Empty Recipients in Draft

Hi,
we will generate mail drafts for our employees with this code.
Code:
GroupwareTypeLibrary.Application5 objGWSession = new GroupwareTypeLibrary.Application5();
GroupwareTypeLibrary.Account objAccount = default (GroupwareTypeLibrary.Account);
objAccount = objGWSession.MultiLogin("Username", "/ipa-192.168.0.1 /ipp-1677", "Password", "", "");
GroupwareTypeLibrary.Messages objMessages = objAccount.WorkFolder.Messages;
objMessage.Subject.PlainText = "Sample Message " + DateTime.Now;
objMessage.BodyText.PlainText = "Details";
objMessage.Attachments.Add("SomeFile", Type.Missing);
objMessage.Recipients.Add("[email protected]", "", "");
objMessage.Recipients.Add("[email protected]", "", "");
All works fine. We generate mail darfts and subject, bodytext, attachments are okay. But the recipients are emtpy.
When i use objMessage.Send() the recipients are in the message and the mail go out correctly. But its import that the employee will check the mail for sending. so i will only create drafts. Any ideas?
Thx

Hi,
I have the same problem. Did you find any solution?
Thanks

  • Mars sending an email with an empty recipients.

    Dears,
    The CSMARS is sending an email notifications with an empty recipients and empty message-ID when an incident rule fired, so emails stuck in the exchange server and never reach any of the admin accounts, at the same time reports are sent correctly via emails.
    It is CS-MARS-20 and it is processing high number of events per second, i am not sure if this is a system failure or there something else, in the attachment you will find a sample of the emails sent by MARS, any troubleshooting tips will be great.
    Appreciate your help

    Hello Muhannad,
      From the Initial Conguration Guide:
    "One of the required settings for MARS is the  e-mail address for the system administrative account, pnadmin. The MARS  Appliance uses this e-mail address to deliver import notifications and  reports about system status"
      Have you configured the email settings for the System Administrative account?
      This link describes that procedure:

      Hope this helps.

  • Why is my drafts folder grey and unaccessible on iPad2? It is not empty, contains 1 draft.

    Hi,
    My drafts folder is completely grey and unaccessible despite the fact that it contains 1 draft. I would like to know how I can either force empty this folder or simply get access to it again (black rather than grey).
    The draft was created by the Dragon Dictation app which I thought I might mention but I have never had a problem accessing drafts before that I can remember.
    I have seen a discussion for ipad 1 where all she had to do was turn her ipad to portrait and it went back to black but this is not the case with my ipad2.
    Any help would be very greatly appreciated I am foxed by this problem.
    Many thanks,

  • Draft Documents View is empty for a specific user

    Hi,
    For a specific user, when he goes on the Document Draft Reports, the Sales Document sub-form is empty. Meaning that when he ticks the "Sales Documents" option, the boxes to choose specific Sales Document does not exist (e.g. Sales Quotation, Sales Orders etc.). This happens no matter what are the other options (e.g Open Only or User Option).
    The other lists (Purchasing and Stock) are working properly. Again, all the other users do not experience the same issue as the form is working properly
    The installation is on 2007A SP01
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Gerasimos.......
    I'm sure this is a Bug in your system. If you have any of the adons then please Disconnect it and also try to create new Super User and give him license and then check with this new user for the same output.......
    Else I'm afraid you need to raise a support ticket to SAP.......

  • Email seems to be sent, but it doesn't arrive. No 'unable to send' message, sent items and draft folders are empty. The mail disappears.

    Email seems to be sent, but it doesn't arrive. No 'unable to send' message, sent items and draft folders are empty. The mail disappears. I tried to fully turn off the iPad and have it restart. But it doesn't go off. I keep seeing the small white 'turning wheel' untill the battery is gone. After that, it works again (and so does the e-mail). This happens about every week. What can I do?

