Enterprise Activation stuck at "Saved Email Messages"

Hello all,
I am a BES user and when i tried to reactivate my BES account the "saved email messages" keep on initializing, all other items are complete.
I have tried everything including wipe device and ask my admin to delete and re-add my account and it still not solving my problem.
Can anyone help ?

Your best bet would be to seperate your SMS and text messages from the Messages folder. Open Messages, tap your Menu Key and scroll down to Options. Click on General Options, and look for SMS and Email Inboxes: Set to "Seperate" Escape and save your changes.
You should now have a seperate icon on your home screen for you text messges.
The way the BlackBerry interface is designed is that "Messages" is a general inbox of all email/text/call logs/voicemail received on the BlackBerry.

Enterprise activation is the only email option

I'm not sure what else I have to do as I have registered the blackberry and the only option I get to set up an email account is an enterprise activation. I see the blackberry symbol in the upper right hand corner of the screen as well. I would simply like to set up my personal email account. Also, I cannot text pictures as the only options I have are email and pin, which I'm assuming is related. Please advise. Thanks

Saving email message to a file

I was trying to save email messages (not just message text, but everything) into a file. But I got exception stating that com.sun.mail.pop3.POP3Message is not serializable. Is there any workaround to save email object into a file?

This writes the message as an object to a file.
It is fully functional - use this in one of my programs.

Saving email messages

On my iPad my mail service is via a POP account. I understand that I cannot add any additional mailboxes to the Mail app.
Is there a way to save email messages somewhere else besides the Inbox?

Saved email messages propagating

I just bought a new iMac G5 - and transferred all of my files from my old G5 via Time Machine. When I 1st launched Mail it doubled all of the messages in my inbox that weren't new. Here's the kicker: the duplicate email that shows up is blank. If I try to delete the "blank" email it is dulled but not deleted. If I delete the real email the "blank" email remains - and if I then try to delete it, it is "dulled" but not deleted. I have saved the emails in my inbox because they require some sort of action that I haven't yet taken care of - so I can't delete everything. But - I really need to get rid of the "blank" email duplicates. HELP!!!

In the world Mac OS X, ~ is shorthand for your specific User folder (the one with your name); it's also referred to as your Home folder (the House icon).
So find that folder or icon, select it, then Library, then Mail and look for that file name.

Has anyone experienced a sudden deletion of saved email messages?

We have recently experienced a deletion of a number of older e-mails. Does anyone know why this has happened. Also, I had saved a number of PDF's in the library and now they are gone. Any ideas what is going on.

I'm afraid you have missed the point. People send binary files via email all the time: images, video and music clips - in fact any attachment is a binary file. Underlying protocols are implementation details, a mail client may choose any form of encoding/encryption to send an attachment. However, the internet standard requires that an attached file is delivered exactly as it was sent, mail clients/servers are not allowed to take upon themselves to "optimize" attachments without the end user knowledge and permission. It creates a dangerous precedent. In this particular case my photography student had no way of knowing that for whatever reason his particular setup would flatten the image and ruin his homework.
Also, none of the protocols: FTP, SMTP or HTTP is inherently binary or MIME encoded, it depends on the settings and implementation ( Check RFC's)
I am not asking for a work around, which is trivial. I am simply trying find how serious is the problem. This is not a normal behavior, I know for certain only about two cases when it happens. With such a rare occurrence it seem to be a bug rather than a feature. That is why Apple reaction to is so surprising.

All of he email messages on my Iphone 4 and my wifes Iphone 3gs mysteriously were deleted this morning. Why?

When I checked email this morning, 4/18/2011, all of my saved email messages were gone. I checked my wifes 3GS this evening, and the same thing had happened. We both use Comcast email. Any idea why this happened?

What is the account type - POP or IMAP?
Sounds like the account is a POP accout is the sent messages are not available.
If so, what is the account setting with the email client used on your computer for accessing the account for removing messages from the server after being downloaded by the email client?
If the email client on your computer is removing messages from the server after being downloaded, the messages will be removed from your iPhone as well since the messages are no longer available on the server.
Although it is possible to access a POP account with more than one email client, a POP account is designed to be accessed with a single email client only.

Upload saved emails from Thunderbird to Verizon Message Center?

I have used T-Bird for Verizon email for a long time. Now, for sync reasons with my Verizon phone, I would like to switch to Verizon Message Center. Can I upload my saved emails to VMC? How about contacts and calendar? (There are instructions for POP like Gmail, etc, but not for downloaded/saved emails.)

In general no, it doesn't accept uploads. You could send a copy to yourself.

Help!! please email setup requesting enterprise activation after factory reset

after i did a factory reset i notice my email set up is requesting enterprise activation email and password i don't have either so now my email setup can't work unless i do it and my native browser won't connect and blackberry protect won't work. i registered the blackberry thru hosting and i got your blackberry is registered but i can't get the other apps to work since i need the enterprise activation.

i got the phone from ebay so i don't know if it's on BES and as far as a blackberry data plan i have verizon prepaid and i activated the phone thru them with no problem and i signed up for BIS with no issues but i don't remember the password to get the service books sent to my phone. the phone just stop working a couple of days ago i have had it since october with no issues until now. the first thing i notice was i stopped getting email and it said my service was blocked so i did a battery pull that didn't work. then i did a security swipe and now i can't access the email setup or the browser and it says that i don't have a data plan needed to use it which i don't get since i have had no problems since october. i was told on by someone that maybe i was over my data but i just looked and saw i wasn't and it rolled back since i paid on the 24. this is like the 3rd incident since switching from post paid to prepaid it is making me want to switch carriers

Switching from Enterprise activation to Personal email

I just got a blackberry curve 9300 and wanted to link my personal email, but the only option I get under Setup > Email accont is "Enterprise Activation".
How can I switch this, or at least have the choice with Personal email.

Basically, you have to have the right Data Plan from your carrier in order for Personal mail (POP3 etc.) to be available.

Email message stuck in Outlook - why can't I see it to be able to delete?

For several weeks now, Outlook is displaying an error log with the following message "[ALERT] Message too large. http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?answer=8770"
This has happened when I've initiated the message from Outlook itself and I've been able to find a way for Outbook to appear so I can delete. Now I'm not sure if the message is actually being deleted or not.
I suspect that these are email messages that have been initiated in iPhoto with sharing photos which are too big for Outlook. iPhoto started up Outlook and tried sending the pictures but its too big for gmail and the message seems to be stuck somewhere. Everytime I start Outlook the above mentioned error message is dispayed.
Any input would be appreciated. This has been nagging away for weeks now.

You have Sophos installed, which is certainly capable of causing panics. However, the panic logged above happened in safe mode, and wasn't caused by any third-party software. That type of panic is usually caused by a memory fault.
If your model has user-replaceable memory, and you've upgraded the memory modules, reinstall the original memory and see whether there's any improvement. Be careful not to touch the gold contacts. Clean them with a mild solvent such as rubbing alcohol. Aftermarket memory must exactly match the technical specifications for the model.
Apple Diagnostics or the Apple Hardware Test, though generally unreliable, will sometimes detect a fault. A negative test can't be depended on. Run the extended version of the test, if applicable.

Email messaging fault

I have created a java exe, through jbuilder 9 enterprise. The program seems to execute fine and creates no exceptions, however when it is run from the commmand line it comes back with "email messaging fault". I am using the latest versions of mail.jar and activation.jar, on an NT machine and am using outlook 2000 for email. Would appreciate any incite someone has on this subject.
