Enable to have the Write File to Citadel Example working

Did somebody already run the Write File to Citadel Example with success ?
This exemple aims at Importing Spreadsheet Data to the Citadel Database, and is given in the NI developer Zone --> Development Library --> Labview --> DSC --> Data Logging.
I can run the exemple as described without any visible problem. But when I look at Citadel (through MAX), I can't find any trace of the data I imported (sine_wave_one for instance). According to the SampleSpreadsheet.csv I used for import, I should find a trace in the database around the 21st of march 2002...
But I found nothing.
Any help?

I am not sure how savvy LabVIEW programmer you are, but if you feel confident you can go ahead and try to debug the code.
The VI based servers are running on the background. You can however make the front panel visible during the execution - not the diagram. The debugging means you have to create a few indicators on the panel that will show what is going on on the diagram.
These are the steps the enable the front panel during the execution:
1) Open the Write File to Citadel Server VI
2) File>>VI properties; select Window Appearance
3) Click Customize and check the Show FP when called and Show FP when loaded
4) Save it and relaunch the engine!
When you start the engine again, you should get th
e server front panel. Once you'll have some indicators on the FP you'll be able to learn more about what is going on in the VI.
I have noticed that sometimes the example pops up with a File dialog box. I found out this was related to a race condition in the example. I am not sure if that's what you see.
Let me know.
Also if the example executes you should see the tag values changing - for example the string tags starts with "Row 0", "Row 1" ...

I've run the Write File to Citadel Example. It works fine in one of my win2000 sessions but doesn't run in another different sessions in the same computer. Both sessions with administrator privileges. I've tryed to run it in a different computer but with no success.

Is your Win2000 computer running the NTFS file system? If so, one user may have different file read/write permissions for the affected files.

Error "Event Queue Overflowed" with the "Write file to Citadel Server"

I can import data from a file and I can see the data
in the historical database without troubling.
But I always have this error "Event Queue Overflowed", that don't perturb my data and my application (I have just this boring message).
I have tried many things :
- increasing the size of my input buffer (-> 1.000.000, no change) : I don't think so that it's important because I've tried with a value of 100 and anyway sometimes my application works with this small value of 100.
- increasing the File_location tag size (-> 260). No change.
- My write to Citadel.cfg is in the LabVIEW folder.
Can you help me ?

Sounds like a permission issue.
Navigate to the iTunes Music Library.itl file
The path should be Username/Music/iTunes/
Right click on the iTunes Library.itl and select Get Info
The window will open on the left hand side. Go to the Sharing and Permissions section at the bottom
Click the padlock to allow changes and enter your Mac logon password
Select yourself and make sure you have Read & Write selected. Click padlock to lock it again
Close the Get Info window and try and start iTunes

Why can´t I wire the offset input in the Write File Function when I use datalog files ?

I have a datalog file, in which I save variant data several times in diferents VIs, I runs these randomly, and I would like rewrite only a part of the file, but I can´t wire the offset input in the Write File function to indicates the begins and save the data in the point that I want.
I need your help thanks.

Hello.
I THINK that the reason why the offset input is disabled when you are working with datalog files is that you do not know how many bytes each entry of the data structure will ocupy.
When you have a binary file where you store, for example, an array of double precision floating-point numbers, you know that each number ocupies 8 bytes, so you know that when you want to read the 21st number of the array you need to skip the first 160 bytes (20 numbers x 8 bytes/number).
However, with datalog files you can store very diverse data structure, usually including strings, like in your case, which means that you do not know how many bytes to skip to be able to read or write to some particular variable of your data structure.
If what you want to do is to not overwrite the contents of an existing file, but to append to it, what you probably will have to do is read the whole contents, append to the data in your program, and write it all again.

You should be able to just place them in your Books library in iTunes and check to ensure that your Book library is configured to sync to your iPod when you sync your iPod to iTunes.

Is it necessary to have the pkg files for Anyconnect VPN on the firewall

I have an ASA 5505 and we are using Anyconnect client to connect to our VPN not the "Clientless" method.
Well, I don't have so much space on the flash and I need it for an upgrade of the ASA image.
So, do I must have the .pkg file for the Anyconnect? I also have a file "csd_3.5.2008-k9.pkg" for Secure Desktop, we are not using that, is it safe to remove that file from the flash?

If you are not using Secure Desktop then it should certainly be safe to remove its file from flash. I am less clear about the implications of removing the AnyConnect pkg file. I know that the ASA wants to check any incoming connection to see if the incoming request is at least as new as the version running on the ASA. I am not clear whether it needs the file to be in flash to be successful. And it certainly means that if anyone wanted to load the AnyConnect client or upgrade the version of the AnyConnect client that it would not work. I encourage you to look for some other way to free up space in flash.

