Enable access through port 80

hi! We are trying to get access through prot 80. We are using WL5.1 on Linux 6.2. I have done everything is in docs but it doesn't work. Do i Have to do anything special?? thanks

Webmin Port Access through firewall

I just finsihed installing the latest version of Webmin.
Everything is working fine but I can not figure out how to allow access through the firewall GUI.
I need to open port 10000. Any suggestions?

Access serial port through AIR

isnt there any extensions or API buit for accessing serial
port from AIR.
i am designing a vending machile applicaton in which a coin
drop is detected and corresponding images or message is displayed.
MDM Zinc 3.0 allows serial port access but worths more than
what it deserves. does AIR has some similar functionality.
Any help.

Internet Access through TMG for all HO & Branch office

Dear Experts!,
I am new to the Forefront TMG 2010. Have requirement to implement internet access.
Head office : 192.168.11.x/24 (192.168.11.1 is the TMG server)
Branch Office 1: 192.168.12.x/24
Branch Office 2 : 192.168.14.x/24
Branch Office 2 : 192.168.16.x/24
Forefront TMG 2010 standard edition.
Having 3 NIC's two have different ISP network addresses and one has 192.168.11.1.
Branch office are connected using MPLS network, the requirement is all branch site internet must be accessed through TMG 2010 server which is homed in Head Office. How to achieve ?
What needs to be done in external firewall and in TMG for enabling internet access.

Slow connection in one server if accessing through Cisco ACE

Hi Earsdale,
All the three servers are using the same configuration, so, I'm afraid it's not possible to give you a simple answer. You will need more troubleshooting.
I would recommend you to start by checking the differences between the servers because one of those differences is certainly causing the failure.
Also, it would be helpful to get traffic captures on the TenGig interface of the ACE to compare the behavior of the connection when going to the different servers, as well as the differences when being load-balanced vs accessing the server directly.
If you need help with this troubleshooting, you can always open a TAC service request

Issue while enabling Access Control for a Coherence server node

Im trying to enable access control for a Coherence server node, using the default Keystore login method shipped with Coherence. When i start the server i get the error "java.security.AccessControlException: Unsufficient rights to perform the operation". Please see below for the sequence of steps I've followed to enable access control. I just need to be enable Authentication (not authorization) at this stage

Did you create the weblogic domain with the Oracle Webcenter Spaces option selected? This should install the relevant libraries into the domain that you will need to deploy your application. My experience is based off WC 11.1.1.0. If you haven't, you can extend your domain by re-running the Domain Config Wizard again (WLS_HOME/common/bin/config.sh)

Remote TC access via port forwarding

I have been trying to setup my network for remote TC access via port forwarding. Here's my setup:
Verizon FiOS router (main router, dhcp & nat) -> connected to TC set in bridge mode with a static IP
I can remotely access the TC using Back to my Mac with no problems, and of course locally on the home network via Wifi.
Since the TC has to connect in bridge mode, port forwarding is done on the FiOS router.
If I set a port forwarding rule in the FiOS router TCP,UDP (any) to port 548, it works. However I want to use a specific connection port
so others can't connect unless they know the forwarded port. BTW, I have remote disk sharing set with Use Device Password.
So here's what works:
FiOS Router (TCP any -> 548, UDP any ->548)
What doesn't work:
FiOS router (TCP 8990 -> 548, UDP 8990 -> 548).
Is there any additional setting required for specific port forwarding to work?

I also have my TC in Bridge Mode to my Verizon FIOS Router. I used to be able to access my TC remotely, but since I upgraded my router (MI424WR GigE), I had forgotten some port forwarding rules I must have established in my old router. Once I re-created these two port forwarding rules (just like yours), I can remote access my TC (with TC password) again.
In addition, I have a static host name aliased to my dynamic IP address through dyndns.org (I have the free version, which I don't think is available anymore, but there are other free providers out there) for easier remote access.
Regarding, Secure Share Disks: with TC password vs a disk password. Is one more secure than the other?

"Enable Access for Assistive Devices" is missing from Yosemite and my QuicKeys program depends on this to work. Help!

