Emtpy 'AppModel' in workspace (after include frompublicplans)

Hi,
I just do 'rpcreate -fr bt:myrepos',
I create a workspace
I include the 'AppModel' from the baseline (includepublicplan)
and that plan appears to be empty.
Do I need a parameter for rpcreate ?
When I try to import a model, I got this:

Poke around your engine's property settings. One of them (Instances cache / PAPI instance retrieval size) is set to 4000.
As far as getting rid of the aborted instances, look at how often your engine's caducator (the "latency" setting) runs (typically every 48 hours) and how long the instances that have reached the end activity (the instance expiration setting) are looked at (typically every 15 days).

Unable to open BPM Workspace after applying 11,1.1.5 patch BPM PS4 FP

After I login to BPM Workspace(http://<host>:<port>/bpm/workspace) , I get a blank page.
The logs show the following error -

We applied a patch to the 11.1.1.5 SOA installation to prevent an issue from occuring . After that we are getting this issue.

Can someone please suggest what might be wrong ?

9.0.3 Preview - Class not found error after including jsp:useBean

I got a Java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError while compiling a JSP Page, after including a simple web bean as follows:
<jsp:useBean id="catviews" scope="request" class="CategoryView" />
<jsp:setProperty name="catviews" property="*" />
somewhere within the HTML page...
<%= catviews.getCategory() %>
The JSP page without the bean compiles fine and the Javabean itself compiles without error. The bean class is where JDev automatically puts it (i.e in a sub-directory of the classes directory within the project) and JDev does not raise any error on that JSP Page before compiling.
The error seems to point to the first line of the page, to the directive of the JSP page:
<%@ contentType="text/html" ... %> which is apparently harmless. What can be wrong ?

'Class not found' means 'Class not found' , the class you are referencing is not in your project's classpath. You should make sure your project's classpath point to the location where this class is deployed to. This could be a directory or a .jar file. You should also include the package name as part fo the class.

Hi All,
Recently I upgraded SCOM 2012 SP1 CU5 to CU6 and facing following issue:
1. New menu item got grayed out that appears upon the right click on Monitoring node(root) under monitoring workspace.
2. When we click Monitoring in the navigation pane, the Monitoring Overview opens, which displays a summary of health states and alerts. if we click any of the numbers in the overview, it is supposed to open a state view of the selected category but
this function does not work now.
3. Views like Active Alerts, Discovered Inventory, Distributed Applications, Task Status, Unix/Linux Computers and Windows Computer do not appear under Monitoring workspace after upgrading to UR6.
Has anyone out there facing such kind of issue? Any help on fixing these issues would be appreciating. Thanks in advance.

Have you re-opened the operation manager console?
There are some known issues when intalling UR6, please go through it:

Problems with FinancialReporting/Workspace after upgrade to 9.3.1.3

Hi all,
after the upgrade of BI+ Reporting and Analysis from 9.3.1.0 to 9.3.1.3 I have two problems:
1. In Workspace --> help --> About Hyperion Workspace --> install details I cannot see the Financial Reporting module. In the context.properties I set Reports=Y. WebAnalysis and Planning modules are available.
2. If I try to start a WebAnalysis report or double click on an essbase database a login window occurs (sometimes 3 or 4 times until the report is opened) "database login", system is already in the user name field and Password is already filled in, too. Checking the Button "save user name and password" doesnt help.
Could anybody help to solve these problems???

Unable to create a workspace after fresh install of APEX 3.2

I cannot creat a workspace as described in the installation guide :
"4.4.8 Create a Workspace and Add Oracle Application Express Users"
I can see the logo using "http://127.0.0.1:8080/i/htmldb/apex_logo.gif", but not if I use the machine
name instead of the "IP"
When I go to "http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex/apex_admin"

Process with success:
unzip the packet in: C:\APEX
1. Install:
@apexins SYSAUX SYSAUX TEMP /i/
2. Change to password:
@apxchpwd,
3. Run apex_epg_config.sql
On windows:
@apex_epg_config.sql (page 30, the guide of intallation)
Important:Replace SYSTEM_DRIVE:\TEMP by C:
E.g.: @apex_epg_config C:
After this, follow the next steps
4. ALTER USER ANONYMOUS ACCOUNT UNLOCK;
Finish! Just execute apxldimg.sql script if you is upgrading from a preview release.
Now try the connect on the browser IE6 o later:
http://localhost:8080/apex/apex_admin
Then create your workspace.

Icons for the Reports missing in Workspace after applying patches

Hello Gurus,
I have installed 11.1.2.2 on one of my VM's and then applied the 11.1.2.2.300 patch on it.
I have followed the Read Me for all the patches before applying them.
After applying the patches however the icons for the Reports in workspace

Yes all the components show green and I can access the reports without any issues. Its just the icon that does not show up.
I will check the logs you have mentioned to see if there are any exceptions in them.
But the issues started up after applying the patches for 11.1.2.2.
I have checked the location path mentioned in Weblogic.xml in raframework.war file and the path points to the correct folder location where the folders mt and mt_thumbnails are located.
Is the any other way out?
Should I delete the contents inside the tmp folder located in RAFramework0
or
Can reconfigurin Reporting and Analysis framework services help in resolving the issue?

Missing workspaces after IllustratorCC (2014) update

Title says it all. After the latest IllustratorCC(2014) update I noticed my normal workspace didn't load. Figured after an update just needed to sync settings...nothing. Then check Ai workspaces folder, just the presets. Even "Time Machined" the Ai workspaces folder, never saw my old workspaces. Not sure if that was where they were originally, but within Illustrator I used to easily pull it up. Are they gone? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I could fix this by accident. I am on Mac. Quit Illustrator. Go to … Users/Your_Username/Library/Preferences/Adobe Illustrator 18 Settings/Your_Language. Inside this folder is a folder called Changed Workspaces. The Workspaces folder is for whatever reason empty. Move the Workspace File you can't access within Illustrator to your Desktop. Start Illustrator, quit Illustrator. Move the file back into this folder. Start Illustrator again. In my case all workspaces appear now correctly.

Cannot open applications in Workspace after pc interrupt.

Please can someone help.
My test vpc went down while I had an application open. When I try and go back in now into any application in EPM I get the following error:

I deregistered from shared services and then reconfigured/reregistered but I also had to restart the server a number of times. There doesn't seem to be a fixed pattern as to what really works. This happened to me a few times and I had to resort at one point to reinstalling HFM which is not the ideal situation; however being in a test environment I was able to do that.

Error compilng servlet - even after including servlet.jar in classpath

I have the tomcat installation , which shows the default page on stating the tomcat.
I have my classpath set to -
set CLASSPATH=c:\tomcat4.1\comman\lib\servlet.jar;c:\j2sdk1.4\lib\tools.jar;
set PATH=c:\j2sdk1.4\bin;
I have a greetserv.java which is a simple example servlet. When i try to compile this, it gives me the error javax.servlet.jar does not exist.I have it included in the classpath, but it still doesnt work.

Problems with pen and workspace after Adobe CC 2014 upgrade

Hi Guys,
My Adobe programs were actualized to CC 2014 and now I am with 2 problems:
In Photoshop CC 2014, the pressure pen not work (it worked in the previous CC version). The dialog box show a triangle with exclamation point.
In Illustrator CC 2014, the workspace not actualized how normally happen in others versions.
Can someone help me?

Not able to increase the row in xfce workspace after uninstalling comp

I have uninstalled and removed the compiz package from the system. But now I am unable to increase the number of work space row in the panel. It is currently showing only one work space. How can I resolve this ?

How many workspaces are set in Settings / Workspaces? If it is set to 1 increase it to 4 or however many you want to have.

Recompile after included files changed

Hi !I use Weblogic 5.1 SP8. If i change a included file in a jsp file the weblogic server don't recognize the change and therefore there is no recompile.Does anybody know a patch for this bug in Weblogic 5.1 SP8 ?Thanks, Joerg


          Well, it used to work and now it doesn't - I call that busted.
          And there is code in _isStale() to detect changes to include

Runtime error in Workspace after invoking an "Initiator"

I'm curious if anyone has figured out how to get a human initiator task working. I'm getting an error at runtime when it's invoked and am a bit embarassed I cannot figure out what the cause is.

This error contained the exceptions thrown by the underlying routing system.
Contact Oracle Support Services. Provide the error message, the composite source and the exception trace in the log files (with logging level set to debug mode).

I am watching this post closely because I actually have the same error:
Error in routing slip. Error in evaluating parameter TASK_ASSIGNEE in the routing slip. The error is XPath expression failed to execute. An error occurs while processing the XPath expression; the expression is bpm:getPerformer(). The XPath expression failed to execute; the reason was: internal xpath error. Check the detailed root cause described in the exception message text and verify that the XPath query is correct. . The routing slip is associated with the task definition default/ProvSancDemo!1.0*8555707a-50ba-4d88-8748-e29f219c9b70/EnterPotentialSanction. Make sure that the parameter TASK_ASSIGNEE is specified correctly.
I had it in a process last week but figured it had become corrupted or something, so I created a new liittle BPM project from scratch this weekend and got the same result.
My organization seems OK:

It seems to be something related to that bpm:getPerformer method not being found. When I look at the Human Task and browse the Assignment - Participant Type dialog, it is looking for Application Role by Expression bpm:egtPerformer....but this value is not found in the expression builder.
I also get these warnings when I deploy:

I have deployed and successfully executed other processes, but not this one. I had another person take my process and try it and they were also not able to deploy it and run it.