Is it safe to have the swap file on a separate partition?

I've just bought a second hand MBP 2012 (9,2 I think) with a 500GB hard drive and Yosemite pre-installed. Not going to get into a debate about it here, but I want to regress to Lion or Mountain Lion until Apple improves Yosemite's bugs and software manufacturers improve compatibility. However, I wouldn't mind also getting to know Yosemite. So my plan is to partition my drive and keep Yosemite on one partition, have Lion on the other, and use Lion for day to day stuff for the time being.
Obviously this involves a shrinking hard drive. I have an image of Lion's installer on another partition in case I lose the DVD (which happens to me far too often), so at the moment my partition scheme breaks down as 10GB for Mountain Lion's installer, 100GB for Yosemite, and the remaining 390 (roughly) for Mountain Lion.
Since the Yosemite partition is quite small, would it work if I made a symlink from /private/var/vm to the same folder on the Lion partition? Both folders will never be in use at the same time, so I can't think of any reason this wouldn't work - which would mean that the slippage and the swap files would all be located on the bigger partition, and the small size of my Yosemite partition wouldn't be a problem. Obviously when the time comes I would get rid of the Mountain Lion partition altogether and make the Yosemite one a lot bigger, but would that be an ok setup for now? Would it degrade performance for any reason if the swap files were on a separate partition?
Anyone ever tried this?

Thanks for the answer. The project is stored, saved, or burned to a DVD.
When I put the burnt DVD in my "E" drive (or DVD player/burner) installed in my computer it comes up as a my project in "E" drive.
It is a complete Primire Pro CS4 project. I has all my edits and effects just like it does when I open it from my HHD.
I can put the DVD in my wives computer and it shows it is there but it will not open because she does not have CS4 installed.
So it is not a movie. It is an exact copy of what the project looks like on my HHD.
I can edit on it and do everything I did from the HHD copy.

I really do want to clean up my HHD and start over with a single file. Hopefully gererated by the DVD.
It seems like I could delete my files. It would be like I made this copy and sent it to you to do a final edit and add menus. You would not have the origional files on your HHD.
After you loaded to you could then send it to your HHD and do whatever - Right?

Ok this is bizzare!
Thank you for your response, I went throught each and every step without any luck, even got the recovery programme, and painstakingly tried to sift through all that mumbojumbo to find what i needed. finally found the bookmark bit, but it had been fully overwritten :(, so on reading about previous ff versions, found the sqlite thingys, and they were relatively unscathed(partly written over, but saveable apparently TG), saved them to adiff drive, amongst other possibly good folders. Then looked up how to install them, and it said to close FF, and install to profile folder.
So i tried to close FF, and the original problem from a few days ago, where it asked me if 'i was sure i wanted to close this window as it has X tabs open', popped up again. This is where 'open blank page' selection was set, over 'open previous tabs'. Wanting to save that info on how to sort out these friggin files, I reset the Option to 'open previous tabs', and closed FF. After unsucessfully searching for the profile folder on my laptop, i opened FF intending to search online for where i could find said folder.
AND BANG, surprise surprise, the FF I had just closed with only tabs open about finding out what the heck to do, had disappeared, and instead my original saved tabs were up, and my bookmarks are there..... I am gobsmacked! what the heck just happened there???
I have made 3 back up in different folders now, of those friggin bookmarks. I am weary now tho of shutting it all down.... what if its back to the other pages I had with no bookmarks, tomorrow :(

I do not know if your file can be recovered. But I may be able help you to recreate it with ease. If you will settle for a composite where all image are re-sized for a particular tile size and virtually cropped to its aspect ratio. Download the unwrapped 8.0.2 update from Adobe: http://kb2.adobe.com/support/dreamweaver/ts/documents/kb400150/DW802_unwrapped.zip
Extract the files into a root directory. There should be only one MSI file.
Open an administrator privilaged command prompt by typing in the Start menu "Command" and right clicking the "Command Prompt" option and selecting "Run as Administrator"
Navigate to the directory you extracted the files to using the CD command
Once in the directory with the MSI file run the following command: msiexec /update patchpackage.msp
Step through the installer, and everything should be fine, open Dream Weaver and go to Help -> About to verify the patch installed.

New, to me, Leica D-LUX 6. I just upgraded my Mac to Yosemite. I can't open the RWL files even though I upgraded the DNG file. I am using Photoshop 6. It does taks wonderful jpg. pics but, I would love to have the RAW files open.

Most likely a hardware problem causing corruption in the transfer of files from SD card to your computer. It could be the SD card itself, card reader, hard disk or memory.
Side issue:
Open Lightroom 4 on macbook air import to HD
Drag and drop in Lightroom on to external HD
why don't you save yourself a step and import directly to the external HD (and thus also produce one less place where file corruption can happen)?