This is my second day trying to get my QuicKeys application to work in Yosemite, but "Enable Access for Assistive Devices," which QuicKeys needs to work, is missing from Yosemite. I have gone through the entire System Preferences panel (Security and Privacy, Accessibility, Keyboard, etc.) without success - it's just not there. I have checked this app in the Privacy pane and dragged
"QuicKeysUserEventHelper" out of the QuicKeys Resources folder into the Applications folder so it could "appear" in the Privacy pane, and then checked it there. Is there any way to enable access for assistive devices - a Terminal command, perhaps?
QuicKeys is my most used program, which I have had since its inception at least 10 years ago! Help!

Thank you for your reply! I did everything that Startly recommended (actually, gb2), and when I dragged the QuicKeys Helper into the Privacy box. I didn't see it, but after I quit and restarted QuicKeys, it worked! However,I had first dragged the QuicKeys app to the trash, emptied it, then restarted. Next, I redownloaded QuicKeys from Startly and THEN I went to gb2's directions. All together, my QuicKeys now works on my MacBook Air. BUT NOW, I keep getting the warning that says that this version and activation code are already in use by another user! I am also getting those warnings on my Mac Pro - which had the same problem yesterday (QuicKeys not working), until I heard back from a Technical Advisor from Startly, who told me about trashing the app and redownloading from their site. Last night, that version of QuicKeys worked WITHOUT my having to drag the QuicKeys Helper app into the Privacy pane. Perhaps it is there, but invisible - the helper app is not visible on either of my computers' Privacy panes.
OK, NOW WHAT DO I DO? Every 20 seconds or so, I'm getting those annoying warning signs (on BOTH computers) and requests to put in my activation key, and then told that it is being used by another user!!!

Can air for html/ajax accessing serial port or usb?

I just have made use of Adobe AIR .I want to use printer with

There is no API for accessing the serial port. USB devices
can only be accessed through the file system (and only if they are
storage devices).

Cannot access forwarded ports from the internet

How to access serial port using servlet

I want to communicate with a microcontroller connected to the serial port of my computer.
*I am using the following:
Windows 98 operating system
Tomcat web server 4.1
*The directory structure is as given:
Tomcat 4.1/webapps/myjsp/web-inf/classes/remoteservlets.
I have placed my jsp files in my jsp folder and classfiles in remote servlets folder.
**my java program has compiled correctly.**
** my simple java application which accesses the serial port works fine.***
*when I start tomcat I am able to access the sevlet as the servlet responds with the button name i have pressed.
**** I have also tried the following
Copied file comm.jar in <JAVA_HOME>\jre\lib\ext
Copied file javax.comm.properties in <JAVA_HOME>\jre\lib
Copied file win32com.dll in <JAVA_HOME>\lib and also in c:\windows\system32 and c:\windows\system
***************which helped me do away with errors.
still I don't get any output. I dont get any errors either.
PLEASE HELP. URGENT. i am at my wits end.

Servlet is the one which runs in the server side...if u want to comunicate with the serial port of the server in which ur servlet is running can be done but making use of Communication api available....

However Java wasn't built to do these kinds of operations, so it may well be that the API does not provide the functionality you need. In that case you may need a native library to do the work for you, which can make things a lot more difficult.

How to access parallel ports using LabVIEW?

I want to send data to a device which is connected through LPT1.when Iam using serial port write.vi with port number 10(for LPT1) it is giving an error code 37 which means the device not found. whether those vis are only for accessing serial ports? Then how to access LPT1 using LabVIEW?

Most likely you need to modify your labview ini file to let it know that LPT1 (or whichever) will be controled through the serial port control. See the following link for a knowledgebase answer to this question:

Displaying images that are accessed through URL

Hi,
I have trouble displaying images that are accessed through URLs in my report.
If I call the URL directly in the Browser the Image can be opened without problems.
The images can be accessed with an anonymous access.
When I deploy the report or in the Preview of Visual Studio I get the following message:
[rsWarningFetchingExternalImages] Images with external URL references will not display if the report is published to a report server without an UnattendedExecutionAccount or the target image(s) are not enabled for anonymous access.
In Layout View of Visual Studio the image is showen correctly.
The Images are stored on a Solaris maschine with WebSphere 6.0 as WebServer.
Any ideas?
