Email Copies Sent to Computer inbox

Every time i send an email from my blackberry...a copy of it gets sent to
my inbox on my computer. I don;t want this copy sent to me?

I'm guessing BIS....
You need to create a Filter in your BIS account (the account you set up so that email would go to your device in the first place) so that doesn't happen. Check THIS out.

I access my emails online at mail.verizon.com. For some unknown reason, when I "reply" or "forward" emails I'm all of a sudden getting copies sent to my inbox! I already have set my settings to save a copy in my "sent" folder and so don't want another copy in my inbox. I cannot figure out how to change this...

Outlook 2010 - Shared mailbox copies sent items into inbox

Good afternoon, I have a customer which recently requested a shared mailbox addition for group emails within his team (all accounts are Exchange). The shared mailbox is duplicating sent items in the inbox of the shared account. The default account
functions normally with sent items only residing in the sent items folder.
All the settings appear normal on the cliet side, what am I missing?

Hi Mack,
Does this issue occur on all the users who add the shared mailbox or just several users?
If this issue only occur on one user, please recreate Outlook profile to have a try.
You also can use OWA to help you check on the issue:
<1> Grant one user with full access permission on the shared mailbox.
<2> Login with OWA, and use the shared mailbox to send one email, then check if the sent item email will be copied to the inbox.

How can i stop gmail and email messages sent to my inbox to go to my apple email?

i have a gmail and a hotmail account.
everytime i receive a message in my inboxes it apperas on my apple email account a few minutes later.
is there any way to stop this from happening?
what if for instance an email with a virus is sent to my account?

As my image is in Portuguese-BR, let my try to explain... You need to click on the icon next to iCloud icon. can you see that? that blue ball between iCloud and Rede (network, in English)
I guess opening there you'll can disable hotmail and Gmail, watch the next image, these are the preferences on of Mail, Contacts...:
Now, in this window you need to search for your Gmail and Hotmail accounts, just select them (as in my case I have th Gmail one selected) and click on the minus, that is next to the plus signal, down in the same window.
I can assure you Apple support is the best you'll find, I don't know what it happened to you, but they're the best.
Don't be worried about it, you bought the best device in the world, it just take a time till we now exactly how to use it

I'm losing my emails from my inbox and my trash. Also an email has gone from my inbox and appeared in my Sent box Can any one help please?

My emails keep disappearing from my Inbox and also my Trash. They arrive, manually summoned ,not Push, and I read them and they can disappera in front of my eyes or if I close the Ipad and then reopen Mail Inbox they just go. One has reappeared in the Sent Box but most have just gone. My Sent box has only got 3 in it, the others had 3 1 hour ago, they have now gone. They will also go if I recheck for mail. Pleas has anyone any idea what has happenend and how I get this sorted?

I usualy have my PC on at the same time as the IPad but I am not always checking for emails at the same time as I am checking on the iPad.
Are you accessing the account with an email client on your computer such as with Outlook or Outlook Express/Windows Mail?
If so, when the email client is launched and running, it is not set to automatically check the account for new messages?
I have just changed Removal of Deleted mesages to Never in Advanced Settings but it's too early to see the effect.

My adobe account was hacked and compromised, emails were sent out on one of my accounts. I changed my adobe password, when I scan my computer, some adobe files are password protected and can not be scanned, is this normal?

When I back up our Thunderbird email from our office computer to our laptop, all of our folders from our inbox get duplicated to our archives, or vice versa.

When we back up our Thunderbird email from our office computer to our laptop so we can continue doing business when we are away from the office, most (if not all) of our folders get duplicated between our inbox and our archives, or vice versa, we're not sure which. All we know is that many of our folders are copied. We have 62 folders in our archive, and 74 in our inbox. After checking- it appears that our archived folders are being duplicated back in to our inbox.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. How can I create a filter that automatically copies sent items to other folder than "sent" folder?

I tried to create filter which automatically copies sent to different recipients messages to other folder than "sent". I tried many times with different setting but it doesn't work. With inbox messages it works fine.

If you want to 'reply' to an email, but you want the sent reply to auto appear in the same folder of the message you are replying to.
Tools > Account Settings > Copies & folders for the mail account
There is a checkbox to select: 'Place replies on the folder of the message being replied to'
then click on OK to save changes.
If you want all sent emails not just replies to got to different fodlers based on who you sent the email to, then you would need to create a filter which when manually run moves selected emails to specific folders.
So let the sent emails get auto stored in Sent folder.
Tools > Message Filter
click on New
give filter suitable name
Apply filter when: manually run
select 'match all of the following'
To is email address
Perform these actions
Move message to and select the folder.
Do not enable.
When you need to run this filter,
open Message filter.
enable only the filters you require
Run selected filters on: Sent folder on the mail account
click on 'run now'
Best used when you have several sent emails which you need moving.
Not exactly what you are looking for, but works if organising loads of sent emails.

Scaanned pdf to email text vahishes when email is sent

Using printer HP 6700 I scan a text document in pdf format to email. I look in outlook and the file appears. I add text to the email and send it. The email is received without the text but with the attachment. I look at the email just sent, and the text has also vanished. Using MS Outlook in office 365. I have reloaded all HP software. also Tried using different computer with no success. If I manually attach a scanned document the text in the email does not vanish. Outlook is verified as up to date. Recent change was to install new router - now ganged with a second Linksys router in a remote location. MS Community suggests I check with HP Community for suggestions or hopefully a solution.

I understand you're having an issue scanning directly into your e-mail using your HP Officejet 6700 Premium e All-in-One Printer, with you Windows 8.1 system. I'd like to help you with that. I need a little more information on how you are scanning to better assist you. When you are starting a scan, are you selecting the scan to e-mail function on the front panel of the printer? Or are you opening the HP software on your computer to start the scan?
If you are using the scan to e-mail app on the front panel of the printer, are you forwarding the e-mail once it's received in your inbox? If you are using the HP software to scan directly into the Outlook program, try saving the file instead and attaching it to a newly composed message, does that work? I am automating the process of sending appointment reminders to my clients. I started with an alert with an email in calendar using the clients email address as a custom entry in my me card in my contacts. this was resulting in three emails being sent with slightly different versions of the same address (see my previous post). Heating someone else's suggestion I created a workflow file to send an email and calling that file from an alert on my calendar. This is working and sends only one email to the client.
My calendar is on I cloud and I access it from three different computers so I can keep my appointment calendar current. The files that send the email only exist on one computer. My other computers show error messages when those emails get sent. It seems that each computer wants to send the email. It's a small problem but is there a way that I could not get those alerts.
But appreciate any thoughts about this. It seems like both problems might be related to the iCloud system.

Good work, catch so far Michael, does seem to be a "feature" of iCloud syncing, not sure what you could do to disable it.

The verification email is sent to the email address you used when you set up the Apple ID you are using for iCloud. Check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox. If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right look for a link to resend the verification email.

I would not use iTunes Match as a backup. There are too many bugs and I don't think that's what they intended it to be anyway. The main advantage of using it is to make your music available on OTHER devices, not to replace the music on your original computer.

You can install Temperature Monitor and have a look if the CPU oder GPU oder something else went to hot. The processor has a built in safety mechanism to shut down the computer before taking damage.
