Enhencement for RPTEAB00-attendance report and list of clock in/clock out e
Hi,
My client requires clockin/clok out report in RPTEAB00, as per my u derstanding we can copy tio ZRPTEAB00 then we can change, i know that.....
but in this report require clockout also for single employee/multiple employeees.....
one more report is there it will provide clock in clockout entries..... bur day wise only, there require range in time evalution date....
if any one truthful result thanks in advance.....
i am from purely functional... not in ABAP.......

But MB51 doesnot give the combined report of stock transfered by 541 and 311 E
We are using 311 movement for transfer within work storage locations also.
These internal movements, we cannot exclude on input screen while taking report from MB51.

Invalid database schema for product hyperion reporting and analysis
I tried to re-configure the BI core service to a new database
But I get the message "invalid database schema for product hyperion reporting and analysis"
The database is a restore of a production backup on a different MSSQL2005 server.
I can not believe its really a sql schema matter.
Does anyone know whats wrong?You cannot restore a BI+ database from backup...It is somewehere in the doc. There a re lots of references to the old server and config in the BI+ tables and you d need to edit/remove some files on the file server too. There is a doc available to do that but its far from simple.
Best way is to export the content of your repository, configure a new DB and then reimport the content.
If you re really stuck, drop me an email and ill send you that doc. I think ive still got it.

I try to install Enterprise Query, Reporting, and Analysis package(CD number : 51033475)
Installation setup asks the Product ID,
How can i find the correct Product ID for this installation,
RegardsFor Partners and SAP, the license id is contained in a word document that is in the Download Manager.
We are also trying to install this package, but it seems only the SAP drivers and not the BO Enterprise is contained in the Service Marketplace file.
Just wondering if you have experienced the same thing.

Detect what the default edit form is for a document library and list using jquery

So what I have done is with some jquery made it that when a files are dragged and dropped into a document library and there is a required field such as "Metadata" the EditForm.aspx opens up for the user to fill in the required column. I am building
the url up from what I have found in SharePoints DragDrop.js file. This is all working perfectly I just need to find a way to dynamically find what the default edit form is for that document library as I have just hardcoded like this...

So I need a way to figure out what the default edit form is instead of hard coding like this in case someone creates a custom_editform.aspx or something for one of the lists.

How to change to Icon View for some folders but and List View for the rest
I've had a bear of a time with View options in my folders. I'd like some folders to be in Icon view and other to be in List view. For what ever reason if I change the view option of one folder it changes the view option of EVERY folder. What can I do to make this happen?
I was about to ask the same. I'd like to use icon view normally, but list view for folders containing lots of text documents. It looks like the solution is using View > Show View Options, change the folder to the view you want, and then tick the box at the top fo the dialogue for "Always open in __ view".

Generating annual report and list the data into JTable
Hi, I am stuck with my project. I know that my logic is wrong, but I couldn't figure out the solution. Please help me.
I hava a database, one of the table is the booking information.
I need to generate a report which shows the number of booking for each companies for each month.
I have three data in my database, two different companies(XX and YY), with three different months(Jan, Feb, Jul).
The problem that I encountered is that the data shown is inaccurate. It showed 6 rows of data, and the number of booking is incorrect.

If you pepper your code with System.out.println() statements, you can see where your problems occur in the code.
I say you may have inserted a record instead of updated due to your statement here. Looks like XX should have been one record rather than two.

Drill Down Reports and Drag & Drop capability Tool for Developer2000
I am currently doing my development in Developer2000 rel. 2.0.
I have seen many tools for VB which provide the facility for Drill Down reporting and drag & drop option in reporting, but unable to find any tool for developer2000. I wonder if anyone can guide me about any tool for developer2000 which can provide these facilities in reporting and forms.......

what do you mean by drill down?
you can do drill down reporting in reports by using srw.run_report built in and you can also use oracle discoverer. -

How to set printersettings for the crystal report viewer in SAP BI dynamically

I have set the URL method for my crystal report and with parameter passing as shown below, it was displaying the crystal report viewer by connecting to the SAP BI 4.0 server with this method.

Rajeswari.There are no BI / CR APIs that would do this for you. The way I see it, you'll have to have your own print button and populate it with the correct printer information for each user as they request the report. Of course, alternatively, use the viewer printer button and get the users to choose the correct printer.