    *there's no reason to be paranoid*
    Says Mulder .
    Anyway, as I mentioned, I don't use any sync-able email, just a very plain-jane POP email provider. iSync reports no devices and has nothing in its log, which matches my never having installed anything in need of syncing.
    The thing is, if Mail says its sending something when nothing was ever sent, that's a largish bug whether it is actually sending something or isn't, and there isn't really enough info here to know which of those are the case. Maybe Mail just displays "Sending" because an attempt to do something reasonable is timing out, maybe it does an innocuous and normal POP thing using very confusing nomenclature, or maybe it's really trying to send something which has a wrong flag or something. There isn't really enough info to know what is going on, so I was hoping someone could identify the symptoms.

  • 'Concept' or 'Drafts' folder counts send messages, but folder empty (IMAP)

    In mail my 'concept' (dutch) or 'drafts' folder counter says there are messages in the folder, but the folder is empty.
    Everytime i send a message with mail, my concepts folder counts up. When going to my Webmail en delte the "drafts" folder, The whole folder is gone. But when sending a new message the folder appears again, and counting up for every new message witch is send.
    The folder is always empty, and the 'counter' disappears when looking in the folder but can appear again every moment.
    Synchronising the account doesn't help.
    Iam working on a Intel Imac, using a Imap server with 2 different accounts.

    You're welcome.
    There seems to be nothing amiss in your account folder, and from the description of what you did, it looks like trying to synchronize mail on both computers is indeed the cause of your problems. Synchronization of local mail data between computers by means of a file synchronization utility is a really bad idea if more than one computer is allowed to access mail between synchronizations.
    The most prominent issue is that Mail keeps a reference to every message within the ~/Library/Mail/ folder in a global Envelope Index file. If this file is modified in more than one computer between synchronizations, there is no way a file synchronization utility can handle the situation properly.
    Another, more subtle, and potentially more dangerous issue, is that Mail may use different *.emlx sequence numbers to name the same message in different computers or, worse yet, the same sequence number to name different messages in different computers. Again, the only thing a file synchronization utility can do about it is either overwrite files with the same name (thus potentially losing data) or not synchronize them at all.
    Mail data "synchronization" at the filesystem level can only be done reliably if it's a one-way operation, i.e. if the entire contents of the Mail folder in one of the computers are overwritten by the entire contents of the other, and even then it may not work properly because of the issues described here:
    Mac Backup Software Harmful
    You're going to have to re-create both the index and the entire contents of the .Mac account folder on both computers:
    1. Quit Mail.
    2. In the Finder, go to ~/Library/Mail/. Make a backup copy of this folder, just in case something goes wrong -- e.g. by dragging it to the Desktop while holding the Option (Alt) key down.
    3. Locate the Envelope Index file and move it to the Trash. If you see an Envelope Index-journal file there, delete it as well.
    4. Move any "Mac-" or "IMAP-" account folder (Mac-neilwedlake in your case) to the Trash. Note that you can do this with IMAP-type accounts because they store mail on the server and Mail can easily re-create them. Doing the same with "POP-" account folders would cause all mail stored there to be lost.
    5. Open Mail and proceed to re-create the index -- Mail says it's "importing", but it just re-creates Envelope Index if the mailboxes are already in Mail 2.x format.
    Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user's home folder.

  • First row is empty in draft document

    I have created a DI addon for posting a draft delivery document.  However, in each document there's a empty blank row.  I know that you only need to invoke the lines.add function for second plus rows so I have already made sure that I am not adding a new line on first add.  Any advice for you would much be appreciated.

    Hi Alan,
    The blank row that you are referring to, where is that line? Is it the last line in the document? If so, that is standard SBO practice. I tested your code and did the same in SBO itself. I create a Delivery draft with 3 lines and 4 lines are added to the document. The fourth line is the new line that is created automatically when you press tab. The reason is that you can add more lines to a draft document. As soon as you save that draft as an actual document, the last line gets deleted.
    Hope it helps,
    Adele

  • Previous Recipients List is Empty, But They Still Show Up

    OK, weird issue...
    Over the years my previous recipients list has gotten pretty junked up. I read on the forum if I wanted to start from scratch to delete the file in the ~/Library/Application Support/Address Book/ that contained the info. I did that, restarted and when I look at Mail in the Previous Recipients list (Window/Previous Recipients) it is empty. However, when I start to type an address in Mail it is still pulling some info from somewhere that is not in my address book. Any ideas out there?

    No one is smart enough to help me out on this one? I am sure someone has seen this!

  • Address Book Contacts and Mail Previous Recipients Missing/Empty/Deleted

    At one point yesterday, I was happily catching up on some email using Mail. All was well. I toggled a message as Junk and went to forward it to [email protected], which was, of course, in my Previous Recipients list. Only this time it wasn't. I noticed, too, in iChat, that all of my buddies had reverted to their IM screen names from their normal Address Book-based First Name/Last Name. So I opened Address Book (which had not been running), and it was empty!
    To the best of my recollection, though I have a .Mac account, there was no syncing that occurred during any of this. Worse, when I did a manual Sync to see if .Mac would restore my contacts, it didn't. My Address Book remained empty. Fortunately, it didn't propagate its emptiness to .Mac, which I checked via the Web.
    When I fired up my spare iBook, everything seemed fine, and a sync there didn't blow away anything.
    I found a few posts that recommended replacing my now empty AddressBook.data file with AddressBook.data.beforesave, which was large enough to seem like it might still have a lot of my contacts. I did this, and my Address Book and Previous Recipients were partially restored. The only problem is that the beforesave file was dated June 2004 and is missing all contact information over the past year and a half.
    What the heck happened?! Is there any better solution out there? Any thoughts on why .Mac wasn't able to restore the file? Also, what does Previous Recipients have to do with the Address Book data files?

    Is your iBook the way you want it? all of your addresses? if so maybe you could back up that database and replace the old one thats fallen to pieces. If you try that though theres no real chance I think of rebuilding that old one as far as I know. My entouage database was an all in one type of deal. when it fell apart, you lost everything. I went to the mac mail and address book after that. everything is in seperate folders with that stuff. usually I've only seen this on older running installs of OS X. Like there is a bunch of directory probs. then things gradually get goofier over time.
    Thats strange it doesn't want to import contacts to your computer.
    I'll ask around

  • "Previous Recipients" - empty and not working.

    The "Previous Recipients" function of Mail is not functioning for me.
    I have "auto-complete addresses" selected in Mail preferences but it doesn't offer suggetions as I type email addresses and my "Previous Recipients" window is entirely empty despite having sent loads of emails.
    Anyone got any experience of this and know what I need to do to get it functioning?
    Thanks in advance.

    OK. Take a look at the following article to better understand the issue you’re talking about:
    Recover from renaming your Home folder
    As to the Previous Recipients issue, I don’t really know what could be the problem, but I’d try re-creating the Address Book database:
    1. If you have a .Mac account and .Mac synchronization of Address Book data is enabled either in Address Book > Preferences > General or in System Preferences > .Mac, disable it before proceeding.
    2. You may also need to reset the entire sync history (iSync > Preferences > Reset Sync History) to avoid synchronization issues if you use .Mac or iSync to synchronize your Address Book with other computers or devices.
    3. Open Address Book.
    4. As an extra safety measure, do File > Back up Address Book and save the backup wherever you wish.
    5. Go to Address Book > Preferences > vCard, set the vCard Format to 3.0 and check Export notes in vCards. Close the Preferences window when done.
    6. Select the All group in the main Address Book window and do File > Export Group vCard (the command should read “Export Group vCard”, not just “Export vCard”).
    7. Quit Address Book, Mail, and any other application that might use Address Book for something. Or just quit all applications to be on the safe side.
    8. In the Finder, go to ~/Library/Application Support/ and move the entire AddresBook folder out of there, e.g. to the Desktop (to be deleted after fixing the problem and making sure you don’t miss anything).
    9. Check whether the problem is fixed now. If it is, you may be able to restore your contacts without the problem happening again by opening Address Book and doing File > Import > vCards to import the previously exported cards back into Address Book.
    10. If the problem has been fixed and .Mac synchronization of Address Book data was enabled at the beginning, enable it again, go to System Preferences > .Mac > Advanced, click Reset Sync Data, and choose the appropriate options to reset the Address Book data stored on the .Mac server with the data locally stored on the computer, i.e. sync data must flow from the computer to the .Mac server.
    Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder, i.e. ~/Library is the Library folder within the user’s home folder.

  • Previous Recipients List won't stay emptied

    I have been trying to get old addresses out of my Apple Mail "Previous Recipients" list without success.  I have deleted individual addresses, and even ALL addresses from the list and when I close Mail and restart everything is back in place as if I didn't do anything at all.
    Interestingly enough, the last used dates on all of these addresses cover the time period from when I first got my iMac (year 2007) to the most recent address having a date of 3/22/2009.
    I have an Intel-based iMac, running with OS Lion, all software is current, and I use Time Machine to back up on an external hard drive.  I also have an iCloud account, and sync things with my iPad and iPhone.
    Any help would be appreciated.  I have looked at the other postings on this kind of problem, most  of which appear to be old and not applicable.
    Suggestions??

    Repairing the permissions of a home folder in Lion is a complicated procedure. I don’t know of a simpler one that always works.
    Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the page that opens.
    Drag or copy – do not type – the following line into the Terminal window, then press return:
    chmod -R -N ~
    The command will take a noticeable amount of time to run. When a new line ending in a dollar sign ($) appears below what you entered, it’s done. You may see a few error messages about an “invalid argument” while the command is running. You can ignore those. If you get an error message with the words “Permission denied,” enter this:
    sudo !!
    You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up.
    Next, boot from your recovery partition by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
    When the recovery desktop appears, select Utilities ▹ Terminal from the menu bar.
    In the Terminal window, enter “resetpassword” (without the quotes) and press return. A Reset Password window opens.
    Select your boot volume if not already selected.
    Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
    Under Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs, click the Reset button.
    Select  ▹ Restart from the menu bar.

    Recently, I have discovered a problem when sending an email using the Groupwise API that the draft message created before delivery is placed in the Trash. Set objGW = createobject("NovellGroupwareSession")
    Set objAcct = objGW.Login()
    objMsg = objAcct.Mailbox.Messages.Add()
    objMsg.Subject = "Test"
    objMsg.BodyText.PlainTest = "This is a test."

    When I am writing an email, I get an alert message that says “The message could not be copied or moved to the drafts folder. Writing to the folder failed. To gain disc space, choose Empty Deleted and choose Compact Folders and try again.”

    Because the location for each song in your library is on your hard drive.  If the hard drive isn't there, how can iTunes play it?
    You'll have to move/copy the music from your hard drive to your computer's hard drive.
    Basically, EASIEST way to do all this, if you don't care about your play counts, etc...
    -Delete EVERYTHING from iTunes, so that your library is now empty.
    -Go to "Advanced" inside of the "Preferences" window, found in the "Edit" drop-down.  You can also access Preferences by pressing Ctrl+, (Press Ctrl and the comma key)
    -Change your iTunes Media Folder Location to something simple, but on your computer. I use C:/iTunes.  Make sure "Keep iTunes Media Folder Organized" and "Copy files to...." are both checked.  You can close Preferences now.
    -Now, drag and drop your music from your hard drive into your iTunes library.  iTunes will automatically add the music to your library, as you would expect, and also creates a copy of each file to place into that iTunes Media Folder you just created.
    Shouldn't have any more problems...
