Encrypt local store data not cleared after unstalling a program

After an AIR programmed is uninstalled, the EncryptLocalStore
data it saves are not removed. Is this a bug, a feature?
My application stores a user's username/password into
EncryptLocalStore for "auto login next time". After the program is
uninstalled, and then re-installed, the newly installed program
will automatically log the last user in, which is not a desired
feature in this context.

It is not a bug.

Encrypted local store corrupted

When using the ADL to run my HTML based application I can store data in the encrypted local store fine. When the app is packaged and installed, I can set and retrieve data from the local store the first time the application is run. If I then close down the application and start it up again, accessing the ELS throws an error.
I've found information on various sites about how some AIR developers get their user base to overcome such issues but surely this isn't the way forward. Is their a fundamental bug with the ELS in Adobe Air or can anyone help point me in the right direction so I can rectify this problem.

Thanks very much for responding. I have now added the stronglyBoung argument when setting data in the ELS although this was not causing the problem. I did however, fail to copy my pre-populated database from the application directory to the application storage directory which meant that I was indeed changing the database file in the application directory at runtime....doh!
When developing, my database was stored in the application directory which of course did not produce any unexpected results.

So, now I have changed the database file to the application storage directory and then copy a pre-populated template database over if this file does not exist:

Anyone having trouble with App Store install and cloud store buttons not working after 6.1 update? I go to install an app. I hit install and nothing happens. About a minute later it asks me for my password and then it does nothing. The install button goes back to saying install. However the app shows up in my installed list and in cloud but no app installed.

OK - I found a helpful post - closed app store app and under Settings/General/Date and Time I reset the date and time by switching off "Set Automatically" and then switching it on again. Went back to App Store, launched it and Updatesseems to be working again.
Go figure? Logical, No!

Hmmmm... would appear that you need to be actually logged in to enable the additional menu features.
Have you tried deletting the plists for MAS?

I'm facing the issue as stated in the OSS note 916654 - LM13: Verification field not cleared after [Enter] key. My current system is ECC, that is why the OSS is already applied to the ECC version. But the problem is, i still faced the problem stated in the OSS.
Symptom
In customizing:
- You have defined [ENTER] in destination screen 302 to SAVE items.
- You want to verify the destination bin information.
You use 'Confirm Transfer Order Clustered' RF transaction LM13.
You scan several SUs and press enter.
You press [F4-Next pushbutton] to confirm the associated TO(s).
In the destination screen 302, you scan the verification value for the first item and press [ENTER] key.
==> The item is confirmed correctly but when the system proposes the next item, the verification value of the first item is displayed.
Anyone know how to fix this issue? Pls help.

Thanks a lot for your prompt answer. Well yes if i clear in the PBO the value gets cleared, but then i wanted to get the next records value into the value field, well the problem got solved in a much easier way i put everything into one chain endchain statement.

Problem solved. Does only happen with the Internet Explorer 32bit.
With Internet Explorer 64bit it doesn't happen.

Pricing errors are not cleared after fixing the master data

Kindly go through the issue explained below.
Pricing is determined properly in transaction level(Oppt) when the master data is correct. cool.
System shows pricing error (Mandatory condition 0PR0 is missing, Pricing could not be determined) when price(condition record) is not maintained in product. This is also fine. Now the issue is, Pricing errors are not going away from Opportunity even after the master data(product) fixed with maintaining pricing.
Scenario : Opportunity is saved with pricing errors.
Analysis : Price or/and Sales area are not maintained in Product that is maintained in Oppt. That is why this error occurs. So, we have maintained the Sales area/Price(condition record) in product. Now master data is corrected.
Expected result: After maintaining the price/sales area in product, the errors should go off from the created Opportunities and pricing should be determined properly.
Actual result: When we create a new opportunity with the same product, pricing is determined. But the errors are not going away from the already created opportunity transactions.
Please let me know if this scenario is not clear to understand.

Syntax
ASSIGN mem_area TO <fs> casting_spec range_spec.
Effect
This statement assigns the memory area specified using mem_area to the field symbol <fs>. You can assign a data object or a memory area calculated from the address of a data object. After the assignment, the field symbol refers to the assigned memory area and can be used in operand positions. When used in a statement, it behaves like a dereferenced data reference, meaning that the statement works with the content of the memory area.
The data type with which the assgigned memory area is treated, depends on the specifications in casting_spec. You can either execute an explicit casting or the field symbol takes on the data type of the data object specified in the assignment. A field symbol to which a memory area is assigned, has this data type after the assignment and behaves like a data object of this type.
The assigned memory area mem_area must be at least as long as the data type specified in casting_spec and must have the same alignment. If the data type determined in casting_spec is deep, the deep components with their type and position must appear in the assigned memory area exactly like this.
Use the specifications in range_spec to restrict the memory area that can be assigned to the field symbol.
You have to assign it back to internal table to modify the content.
Check in debug mode if you have still doubt.

Store data in mysql after reading from excel files

i am trying to make o program where i will read the data from excel files and i will store them in a database. I am using eclipse as editor and mySQL. I am using APACHE POI to read the excel files and JDBC for the connection. The excel files have the structure as shown below:

I have of course plenty of such files which contains many more rows and columns. The purpose of my program is to read the data, create table named as the name of the excel file and the fields of each table to be the first rows of the excel file. Afterwards the values will be the rest data of the excel file. In the code below i have managed to read them, show the data in the console. Afterwrds i am trying to call a database with JDBC but there i have problem when i create the table.

Quality of pdf files not clear after conversion (Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Std)

I am using Adobe Acrobat 9.0 standard and my computer is running on Windows XP SP3 (with Office 2003 SP3). Everything used to works fine until my laptop crashed and I need to re-install everything.
Now when I want to convert PowerPoint presentation files (with pictures, diagrams), the pdf version becomes not clear and the fonts are smudged.
I have re-install Adobe twice but ended up with the same problems. My colleague is able to convert the same PowerPoint using CutePDF without any problem.

You may want to try the following steps:
open a pdf file
click Edit
click Preference
in Resolution section: select Use system setting: 144 pixels/inch
in Rendering section: select For Monitor, select Smooth line art, select Smooth images, select Use local fonts, select Use page cache
in Page Content and Information section: select Use smooth zooming, select Use smooth scrolling
click OK

Chain and store data not populating properly in BPARTNER

Hi all,
There is a field 0bpartner2 in the data source name 0BP_RELATIONS_ATTR. This field is also there in DSO1 which fetches the data from the mentioned datasource. Then using routines this field 0bpartner2 splits into two-->chain and store which are getting populated in the next level of DSO, DSO2 which finally goes into 0bpartner infoobject.
But for two particular bp nos the values of chain and store are not getting populated.
Checked in RSA3, the data is OK, but in the PSA level the data is not there.
This is happening only for this two particular bp nos.
Kindly help.

at info package data selection don't have selection please check the below options.
1. go to ECC -> enter the t code- RSA5 -> select the data source -> go to change mode -> select the check boxes possibility.
2. if not there come to BI system select the data source go to change mode -> select selection menu -> browse and choose the X- selection possible.
now it available selections at info package - while seeing the RSA3 data give the selection at info package
