Email Response Tracking

Hello friends,
I have a requirement to implement Email Response Tracking.
When a email campaign is executed, I would like to see the response like how many people accessed the link, How many did buy the product using the link, How many people did not open the mail/did not open the link?
I have come across Response Tracking. Please see the below link
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm60/helpdata/en/2b/a85bd37c854cdebfaca00bcae6c4cb/frameset.htm
I am little confused with the process like how to insert the PRC in the mail form?
How the Implemetation of the Badi CRM_MKT_PRC_CONVERT will be called?
Please share your ideas on how to achieve this, If any one of you have implemented this/have knowledge on this.
Many Thanks,
Srinivasu

Hello experts,
Can you please tell me how to use and get the details like how many people have actually opened the mails and how many are bounced using response ID and Response code. I can see the insert Response ID Response Code fields in the mail form Web UI.
I need to work alone on this. We don't have a BW consultant. Guide me if there is any need for the BW configuration to make this work.
Lets say that the number range has been created for the Response ID.
Does the system automatically convert the Response ID to Alpha numeric form? or do we need to implement a BAdI?
How will get to know how many people have opened the email in which the respose ID has been inserted?
I have not found much details about the response tracking?
If you can help me fix this, It would be of great help.
Many Thanks,
Srinivasu

  • Email Response Time Tracking

    Hello good afternoon everyone.
I am told that we need to start tracking our customer email response time from the customer service emails into our shared Outlook mailbox which is maintained by three membes of staff.
I do not think we can do this with any the add-ins from Outlook and none of my IT colleagues in our Global Group currently appear to have this setup.  I have found some free software on the net but none so far that fits the bill.  Does Microsoft
partner any software houses producing software of this nature either free add-ons or reasonably priced, about which someone could advise me please?
We use Exchange through O365 with E3 licences, our mail is synchronized with our Active Directory which is also synchronised through our European Group FM servers
    Many thanks
    Kind regards, Nickowiz

    Hi Nickowiz,
According to your description, I understand that you want to track the respond time between service people and customer by E-mail.
If I misunderstand your concern, please do not hesitate to let me know.
We can use Message Transport log, Protocol log or other Exchange log to monitor inbound and outbound message. Those tools usually used for mail flow troubleshooting.
Unfortunately, those tools cannot intelligent query all message with same sender, recipient, subject and so on conditions, then generate a form or list.
This function may be achieved by script. More details about Exchange Script, please refer to relevant forums:
    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/scriptcenter/dd742246.aspx
By the way, this forum is related to Exchange server. Please contact Office 365 Team so that you can get more professional suggestions, for your reference:

  • Must invitees send an email response for their attendance status to be recorded?

Here is the scenario: Server is Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 SP2 and client is Outlook 2010
    - You use Microsoft Outlook to schedule a meeting and invite attendees.
    - The attendees accept or decline the meeting but some choose NOT
    to send their meeting responses.
    - In the tracking for the calendar event, only those who actually emailed a response are updated.
Is this the expected behavior? Exchange uses email to track invitation responses? We have many people who accept meeting invitations but choose not to send a response to reduce overall email clutter. Anecdotally, I hear this was not the case in earlier versions
    of Exchange.
    Thank you.

    Hi,
If we are talking about the Meeting Tracking window in Calendar, the status will be updated when the attendee sends a response. If the attendee doesn't send the response, which means Outlook doesn't get an answer, then Tracking information won't
    be updated.
Assuming the organizer knows the attendees have accepted the request, he can switch to the tracking page then click in the Response field and select a response.

  • Response Tracking with Hyperlinks - Reporting?

I have setup a mail form with response tracking on the hyperlink.  When the URL is generated from the email, I can see the MIG and GUID in the URL definition.   I then log into the CRM WebUI (CRM7.0) and I execute the report Marketing Contact Summary and I can see that there is a track on the URL of "5", which I am guessing means that the URL was opened 5 times, but is there any other information tracked with this, such as what time or day the URL was clicked on?

    Hi Madhav,
You can customise the ERMS rule modler  by creating the ERMS New policy in the PCUI application (Rule modler)  for the Email routing category for the default service manager profile you can go to the transaction code crmc_pcuitools and select the rule modler under which select the Email routing as category for the service manager profile to be called and can create the new polocy with node and subnodes and you can define the incoming  email address as well .  do mention  your email id so that i can  send the config steps document for the same.
pl do reward points if helpful

  • Map File name in BPM to email response

    I have a scenario I am working:
File FTP -> FTP -> RFC
The file is deleted off initial server and pulled into our landscape to Processing server, then processed into SAP via RFC.  I wish for an email response to send on pass/fail of interface.
This is all done and executing as expected with pass/fail message in body of email, received in inbox - no problem.
    However, one thing is missing....
When the file is first processed, the File name is deleted and renamed with a time and date stamp (not ideal, but I got this working) is added when the file is created on receiving server.  I am using a BPM to do the file send mapping and email response.
I wish to map the initial file name to the new file name, and then process then add time/date stamp when placed into Archive folder.  I would like the email to have the original name oif the file in the Subject line of the email, if possible....
Has anyone done something similar?  Can you point me in the right direction?

    Hi,
You can do this using Adapter specific identifiers in receiver CC. You can get the same filename as your source file.
    Blog: /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/11/10/xi-the-same-filename-from-a-sender-to-a-receiver-file-adapter--sp14
Go thro this thread as well for more details: Target file of the same name as source file
Then in BPM, add one more send step for a file receiver CC and place the file in the archive directory with timestamp.

    P.Venkat.

  • Edit text in an email response

How do I edit an email response to someone when using mac mail?

Do you mean Apple's Mail program?

  • Any advice on creating standard email responses

I have been trying to figure a way to create standard email response templates for FAQ incoming emails.  I have tried using signatures to do this but my email formatting is all FUBARed if I try to change anything.  I am just using standard email with macbook pro.

I already tweaked everything in the "little" sequences, and I already rendered all of them separately. I was asking regarding something additional in terms of putting them together in the final sequence that I might be not aware of...
Then all you need to do is create a new Sequence (with the same settings) and drag the "little" Sequences from the Browser to the new Sequence.
I have read somewhere in the past that when you export a QT movie while working in DV (and I do work in DV) the very export to QT somehow degrades every transition and composition of your clips,; basically, I understood that anything but a straight clip (any effect, transition, composition, etc.) is loosing up to 50% of its quality while being made into the Quick Time movie
What you read was probably referring to exporting "Using QuickTime Conversion" ... not "QuickTime Movie." The File-Export->QuickTime Movie export choice provides a 100% exact copy of your Sequence. The File-Export->Using QuickTime Conversion choice can degrade the quality, dependent on the settings you choose.

  • Clip duration metadata in an email response

[duration] value will not pass to email via email response even if I map the timecode value to a custom field - be it a timecode value or string. Anyone figured this out yet. AppleCare thinks it may be a bug - workarounds anyone?

Do you mean Apple's Mail program?

  • Final Cut Server Email Response Issues...

I'm having trouble with email responses.
Basically I've created a number of file system watchers that are looking for creation/modification of files that have been compressed using Episode Engine (in the monitors folder). The entire monitors folder is a device - each encoding subfolder is watched. The response is to send a generic email that says the encoding job has completed.
They've always worked (some minor kinks) then all of a sudden they stopped. The response is never triggered. It's almost like the watcher has given up. I've tried creating new watchers - I've modified the response. I'm out of ideas.
    Anyone have any thoughts?

    \# touch *
That will hit everything in the folder but will not go into subdirectories. There is not a built in command for making touch recursive, but you could get the same effect by invoking touch with this find string:
    \# find "<path to files>" -type f -exec touch '{}' \;
That will refresh the timestamp on every file in that directory tree.

  • Cannot Change Identities / Email where Submit button emails responses to

I have created, entiriely, in LiveCycle a form. When it is distributed it AUTOMATICALLY inserts my own email to where the repsonses go to. Cannot - REPEAT CANNOT- Alter it.
THIS IS NOT THE SUBMIT BUTTON THAT YOU PUT INTO A FORM.
This is the "Submit" that is automatically generated and put into the PDF TAB when a form is distributed.
I've gone into Acrobat / LiveCycle and changed "identies" but the response STILL goes to my Email. It NEVER picks up my changed Identity - and shows my own email and not the one I want responses sent to.
Rebooted after chainging Identities  - STILL goes to my email.
Edited in the Acrobat - STILL - goes to my email - SUBMIT button (automatically created when you distribute the form) ALWAYS says to send to my email.
Edit the options/properties to change - MY EMAIL IS GREYED OUT AND CANNOT ALTER IT IN THE DISTIBUTON panel where you can select options as how the form is distrubited - selecting EMAIL response to form submission.
It ALWAYS SHOWS my Active Directoy LOGON ID as the form OWNER - CANNOT CHANGE IT.
We are IN an Active Directory environemnt and my logon account has NO RIGHTS to change MASTER registry Win7 entries at all - only (like normal) my own preferences - BUT LIVE CYCLE / ADOBE DOES NOT CHANGE ANYTHING with email at all concerning the auto email sent to portion. I can change "sent by" but NOT who I want responses sent to.
Cannot FIND at all any XML preferences file in registry / file system to hack and manually change it.
You look at the XML data in the form and it shows my email address - AND ALL XML data is BLOCKED from being edit at all in the form - and NO idea where it is pulling this information from.
Is there ANY WAY at all to change --- WITHOUT WRITING ANY CODE - to alter where a distributed form is to send email repsonses to.
CANNOT, REPEAT CANNOT - use any cloud, online or any external source at all. Cannot use Acrobat.com.
    Thanks,
    Tom

The email address is coded into the server script file that processes the form data.
Look for the below file on the server and see if you can open it and locate the email address. It's a Cold Fusion file

    Hi All,

I have a couple of queries...
    1) How can i remove the submit:Send Message button from the reply.
    2) I would like to add formatting options to the reply so the questions are bold and the answer is in normal text. Also i would like to add a line between each section so that each section is clearer to read and less clustered. I have read about HTML email responses but I am unsure if this is the best option for me to use.

    Hi,
Tap Settings / Mail, Contacts, and Calendars / Preview. Try 2 or 3 or more lines then reseting your iPad.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
See if that makes a difference.
