Enabling a Windows user to Only Run One Package

I am completely new to SSIS. I made a package in SQL Server 2005. I need to import it to another SQL instance, also 2005. I think I can get that done. My question is, how can I set it up so that a different Windows user can execute this package and only
this package on the instance? A development team has a Windows account that is being used for the security and I don't want to give them the ability to run any and every package that is on the instance. I only want them to be able to execute this one particular
package. Can this be accomplished and how would I do it? they are wanting to be able to execute EXEC
MSDB...@start_job 'JobName' from inside a stored proc. This will let them run any sp for which they have the name.

You can set Protection Level for each package.if you configure it as "EncryptAllWithPassword",People can execute package via sql job.

I am getting a bit concerned about what is happening in your situation. Yesterday you posted your question in at least two different forums, one of them being here in the Premiere Elements Forum.

Wherever you posted, the reply was to contact Adobe via its Adobe Chat. It is the only one who can sort out this matter for you.
In the thread cited above I offered to help you with the difficulties that you were having visualizing the Adobe Chat in its web page. I was waiting for your follow up on that in the above thread. Instead, I find your same question in a new Adobe Premiere Elements Forum thread this afternoon with no refer the prior threads or prior recommendations given you.
I will also mention again...when you buy the Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements bundled in one packaging and with installation files for each on the same installation disc, each program has its own serial number. The Photoshop Elements serial number does not work for Premiere Elements and vice versa. The serial numbers are on labels on a box which houses the installation disc envelope(s). So, if you purchased both programs and found the Photoshop Elements serial number, then the Premiere Elements serial number should be in a label right underneath the label with the serial number for Photoshop Elements. I recall writing this in your yesterday's thread on this matter.

HP 4510S laptop. has dual core processor but is only running one half of it.

This system is running on Win 7 32bit. If I upgraded to W7-64 bit would the system then use both halves of the processor?

I use BELARC advisor which lists all hardware, SW on my system. It also tells me what processors I have, memory, etc. It will also tell me if I have a dual or single core processor and whether it is running both cores or only one. My gateway NV50 is running Win 7-64 bit and BELARC tells me how it is working on both cores. But my wifes LT which is an HP has win 7-32 bit for an OS and Belarc advises that it is only running one core. That is why I asked the question. I am upgrading the HD from 250 to 750 gb and maxing out her memory. Maybe then she will quit complaining about how slow it works.

How to sync with Firefox sync after reinstalling Windows? I only have one device.

Just like this user I was syncing only one device. After reinstalling windows, I can't reconnect and I don't have the recovery key...
What can I do? To access my bookmarks, favorites, etc?

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately I'm missing the recovery key and don't synch with other devices so I guess that means I'm out of luck...
Maybe this is something that can be added to the roadmap for future improvements. I don't see a reason why you can't get your information back after a reset if you've only got one device.

CF Admin login fails (invalid pw) for Windows User other than the one used to install CF 10

I installed CF 10 on a server running Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard having logged into the server as a Windows user in the administrator group. I set up CF 10 Administrator to use a single password (the default). I can log into CF Admin when authenticating to the server with the same Windows credentials used when installing CF 10 but if I log into the server as another Windows user in the administrator group I cannot log into CF Admin; I get an Invalid Password error. I thought the whole point of the single password was so that anyone who can log into the server could log into CF Admin. It works like that for my CF 8 and CF 9 machines.

Can you only run one main() in a jar?

Hi,
I was just wondering if you can only ever run one main() method from a .jar file? I have a project being developed in Eclipse, consisting of several packages and then several classes with main()s in each of the packages. When the whole project is packaged into one big jar then I can run one of the main() methods by specifying it in the manifest, but as far as I'm aware I can't access the others.
Is there some cunning way to call the main() method of a different class to that specified in the jar manifest, or do I have to compile every class as a separate jar? And if that's the case, is there really any advantage to putting the classes into a jar as opposed to just running from the .class files?
Any help much appreciated. :)

You can execute the other main methods byexecuting:
java -cp the-class-path TheMainClassIsn't that just what I'd use from the compiled .class
files though?Correct, but you specify the jar on your classpath. e.g.
java -cp myjar.jar TheMainClasss1 or
java -cp myjar.jar TheMainClasss2
For example:
java -cp the-class-path my.class1
java -cp the-class-path my.class2

NoClassDefFoundError (they work fine in the directory
with the .class files though).That's because you didn't specify the classpath in the correct way.

Firefox won't allow me to install the update. It keeps telling me to close any other copies of Firefox on the computer. I am the only user and, as far as I can tell, Firefox is only running one copy. I'm using Windows 7.

Here are two screen shots to show you what I am seeing. The first screen shot shows it allowing me to select (highlighted in blue) my admin user (which is what I am locced in as). The second screen shot shows it allowing me to select the "Guest" user (highlighted in blue). However when I click on the user "Orion" nothing happens. It will not change to highlight that user.

Finder window repeatedly failing - only on one user account

I have 3 user accounts on my imac. Only one is experiencing the issue - my 13 year old son's... The finder window is rapidly closing and relaunching - every second or so. I did research (to the best of my ability) online and found numerous posts that sound similar but nothing that has helped. Some discuss Google Drive causing the issue - we don't have Google drive. Other mention that upgrading to Maverick caused the issue - we haven't upgraded. Another mentioned starting in Safe Mode and if the issue goes away then it is an automatic log-in issue - tried this and the problem was still there in Safe Mode.
The error message that comes up states: "The last time you opened finder it unexpectedly quit while reopening windows." It give two options, Close or Relaunch - neither that I can actually select because by the time I even get my mouse moved it has repeated this error 3-4 times.
Everything else seems to run just fine - I can open other programs and use them just fine - and again this is just on the one user account.
I'm thinking my best option at this point is to delete his user account? Thoughts??

Haven't yet figured out what the issue was. But did go and download an app suggested to me called Main Menu. It ran through some clean up and the problem went away!

"user busy" only with one number i call

i always get the "user busy" signal, when calling a certain number.
(only realized with a certain one)
issue appears as follows:
after dialing the number/contact on my iphone 4 I can hear the ring once and after that always the "user busy" signal (plus the display showing "user busy", call back etc....)
already called my provider --> trial call, no issues with the provider
asked my friend about eventual call forwarding --> nothing thelike, no issues

My late 2011 MacBook Pro 4 gig RAM is running very slowly, crashing very often. Repaired permissions, repaired disc, updated to Mavericks, uninstalled Blackberry Desktop. Can only run one app at a time, barely.

Activity monitor shows RAM usage at between 3 and 3.95 most of the time, even with no apps running. Hard drive has plenty of free space. Chrome crashes it the most, but any time I run more than two apps at a time, it crashes. It cannot ever complete a Time Machine backup. That leaves it dead in the water after a few minutes. When I say crash, I mean totally unresponsive, even when left alone for hours. Only a hard reset works. Then, it is hit or miss when it comes to rebooting. Often, it crashes at the startup login screen, and often it doesn't even make it that far. Sometimes, the computer spontaneously restarts itself. I've looked at the forums, and tried everything that I've seen suggested. I've left it alone overnight, hoping that it was just indexing, but no dice. I even used the sudo purge command once. That cleared up some RAM for a moment, but didn't affect the performance issues. I am aware that the RAM usage may have nothing to do with it, but that's the only clue I have. It is a miracle that I'm even able to finish typing this message, since right now I have Safari and Mail open at the same time! I've turned off Drop Box. Every application loads painfully slowly, and then any activity, including typing, is often interrupted by the spinning pinwheel of death. Sometimes, the problem resolves for a few minutes, and then returns with a vengance. Help!

Can only run one prog at a time

I'm experiencing a frustration problem. I can't run two adobe programs a the same time - ie, Lightroom and photoshop, After effects and photoshop, flash CS4 and after effects etc
Running final release of windows 7 64 bit, licenced PS3, trial AE, trial PS4....8GB Ram, has been with both Nvidia and ATI video cards, open GL on , Open GL off, seperate scratch disks, reinstalled everything,
Any help, advice, hints would be really appreciated as having to close programs all the time when switching apps is a real pain in the neck

In Transaction MB01 we are trying to restrict user in Document Type in Purchase Order and restriction is only user can create Document Type UB (Stock Transport Ord. )
But I am create a dummy user and dummy role and assign MB01 to that role but it is not working I canu2019t understand why? What I can do wrong if nothing is wrong then what is the solution

Document types also use the "authorization group" concept. You do not grant access to them individually, but rather protect groups of them and then grant the access back again.
This means they are optional objects... --> which also implies that they are not the only objects...
If a document type is not protected by an authorization group, then there is no check... --> except for the mandatory objects such as the movement type to actually use the document...
This is normally explained, together with the customizing prerequisites, in transaction SU21.

Possible to merge separate Windows user account libraries into one?

Friend of mine has a work laptop with separate Windows accts on it - one for work, one personal. She has purchased music *with the same iTunes account*, but some songs are in the work account, some in the personal. Is it possible to rebuild the library in one account or the other to include the songs purchased on the other account? If so, how? Thanks

One method is if she has an iPod, she can plug the iPod into either library and iTunes will find the purchased tracks and ask if you want to transfer them into the current library.
Without an iPod, the files themselves can be copied out of either account's iTunes Music folder structure onto CDRs, USB thumb drive, or since it is on the same computer to a common shared folder. You can then add them to the other account's library. Since they are both authorized to the same account, they should play fine.

Windows PC can only print one copy at a time

I've got a PC connected to a Mac printer via Bonjour. It works fine, except for this new quirk we discovered today... when attempting to print 30 copies of a PDF, only 1 copy would print. Any suggestions (other than hitting Print 30 times in a row)?

Do you have a Brother printer by chance?
