Entering current time in StarOffice 7 Calc

Can anyone please tell me if it is possible, with a shortcut key to enter the current time in Calc, please?
What I want to do is the same as Ctrl/Shift/Colon in Micro$oft Excel where that key combination enters the current time in the highlighted cell.
I have tried putting the NOW() function in a Macro and that works initially. However, that time is then updated every time the spreadsheet is opened. I want the entered time to stay put.

Use this as the field's On Focus event (it works better then Mouse Up, actually):
event.target.value = util.printd("mm-dd-yyyy HH:MM", new Date());
You can remove the custom validation script.

Error on entering the Time widget to display the current/left video duration time

Working with Adobe Captivate 6.0 (Version 6.0.1.240) and trying to include an interactive video demonstrating possibilities and features of our software, I've experienced some issues.
When entering the Time widget to display the current/left video duration time, Adobe Captivate is closed with the following error:

"Adobe Captivate" has stopped working.

Windows can check online for a solution to the problem.

The program works the same way when using other widgets such as ArrowWidget, AskAnExpert, Browser, CheckBoxes, Combobox, etc.
What could be the most possible reason for that?

to Lilybiri: I use the Timer widget included with Captivate 6, Version 6.0.1.240. That's why it doesn't show the time. Could you please tell me if it is possible to display the current/left video duration time? If so, how we can do that?
to Vishhere: Yes, this is happening when I insert interactions or widgets from the Insert Menu. I reset the default preferences as you suggested. Unfortunately, it didn't help.
When I go for inserting any interactive element or a widget from Insert/ Widget/Interactions the application is closed and an error message appears like the screenshot given here:

Numbers does not have predefined key command for Insert Date & Time as you can see from this screenshot:
All menus show the key commands on the very right (if there is a ke command). You can add you own, custom, key commands by opening system preferences and selecting the Keyboard panel, then the "Keyboard Shortcuts" segment:
Click the "+" then a modal dialog will appear. Select the application from the pop, then enter the exact name if the menu item, and, finally, your desired key combination:
You can do this for any application

How can I get user to enter date & time on a form?

I have a form where I want the user to enter a date and time for an event. The database field is in MYSQL datetime format
I've used the datepicker on the form field but it only allows for a date entry not time.(eeven when seetin the width to 22 chars
I remember doing something before which allowed the user to pick a date and then add the time at the end.
I've got the date defaulted to dd/mm/yyyy and the time to H:mm in the control panel.
Can anyone help please or is there a better way to enter date and time?.

Two things:
The column in your database is defined as DateTime, not Date
You use the option on the Date Picker to choose datetime, not date
This will give the user the ability to choose a date and time from the date column. If you need more control over the time, you probably need to add another column defined as Time. Then you can use the validation rules to force an entry rather than allowing the default (current time).

How to check whether current time satisfies the schedule?

I am working on a task, which is opposite of cron tab. My application is in groovy but can call all Java api. Can you please provide some pointers?
User is allowed to schedule a rule to be executed the way crontab gives the options. For example he wants the rule to be executed from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
I cans schedule in crontabe or Quartz. At run time I have to match, whether the current time satisfy the time condition entered by user.
I may have to store this information in the database the way we put in the cron. Eg. my tables will have following
Id|| Policy Id|| seconds|| minutes|| hours|| Day|| Date|| month|| year
1 || 5 || 1 || 1 || 8-17 || M-F||? || * ||*
Now while my code is getting executing, how can I match whether the current time matches the condition mentioned above.

Possible to show current time during call (not length of call)?

when i am on a call, the lock screen shows the phone number and the length of time i have been on the call. is it possible to change this, so that the lock screen shows me the current time (like it does when i am not on the phone)?
currently, the only way to bring up the current time is to (1) hit the home button (brings up phone controls), (2) slide to unlock, (3) hit home again (to get to enter passcode screen), and (4) enter passcode to see time in green bar at the top of the screen. it's a cumbersome process.

If I receive a call when locked, after answering, I can see the time in the top status bar...

When I try to enter a time machine with Snow Leopard backups Lion I get an error code -6584 ... how to fix?

I had a first gen time machine with backups all on Snow Leopard.
This died (power supply), and I bought a new time capsule, because to fix the old one would cost nearly the same amount.
Since, I have started using Lion, and backed up onto my new time capsule in Lion.
Unfortunately, there was a file I deleted that I really need for a Logic Audio project, that is only present on the old time capsule.
I got the old time capsule fixed, so it powers up. I even extended my current wireless network with it. I can see inside it -- all the data that I dragged onto its HD in the past is present, and the "Sparse Bundle" containing the data for the time capsule save-states is present too.
Now, when I try to "Enter" my old time capsule, I get this error message:
I tried entering the time machine via WiFi and via ethernet, to no avail.
Can anyone help me to access these old save states on my old "snow leopard" time capsule?
I was thinking maybe I need to try to access it from a machine with Snow Leopard?
Please help.

Data written in Operationamanager DB shows 1 Hr old time than current time

I have a strange issue on my SCOM 2007 R2 CU4 RMS, Just discovered this accidentally.
I Configured an alert for testing and i used a sql query to extract the data for the test alert.
In generally the Ops DB and Ops warehouse write data in GMT (London time)
When i ran a query if the Alert appeared at 08:00 PM London time, The time in the Alert shows 1 hr old so it shows that the alert appeared at 07:00 PM GMT.
So i used the query to see the current time in the DB "SELECT GETUTCDATE()"
Post entering the command i found that the time shows 1 hr behind the actual time.
So it appears that if it is 08:00PM now the Alerts and the time in the SQL Server shows 07:00PM GMT.
Is there any idea why this issue is occurring ?

The Local server time is US Eastern and is having the correct time.
The SQL & RMS have correct Eastern time. Both are physical Boxex.

In SCOM, all timestamp data is convert into UTC time before written into SCOM DB. This means the alert time is in UTC format.
When you ran a query if the Alert appeared at 08:00 PM London time, The time in the Alert shows 1 hr old so it shows that the alert appeared at 07:00 PM GMT. This is expected result because your machine time zone is not UTC and is UTC+1.

But, I want to store latency and hold_time to database everytime the key is pressed and released, that means users are typing, meanwhile the values of latency and hold_time are stored. The datas are stored before users click "Next" button. So, is it POST that form to a JSP page can solve it?

How to compare current time with any particular time?

I have a form which accept data from user but i want that user can enter data only before 4 in the evening after that no data will be accepted and user get any message. Now the problem is I want to compare the current time with 4 o clock or 16:00:00 but i dont know how to check whether the current time is greater or lesser than 4. Till now my code are like this: if(tt.equals("16:00:00")){}else{}
where tt is current time. but this is not the feasible solution for my second clause.

Any idea.* You wouldn't implement before(). You'd just use it. It's already implemented for you.
* before() doesn't just compare the hour of the day. It compare two date & time objects to see which one is greater--that is, it effectively looks at all the fields, not just HOUR.
* You don't need Timestamp if you're not dealing with a database.

Conditional formatting based on current time.

I need to format column A, based on the value in column C relative to the current time. If the current time is > column C the cell in column A needs to turn Red. If the current time is <= column C the cell in column A needs to turn Green.
The following formula work fine, until I closed and reopened my sheet days later. It no longer works.
=AND(C1<=(MOD(NOW(),1)))
I have my cells formatted to 13:00 time.
I was using =MOD(NOW(),1) In cell A1 as a reference point, but found a way around using that. A1 is empty if needed.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

It appears the sheet is working properly now if I update the variable cells values. Refreshing/recalculating (F8) the workbook does not update the sheets results; only re-entering the same value produces the correct result. Do you know why this is?
The sheet is going to be used by a flight department to manage pilot duty days and flight time requirements. So It is imperative that it functions properly and consistently. Thank you for your help.

No BIOS access, Enter CURRENT Password

I've got an HP pro 3130 SFF :
SKU: XT322EA#AB6
Unable to access BIOS with F10 screen shows: "Enter CURRENT Password" and when entering 3 times the wrrong password
it give error and ask me to press F2 to boot the OS. i could boot the OS no problem.
