Email notifications not being received

Email notifications are not being received every time a customers submits data. We stopped receiving notifications after the email came about shutting down the service. We have a half dozen forms live on the web and none of them are sending out notifications. One example is located at Online Complaint | ORCAA. Nothing has changed from the backend and both email addresses that should receive notifications are verified.
I submitted data to the form and received a notification, but not the 2 email addresses that are listed on the FormsCentral backend. The Adobe domain is whitelisted with GApps.
Thoughts?

I've tested your form a bit and it seems that email receipts are working. For me to test email notifications I would need to be a co-author. If you can add me to one of the problem forms I will investigate further and let you know what I find.

    I am using a @me.com email address and I have tried to send a photo to myself and this has still not been come through.

    Do you have iPhoto setup to email the photos itself or use Mail to email the photos?

  • Email Templates not being received by btinternet.c...

    We are having several issues with emails not being received when sent to btinternet.com addresses.
    The system we use to send the emails is monitored by send grid, which states the emails have been sent, but we are getting reports that the emails aren't being received through btinternet.com. We have checked the dns settings and checked spam folders and nothing is coming through. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    If you have a search through the forum you will see it appears to be a common problem without resolution currently. Having a valid SPF record for the sending domain may help but has not always worked. It appears BT's new mail provider (Openwave formerly Critical Path) are not very good and are being unnecessarily agressive with their anti-spam measures.

    I have two Mac Mini Servers - both running 10.6.5
    One server is within my LAN and behind an Apple Airport Extreme which is acting as a router.
    The other server is collocated and has a direct connection to the internet. It is running the standard OS X Server firewall service to protect it.
    I am having trouble getting the second server (with the direct connection to the internet) to send out alert emails (ie - as configured through Server Admin/settings/Alerts). I receive emails from the first server just fine.
    Am assuming it is a firewall configuration issue - but I have tried turning off the firewall briefly and testing it - but it still doesn't work. The same applies to emails sent from within packages such as Joomla and Drupal (ie - new account emails)
    Any ideas anyone?

    I really needed to get this working, so I have spent the last few days frantically searching for solutions and 'think' I have got it working.
    Before I tell you how - a caveat. I am no expert by any means - so please tread carefully!
    It seems that (and please correct me if I am wrong any experts that happen to be reading this) the mail service is actually used to send the notifications. I had switched this off to test, but it seems as if it starts momentarily when needed to send the notification then shuts down if it is not used for a while.
    Therefore, the mail service does need to be configured. I don't use my server as an email server, so I only configured SMTP (not POP, nor IMAP) within mail.
    So, within server admin :
    go to the mail service for your server
    Stop the mail service.
    Settings tab - then general
    Set domain name & host name to the domain name of your server (including subdomain)
    Tick "Enable SMTP"
    Un-tick "allow incoming mail", "Hold outgoing mail", "Relay outgoing mail" etc.
    Start the mail service.
    Then give it a try! You can always type echo "Hello" | mail -s "Test" youremailaddress at a command line to test.
    Make sure your firewall is not blocking (I guess) port 25 outbound. I momentarily switched off my firewall service to test. Also, it could be that your ISP themselves block port 25 to stop people setting up mail servers.
    One thing I found (through trial and error) is that if something is not correctly set up - it may work the first few times - but then stop with an error in the log (look in the SMTP Logs from within the mail service). This led to a few false dawns - but it has been running for 40 minutes and is still going. I now receive email notifications and my Drupal sites can send mail.
    I went through a lot of trial and error / editing php.ini and main.cnf (to no avail) before getting this to work!

  • Email & Messages not being received promptly

    I recently updated to 8.0.2 and since then I have not been able to receive messages and emails promptly.  I have checked my setting for notification on locked screen and it is set to on. The only way I can get them is to to it manually.  I have also checked the automatic button in settings. This is aggravating me!  Can someone help please!

    The way you would be able to get the replies to your mobile device is by logging into My Verizon and refer over to Vtext.com. Then when a message is sent to you, go into the check text status tab, select the radio button for receiving your reply to your mobile device.     My settings are fine.  I believe the issue is because there is a typo in the email address to the person I am trying to send the email to.  I am trying to open the email to correct typo but every time I try to open the email I get a message saying, "Cannot open email, email is being sent."  I also cannot delete this email either.

  • External email suddenly not being received

    I have read through a bunch of these, but can't seem to find exactly what I have going on.
    The server consistently stops receiving email from outside the domain after about an hour of restarting it. I found that restarting the microsoft exchange transport service fixes it in the same way that restarting the server does.
    This issue began after I ran windows update on the mail server, then updated the exchange certificate. I rolled this back to troubleshoot with no luck; it had been reporting that the ssl cert was about to expire in the system logs; i tried to self sign temporarily.
    I notice the backup system (unitrends) isn't succeeding every night. It throws errors every morning that says this: "(id 19364) Unable to perform backup operation, detecting that selected 'Microsoft Exchange Writer' is in failed state!" Is this
    related? The whole server seems fubar to me.
    Does anyone have any kind of material to help me troubleshoot this? Strangely, I can restart the transport service and it will receive external email for a few hours before pooping out again.

    If I run a test on the microsoft remote connectivity analyzer, it says there isn't enough storage (see below for report). Looking at the hard drives, the previous admin has cut it up into 4 sections. System (c:) 54gb/3gb free; exchange info store (e:)499gb/180gb

    Your system drive is way too small. Either increase it( virtual? ), clear out some space, or move the transport database to another drive with space:

  • My emails are not being received by recipient

    Two of my daughters have cox.net. Starting as long a go as November 3rd, they have not received any of my emails. At first it was only from the "Mail" application, but now it includes MobileMe.
    Anyone have a clue what the problem could be????

    Try setting up another email address in, say Gmail, and send a test email from that account to your daughter's account and see if it works. If it does, then set Gmail up in Mail.app and see if that works. If it does, then it might be your SMTP server, I have had the same issue.
    If it doesn't, then it could be a spam issue, but trying a couple of test emails from another mail address when you're on the phone with them should be pretty easy to test. You can have them set up another email temporary address and see if that works too. You can at least that way see if it's your problem or their problem. Gmail has a nice feature where they have an "All Mail" folder that collects everything unless it's specifically been deleted or marked as spam from Gmail, so it's easy to see if they mail actually was sent and has arrived.
    Gmail also works very well with Mail.app, a big advantage.

  • Emails are not being received if sent from iPhone or iPad, but MBA OK

    I've used my iPhone and iPad a lot to send messages to various email addresses at a specific company.  They've always gone through without problem, but suddenly they're not coming through.  They aren't in the SPAM folder and haven't been quarantined either.  Messages sent from my MacBook Air go through successfully.
    It doesn't matter which email account I send the message through, what the content is, or who I send it to.  No one else is having problems sending emails from their iPhones or iPads.

  • Updated to iOS 8.1- sent emails are not being received

    I updated to iOS 8.1 and have now found that when I send emails from my iPhone (a 5S), the only place they arrive is on that same iPhone.  I run Yosemite on my Mac, and the emails I send from the iPhone don't arrive, and I send them to others with different systems and they don't get them either.
    I noticed that there were many people who reported this back when they  updated to iOS 7, although I never had that problem.  Nor did I have it under iOS 8 until I did the 8.1 update.

  • I'm being asked to enter my ID password on my ipad for icloud, but the email is no longer active and reset remails are not being received.

    I'm being asked to enter my ID pswd on my ipad 2 for icloud. but the email address and ID are no longer being used, and reset emails are not being received. How can I deactivate this? I have another ID which works fine, but this issue with the old ID is not allowing me to use my ipad.  thanks.

    If your iPad is signed into an old ID and you are trying to change it, if the old ID is yours, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

  • ICloud email with hyperlink not being received

    I have tried several times to send an email with a link to a tumblr blog and it is not being received by the recipients.
    It is in my sent items and I have not received a notification to say it has not been sent. If I send the same email without the hyperlink they recieve it.
    What is stopping this email from being sent properly and why am I not receiving a notification to say otherwise.

    It's probably being caught by a spam filter somewhere along the way. Spam filters don't usually send notifications to the alleged sender or the nominal recipient.

  • Random email not being received

    Have been running into a strange issue with my iCloud email address the past week or so.  Some email that is being sent to me is not arriving.  Here is what I've been looking at.
    Missing email is not being filtered to another folder.
    Missing email is not in my junk mail folder
    A single sender can deliver many emails, only some of which arrive.  Have tried this with several other non-iCloud email addresses which I own and verified that not all email is being received.
    Senders of the email which never arrive do not receive any automated delivery failure noticies.
    the account still has a me.com address - but it has been migrated to iCloud.
    Really ***** because I've only just completed a migration away from gmail.  If I can't rely on iCloud to receive email I'm going to have to go through the hassle of getting another address and notifying everyone.
    Anyone have any thoughts? 

    I have exactly the same problem, and (for me at least) it is server-side. Sean, a senior adviser for iCloud support, has been looking into it since 8th May but no luck so far. Some emails come through but others don't: of the 19 emails sent from [email protected] to discuss the issue, for instance, only 4 have come through to my mac.com iCloud account. The remainder have only gone to my backup account. I think this might be the same problem this user is having:
