That is a well known bug with SAP MMC. Next time you open SAP MMC, and you go to close it, make sure your last action was not looking at the Process List - open the syslog or whatever but get out of that Process List BEFORE you close the SAP MMC session.
Next time you open the SAP MMC, you won't get that message.

while opening SAPMMC i got message like "Get process List Failed" Unknown error.

That is a well known bug with SAP MMC. Next time you open SAP MMC, and you go to close it, make sure your last action was not looking at the Process List - open the syslog or whatever but get out of that Process List BEFORE you close the SAP MMC session.
Next time you open the SAP MMC, you won't get that message.

My Tasks View in my custom task list fails to display the tasks assigned to me (that is the currently logged in user)

I am new to sharepoint 2010.
I created a custom task list, where I have many tasks assigned to users (I had tasks assigned to me as well). I created a view as "My tasks "and having a filter as Assigned To is equal to [Me]. When I do that my view fails to show the
tasks assigned to me. This happens same with the Sharepoints 'My Tasks' view as well. I tested by creating some test tasks under my name and when I selected 'My Tasks' view no tasks are getting displayed.

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to display the tasks assigned the current logged in user.
In my environment, if I used the System Account, My Task view didn’t display any tasks.
However , if I used other users except the System Account, My Task view could display current user tasks correctly.
I recommend to use other accounts except System Account to log in site. Then everything will work well.

Open of auto-white list failed

I have spent the last few days getting cyrus & spam assassin to filter junk mail properly, with some success finally. I have followed the helpful Frontline Spam Defense tutorial from Topicdesk.com and also checked permissions on /var/amavis, plus just about every other trick I could find on these fora (mostly thanks to pterobyte).
Although I have now significantly reduced the spam getting through, I am now getting an error in the system log which seems to imply that it cannot create the white list file (presumably from the emails that I have put into the notjunkmail mailbox?):

does this tell us anything? the permissions for .spamassassin are ok I think? So would the changes I made have any effect on the server log message? I just checked the log and got another instance of it. Thinking about it, the learn script runs at 3:00 am or something so this log item is probably not connected to that script. So what else could be causing it?

I did as you suggested, although after I clicked "manage Search Engines" there was no Show search suggestions to be clicked on that Window. If I then clicked on Search there was an option to select "Suggest searches as type" and "Automatically search when you select from the drop down list".
Both of these options were already selected so it's still not working.
This first happened in Firefox 4. it's still has not been resolved.

Trip list fails in portal - "user not found" - powl_act_query is corrupt

For one user, the trip list in portal dumps. It dumps only for the tab/query with all trips.
The message is "User not found" in the dump. When we debug, we find that the table powl_act_query is corrupt.
For the query id in question, the key fields application and user are empty.
We corrected the error via POWL_D01. But can anyone explain how this could happen?

I did some checking on this error and found that it has happened on occasion that sometimes when users have their personalized queries saved in table POWL_ACT_QUERY, the names for these queries in table POWL_QUERY_T may be overwritten and subsequently the GUID is displayed on the tabstrips instead of the names.
The solution as you found to delete the personalized queries with POWL_D01 is unfortunately the only one I couild find to fix these queries and again show the delivered standard queries.
Unfortunately this is more of a MC-MUS-POW issue relating to personalisation rather than travel management but you could check in SCU3 if perhaps there were any authorization errors maybe?

Large Select List fails with ORA-6502

Creating a large select list with htmldb_item.select_list_from_query_xl causes an ORA-6502 when the resulting select list contents are larger than an arbitrary value.
For example, if the query for the select list returns a display value of up to 50 characters and a numeric id return value of up to 10 digits, we have to arbitrarily include "where rownum < x" (where x is some arbitrary value) in the query to get results; otherwise when the page is run we get the ORA-6502.
For regular select lists with long results we can get around the problem using htmldb_item.popup_list_from_query but to generate multiselect lists we have to use the htmldb_item.select_list_from_query_xl an include the attribute "multiple".

Can we get that added to the API documentation? The spec simply states the function returns a CLOB, implying that it would support the max size of a CLOB supported by the database (4GB in 9iR2 as I recall).
Granted, one should not expect a 4GB web page to be returned using the function call, but a page larger than 32KB isn't entirely unreasonable, especially since this product is geared towards intranet and departmental apps (ie corporate LAN environment).
An alternative enhancement would be to implement multiselects via the popup list mechanism, allowing users to select multiple items as they "page" or search thru the values for that field.

Software Update - Update List fails

I've had a number of problems running Software Update Server from our server (10.5.2, clean install, all other services perfect).
Right now, in Server Admin > Software Update > Settings > Updates, nothing happens on clicking "Update List". In the Console I get a pair of error messages immediately after: "Server Admin[222] * -[NSCFString count]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x151280e0" and " Server Admin[222] * -[NSCFString count]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x151280e0".
In Server Admin > Software Update > Overview, the SUS is running, but Last Check for Updates shows "Not Available" in grey, as does "Updates Copied".
I've been able to get the clients to connect if I manually download a copy of index.sucatalog directly off Apple's site and put it into /etc/share/swupd/html/. So the fundamental client/server interaction is fine.
Running the command /usr/sbin/swupd_syncd -sync in the terminal results in the following error message:
"Fri Feb 15 21:01:45 myservername.com swupd_syncd[519] <Error>: Unable to download upstream catalog index (was looking for http://swscan.apple.com/content/meta/mirror-config-1.plist)"
But I can definitely read http://swscan.apple.com/content/meta/mirror-config-1.plist using Safari (that's how I got the apple index.sucatalog file in the first place).
As a result (I assume), Server Admin does not create com.apple.server.swupdate.plist in /etc/swupd/. I simply don't have that file. And I suppose that without a valid om.apple.server.swupdate.plist to work on, whatever creates a sensible local version of index.sucatalog just can't run.
I am very keen to get this to work. The swupd.plist seems to be appropriate to the settings in Server Admin.
I really can't figure out why swupd_syncd can't get the correct files. Completely at a loss. There are no helpful error messages that I can find.
Anyone able to help? I'd be very grateful.

First, swupd_syncd needs to be run with root privileges. The "<Error>: Unable to download upstream catalog index ..." message is a bit misleading. What it probably should say is, "Somewhere in the process of downloading the catalog index and writing it to disk, something went awry." In your case, most likely it ran into a permissions error when it tried to write the file to disk.
As to the main problem: It sounds like you might be trying to use an older Server Admin.app with a newer Software Update Server. Are you launching Server Admin from the same machine you're attempting to configure, or are you connecting to the 10.5.2 server from another admin console?
If you're connecting from a non-local Server Admin console, what's the OS X Server version you're connecting from? Or, if you're administrating from a non-Server machine, what version of the Server Admin Tools DVD did you use?

1 PUB + 2 SUB and route list fails on 2nd SUB

Hope someone can help me here it might be something I am over looking.
I have a Publisher with 2 subscribers. All phones registers on my 2 subscribers and the Pub does only my gateways and call processing.
On my route lists when it registers on my 1st sub the branch from that spesific route list can receive calls but cannot make any outbound calls. They just get a fast busy tone. Media resources is not a problem.
Then this only happens as well when I tick run on all active nodes under the route list. It is as if it over writes my Call Manager Group order.

When you enable "run on all active nodes" you let the ip phone to use the CUCM where it is registered on to call out.
Verify that on your VG you configured dialpeers for all CUCM nodes.

Connect Outlook 2013 to Sharepoint 2010 External List fails

Clicking Connect to Outlook in a SharePoint 2010 external list (ECT) produces the following message:
"The Microsoft Common Language Runtime 3.5 is not installed on this computer."
The client is Office 2013 Pro Plus 32-bit on Windows 8.1 64-bit with a standard installation including BCS. .Net 3.5 has been installed from Turn Windows features on or off.
On Windows 7 and Outlook 2013, clicking Connect to Outlook results in the usual running of the .vsto, but nothing happens in Outlook (SharePoint External Lists does not appear). Outlook 2010 on Windows 7 works correctly. Connecting to a standard SharePoint
contact list from Outlook 2013/Windows 8.1 works as well. Offline Synchronization for External Lists is enabled for the farm and the site.

Failed to unlock deployment list

Hi guys!
I need help because when I run a workflow that call several mappings, it stops in the middle of one of the mappings, looks like it ended up successfully (all green, 0 errors in the log). I have no log file in the $OWB_HOME/owb/log folder, and the only error message I can find is in the xterm where I launched OWB client :

PRC_DMT_MAIN is my workflow, and all the MPG are the mappings is calls. Several are missing.
A bit more about the context :
- we have a dev. environment running on windows server and everything is fine,
- we have a test environment running on linux SLES where I have this issue,
- we have written an OMB*Plus script to perform the erport/import/deployment and it has run perfectly so far,
- we already have been through the OS-specific problems (folder separator, case sensitiveness, ...)
I googled the error message "Failed to unlock deployment list" but didn't get anything helpful.
Can anybody please advise?

My fault, on the log : I renamed the log file, expecting OWB to create a new one but everything was actually logged in the renamed file.
My client is working on the server. I use putty and XMing to get it displayed on my PC.
I did not try with today delta load, but with the Monday full load, to run each part separately. It allowed me to complete the process. Thus it's not the workflow contents that fails.
One weird thing is in the log file today. I have to explain a bit more:
Both full and delta workflow contain 1 workflow for each layer (ODS, DWH, DMT) the difference is the DWH workflow that is not exactly the same. The two DWH workflows and the DMT workflow all call some mappings and also call a set of workflows.
The strange thing is that the delta didn't reach the end of the ODS. The DWH and DMT weren't even started. But the log file reports a start of the DMT workflow called by the delta workflow at the same time as the ODS. The DWH isn't started, while the main workflow sequentially calls ODS, DWH and then DMT.
The funny thing is that the DMT seems to run ( while it is not supposed to ) and to stop at the same place as in the full : I have a log for the same 2 DMT mappings.
I believe that there is something somewhere that remains from former executions and that is re-executed for some reason.
I also think that if my delta stops, it is not due to the ODS, but due to the fact that this ghost DMT session that runs in parallel says "stop" to the whole process while the ODS is running.

Problem with archiving print lists

we have an issue with asynchronous archive requests.
The archiving of some spool lists fails. Here the error message in OAM1:

It gets weird when I reprocess the request in OAM1, because then it works and we have no error message. It feels like when we start 50+ requests, some jobs fail. And if we start archiving of <10 requests everything works fine.
We tried archiving of 800+ spool lists in our QAS system with no problem. So we suspected, that our PRD content server may be broken or something. So we tried archiving spool lists from our SAP PRD system to our QAS content server -> same issue. The only thing left would be missconfiguration in our SAP PRD system but a few weeks ago everything worked fine and we had no issues.

Sorry i have to answer with questions:
are you archiving spools larger then 2 gig?
can you send use the logs from the content server?
can you check OAM1 if there is more info ( check logging)
