Enabling Multiple Search in Advanced search

Hi All,
I am trying to enable Multiple search on a particular field in the advanced search for that PCUI application. E.g Search for Opportunities with Partner P1 and P2.
When i perform the search the results show me all opportunities with partner P1 OR Partner P2. So i get all opportunities which belong to partner either  P1 or P2 or both
I want to view all opportunities with partner P1 AND P2 i.e i want to search only for those opportunities that have both P1 and P2 in it
Is there anyway we can achieve this
Thanks and Regards,
Varun

Hello,
The MAC for the the advanced search in opportunities (application CRMD_BUS2000111) is CL_CRM_BSP_AM_HEADME_1O.
Create a Z MAC inheriting from this MAC and redefine the method IF_CRM_BSP_MODEL_ACCESS_IL~QUERY.
In you redefined method, you can for example first call the ‘super’ query method and do your own additional selections after.
The FM used for the standard query is CRM_BSP_OIC_1O_SEARCH_FROM_RF.
You can maybe also check how this FM is called and make you own call of this FM.

Frederic

  • Enabling Spotlight Web Search - Multiple Search Terms and Boolean Searches

    Hello there,
    I'm trying to incorporate a spotlight web search into my website as per these articles:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=ServerAdmin/10.5/en/c3ws21.html
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TA23537?viewlocale=en_US
    What I'm finding is that the search page provided by using template.spotlight file does not give search results when more that one search term is entered. Additionally, boolean terms (AND, OR, NOT) do not appear to work.
    I've tried to edit the template.spotlight file but I'm not sure what to add in order to provide this functionality which is otherwise present in spotlight searches within Mac OS. Has anyone else used the spotlight web search feature for their websites and had success with multiple search terms / boolean searches? Could someone please advise on how to edit template.spotlight to provide these search features?
    Thanks in advance,
    Leon G

  • Multiple search help

    hi all,
    is it a possible to create search help with checkbox or something similar where user can chose several lines and return values
    on scree  ( several lines-intervals).
    Similar situation is on logical base PCH when you chose object ID and have check box.

    Hi Nick,
    After creating the search help you can create a Search Help exit and in that you can enable multiple selection and the system will automatically display check boxes for you to choose multiple entries.

    how to enable wild search(*) on a query variable?

    Prakash,
    When you build the variable, what did you use as the "Processing By"? Were there any other special options you had to use to get it to work....This is something our client base would love to use....

  • Multiple searching options

    hi experts,
    i need to create one searching iview but has multiple search options. The purpose is to let the user search for documents using one iView only (we have many types of documents with different metadata). We try to separate the options by tab. Is it possible? We are using SAPNetweaver portal 7.0.
    Thanks,
    Rgds,
    Nanie Arianie

    Hi Shah,
    You can achive the above said by creating separate indexes for the folders containing the documents.
    Follow the following steps,
    1.Create separate indexes for the KM folders under the following path in Portal,
    System Administration > System Configuration > Knowledge Management > Index Management
    If you want to group the indexes , you have to specify the group name during creation of the index.
    Add the folder as a Data Source to the respective indexes.
    2.Create Search Options Set under the following path and mention the indexes or search index group in it.
    System Administration > System Configuration > Knowledge Management > Content Management > User Interface >
    (Change the mode to advanced) select Search >Search Option Set ,
    Select the standard UI Search Option set and click on duplicate button , give a name to the new search option set.
    Add the indexes created to index option in Option set.
    3.Create Search Component Set under the following path and this can be used in iview properties,
    System Administration > System Configuration > Knowledge Management > Content Management > User Interface >
    (Change the mode to advanced) select Search > Search Component Set,
    Select the standard UISearchComponents and create a duplicate copy of the same and give a custom name to the same.
    4.Create iview from application or copy search iview from the standard content.After creating the iview update the properties with the above created option set and component set.
    Option set will establish a connectivity between the iview and the created indexes..
    Advanced Search UI and results can be customized by customizing the Search component set and Layout sets.
    Hope this will help you.

  • LDAP External Authentication Multiple Search Base DNs question

    hi,
    im trying two add two LDAP search DNs to a portal 6.2 organisation.
    with one search base dn it works fine.
    when i add another, all ldap auth for that org stops working.
    the docs confusingly state that if you have multiple search dns (not talking about multiple ldap servers here - just the search base dns) that you should prefix each entry with the local server name. the docs however provide no examples of the syntax.
    can anyone provide an example for multiple search dns? e.g. is it <server:port>:o=<etc> (doesn't seem to work).
    thanks

