Error: Admin users are not allowed to have override security

In shared services, I provisioned the users FDM "Provision Manager" access. When I log on to FDM application, I see all those users have administrator privileges. When I tried to change the security level, it is throwing an error
Error: Admin users are not allowed to have override security
How can I create users who are not as admin in FDM? The user guide dont seem to help me much in this regards.

All you need to do is make sure there role is set to an Intermedate role 1-9 and not Administrator. I would suggest you do the following.
1) Log into FDM as the main admin user.
2) Go to user maintenance and delete all users who are not meant to have adminstarator access but can still access everything like admins.
3) Go into Shared Services and check that these users are provisioned for FDM with one of the Intermediate roles only.
4) Once confirmed re-add these users back in the FDM user maintenance screen by selecting them from the new user dropdown and give them the appropraite location access.
5) Log off FDM as the admin user.
6) Log in as the intermedaite user and tes tthe access

  • In Sales Order Users are not allowed to change price for any material

    Dear all,
    Please give me the solution :
    In Sales Order va02 Users are not allowed to change price for any material .

    Hi Amit
    If you  want that in VA01 manual as well as other pricing condiion entry and cahnges to be allowed and only in va02 users should be restricted ,then  you have following alternative.
    Go to  T.Code SHD0
    Select Transaction VA02.
    Create a new variant ,give suitable name.
    select option change with processing.
    So u can run a va02 transaction and for every screen u can create screen variant and control data entry whether required  , dispaly or hide.
    in this for  LV69a pricing  screen disable update button .
    so system wont change anything updated or cahnged in pricing.
    further you can create the variant transactions  from this transaction variant and assign to different users as per control requirements.
    I think this will help you

  • Reg : "Error multiple Receivers are not allowed for Synchronous calls"

    Hi All,
    Can somebody tell me why I am getting this error "Error multiple Receivers are not allowed for Synchronous calls" when I am using Synchronous Soap Request to WebService and the response from webservice is being sent to multiple receivers which are Business services based on Receiver determination condition(Services W/o Party).

    Hi , If you are simply looking up data (and not updating tables ) using RFC you can use RFC Lookup APIs to create a java mapping
    The source message has to be a RFC request message interface and target should be RFC response message interface.
    Also you can use three step mappings in a single interface mapping.
    1. from your request message to RFC request message mapping
    2. java mapping which will do the lookup and give you rfc response back
    3.rfc response to your target response mapping.
    PS: RFC lookup can be used if there are not may hierarchy in the RFC Response structure. (i.e. may be 3 or 4 level nesting permitted)
    To help you further
    The following is a link which gives you access to a ready made source code. you just need to compile it and create a jar and import the mapping in imported archive

  • Argh! Message bundle file names are not allowed to have dots???

    It took me several hours to find the reason for this exception:
    java.util.MissingResourceException: Can't find bundle for base name properties\com.domain.prj.huj.MainApp.Messages, locale de_DE
         at java.util.ResourceBundle.throwMissingResourceException(ResourceBundle.java:804)
         at java.util.ResourceBundle.getBundleImpl(ResourceBundle.java:773)
         at java.util.ResourceBundle.getBundle(ResourceBundle.java:538)If the message bundle name contains dots (package separators), this exception is thrown! When I remove the dots, it works. But even the javadoc for ResourceBundle.getBundle() says that the baseName parameter is " the base name of the resource bundle, a fully qualified class name ".
    Is it not possible to have the message bundle file names containing dots (i.e. package declarations with class names)?

    Nope. Periods are used to delimit packages in the basename. So given:
    "com.domain.prj.huj.MainApp.Messages",
    ResourceBundle will look for "com/domain/prj/hui/MainApp/Message[_local][.class|.properties]" on the class path (ie, in jars etc).
    I've just had to implement an alternate RB factory to deal with legacy property files which contain periods. If you are starting from scratch, don't put in periods.

    How do I get rid of this? Cannot play multi player games in Game Center

    If your iPhone was provided by your company or another organization or is being managed by them (perhaps as part of connecting to the company's email system), they may have those features disabled. If that's the case, that's an issue you'd have to take up with your company.

  • Batch element raise error for few cases as Multiple entries are not allowed

    Dear
    Element type :' NON-RECURRING'
    Multiple entry :' un-checked'
    We have a commission element as non-recurring. As per company policy we allow this commission on Assignment criteria and it got successfully transfer we run it previous month. But today we are doing the same activity and getting error “Multiple entries are not allowed for this entry” in two cases while batch validation. However when we enter this element manually under the assignment element entry window, it allow user to save without any restriction.
    So, why system not allow it through batch window.
    I am very thank full to you, pls very critical.
    Pls advice.

    User uploaded duplicate assignment for the same element, therefore system was not being allowed to process for that batch. we removed duplicate record and the error was removed.

  • MySQL Connection - Select Database - HTTP Error Code 405 Method Not Allowed?

    We've set up a MySQL database with our host and can connect to that, and create, edit, delete tables using HeidiSQL, without a problem.
    However when we attempt to set up the connection in the Databases tab of our Applications panel in Dreamweaver we receive the following error:
    HTTP Error Code 405 Method Not Allowed
    We have entered the following in the MySQL Connection box:
    Name: <name of our connection>
    Server: <IP address of our database>
    Username: <our database username>
    Password: <our database password>
    Database:
    When we click the "Select" option next to the Database field, that's when we receive the above mentioned error.
    We noticed that there was a fix posted by Adobe at:
    http://www.macromedia.com/support/dreamweaver/ts/documents/err405.htm
    ...but that link is long since dead, however it does seem to indicate that Adobe are/were aware of this issue.
    Can anyone help?  We're trying to move from Classic ASP / MSSQL to PHP / MySQL but have hit a barrier right from the off, which isn't very encouraging.  Hope someone can ease our concerns with PHP and MySQL.
    Much appreciated.

    Thank you SnakEyez02.
    I had the Testing Server set to Local/Network but didn't have MySQL installed locally.  Changed that setting to FTP and it picked up on the database correctly.
    When using MSSQL it doesn't matter whether you choose Local/Network or FTP it just picks up the online database regardless.  I guess this must just be a difference between it and MySQL.
    Thanks for the advice.  Much appreciated.

  • Error - Some objects are not available to your user profile...

    Hello,
    It is for BI 4.1 on Windows. We have a connection called CON1 pointing to DB1. It uses UNIV1 All reports were working fine and we were able to refresh it as well.
    Now the CON1 is changed to point to DB2 and we are now getting following error - "Some objects are not available to your user profile. You cannot refresh this Query. See your Business Objects administrator to request rights".
    If I create a new report using CON1 and the it works fine. Only the old reports are still causing issue on refresh. I tried with Admin account as well and same issue.
    The CON1 is still CON1 and universe UNIV1 is still using CON1. Just the content was edited from DB1 to DB2 in CON1. If we create a new report then no issue.
    Can anybody advice if something needs to compiled. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
    Regards,
    SS

    Your old reports are still pointing to same connection. Remember the DSN has been pointed to use another Database. The records and entries will be different. In addition as the records or object mapping have changed for these reports. Hence this would be a very normal behaviour.
    Create a new connection named CON2 or something like that to point DB1 as per your requirement. This way your original reports would work.

  • Security error - User is not allowed to execute Proces - Resolved

    Enabled security on my domain by editing message-handlers.xml :
    <inbound-flow>
    <!-- <message-handler id="default" />-->
    <message-handler id="security" />
    </inbound-flow>
    commented out <property id="SecuredProcesses" > .. </property> to apply security to all processes.
    Now when I initiate process through BPELConsole I tick the WS-Security and use bpeladmin/welcome1 as credentials (I'm logged into console as this), I get the following error. In fact I get the very same error if I make up a username/password.
    <2007-10-24 08:17:41,343> <ERROR> <archi2.collaxa.cube> <BaseCubeSessionBean::lo

    In bpel.xml of the process itself I have this:

    <BPELProcess id="SQTest2" src="SQTest2.bpel">

    <property name="pw" encryption="plaintext">welcome1</property>
    </preferences>
    </BPELProcess>
    </BPELSuitcase>
    If I don't supply username/password then I get "Could not apply security [No username provided, security expects user]" which sounds right enough.
    I'm using the default authentication scheme system-jazn-data.xml and using 10.1.3.3 patchset on linux.

    My own fault, putting user credentials in wrong place in bpel.xml:
    <?xml version = '1.0' encoding = 'UTF-8'?>

    checked the config tool secure store and found no entry maintained for /admin/user/SID.
    How to add the new entry in config tool and what is post entry procedure
    Thanks a ton

    Hello Daniel,
    You can maintain the Administrator user in secure storage using the config tool.
    By default, the value for this config tool property is user Administrator. However, when using the ABAP Engine for persistency, this user is J2EE_ADMIN.
    Following are the steps:
           1.      Start the Config Tool.
           2.      Select secure store.
                    The configuration for the secure storage in the file system appears.
           3.      Select the key admin/user/<SID>.
           4.      Enter J2EE_ADMIN in the Value: field and choose Add.
           5.      Select the key admin/password/<SID>.
           6.      Enter the password for J2EE_ADMIN in the Value: field and choose Add.
           7.      Save the configuration.

  • You are not allowed to continue because your account does not have the proper privileges

    I've been using PS since version 3. I currently run CS2 on Windows XP service pack 2. I've been using CS2 since it was first released. Now, all of a sudden, anytime I install or uninstall a program, whether it is related to Photoshop or not, when I start CS2 I get a window that says "You are not allowed to continue because your account does not have the proper privileges" and the program aborts. The first time this happened and after I had restarted CS2 for the 4th time it started normally. Since then it requires at least one restart (not reboot)after the error and then CS2 starts normally. Anyone have any idea of what is going on here? The first time it happened was right after I had installed a new HP AIO printer and I thought that may have had something to do with it. However, I have installed a couple of other programs and uninstalled another, none of them related in any way to CS2, and I get the error the next time I run CS2. I have found some posts about this but no answers, and most of the posts were related to Vista, not XP. I need help please.

    there's a section in adobe.com (not adobeforums.com!) where after you log in (seperate log in from this site) you can go to "my account" and then "my registrations". you can manually add registrations there. that's how i've registered most of my adobe purchases.
    ok. just ran through it:
    go to http://www.adobe.com/ (make sure you have flash turned on)
    click "Your Account" in the upper left corner.
    log in with your adobe.com id, create one if you don't have one. this is SEPERATE from the id you log into this forum with!
    click on "View Product Registrations"
    click on "View Adobe branded products registrations"
    if you have any registed packages, they'll be listed. at the bottom of the page click on the button that looks like this:
