I am a beginner on SAP R/3 .
my laptop configuration is: windows xp média center
1.86Ghz 1G de Ram 80G de HDD.
I have installed all those thing -Full download includes SAPGUI (2 files 1.5GB, 1.25GB)
-Download SAPGUI only! (342 MB)
- Installation Guide (PDF 1.32 MB)
my laptop is not connected to a Lan;when I try to launch my first connexion on
sap with a user account  I have the following message:

Hi,
Have you installed MS Loopback Adapter? If not do so. You need it, if you are not connected to a LAN. For instructions how to install and cofigure it have a look at install help which is included in the dowload.

    I think its a problem with some firewall or the AV, because when i have running avast in my pc appears the same error message and when i shut down the avast i have no problems, also there are too much post like this one with no solution, admins put an eye right there, because many of this is not listed in documentation file, or i think so, are not listed problems like this one.
    If someone knows something, ill be glad to read it, and see if its causing the problem the av or what it is, i tell u one more think, my win firewall its also down, im using xp home sp3 and it works properly when the av is not running, thanks

  • SAP Netweaver 2004s Sneak Preview - Partner not reached

    Hi all,
    I've tried to search the forum for similar message but couln't find it so I post a new one, hopefully someone able to give some help.
    I've installed the SAPNW sneak preview ABAP on XP, right after installation I'm able to logon to NSP system. But once I shutdown the computer and turn it on again, I won't be able to access the NSP.
    The error message:
    "partner not reached (host 127.0.0.1, service sapdp00)
    WSAECONNREFUSED: connection refused
    I'm not sure what happened, btw:
    1. I have installed the MS loopback adapter
    2. I've check the C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts & services file. Looks ok, I put them below for your reference
    3. I've check the services,SAPNSP_00 & SAPDB: NSP are running
    Is there anything need to be setup? Thanks a lot

    If the computer name is ABC but a reverse lookup returned “localhost”. This will lead to problem later on when starting the web application server.You can correct this problem by inserting a line ‘127.0.0.1  ABC’ into the host file.

    I’m a starter, completely new to SAP ABAP Objects.
    Just installed the 2 CD’s delivered with the book “ABAP Objects” from Horst Keller and Sascha Krüger.
    Installed on a stand alone portable Windows XP Pro service pack 2.
    No other links to SAP or internet.
    First I start “Start SAP MBS”, is OK
    Then start “SAP Logon 46D”
    After the selection of a “Description” I get the following error message.

    if you look at the installation documentation in the CD there is a prerequisites which will require to you to configure the MS loop back adapter by entering a specific IP address. check out the documentation in the CD.

    When you have the latest ABAP NW2004s available for download in SDN why do you want to go for the old one. Unless otherwise there is any specific reason i would strongly suggest you to download the latest minisap (SAP netweaver sneakpreview ABAP NW2004s )

  • Erro "Partner not reached" - web service from ABAP

    Hi.
    I wrote a a sample web service call from abap program from net.
    But, when I executed, i am getting error 404 resource not found, partner not reached.."Connection request from (19/1132/0) to host: www.webservicex.net, service: 80 failed (NIEHOST_UNKNOWN)"..
    Not sure if any settings need to be done before running this ABAP program..
    Pl let me know how to proceed further.

    You should check if your server has internet access, may be there is a proxy who block the access.
    If you have a proxy you can configure your proxy settings via SMICM.

  • SGE2010P - DHCP Relay - offer packet not reaching host

    I have an SGE2010P in L3 mode. I set up 2 vlans, 1 & 5. Vlan 1 has an interface of 10.0.3.252; Vlan 5 is at 10.0.10.9. I have defined the DHCP at 10.0.3.4 (on vlan 1) and enabled DHCP Interface for vlan 5. Put switch port g28 in access mode on vlan 5 and connected client machine. Set up wireshark on both DHCP a server and client. DHCP server is receiving the DHCP discovery packet with the correct relay agent address (10.0.10.9), and it sends back an offer packet to that address, but it is never received by the host machine. What am I missing?

    DHCP server typically is on subnet of one of the switch IP interface. Thus there si no need to indicate where the server is however you have to indicate from which VLAN DHCP requests are relayed. For example:
    VLAN 1 - switch IP 192.168.1.25/24
    DHCP server is on VLAN 1 with IP 192.168.1.1/24
    Other VLANs:
    VLAN 5 IP address 192.168.5.254/24
    VLAN 10 IP address 192.168.10.254/24
    enabling DHP relay from VLAN 5 and VLAN 10 is required.
    Please check IF you have IP addresses on the switch of other VLANs 5 and 10

    Somewhere the address is not getting resolved. I would suggest you to enter IP address instead of the hostname in the RFC (SM59).

    thanks for your reply. i wanted to add 2 thing after the installation the password i entered in installation was not working  for all the super users that is why i had to delete SAP* from database and change the j2ee_Admin password.
    you mentioned that the java stack is unable to communicate with abap stack but i can login to portal by j2ee_admin user. but when i go to identity management then it give the error i gave you earlier.
    any way the dev_w0 file contents is bellow

  • Dnsmasq, dhclient and not working host block file

    I have this setup according to that thread:

    I followed wiki on dnsmasq, I set up dhclient.conf accordingly, and still the host file does not get read and all websites are riddled with ad banners.

    I followed wiki on dnsmasq, I set up dhclient.conf accordingly, and still the host file does not get read and all websites are riddled with ad banners.

    Hi all,
    The problem is I cannot connect and log on via SAPGUI.
    I am very new to SAP. I have just managed to install SAP ECC6.0 on my laptop running server 2008 service pack2. It created another user account "IDSAdmin" itself when the installation finished. Everey thing (SAP ECC, Oracle, Java) is 64 bit.
    But the GUI is 32 bit and after installation when I tried to connect some error comes up. Error details are

    Dear Bilal,
    Please check the SAP Management Console whether SAP Server is up and running or not.

    Please try to ping the server and update the host file entry with server ip address and host name.  Now please check it again.

    My systme is solution manager 7 ehp1
    recently just undergo system copy homogeneus to change the system number from 01 to 00
    ABAP become 00, SCS become 01
    The import is success, but the problem is not the server0 could not get started, during the phase starting application.. the error is pointing to failed connection to sap gateway service..

    Found out that it still try to connect to sapgw01, now the solution manager system number is 00 no longer 01.
    Anywhere in configtool / offlineconfig for me to change and point the gateway to correct port ?

    Refer SAP note :
    Note 1341701 - partner 'hostname:service' not reached
    It seems there is a port opening issue at server level. also check if host file entries are correct
    Also check in your DEFAULT and START profile parameter SAPSYSTEM =00

  • After installation getting error(sapdp00: not reached)

    Hi everyone,
    I installed the Netweaver sp12 ABAP trial version on my system. I have windows XP as OS. The installation was error free and I my system is not connected to any network. I created NSP local and configured as in the html file start.html. But when I try to log in using this NSP local I get an error message that says sapdp00: not reached. I dont know what to do now. maybe some problem in configuring the loop back adapter or somr other network issue. It would be a great help if someone can help me out.
    The actual error message :
    partner '127.0.0.1:sapdp00' not reached
    WSAECONNREFUSED: Connection refused

    Yaiks, that sounds as if Windows is killing the services as soon as they're started. Maybe the SAP software is interfering with some other program(s) on your PC and that could be a very difficult one to find.

  • MATMAS01 IDOC not reaching to SAP XI via report program.

    Dear Experts,
    WE are facing small challenge.
    I searched on SDN on scenarios: IDOC not reaching to SAP XI. But could not find exact solution t oour scenario.
    Problem:
    MATMAS01 IDOC is not reaching to SAP XI via report program and is in status of 03 on SAP system. And there are not entries under SM58.
    Under SAP XI system IDOC entry is not reflecting under IDX5 transaction, I tried to delete meta data of MATMAS01 thru IDX1 and uploaded again but still IDOC is not reaching to SAP XI.
    The strange is that MATMS01 IDOC is reaching to XI via WE19 test tool. So PORT and RFC destination settings betweeen R3 and XI is also correct.
    What could be the wrong ?

    When sending Idoc from R/3,
    Settings at R/3
    create one port at WE21,
    Create Partner Profile for Outbound Message type in WE20.
    settings at XI
    Create one port in IDX1
    Import Matadata in IDX2.
    Create complete scenario in ESR for Idoc sender, also import IDoc in Imported Objects.
    Check these settings & send test idoc using WE19.

    i am using SQL2005 server as my database server. i am trying to connect this server in java (i mean using JDBC). i am using windows authentication to connect my sqlserver.
    i have the url connection like this

    i am trying to connect the server using the above URL, but i couldn't connect it throws an error as the following.
    The TCP/IP connection to the host  127.0.0.1 , port 1433 has failed. Error: "Connection refused: connect. Verify the connection properties, check that an instance of SQL Server is running on the host and accepting TCP/IP connections at the port, and that no firewall is blocking TCP connections to the port.".
    could anyone plz help me to make the connection in right way.
    i have tried to ping via telnet as well, even telnot not able to connect

    Besides Madhu mentioned, please check the TCP/IP port number of the instance of SQL Server.
    1. Open SQL Server Configuration Manager, and then expand SQL Server 2005 Network Configuration.
    2. Click Protocols for InstanceName, and then make sure TCP/IP is enabled in the right panel and double-click TCP/IP.
    3. On the Protocol tab, notice the value of the Listen All item.
    4. Click the IP Addresses tab:
    If the value of Listen All is yes, the TCP/IP port number for this instance of SQL Server 2005 is the value of the TCP Dynamic Ports item under IPAll.
    If the value of Listen All is no, the TCP/IP port number for this instance of SQL Server 2005 is the value of the TCP Dynamic Ports item for a specific IP address.
    5. Make sure the TCP Port is 1433.
    6. Click OK.
