Error 1009 at Drag and Drop

Hello,
iam loading an Flex app into an Flash App. In the Flex App is an Drag an Drop with a List. Its crazy , but when the Flash App loads the Flex app for the fist time the Drag and Drop works fine. But when i unload it and load it for the second time it throws this Error:

I can't figure out what kind of Error this is!? Can someone help me? How can i solve this Problem!?

Ok, so about this problem of yours... it's been brought up in this forum before -- Error 1009 on drag/drop events within lists when those lists are not in the main application domain (whether it's a pop up or some module). See the post here:

A bug was supposed to have been created for this issue. If not, I recommend you submit a new bug and reference yours and the other post's test case. Also worth asking the other poster if they came up with a workaround.
My hunch is that whatever is tripping you up is internal and non trivial (i.e. I have no idea why this is happening and have no obvious workaround for you ). Best o luck,

Hello All,
I have a problem in a large application with dragging and dropping between datagrids. I created a simple example of the issue below. Basically, when I press the button I get a pop-up with 2 datagrids. When Initially try to drag an item from the source grid to the destination grid I get a serious of errors:
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.

If I then try and drag and drop again, it works without error. Can anyone shed light on this? Code below:

I can confirm this error. I'm using Firefox, Windows Vista, Flash Player 10, SDK build 11250. There are two error boxes that appear when you try to drag an item on the first attempt and on successive attempts (but only if you drag over the destgrid, then back to the srcgrid and then back again to the destgrid). It's gotta be a bug, here are the stack traces:

Error occurs when dragging and dropping a Video Transition

Hi there.
This is my first post here, as I have only recently upgraded to Premiere Pro CS5 from a very old version. I am running into a big problem with video transitions. Whenever I try to drag and drop a transition onto my timeline, Premiere crashes and says "Sorry, a serious error has occurred that requires Adobe Premiere to shut down..." Then the screen just hangs there and I need to do a Ctrl+Alt+Del to close the program. Please note that crossfades work with no issues whatsoever, and I have not encountered any other errors. Any ideas?
Here are some of the specs of my system:
CPU: Intel Core i7 950 @ 3.07 GHz
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
RAM: 12 GB
I have 4 drives with the programs and files allocated per the suggestions in this forum.

Here would be my shotgun approach to your issue: Try adding effects on different footage. If no crash, the footage may be corrupt.
Try a new project with the same footage. If no crash, the project may be corrupt.
If above actions still produce a crash, trash prefs. Prefs may be corrupt.
You also may have bad RAM. Run a RAM-test app.
Still crashing? Re-install the application. The app may be damaged.
Sorry I don't have a firm answer, but you may need to seek and destroy, using process of elimination.

Error message when dragging and dropping images to album

I recently installed the Elements 12 upgrade on my MacBook Pro. My previous version was Elements 10. When I try to add new images to my existing albums by selecting, dragging and dropping them into an album the operation does not work and i get an error message "Error Applying Keyword Tag(s)"

When you look at the numerous discussions on the PSE forum on this Organizer window issue it's not just a problem I had (Thread 14444851) but other users who have Elements 10, 11 and 12 are experiencing similar problems. There appears to be a serious compatibility problem with OSX 10.9.2 and these versions of PSE. Although my issue was fixed by your support staff, the fact that many other users are experiencing this issue points to the need for a universal fix applicable to all Mac users. There is a lot of frustration out there among Mac users and Adobe needs to deal with this problem.
I am really surprised that on all the other discussion posts on this issue, there is not a single comment or response from Adobe staff! Given the lack of response from Adobe, it appears that the Adobe policy is to sit back and let the Mac users determine their own solutions.
Please pass this post on to your management so that corrective action can be initiated.

Here is the code that I use for drag and drop between 2 Jlist's. It has always worked for me. You may have to tweek it a little to work for you. For instance I don't have it removing the item from the original lst when it is dragged to the new list. Anyway hope this helps you out.

Error using Richfaces Drag and Drop support in JSF 1.1 application

Iam using rich faces drag n drop support in my JSF application . The jsp works as expected but I get this weird exception while navigating through my pages.

From the error I deduce that the view component is being generated twice , why is this so???

I've tinkered a bit with DnD before in the past. Actually, it's all related to the topic of Data Transfer. You have to provide a source and destination for the transferrable, and your transferrable object must provide the "data flavors" that it supports.
In theory it doesn't sound too hard, and it works reasonably well within a java application, but to be honest your time might be better spent simply implementing cut n' paste, which is easier. Cut n' paste doesn't require all the fancy UI work, but does the job reasonably well.
There's a DnD spec available on the documentation web-site, if you haven't already found it. I also discovered that the O'Reilly book (I think it's the AWT book, not the swing one) has a good chapter on data transfer that you might want to read.

I want to Sync my iPhone 4 to iTunes however I get an error message from iTunes each time I connect the phone to the PC saying that I should restore to factory settings. Frustrating because it's already annoying enough that I can't drag and drop mp3's!!!

I have never been so frustrated before in my life with any phone. I find it obnoxious as it is that I cannot simply drag and drop files (especially MP3's) straight from my PC directly into my phone, which I have been used to doing up until now. Everyone who convinced me to get the iPhone has instructed me that my frustration can be fixed by downloading iTunes and syncing it all up via that program (which I have never used before). So, I downloaded the program successfully, however when I connect the iPhone 4 to the PC and iTunes is open, I get an error message that 'iTunes cannot read the content of the iPhone "iPhone" and that I should go to the Preferences tab of the iPhone and select 'restore' to restore this phone to factory settings. First of all, I don't understand why I need to do that. I have already downloaded apps and other important things in the 2 days that I have the phone. I am also scared that it will erase my contacts. This is such a headache. Music is very imporatant to me, but I am getting so frustrated that I don't have freedom over the phone which I thought was supposed to be one of the best out there. I would really appreciate help in this matter. I am sure the phone is great but I am on the verge of taking it back and getting something else.

If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:

If you do not have a local copy of a song which you have purchased (i.e. it is available via iTunes in the Cloud), you may need to redownload it before you can transfer it to your device. You may find the following article helpful:

Error while drag and drop in OAWD transaction

Possible Bug with Drag-and-Drop Being Published via HTML5 - Getting "Undefined" Error When Dragging Object

Hello,
I came up with a way to use drag-and-drop interactions that will take advantage of file input so that I may create a drag-and-drop interaction that uses one draggable object over and over allowing multiple scoring/tracking possibilities. Example use...is having the draggable object be dynamic in that it randomly changes its text so that a learner can drag a term it's possible classification.........thus allowing the possibility of having many terms easily loaded without having to redo a drag-and-drop interaction for each needed terms/classifications updates/changes.
My Issue: When using a variable to represent the text for a draggable Smart Shape object, I'm getting the error message "undefined" when, clicking/pressing on the object, as well as during the drag of the object. This issue occurs when publishing the project in an HTML5 format. Flash interestingly enough seems to work perfect...but we are not interested in publishing via Flash any longer.
To better help you explore this error message, I've set up a test project so that you can see when and how the "undefined" message shows up during a drag-and-drop interaction. I've also included the Captivate 8 project file used to make the exploration project I'm sharing in this post.

It's pretty interesting how things react in this demo, please try the following actions to see some interesting happenings:
Drag the Yellow (or variable drag box) to the drag target.
Drag Black Hello square to Drag target and click undo or reset - watch the undefined message come up on the Yellow (or variable drag box).

I'd really be very honored if anyone help me figure out how I could (when publishing out to HTML5) no longer have the "undefined" error message show up when using drag-and-drop with a variable for shape text. This technique has been well received at the college I work at...and I have many future project requests for using such an idea on a variety of similar interactions. I'd love see a solution or see if this might be a bug Adobe may be able to fix!
I tried to find a solution to the issue documented here for quite some time, but I was not able to find anyone with this problem much less attempting the idea I'm sharing in the help request - save the darn "undefined" message that comes up!

I just wanted to supply a minor update related to my drag-and-drop question/issue stated above:
I did another test using Captivate 7, and found that the undefined error (publishing as HTML5) does not appear and the variable data remains visible - except the variable data turns very small and does not honor any font size related settings.
I did go ahead and submit this to Adobe as a possible bug today.
Thanks again for any help related to this issue. If the issued documented above is solved, it will allow many amazing things to be done using Captivate's drag-and-drop for both regular type projects as well as interaction development for iBooks!
Matter of fact if this issue gets fixed, I'll publish a Blog entry (or video) on way's I've used Captivate's drag-and-drop to create dynamic learning activities for Higher Ed. and for use in iBooks.

Drag and Drop Error

When I try to drag and drop folders in SharePoint 2013, I get a message 'We can't upload folders or empty files' but I can drag and drop the individual files.

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to drag the folders to SharePoint 2013.
It is by design, we could not drag the folders to the site directly.
As workarounds, you can use the following alternate solutions.
1 Use the conventional Windows Explorer View - To Open Windows Explorer click on Upload
Next in the Add Documents popup click on “Upload Files using windows Explorer Instead” to Open the Windows explorer view where you can
Drag and Drop folders.
2. Map the Document Library as Network Drive – You can Map any document library as a network drive and then
drag and drop folders to it
When you Map a document Library as a Network drive, you might see an error because of the missing “Desktop Experience” feature in Windows Server 2012
3. Using SYNC Option - In SharePoint 2013, you can make any Document Library SYNC to your Local
Folder (Including the SkyDrive PRO Library) to work with documents Offline.
Once the Library is synced users can Open, Edit and Add Files and Folders to the synced Library
Folder that gets created on your Local.
These additions can be synced back to the Library either every time when you connect to
SharePoint or On-Demand with “Sync now”.

Drag and drop to target simple errors, expecting identifier?

im creating a drag and drop. moving a guitarest name to a target e.g draging a movieclip called slash to a dynamic text box called box_slash this is my code and i get 2 stupid errors but have been up all night and cant figure it out!
flash cs5 actionscript 3, is this code for actionscript3 i found the base for it here: http://edutechwiki.unige.ch/en/Flash_drag_and_drop_tutorial any help would be incredible as it for an assignment and im new to flash

Met "logon canceled" error when drag and drop table to XSD

When I drag and drop a table to XML Schema designer, there is a dialog named "Microsoft OLE DB for Oracle" pop up. When I input correct username/password@db, I got an error saying "logon canceled".
Please help.

Are you dragging from Oracle Explorer or Server Explorer?
