EMAIL COPY to the DISTRIBUTOR?

I've created a website which is to be linked in our DISTRIBUTORS websites. Customers could place an order through the distributors website. Currently it sends data to a PHP script on the server and gets the details to my mail.
My problem: When a customer place an order coming to my website through a distributors website, how to make a copy of the email to be sent to that distributor? What's the bestand easiest way to do this?

It's really not that difficult. The hard part would be getting each Distributor to add code to their site to pass a variable with the link when they link to your site. I assume this is a Flash application, but it's the same if it were in PHP and Flash wasn't involved.
Basically, the link on their site would include a variable in the querystring:
http://www.yoursite.com/targetpage.php?DistributorID=1234
Each Distirbutor ID is unique. Your PHP page would extract that ID and a) pass it into Flash then match it to an email address or b) match it to an ID on the PHP page, then pass the email address into Flash.
Another method is to use the HTTP referer - you would have to determine the page that links to your site, and match that page to your email address. But sometimes these server variables get blocked, so I don't think that's reliable.
Figure out which way you think may end up using, then we can work on the step by step.
Oh, and there's alwasy an option just to have the user select the Distributor from a list menu, make it a required field.

Moving some Inbox Emails to subfolders leaves a duplicate copy in the inbox

Hi All hope you can offer some advice on this strange issue we are having.
We have recently installed a SBS2011 server. During installation I updated Exchange to SP3 (which we always do)
We created .PST for each user and imported email using powershell - all Imported across successfully.
The one user have 4gb of email which is made up of inbox and subfolders.
The issue we are having is this -
When this user attempts to move an email by either Drag n Drop or Rt Click and MOVE to folder - the email appears in the moved folder but also stays in the Inbox (in effect creating a duplicate)
Now - If I then move the one that appears in the sub folder to another folder - it moves without leaving a duplicate in the original subfolder ......... the one in the inbox is still there though.
I tried logging off and back in - the email is still in both places.
I deleted the one in the sub folder and the one in the inbox disappears as well ??
I have tried it in OWA and Outlook 2013 and the problem still occurs.
I have tried sending a 3mb email into the admin account and re-creating the issue -- but this seems to work fine...
So in summary - its only happening on some emails for some users ...
Can anyone suggest a starting point for this.... I know its real strange behaviour for email and something i have never come across before

Hi -
This is what I have tried as advised.
1. Created a new .PST file of a users account using outlook 2013
2. Tested that all files move ok when opening the .pst ---- YES they do
3. Deleted emails from users Exchange account using powershell
4. Opened Outlook and confirmed all emails were gone - YES all empty.
5. Re-Imported from local .PST file using outlook on the PC to Import into mail account.
6. Once all folders are updated - tested the emails that were causing problems moving - Problem still the same.
I have checked Exchange and can confirm that this is Exchange 2010 SP3 with Rollup 7 (so culdnt get any more up to date)
Can anyone else please offer any advice / Tips?
Remember this only happens on some emails in the inbox ....some emails move just fine.
The ones that seem to create a duplicate - if I delete from either the inbox or the folder then both go ...so its almost as if its a ghost copy being created......i'm flummoxed though for sure..

When I try to send a link to a page from Safari, I get a message saying that sending the message to the server failed. It places a copy in the outbox. All other email and safari functions work properly. Ipad 2 IOS 7.1

My Ipad2 works fine except when I try to email myself a link to a safari webpage. I get an error message saying that the message failed to connect to the server. It says that a copy of the message has been left in the outbox. I cannot get the message from the outbox. All other email and safari functions work as expected.
I have cleared data and cookies, powered down, and done a reset. Nothing seems to help.

Typing in additional text seems to get the job done. This seems to be a feature of the latest IOS update, I have never had the problem before the last update.
I use the box with the arrow just to the left of the URL block at the top of the page to send myself links to pages of interest. Adding the extra text seems like a pointless step, but it does work.

How can I copy an email address from the form results while online?

Our form contains a field where the users submitted their email address. But I am not able to mouse over this data in the "View Responses" tab, and copy the email address by selecting the email address and Ctrl C, and neither can I right-click this data field and copy it.
Our organization just switched to Microsoft Office 365, and "mailto" links on web pages can no longer be clicked to launch a native desktop email client program. So the users tasked with responding to forms submitted via Formscentral now have a much harder workflow. They are compelled to download the data as a spreadsheet, just to be able to cut and paste an email address into their reply email.
I suggest and request that the Flash-based "View Responses" tab be modified to allow email addresses to be selectable and able to be copied to the "clip board". This would allow users who can't execute a clickable mailto link to copy and paste the email address from Formscentral into a new email. Many organizations like mine are moving away from native client-based email programs like Outlook to save money, in favor of cloud based SAS web-based email like Office 365.
Is there some other way to enable mailto links where no client email program is installed on the users PC?

While I am still looking for a better answer, I've discovered a way to cut and paste email addresses from the FormsCentral "View Responses" dashboard. I wrote up the instructions to help our users and thought I'd share them in this forum as well.
But it would be nice if there was a simpler solution... Can anyone offer a better way?

) Select “Filter by: …” Doing this will change the view to show only entries that were sent from the selected email address.
) And it will display the Filter in the header of the form.
) Left-click on the email address displayed in the filtered results, in the header of the form.
) A new sub-form will appear, and the email address can be cut and pasted from this new sub-form. Highlight the email address and hit “Ctrl C”, or right-click and select copy.
) Now you can paste the email address into a new email in Office 365. (Ctrl V) or right-click and select “Paste”
) Click the “Clear” button and then “OK” to exit the filtered view of the data.

You can get copies of receipts for anything ordered through the Apple Store in the past 18 months.
Go to the store, clock on Your Account, and log in.
Click View Your Orders.
Pick the appropriate time from the View Your Orders menu on the right.
Click View Order Details on the purchase you are interested in.
At the top of the order detail page, click "Login with your Apple ID to make changes to your order."
Finally, you'll see a "Print all invoices" link at the top of that page. The receipt will be marked as a duplicate.

I'd really like to see my own emails come back to me in the conversation so that I know where my remarks fall in the discussion; it's very disorienting when you can't tell if your email has arrived at the list, or not. It's both gmail and mac.com email accounts, and it's all email lists -- including some privately hosted on servers, that are not Google groups, not Yahoo groups.
I'm not sure what you mean by "saving a copy of your messages yourself" in Mail -- if I email to the lists with Mail on my laptop or iPad, I can see it on my desktop computer too, right in line with other email messages in the thread, after the list resends the message I've submitted. It's only Thunderbird that this "invisible posts" behavior happens, and it didn't use to happen this way. I used to get my emails posting right in the thread.

With IE, this is not a problem. With Firefox, when I copy part of a spreadsheet and paste it to an email, when the email is sent, the person receiving the email does not get the information from the spreadsheet - it disappears??

If I'm right about that, I'm still not really clear at all about what you're doing. Where are you importing these songs and albums from? Is it existing songs files and if so, what format are they in?

I have the copy of the form coming to my main email but I need it to go to a second email address. right now the 2nd email address only gets a link. I do not want them to have access to the account only to get a copy of the data. I have them set up under Email Notifications as a "reader".

I want to copy only the email address from Mail, not the name and email

When I get an email I want to be able to copy ONLY the email address and NOT the name.
Before I would click on an email, click on the email address and paste the email address to a list.
Now I do that and I get the name AND the email address, which makes me edit out the name every time. UGH.