Issue in transaction code creation for sap query report .

I have a requirement to create transaction codes for sap query reports. I found two ways to create transaction code for sap query report
1) By Generating program for sap query report and creation of transaction code for that generated Program. in tcode.
2) By using parameter transaction options in start object of se93
What are the difference between creation of these two ways. Please specify the advantages and disadvantages of both methods.

Separating Reporting and Analysis from Compact deployment
Hi,
We need to separate Reporting and Analysis from the compact deployment since need to have better control and already have many reports created. (I already separated Planning and that worked fine)
Reporting and Analysis has three applications:
• Financial Reporting Web App (includes financial reporting Print Server)
• Web Analysis web app
• Framework web app
I plan to use configtool.sh which has following options:
• Configure Database (will NOT select this, since DB is already configured)
• Deploy to Application Server (will select this for sure)
• Configure Reporting and Analysis Services (not sure if need to select this again since was done in the compact deployment) ??
• Configure Framework Service ( also not sure if need to select this, since was done before in compact)??
• Configure Framework Reporting RMI Ports (also not sure if need to select this, since was done before in compact )??
My questions:
1. Do I need to reselect to reconfigure the last three R&A options above (or it doesn't matter if I select as originally? Note we already have developed reports)
2. Can I specify to deploy the three Web applications to a new separate Managed server (e.g. Reporting0 and port 8200 i.e. deploy with Financial Reporting) or better deploy each to new separate managed server?
Plan to do this in couple of days. Appreciate the advice.

No, I don't believe it will remove the apps and I have to change the target for each of the three apps to remove them from EPMSever0, and ensure they are in new managed server(s).
That's what I had to do when I separated Planning. (That was your hint, thanks)
Hope my plan is fine. (Sure will be doing a cold backup)

Interactive Reports and APEX 3.0
hi -- I built some initial prototype pages (forms, reports, etc) in Apex 3.0. Have recently upgraded to 3.2, and in building more reports I see that there
is an option for an Interactive Report (and it's the default). Was this available in 3.0? I was new enough to APEX that I may not have picked up on it if it was... but what I can see is that for the Reports I created in 3.0 (Where the region is PL/SQL function body returning SQL Query) there is no option, in the Region Definition, to migrate the report to an interactive report (as it appears there should be, from looking at post:

The only task option is undo region source.
If Interactive Reports weren't available in 3.0, is there any way to convert existing reports? Or would I just need to re-create them?
Also, is there a tabular form that also supports interactive report features? I'm guessing not... but thought I'd ask.

I will try and find a link about the conversion details (updated below).
You only get the conversion option on the right hand of the screen for the Standard SQL Reports, not "SQL Query (PL/SQL function body returning SQL query)".
If you were to change it to the standard SQL type (which may not be possible) it would give you the option after applying the change. Interactive Reports only work on standard SQL queries, and not SQL generated from a function body.

How To Pass Data Between A Main Report and a Subreport
Hello,
I'm working with Crystal Reports Professional XI.
I have a main report with two date parameters: BeginDate of Date type and EndDate of Data type. The main report has no details being printed instead it's grouped by a formula field and displays a summary count at the group footer. I have a subreport that is not linkable to the main report. The subreport is grouped differently. It has no detail records being printed and displays a summary count at the group footer as well. The two reports are using the same tables with the same linking relationship.
I created the same two date parameters in the subreport but this isn't right because when I run the report then I get four Date prompts: BeginDate and EndDate parameter from the main report and the BeginDate and EndDate parameter from the subreport.
I'm not dong something right here. What do I need to change in the reports so that l have the same record selecton being passed from the main report to the subreport record selection based on the BeginDate parameter and the End Date parameter from the main report? Right now, the subreport is selecting all the records in the tables specified.

Thanks for replying to my posting. It's been awhile since I've worked on Crystal Reports so I'm getting reacquainted with sub-reports again.
By linking the main report to the subreport by the BeginDate and BeginEnd parameters, will the date parameters be passed from the main report to the record selection for the subreport?
Also by doing your approach when the user is prompted to run the report, will it display on the popup window four date parameters: the BeginDate and EndDate from the main report and underneath that the BeginDate and EndDate from the sub report? If so I'm trying to avoid that because it would be the same date range that I'm wanting to use for the main report and the subreport.
