Email Warning

My daughter has a Z10 and has today received this email:-
Your mailbox has exceeded the storage limit 2.GB Established by the administrator is currently 2.30GB, can not send or receive new messages until you re-validate your e-mail
Click the link below to validate your e-mail
http://webupgradesystem00.webs.com/
thank you
system administrator
Has anybody else got one of these. The domains do not seem to exist and she has never had messages like this before on her previous Blackberries and her email is off my domain and she is set to unlimited space, so it this a spam email or is it something connected to the Z10

This is spam email. Disregard the email as if its a authentic from blackberry it won't be coming from a 3rd party link. If Blackberry inbox is full it will auto delete older messages. or you will get a notification from the phone itself and not from a email.

  • How to send password expiration email warning- (Set in password Policies)

I tried creating a password policy and linked it with a resource object (iPlanet Directory Server). Its working fine. But I am not getting the email warning notification before the password actually expires.
I am not sure as to how the checkbox that I checked while creating the policy i.e, "Warn after---- days" , works.
Can anybody help me and detail me the process as to what and how should I do to send an email warning notification for the user whose password will expire in few days.
    Thanks in Advance.

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now.  About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

  • Email warning message...does this mean my bt email...

I had a spate of these email warning messages (oddly enough AFTER bt had prompted me to change my password).  Then I had a complaint from a friend about receiving emails - purportedly from me - promoting some website.  Ran a virus scan.  All quiet.
    I've just got another one.
"This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent has not yet been delivered to one or more of its
recipients after more than 48 hours on the queue on lserver.vanessacox.com"
which is different from the previous message, which was:
"This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent has not yet been delivered to one or more of its
recipients after more than 48 hours on the queue on mercury.anticlown.com"
Does this mean my account has been hacked twice now??  Or what?  And what should I do about it?
    Help?
    Thanks.
    **Here today....blonde tomorrow**

The email that you had "from BT", areyou sure it was from BT. Did you click on links within the email to change your passwrod. If you did it was possible that the email was a phishing email and that by doing the password change you gave the hackers access to your email account and all you contacts details.
You should have a read through this link and follow the instructions and check that there is no forwarding email addresses set up etc. Change your password and security questions.
    http://bt.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/39411/?s_intcid=con_L1:Technical help:L2:Email or security:sab:locked
The hacker will now have your contacts details and can use them at will and spoof your email address which will make any emails they send appear as though they have come from you. There is not much you can do about that now other than start using a new email address and tell your contacts to delete any emails that come from your hacked address.

  • N97 - Email warning not working?

Have config. my email on the device, settings to use my wireless homenetwork  as the only access point and the profile using warning tone which is set to on. However, when sending email to my account not warning signal is given on the device telling me the subject and giving me the opportunity to connect to the mailbox and retrieve the mail through my wireless nw. I am able to manually connect without receiving a warning, however this is not how it is supposed to function.
Anyone any idea if this is a bug or have anyone managed to get this warning via wireless home network to work, or even via the internet network? Have reported this to Nokia and they never heard of the problem.

    The problem is:
I am not receiving a notice (ie. warning) on my phone whenever there is a mail on the server.
I used this function on my Navigator 6710 without any problem. If I have to manually connect me to the server to check if there is any mail I don't see why I should do this as long  as I am in my house and can do this on the PC. Let me clearify with an example: I am sitting by the TV and my PC is in another room. Whenever an email is received on my PC I will get a warning tone on my phone device. Then I know that I have to check the mail either on my PC or on my phone.
I do not know how to explain this better. Still unclear??

  • Email: Warning Account Name Already Exists

The other day when I clicked on my mail app (not the yahoo mail app) I got the sign in screen. I clicked on Yahoo. Signed in and I keep getting this message "Warning: The acct name already exists." The app on my screen says I have 99+ emails but I can't check them. Help?

Yes, that didn't work.  I called Verizon Wireless and finally got it back up and running correctly.  Here are the steps:
    1. make sure contacts are backed up through backup assistant (see contacts on your account)
    2. power down
    3. remove battery and card under battery (sim card?), replace battery and power on
    4. pull up settings, SD and phone storage, Factory data reset, reset phone
    5. follow prompts, power phone
    6. add mail accounts back
    7. replace card under battery
    8. power back
Everything appears and mail is back in business
I am so happy.  This has been so frustrating for at least a month now.  I should have called instead of visiting the store.

  • Account Temporarily Deactivated, Phishing email warning!!

I would just like to warn fellow users about a suspicious email received from the email: ([email protected]) which states that my account has been temporarily deactivated due to "Billing Information associated with your account is either invalid or out of date." when no such info is out of date or invalid. Clicking on the link it provides for verification leads you to the website (http://apple.app-idma.com/user/login/wr3o3Npm6GphSNuLX0Zgk4wOwVrFc4uM6uDwAqOw4h9 4AEJIQ8x7kyiL0iZmsiv8bCGmMyGMRP7IQknLzbiALaZYfpjDr8RcuJrkSz3i6uLhPxewCDqVATC4ALa TQt/login/) which looks suspiciously like a phishing scandal due to no links on the website working and strange domain name.
I would advise that people delete this email immediately and alerting apple support.
If I could be given an apple support address which I could forward this email to, that would be great.

  • Email warning following "Sleep" status

Only slightly annoying but everytime I take the machine out of "sleep" status, up comes a BT broadband help box saying I am unable to receive emaills and do I want any help? I click cancel and click the box "remind me later" and it goes away. There is nothing wrong with the emails after Sleep. I use Windows Live Mail. How do I eliminate the warning message please? Broadband Help is not included in my Start Up programmes so that cannot be the problem.

Broadband help sits in the background, whether its in your startup group or not. If it causes too many problems, then uninsall it.

I received an email supposedly from Apple asking me to verifying my account and when I clicked on the link it took me to http://belezasemprebela.com.br/imagens/admin/compte/bbced1ce1803e55530d65c83ea8e 2344/. I did NOT fill in any information but was wondering how widespread this is.

  • Constant guard bot warning??

Got an email warning from Comcast today about a possible bot infection detected by constant guard. I have a mbpro, Apple TV and a couple iPads/iPhones. I always run scans using virus barrier and they are always clean.  I have a closed network that is password protected and Wpa2.  They only thing that changed was last night I opened up my guest network for my fantasy draft and had 12 new devices on it (all pc). Was wondering if any knew if all the new traffic would have caused this or if there may really be an issue with my mbpro. Just find it very coincidental that the warning email would come right after my draft. At help is appreciated. Thanks

It's a Comcast scam to get you to install "free" anti-virus software which you'll later be charged to "upgrade."

  • How can I unsync my default email with my notes app?

Turning off notes under email warns that I will lose my note info from iPad. I just want to separate my Notes as personal and confidential. How can I do this?

    No app is required.
    - If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
    - You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
    - If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
    - Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
    - There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.
