ERP Order in CIC - Need to default Division and Channel

Hi Experts,
Setting up ERP orders in CIC.
Everything is working fine, but to make it more efficient, we need to default the Channel and division in the order for less clicks and errors.
I tried using the user paramters SPA and VTW in both CRM and R/3, but with no luck.
can anyone help???
Just to clarify...we  have multiple Divisions.  So when we select new ERP order, we get a popup in te IC WeClient to select the division we need.

I thank for the time you gave.
Actually I had been told not to break the transaction but to do it through configurations.
I have done some research and found the solution for the requirement.
May be the below points will be useful for any one who has same kind of issue.
1.     SPRO -> MM -> Purchasing -> Define default values for document type:
I tried this path but system did not accept transaction MD14. Later I came to know that the path will support only purchasing transaction like ME*. So I have to leave this step.
2.     Tried transaction OMDD (Donu2019t know the SPRO path u2013 Frankly I am not export in MM, PP) u2013 Display view u201CPlanned Order Profileu201D Overview.
This transaction can be used for defaulting the order type (Purchasing) in Purchase Requisition block but since some other configuration was overriding this, I could not get benefit from OMDD.
3.     SPRO -> MM -> Consumption-Based Planning -> MRP Groups -> Carry Out Overall Maintenance of MRP Groups. (Transaction OPPZ)
This transaction will enable us to give default order type for purchasing block as well as for planned order block. This config work only for a plant and MRP group of a material and we need to give as many combinations as we require.
This transaction was already used to config and default order type in purchasing block earlier for some particular combination of plants and MRP groups.
I used some different combination of plant and MRP groups which will allow me to use the defaulting of order type for a combination of plant and MRP groups that I use in planned order.
I am not an expert but I took more than one day to research and get the solution.
I just gave the above information so that if in future any one gets same issue can give a try of the above steps and get the solution.

    I tried the validation script, and as you indicated, the only way the total field (with the validation script) appears blank is AFTER the Reset button is clicked. (However I have not checked this in a reader)
    I can't see how I can make it work in that manner. Customer inputs Billing & Delivery Addresses at top, then proceeds to select products. If the reset button has to be pressed, all the data (ie. addresses) are removed.
    If there was a way to apply the reset function automatically at the opening of the pdf doc. then it would achieve the result I need. I wonder if there isn't a way with a check box at the top that customer clicks which would apply the reset function.
    If you (or anyone) has any further tips or help I would appreciate it. This is the last item the client has requested for change.
    PS. In case anyone can think of a print script to use... The sum value, when =0 (no qty) needs to print blank sum fields (not $0.00) BUT if there is a sum value, the amount must print (for Ship/Acct Depts)
    *** I just thought of something... The only time where the sum value needs to be blank is when customer prints and inputs data by hand.... so, would there be a way to add a print button that can also clear the sum values at the same time with the "reset" function and the validation script???

  • Need to default payment terms with 'A000'  in VA02 transaction.

    Hi gurus,
    In my requirement i need to default payment terms (VBKD-ZTERM) with 'A000' when the order types(VBAK-AUART) are 'ZBRE' and 'ZBC2' in VA02 transaction .
    I found the user exit which is getting trigerred - ' exit_sapmv45a_004'.
    But in that exit the tables which we are importing having neither payment terms nor order type.
    So,can you please help me out .

  • Need to default 2811 router

    Hi all,
    Please bear with me.  I noticed several topics along the lines of password recovery for a 2811 router and do not mean to ask a redundant question.  I've followed the .pdf instructions and the router will reboot as normal every time.  I manage to get to the rommon 1> and when I initially entered the confreg command as outlined in the password recovery steps it would not recognize the confreg command.  I ended up typing a ? and all the avaialble commands listed... after the commands listed, the CLI would allow me to type confreg 0x2142 which resulted in a message "need to reload or power cycle" (or something to that effect).  After typing the reset, the 2811 reloads, but reboots to normal condition.  I tried the confreg 0x102 method and got the same result.  After several attempts, it seems like the procedure is not working.  So how can I simply default the router and start from scratch if the recovery procedure fails?

    Remove the compact flash that is at the back of the router.
    Power on the router.
    Once the Rommon1> prompt appears, enter this command:
    confreg 0x2142
    Insert the compact flash.
    Type reset.   /you forget to type reset/
    When you are prompted to enter the initial configuration, type No, and press Enter.
    At the Router> prompt, type enable.
    At the Router# prompt, enter the configure memory command, and press Enter in order to copy the startup configuration to the running configuration.
    Use the config t command in order to enter global configuration mode.
    Use this command in order to create a new user name and password:
    router(config)#username cisco privilege 15 password cisco
    Use this command in order to change the boot statement:
    config-register 0x2102
    Use this command in order to save the configuration:
    write memory
    Reload the router, and then use the new user name and password to log in to the router.

  • Common Division and Sales Order

    I setup the common division for the company.

    My understanding is, the purpose of this common division is so that I do not need to create separate master record for each of the division for the customer master and the material master.
    When I tried creating a sales order the sales area window comes up and and asking me to select a sales area.

    I selected one sales area (not the common division) and I was able to create and save my sales order with no problem.

    Question:
    1. Should I select that common division on the sales order window or other appropriate sales area?
    2. My goal is to create a sales order, with different materials (each with different division). Is that possible on one sales order? I suppose the common division is the solution but it is not working on my end. How can I make it happen?

    Hello everybody,
    I discover in CRM the possibility of creating ERP Orders in CRM in the webclient. I like it because it works well and the WBS element appears. I don't know why CRM allows creating ERP Orders when you can create a CRM order and replicate it to ERP.
    My answer is, what consequences will i have using an ERP order in CRM?? could I do reports on erp orders in crm??

    The whole concept is a relatively new functionality first partially introduced in CRM 2007 and further refined in CRM 7.0.
    The whole idea is that in order to create an order CRM you have to re-write all your ABAP ERP pricing exits, into java pricing exits on the CRM side.  This issue alone is costly and expensive and causes a lot of customers not to want to use CRM.  In addition all your SD user exits must be re-written on the CRM side in CRM for the order to process correctly in CRM before replication to ERP.
    To alleviate this problem, the ERP sales order concept was created so you could still take advantage of CRM functionality while created an order, etc, but not have to rebuild your whole order entry process.  It still has limitations, but provides an alternative for customers who don't want to re-do VA01 completely in CRM. 
    As far as consequences well you probably need to checkout the OKP for CRM 7.0 to get more details.

  • Using ITS to display ERP orders in CRM

    we implemented a new assignmentblock with ERP orders in BP account overview. Now we want to display these ordes via ITS if user clicks on order ID. In the event handler we use the BOR object to navigate
          lv_object_key = lv_vbeln.

    Now we see, that ITS starts with the correct transaction, but it ends at the selection screen of VA03 and the field of order ID is empty although lv_vbeln is filled correct in the event handler (including leading zeros).
    I debugged in CL_CRM_TL_ERP_BUS2032_DISPLAY->IF_CRM_IC_ACTION_HANDLER~PREPARE_DATA_FLOW and recognized, that ICWEBCLIENTBORKEYPARAMETER is empty. If I fill it with the order ID, everything runs fine. But what must I implement in my event handler, to transfer the order ID to this method.

  • Need help with 'division' operation in RTF template

    We are using variables in RTF template to perform all data manipulations
    To calculate columns where we need to do division operation, using ‘/’ or ‘DIV’ is not working.
    Using <?xdofx: op1 DIV op2?> is working only when op1 and op2 are numbers like ex. <?xdofx: 100 DIV 50?> returns result 2.
    But the same tag used for columns or variables is not working.
    For ex.
    <?xdofx: (xdoxslt:get_variable($_XDOCTX, 'var1')) DIV xdoxslt:get_variable($_XDOCTX, 'var2') ?> is not returning any result, though
    <?xdoxslt:get_variable($_XDOCTX, ‘var1’)?>
    <?xdoxslt:get_variable($_XDOCTX, ‘var2’)?>
    both are returning values stand alone.

    For example for the quotations and sales orders which are visible in CRM using component ERP_H?

    It is possible to create follow-up activities for documents which are in ERP (not CRM) like the ERP Sales Order as a Standard functionality, meaning the Activities in CRM can be created as a follow up document to ERP sales order.
    Assign the Channel Interaction Center WebClient to the transaction type (Activities) in SPRO and you will see the follow up activity to the ERP Sales order
    Is anybody using such a scenario of CRM activities for ERP quotations / orders?
    --> We have a scenario to create an activity from ERP order. I assigned the channel as mentioned above and I can see the follow up activity to ERP sales Order.

  • Error while running Process Order API to import orders - URGENT HELP NEEDED

    Hi all,
    I'm stuck with order import using OE_ORDER_PUB.PROCESS_ORDER api. Wanted to import a simple order in Vision database using the process order api. Figured out the right data to use, inserted into Headers and Lines Iface All tables. When calling the OE_ORDER_PUB.PROCESS_ORDER api, it is throwing this error:
    "Header ID does not exist on this record or does not match ID specified on header record. You require a valid header ID if the operation is Create."
    But when I validate the same record using the CORRECTIONS form in Order Import GUI, the order is successfully validated. Also the order is imported when I click the IMPORT button.
    I understand that HEADER_ID column is not required for creating a new order, but not sure why it is erroring. Here is the data I'm using:

    I might be late in replying, but hope it might help.
    From your query it seems you are inserting records into interface tables and then calling process order API( probably from some PL/SQL block).
    This is where I am confused, because I hope you understand, that interface tables are for use with Order Import concurrent Program, and for Process ORder API, you need to provide the data as parameter. The api has, header record type and line table type as parameters. So you need to assign correct data to these variables and pass them as parameter when you are calling Process Order API.
    If you are doing the same thing, then post the exact pl/SQL code and error message from the API. That might help diagnose the issue.

    I have created some fields at header level of ERP Order, and the user is available to change them, replicating the information to SAP ECC (using interface LORD II). 
    All sales item information is treated using RFC ERP_LORD_GET_ITEM_MULTI, available in SAP ECC. 
    Please check the following point:

    Get more information about your computer. Go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then  "About This Mac".  Write down what it says about "version"and report that here.  Now continue to "More Info..."  Copy and paste the information here, but omit the serial number and Hardware UUID (if present).
    If you have a PPC Mac you cannot sync your idevice without a newer computer.  See the end of this post for options.
    If it says you have an Intel Mac you can upgrade to Snow Leopard, but check system requirements first:

    Options if you cannot upgrade:  iTunes Store purchases can already be downloaded directly. Use iTunes Match to put non-Store music in iCloud, then download to your device from there.  Backup your device directly to  iCloud over a wireless connection.  Photos can be downloaded from the Camera Roll using iPhoto or Image Capture.

    Buy an external USB hard drive and copy your data to it.  Either that or burn them all to single or double layer DVDs (depending on amount of data you have).  Or if it's really a small amount, consider putting it all on a USB memory stick.