    hi,
    yes i have.. but when you enter more than one it stop working... with only one entry in the gui it will work for that entry but when you add another it stops working...
    i had to use a manual workaround like this to get the second going... :(
    External ldap authentication
    register the LDAP authentication service in the gui and setup the first DN as normal.
    create the first set of entries for the ldap host and the base dn in the gui as normal etc.
    the gui in the admin console is not working (depending on your point of view), so you need to add the second ldap config manually -
    All commands are run from the /apps/jes/SUNWam/bin directory
    1. Get an encrypted value for the bind dns (cn=Directory Manager) password you want to bind to the ldap directory as by using the ampassword utility shipped with Identity Server.
    ./ampassword -e directory_manager password
    More information on this utility can be found in the Sun ONE Identity Server Administration Guide.
    2. Copy the encrypted password as the value for the iplanet-am-auth-ldap-bind-passwd in the XML file (serviceAddMultipleLDAPConfigurationRequests.xml) created in Step 1. The XML file contains a template for creating the second LDAP DN.
    3. Modify the data XML file accordingly so that the relevant details are provided for the 2nd ldap server (bind dn search base etc) and load this into the portal directory using the amadmin command line tool as follows from the /opt/SUNWam/bin directory
    ./amadmin -u amadmin -w administrator_password -v -t serviceAddMultipleLDAPConfigurationRequests.xml
    If the imported xml values are incorrect delete and reload the imported xml data using amadmin command tool. Alternatively you can modify the ldap data directly on the primary identity server (ldap server) using a client browser though this method is not supported .
    You should be able to see new imported values for the second ldap server at dn:ou=subconfig1,ou=default,ou=OrganizationConfig,ou=1.0,ou=iPlanetAMAuthLDAP
    Service,ou=services,ou=ORG,o=lgaq.qld.gov.au on the primary ldap server (where ORG is the organisation you wanted to add the second DN).

  • Is it possible to have multiple search results page using one Search Enterprise Center site?

    Hi,
    We're using SharePoint 2013 and I'm trying to modify the search results page for one site collection. By default, it uses the search results page from the parent site which is the search center being used by default for the web application. I need to make
    sure that the site collection will only retrieve search results within the site collection (search everything has to be disabled). I found a way but I had to create another search center site to accomplish this, otherwise, it will affect the search center
    site of all other site collections on the web app.
    Now is it possible to have multiple search results page using one Search Enterprise Center site?

    Hi,
    According to your description, you want to retrieve the search results within the site collection.
    As a workaround, you can create a custom result source for the site collection and you will retrieve the search result within the site collection.
    More information about how to create result source in SharePoint 2013, please refer to :

  • Enable Safe Search in Group Policy

    We ran across an issue where if a Student typed xxx in the Google Search and then click images, they are submitted to more than an eye full of inappropriate images.  We have the "Safe Search" enabled on our Sonic Wall, but that still does
    not stop the images.
    Is there any setting within Group Policy we can set to push out enabling Safe Search on all the Computers within the Network?  Or if anyone has a great idea of how to block these websites?
    Thank you.

    Hi,
    Based on your description, I agree with Zanderol24 that the third party product should be able to help us in this situation. However, for this is a Microsoft forum, we don't support third party product here, and it's recommended that we contact vendor support
    to ask for advice.
    If we are using IE, we can choose to use IEAK to manage IE settings.
    Regarding IEAK, the following article can be referred to for more information.
    Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK) Information and Downloads
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-in/ie/bb219517.aspx
    Besides, we can also try to configure a dummy proxy in Group Policy Preferences Internet Settings item to block websites for IE 10 or above, but GPP settings can be manually edited by users after the settings get applied. If our IE versions
    are below IE 10, we can use IEM to block websites.

  • Enable Highlight Search Result in RH8 for Word

    Hi all,
    Is the search option "Enable Highlight Search Result" available under RoboHelp 8 for Word?  I can find the option in RoboHelp 8 but I can't find it under the RH8 for Word application.
    Any pointers or advice would be really helpful.
    Cheers,
    Leigh.

    Thanks Peter.
    Appreciate you answering this one.
    It's a pity this is not an option as I have word docs already written for a User Guide and the text highlighting option in searches is really helpful to narrow down where seach strngs are located within large topic pages.
    I guess I could copy and paste the word content manually into a RoboHelp HTML project instead.
    Thanks again,
    Leigh.

  • Sorting Multiple colunms and carry out multiple Searches

    Hello
    i would like to now i can carry out multiple searches for a single record. I have listed the some below
    Server Name Db Name Schema Name Change Reference Person
    GBCCCL15/16--CSAHEPA---DCDMIN----------46935-------------------
    GBCCCL15/16--CSAHEPA---NCADMIN----------46935-------------------
    GBCCCL15/16--CSAHEPA---BUADMIN----------47775-------------------
    GBCCCL15/16--CSAHEPA--- PPADMIN----------48213-------------------
    i would like to be able 2 carry out multiple searches on for example Schema Name (NCADMIN) and the Person's (Peter Salt) as i have a number of records that are similar i would like the Application to carryout multiple searches on the column reports at the moment all searches are done per column.

    Pritesh,
    Can you please clarify what this means? When you say "multiple searches", to me that implies that you want to issue multiple distinct queries, all executing concurrently. I can't believe my understanding is correct.

  • Enable content search

    Dear All,
    I have installed IFS 9.0.1 on Oracle 9i.
    The problem is I am not able to do content search i.e I am not getting results when i try to search within the content of files.
    I read that intermedia Text options should be enabled. In my Oracle/bin directory I found ctxsrv and could run it with CTXSYS/CTXSYS. (I read in one document that this should be run to make content search function). But then I still dont get content search results.
    It would be of great help if anyone can throw light on how to enable content search. Please mail me at [email protected]
    warm regards,
    Deepa
    [email protected]

    Hello Deepa,
    To be able to do a content search with Oracle Text not only the Oracle Text process (ctxsrv) should be running but
    the content that is already in the database should have been indexed. If content was loaded while ctxsrv was
    not running the content was not indexed. Was the content indexed?
    If you need to index the documents see Metalink (metalink.oracle.com), Note 174502.1, question 13.

  • UME user search with multiple search fields (AND / OR search)

    Hi,
    I'm struggling with a UME user search problem. I have multiple search fields: lastname, firstname, department
    Searching in this fields is working with the default IPrincipalSearchFilter.SEARCHMETHOD_AND (default)
    <a href="http://help.sap.com/javadocs/NW04/current/um/com/sap/security/api/IPrincipalSearchFilter.html#setSearchMethod(int)">JavaDocs SearchMethod_AND</a>
    Now I would like to add an additional search field for searching in telephone, cellphone as well. BUT searching for a phone number with searching for one of the other fields should not be a AND search. Is this possible?
    Here is the actual non-working code:
         Vector retVector = new Vector();
         //get Userdata with IUserFactory
         IResourceFactory resourceFactory = ResourceFactory.getInstance();
         IURLGeneratorService urlGen = (IURLGeneratorService)resourceFactory.getServiceFactory().getService(IServiceTypesConst.URLGENERATOR_SERVICE);
         IUserFactory userFac = UMFactory.getUserFactory();
         IUserSearchFilter srcFilter = null;
         try
              srcFilter = userFac.getUserSearchFilter();
         } catch (UMException e)
              // TODO Auto-generated catch block

         if(lastName.length() > 0)

         if(firstName.length() > 0)
              srcFilter.setFirstName(firstName + "*",ISearchAttribute.LIKE_OPERATOR, false);
         if(department.length() > 0)
              srcFilter.setDepartment(department + "*", ISearchAttribute.LIKE_OPERATOR, false);
    //Here I need help!!!!!!! Please advice!!!
         if(telephone.length() > 0)
              srcFilter.setTelephone("*" + telephone, ISearchAttribute.LIKE_OPERATOR, false);
              srcFilter.setCellPhone("*" + telephone, ISearchAttribute.LIKE_OPERATOR, false);
         //if(mobil.length() > 0)

         //Set maxium value for Result and thus limit the static variable SIZE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED
         //This method can only be used, if only one search attribute is specified -> thanks SAP
         if(srcFilter.getElementSize() <= 1)
              srcFilter.setMaxSearchResultSize(300);
         ISearchResult srcResult = null;
         try

         } catch (UMException e1)
              // TODO Auto-generated catch block

    Thanks for any help...

    Hello,
    I could still need some help. Is there no one who could give me a tip? Could I explain my problem clearly enough or do you need some more information about my problem?
    Or is the search topic with searchFilter not a very common used thing?
    Is there a possibility to do a search in the received search result? Can anyone explain how this would work?
    Any ideas are welcome.
    Regards,
    Stefan

  • Multiple Search Suffixes

    Our internal network is comprised of multiple companies purchased over the past couple of years.  Unfortunately we still have a lot of legacy DNS going on and like 6 different domains on the inside.  Is there a good way to push all 6 dns search suffixes out to the AnyConnect VPN Client?  I tried the split DNS method I found online but when I did it broke DNS completely.  The client was using the local hosts preconfigured DNS servers and not getting the internal network ones.
    Thanks
    Michael

    Hi Terence,
    Thanks for the tip. It's a nice way to do it, I didn't know it was possible and this could save me some time.
    Still, I don't think that creating a smart mailbox is an ideal way to do a search but this could do the trick for now. I hope that multiple search will be integrated in next Mail.

    I often need the use of a "multiple search" option in Mail. I have found a program that does that : http://www.mailsteward.com, but it's not integrated in Mail, and the search results are not very Mac-friendly.
    Is "multiple search" going to be implemented in Mail for Leopard ?
    Thanks,

  • Multiple search using ldapsearch

    Hi
    Does anyone know how to do multiple searches using ldapsearch? There is an option of -f with ldapsearch but its not working. Can anybody give some examples of this option ?
    Thanks

    You can use colon in any database item on runtime in entery query mode and it will prompt you to enter values/conditions on execute query where you can check any database item value. It will add the conditions in the where clause of the block. May be it will help in what you are looking for.
