Equi Table

Hi All,
Could I know what are the field name for Maintenance Plan in Equi Table. Is it "WERK"??
I'm require this field - maintenance plan for authorization check for the Equipment data upload. However, I unsuccessfully to perform my authorization check to this.
Please advise the correct field name . Thanks

WERK is the PLANT and WARPL is the maintenance plan.
SAP defines the maintenance plan as follows:
"Definition: maintenance plan
Service Contract (CRM-BTX-CTR-SCO)
A functional enhancement of the service plan.
A maintenance plan is not linked to a contract, but rather to an object
    and determines the regular services that have to be performed for this
    object. A maintenance plan is a service plan without a sold-to party or
    customer data.
Plant Maintenance (PM)
A list of maintenance and inspection tasks to perform on maintenance
    objects.
The dates and scope of the tasks are also defined in the maintenance
    plan.
There are three types of maintenance plan:
o   Single cycle plans (time or performance-based)
o   Strategy plans (time or performance-based)
o   Multiple counter plans
Maintenance Program Definition (IS-AD-MPD)
Assigned to the MPO, which is the lowest document in the document
    hierarchy. MPs are created from the MPO document to maintain technical
    objects. A MP is created for each technical object and describes when
    and where specific tasks must be performed. Each maintenance plan has
    one task list assigned to it."

Join EQUI table with other table so as get address detail.

Hi All,
Can any one help me in the following case :
I have to pass Equipment No. EQUNR on the selection screen and get Address detail (city, region, state, country, zipcode )
now I am getting all this address related field in KNA1 table. Also I am able to join this two table with
KNA1-KUNNR join EQUI-KUNDE as common field.
Turning point
when I am passing test data of Equipment No. EQUNR 60099204 I am not getting the address detail,
because after passing EQUNR I am not getting KUNNR.
So can any one please help me in joining EQUI table to some other table with field name so that I can get the address detail.

The join between the table EQUI-kunde join KNA1-kunnr is ok but it not working for every value.
Example :-
In EQUI table when we pass Equnr - 60099204 we need to get some value in KUNDE field, then only it will join to KNA1 table. But this is not happening, I am not getting value for KUNDE, hence join is not performing.
So I need some other solution so that when we pass EQunr we can get the address details
one thing more equnr 60099204 is having address detail, if we'll check IE03 (transaction by clicking address envelop)

EQUI table Create/Update (URGENT)

Hi,
Can anybody suggest a BADI which is getting triggered when new entry for serial number is created and because of this new entry is created in EQUI database table.
Either by 1) IE01 equipment create
              2) IE02 equipment change
              3) VL01N - outbound delivery
              4) MIGO - Goods issue or goods mvmt.
In anycase this BADI or Enhancement point need to trigger.

Fill Internal Table for Table Header EQUI - Long Time

Good morning,
I have installed DMIS (2006_1_620) and DMIS_CNT (2006_1_620), both at the level of SP = 13.
I am running the subactivity "Fill Internal Table for Table Header EQUI" and have 1 day + 10 hours and continue working.
Also note that the table CNVTDMS_05_equi is increased million in millions and now has 6 million records.
It is normal to take a long time? (EQUI table has 240 million records and therefore will take many days).
Any suggestions?

I know this is old , but did you ever find a solution to this. I am having the same problem. I considered adding an index to table QMIH, with Keys MANDT and BEQUI.
I also only have one bckgrd proc running in sender systems with this statement when I drill in using SM50:
SELECT
/*+
FIRST_ROWS (1)
FROM
"QMIH"
WHERE
"MANDT"=:A0 AND "BEQUI"=:A1 AND ROWNUM <=:A2 #
This has been running for over 8hrs now.
Any thoughts?

Recovering lost data from a table

Hi experts,
We have lost some information from EQUI table because of a programming error of a developer, when deleting by mistake some registers with the work area. Is there any way to recover this information without recovering the last security copy??
Maybe from some modification log or something. "log data changes" checkbox is not checked on se11 technical options.

Hi,
reviewers pointed alread to a db backup and restore of the table in question.
Depends much on what DB vendor and version you have.
if you running on Oracle it maybe possible to SELECT on the table with the TIMESTAMP option.
i.e. you want to have the values 5 minutes ago before someone changed and commited
the change:
select * yourtable as of timestamp sysdate - 5/24/60
where .... " you may have some criteria to filter on the rows in question
But if your data is already out of the UNDO retention time you have to choose the hrad way
of physical restore of the table .

Equipment not updated in all tables properly

Hi Friends
Equipment was updated in EQUI table with limited data only and not updated in other tables EQKT, EQUZ. When I go through the IE03, there I am unable to find the equipment. Material and serial number provides the equipment, I know it, but if we check it in IQ02 for the serial number with the material, I was unable to see the equipment details those are sales and distribution tab and some tabs not updated and equipment not activated. When I tried to activate the equipment in IQ02, system allows saving the document. When I am coming back, system is giving the update termination error. I think at the time of creating user might have done some mistake, but I am unable to find it
Could you please let me know the reason and possible solution?

