    Hi Shashi,
Do you use standard XL reports ? If yes then I suggest you should report to SAP support with all details on service.sap.com, for this you should have S User Id.

  • Reversal Document is Showing wrong figure in Service Tax Report

    Hi All,
The  data inconsistence in Service Tax Report.
The  reversal documents are showing the excess amount while runnig the Service tax report.
Could you please help in finidng the reason and solution for this behaviour. All reversal documents are showing excess amounts in this case.
    Thanks,
    Nandu

    Hi all,
The Tax transfer amount of reversal document should be Zero in ST Report and in Final GL. But the service tax report is showing wrong figures.
We reversed the tax transfer document to remove the wrong line from Serv. Tax Report as well as from Final GL.
As per the business requirement if any invoice and payment is wrongly done, that should be reversed.
Before reversal of this we need to reverse the tax transfer entry, then only we can reverse the payment as well as the Invoice.
Apart from this, If any other procedure please let me know in order to avoid errors in the service tax report

  • Input Tax and Output Tax calculating wrong figures

    Hi,
I have created Input Tax and Output Tax codes in SAP.
    Input Tax- 3%
    Output Tax- 4%
All the configuration is done as required. But when I am posting the Purchase and Sales Invoice, the tax amount is not calculating correctly.
    For example:
    Input Tax Calculation should be:
    Vendor A/C.............. Cr 30000-
    Expense A/C............ Dr 29100
    Input Tax A/C............ Dr 900 (@3% on 30000)
    Input Tax Calculation in SAP:
    Vendor A/C.............. Cr 30000-
    Expense A/C............ Dr 29126.21
    Input Tax A/C............ Dr 873.79 (@3% on 30000)
The same is happening to Output Tax transactions.
    Please advice.

My understanding about the Input Tax and Output Tax was wrong. In the issue reported
    Input Tax Calculation should be:
    Vendor A/C.............. Cr 30000-
    Expense A/C............ Dr 29100
Input Tax A/C............ Dr 900 (@3% on 30000)---my understanding was wrong.
Input Tax 3% should be charged on Expense amount, in this case Rs 30000. But because in the editing option calculate tax on net amount option was not selected, hence SAP was giving the below entry, which is correct as well.
    Vendor A/C.............. Cr 30000-
    Expense A/C............ Dr 29126.21
Input Tax A/C............ Dr 873.79 (@3% on 29126.21) which is correct.
    Hence, the Vendor amount should be Expense + Input Tax= 30000 * 3%=900 + 30000 (expense) = 30900.
    Correct Entry should be:
    Vendor A/C...............Cr 30900
    Expense A/C............Dr 30000
    Input Tax A/C............Dr 900
Resolved. Pankaj has given the correct answer.

  • Invoice Purchase Order with Down Payments brings wrong Due Amount

    Hello,
I am working on 8.81 PL08 environment and I have this situation:
I issue a Purchase Order and then a Down Payment Request which I pay. When I go to invoice the purchase order the down payment and payment due fields on the invoice are correct.
In the case I issue another down payment request and for the same Purchase Order which closes the amount of invoice then when I go to the invoice and choose Copy From the same fields are not right.
If I go to Purchase Order and choose Copy To the amounts are correct.
So the situation is like this:
    - Down Payment part of Purchase Order. Due Payment to invoice correct
    - Down Payment full amount of Purchase Order. Choose Copy To from Purchase Order to Purchase Invoice. Due Payment correct.
    - Down Payment full amount of Purchase Order. Choose Copy From from Purchase Invoice. Due Payment wrong.
    Has anyone seen this before?
    Thank you,
    Gerasimos

    Thank you Gordon,
However I cannot deny to the user that wants to apply that that there is a business case where the vendor demands the invoice to be paid all in front (maybe one installment with the Purchase Order and one with the Receipt of the Goods). So, I would expect this to be covered.
I noticed another thing: When I opened the Down Payments screen on Invoice (where Down Payments are listed in order to choose them) there is a column "Open Net Amount" which brings the correct amount. However, in the column "Net Amount to Draw" there is a wrong figure and that makes the mistake.
Now I can see that I can wright the correct amount to column "Net Amount to Draw" but still I cannot understand why a user should do that.

  • Problem with Restricted Key figure!

    Hello BW Gurus,
Currently I am having problem with a report that is using a restricted key figure in the formula. When I filter down this restricted key figure, it is working fine but when I use this restricted key figure in formula that calculate greater than value, its giving me wrong figure and when I calculate less then value, its giving me zero total result. I am drilling down this restricted KF on a hierarchy. Did I miss any setting or do I need to do anything extra for this?
Please let me know and thanks in Advance,
    Vaghar.

In that case create two calculated keyfigures CKF1 and CKF2 such that
    CKF1 = ((Count >100)*1 + 0)
    CKF2 = (Count<100)*1 + 0)
and then define Greater Count as a formula such that
    Greater Count = <b><i>Count</i></b> (CKF1)
    and similarly Lesser Count = <b><i>Count</i></b> (CKF2).
where <b><i>Count</i></b> is a data function which gives a value of 1 when the operand <>0 and returns a 0 when the operand = 0.
          Hope this helps.

