'm an artist and just purchased my first Apple product(Macbook Pro with retina 15")...prior to was using an Hp inkjet 7300 printer, which gave me wonderful prints on canvas, paper, fabric, etc. for many years. This particular printer uses 6 color cartridges including black. Now need to know if I can still use this printer or what would be a comparable companion printer for my Macbook Pro and deliver the same high quality of prints?

Your Mac should set it up automatically when you plug it into the computer.

I need to check Is there any change in Vendor Email address in PO before
saving. I am trying to find userexits.
I found some like EXIT_SAPMM06E_012, But here I am not getting complete
Vendor address...
Req: I am maintaing multiple email address for Vendor at PO header level.
Here is the path: PO Header --> Address tab --> Click on Address Details
--> Here we can maintain(Insert/ Delete/Change) multiple e mail address.
So I need to check is there any change in email address before saving.
Could you please any body help me on this....

One base question,
Are you going to check the vendor email address manually before saving the PO?
The vendor address in the puchase order is copied from the vendor master so you can maintain email address (single or multiple) in the vendor master before creating the purchase order. At the time of purchase order creation/save, you can change the default email address and use this to trigger PO to vendor.
By the way, user exit EXIT_SAPMM06E_012 (Check Customer-Specific Data Before Saving) is used for custom field not for SAP std field.

Thunderbird changes outgoing email address

Composing a new email:
In the "To" field I start to type an address. Thunderbird provides a drop-down of matches from my address book. I select one of the addresses. Thunderbird puts it into the "To" field. At this point, my cursor is still in the "To" field. Then I hit Enter to move to the next field, & Thunderbird changes the email address to a different address (a different address from my address book).
If I add a space after the email address before pressing Enter, Thunderbird leaves the email address as is.
Behavior is kind of random - address is not replaced all the time. Also, for a while Thunderbird will make one change - like always changing address X to address Y, then it will switch to another change - always replacing address Z with address W.
The replacement address is always one that is in the address book.
Also, Thunderbird randomly colors some outgoing email addresses as red, even though they are in my address book.

The easiest method is to use the contacts sidebar as described in option 2.
But contacts do need to be in an Address Book.
However, if your issue is to reveal more TO fields, then you can drag the divider downwards. See image below.
If you write using Plain Text , there will be no Formatting Bar. If you use HTML formatting, then there will be a Formatting Bar.
In the image below there is a Formatting Bar between 'Subject' and the composing area. In the image below, I've indicated this with a red line.
Use mouse and hover over this line, the mouse should chnage to a double headed arrow. Left click and hold down to grab the line. Then move mouse downwards to move the line. It will reveal more TO fields.