After creating the equipment in IE01 ,you are not able to change in IE02 or display the same in IE03, then kindly check with your basis team for your update termination error

   Go to the transaction SQVI.
     In there give one name to quick view and click create.
     Then give the data source as table join and title, then press enter.
      In there click edit->insert table->likp
                          edit->insert table->vepo....
Noe u get the relationship of these tables.

Hi Experts,

Lets take an example of EQUI table...
Here if suppose, we have 2 key fields MANDT(100) and EQUI(000000000000011010),
then in the query to CDHDR table we have to concatenate the key field values
OBJECTCLAS --> Concatenate MANDT AND EQUI (100000000000000011010)
OBJECTID --> EQUI (for Equipments)
You can use the additional fields like user name, date and time you know them.....

Hi in equi table , in ci_equi i added custom fields and activated it is active fine
but again i changed field data type of one field and it is showing table is partly active
can any one help how to procced to activate this table

We are taking the some specifications for equipements thro EQUI Table. While excuting the table with equipmenet no +plant output is not appearing.
but the same is working with equipement no .. why the system is behaves like that.

It wont solve ur query... i am just asking... will this have any solution with ur query...
Since plant is the universal thing.. in this u differentiate the maintenance plant using planning plant... check this out... or let me know if u have already done this..

Invoice warranty tracking report

<b>Probelm:</b>For confirming warranty of our product, as per Warranty Policy, products are under warranty for 18 Months from Date of dispatch. Each module is traceable using Sr. Number.
THis is a report in PP.
Step1: In EQUI Table in passed sernr(serial number)(this number always belongs to child material number) and getting material number.
step 2)in STPO table, passing IDNRK(material nu of above sernr nu) getting stlnr(bom component) and IDNRK.
Here this material is used in more than one Bom components. here i need to find which BOM component(stlnr) having material matching with sernr(serial number)
hence there is no table with is relationship.
i could not able to find exact component.
actuvally user serial number belongs to module and this module is used to make panel using production order.
sugguest me if there is any possiblity of going to z table.

About select option

Hi experts,
In my alv report there is one field SERNR serial number, for this i have to put select option. My problem is this field doesn't exist in the table(Zmanifest) from where i'm fetching data. So i'm not able to mention this select option in my select query for that particular table. This field is existing in EQUI table and have no relation defined between zmanifest table & EQUI.
In my internal table i have all fields of zmanifest & this sernr; to fulfill this field logic is
Serial Number is combination of P_PREFIX-(dash)P_SERIAL fields in zmanifest. I have fetch all data including SERNR by above logic at my grid; but facing problem in defining SELECT-OPTIONS for Sernr.
Please help.

do like this.
take the lenght of P_PREFIX
take the lenght of P_SERIAL
add the length.
for exmaple :
P_PREFIX size is 4.
P_SERIAL size is 10
now declare the variable like this.
data : v_selop(15).
Note : 4101 = 15, so i declared the variable with lenght of 15.
select-options : so_field for v_selop.
now use off-set in your select query like this:
where PREFIX = v_selop+0(4)
   and SERIAL = v_selop+5(10)
it will work if you are using variable v_selop as a parameter else if you are using select option you have to break v_selop into two different select option like this:
s_prefix type prefix,
s_serial type serial.
loop at v_selop.
s_prefix-* = v_selop-. "      ( = sign, option)
s_serial-* = v_selop-*.
s_prefix-low = v_selop-low+0(4).
s_serial-low = v_selop-low+5(10).
s_prefix-high = v_selop-high+0(4).
s_serial-high = v_selop-high+5(10).
endloop.
now use following select query
where PREFIX in s_prefix
   and SERIAL in s_serial.
it will surely wrok.

Serial number and MMBE report inconsistent

Hi friends,
I have a situation wherein in IQ02, for a material and serial no. the entry is there .i.e. say a material M" has a Serial no.say S1 present in plant BOM, storage location1000.This is seen as I go to the S.No. history it shows the last transaction as :- a document no. with Mov type as 101 for the above mentioned storage location and plant on a particular date.
But if I go to MMBE, the same material is not found in the above mentioned plant and S.No.
Can you explain what could be the reason. How does the S.No. and material disappear form MMBE while the S.No. history of that particular material with M.Type 101 is available.

Hi
Even through you don't need a equipment and do not opted for "always create with equipment", you have to maintain number range for equipment.
Because, whether equipment is created or not, the EQUI table updation will takes place during creation of serial number.
Per each serial number, one equiment number is consumed, though it is not created.
Hence maintain number range for your euqipment in PM, your problem will be solved.