  • Asset Posted Wrongly to Another Asset

    Hi
My user have posted one Non-PO Asset posting into the SAP system, but realized that the Asset No. posted wrongly in last month (Nov 06) and depreciation had been done.
Please suggest whether I can reverse and repost to the correct Asset No. & what about the depreciation and any impact if I have done that.
    Appreciated your inputs,
    Rgds,
    Vyas

    Hi Vyas,
Execute transaction code <b>AS92</b>. Input the <b>Asset Number</b>, <b>Sub-Asset Number</b> and <b>Company Code</b> of the wrongly posted asset you want to correct. Then click on "<b>Takeover Values</b>". Delete the wrong figures for all depreciation areas for both the "<b>***.acquis.val</b>." and "<b>Accm.ord.deprec</b>" fields. Enter the correct Acquisition and Accummulated Depreciation values and Save your entries.
Next, you can now go ahead and recalculate depreciation using transaction code <b>AFAR</b>. This would adjust your books for you.
    I hope the above helps.
Do not forget to award the points please.
    Regards,
    Jacob

  • WBWBEST field in s032 table is upadating wrongly

    dear
in s032 table wbwbest field i.e value of valuated stock is geting updated with wrong figures , can u help me in finding out from where the data comes and updates into this field "WBWBEST"
    THANKS IN ADVANCE

    hi,
As per my idea these figures are carried from PO and MIGO here when you maintain price in MMR and create  a PO for more or less price then system automatically updates the PO price ..If you want you make a test run of this and check the MMR price

  • Query giving wrong values in portal but correct through RSRT

    Hi,
Users are running a query through portal which is giving wrong figures. But when we are running the query through RSRT it is showing correct values. The quesry is built on top of an InfoCube which is regularly updated and data in it is matching with R/3.
This is an Inventory Valuation Query.
Please suggest what could be the possible issue.
    BR,
    Sayan

    Hi,
Make sure cache is deleted for the particular query. While the report is executed through portal it refers the cache and if the data in the backend is not changed then the cache for a particular query selection is active and referred each time the query is run.
on other hand while running RSRT we have an option of not using cache and thus it refers the infoprovider and fetches the correct result. In this case cache could be invalid.
    Try deleting the cache.
    Regards,
    Amit

  • HFM 11.1.1.3 ICP Report showing wrong value for Entity Currency Total

    Here is the situation.
There are transactions on a ICP account (Entity Currency) 3.305.080
A journal is posted to the same account with the same POV. 307.205
When I run my ICP report on Entity currency i get the correct figure. 3.305.080
When I rum my ICP report on Entity Currency Total I get a wrong figure 307.205 (Equalt Entity Currency Adjustment) where it should have been 3.612.285
    Any clues anybody?

There is no limit. In reality there has not been a limit to the volume of data in a single subcube since paging was added in the 4.0 release. Certainly since 64 bit HFM was introduced there really is no limit to the amount of data in a subcube, or the database for that matter.
Now that I've said that, 850,000 records in a single subcube is a lot of data. Prior to 4.0, the development team added an warning message when a subcube exceeded 100,000 records, but this was purely informational. You should still heed the notice. Most applications have a largest-cube size somewhere between 35,000 and 100,000 records (the top entity usually). While I've seen as many as a million records, you may experience performance problems at that point. Make sure you give the database and HFM app servers a lot of memory to handle this.
Since HFM 11.1.2.2 with its configurable dimensions, data can be spread across many more intersections. In your example you have seven custom dimensions, so I can understand how you might have a normal amount of data in each base entity (a few hundred to maybe a couple thousand), but balloon to hundreds of thousands when you get to the top entity. HFM can process a lot of data very quickly, but be careful if you have rules that cycle through all those intersections, such as allocations or maybe cash flow by product.
But there is no hard limit in HFM.

  • Difference between values of a single dimension is showing wrong data

    Hi ,
I have a analysis , where I am displaying total revenue measure (in row) of all products agianst quaters dimension , scenario dimension (in col) . Scenario have two values - actual , budget ; variance (actual - budget) , I added by creating a calculated Item on Scenario column . Now the report looks like this :
    for Q1 : -
    revenue - > actual (523,263,250) budget (2,072,963,575,593) variance (- 496,053,029,268)
But ,the figure of variance is showing incorrect value , it should be , - 2,072,440,312,343 .
I tried sum , avg etc calculations ...all are coming in wrong figures ...
    Anything I am missing ?
    OBIEE version : 11.1.1.5
    data source essbase : 11.1.2

Is that same behavior when you create a new column for variance in RPD?

  • Data not validating in the cube

We have upgrade the quality box to BI 7.0 recently as part of the testing we found that data is not consistent. The quality box is a copy of the production box and thereafter the quality box was upgraded to BI 7.0. The no of requsts in that specific cube which I say data is not consistent has the same number and same requests between QA & prod, but I found that in one of the data requests the data is different between QA & prod.
This data request should be the same bcoz it is just copied from the prod it has the same requestno/no of added records, but the data looks to be diffrent inside the request.
Pl let me know if anyone encountered the same problem during the upgrade and how to resolve this.
    Thank you

    Hi Kumar,
    1. are you sure no selective deletions were done on the cube?
    2. is the data still different if you check the data via a query?
I'm mentioning this because we sometimes see very strange results when using LISTCUBE (wrong figures!).
When using a query, the correct data are displayed.
