Error after creating submit button - WebDynpro Exception

Hi,
I have created a form from ABAP Webdynpro and in the adobe designer I have created a submit(both native and activex) button.
If the form is in display mode I am able to see the button , but if it is enabled I get the following dump.

i solved the problem by runing 2 scripts as a portal user

Can we remain in the same state even after clicking submit button?

Hello All,
Can we remain in the same stage even after clicking submit button? Also it should remain in the same stage only when certain conditions are met. For eg:
Condition : In Stage1, CustomFieldA default value is 'No'. To pass from Stage1 to Stage2 the CustomFieldA value should be made to yes.
Scenario 1 : CustomFieldA value is 'No', and I click on Submit .
Expected Result : should remain in the same stage
Is above result achievable in PS 2013? I am creating workflow in Visual Studio 2012, so can I handle this in the workflow?

Created "submit" button not working with Reader

I have created a submit button that will submit an email based off dropdown menu selection. While it works great on my computer (Pro). A user with Reader (9.0) can fill out everything until the (java created) submit button. The user computer hangs... Any ideas of what the issue could be?

Check Name Error after hitting Submit Form button

The screenshot above is of the error I am receiving once clicked on the Submit button. All our users are currently running XP 32bit, Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.3.4 (which was used to create the form), Adobe Reader 9.3.4 and Outlook 2010 Exchange. I've already tired opening the PDF in both Reader or Acrobat pro and both still come up with the same error. Here's the kicker, when this PDF was distributed to a PC with ONLY Adobe Reader, then the user was able to submit the form properly. Only for the users who have both Acrobat Pro and Reader are getting the error above. Any ideas what might be causing it? We currently are not in a position to upgrade to Reader X because of some webpages used can only support 9.3 or less.

Left Nav lost after clicking submit button in iView

Hi Community,
I created an APC called CreateOrder which implements AbstractPortalComponent. This component acts as controller. In doContent() method, It checks if the create order submit button is clicked or not, if no, it returns createOrder.jsp page, if yes, it returns createOrderResult.jsp page. Everything works fine except left navigation disapear after I click submit button createOrder.jsp and createOrderResult.jsp shows up.
by the way I can create a createOrderIview using the APC component, able to see createOrder.jsp page and have result page shows up.
Anyone know what problem here? any help/sugguestion are very appriciated.

Have a window pop up after email submit button is clicked

Is there a way to have a pop up occur after a user has pressed the email submit button? I need to have a reminder pop up as the form is submitted. Thank you in advance!

Here's what I did:
I created a regular button with the following script on the "click event"
EmailSubmitButton.execEvent("click");
Then created another button (EmailSubmitButton)with the Control Type set to Submit; Submit to url should be: mailto:[email protected]; and Submit as PDF (if you want the actual form to come back to you) or XML (if you just want the data).
Then I added a script under the EmailSubmitButton's PreSave Event, which states:
app.alert("Your Form Has Been Submitted.");
I distribute my form using the Adobe 8 Wizard and it works great.
I would like to add a script that closes the form after submission. The script I found is
app.execMenuItem("Close");
This script is placed on the next line following the above app.alert message under the EmailSubmitButton. It works fine if you send the form manually via email, but Adobe has an error message when I try to distribute it.
If anyone can help me with this issue. I would really appreciate it.

How to disable programmatically created Submit Button in ProcessFormRequest

I'm working on an issue where i have created an Upload button Programmatically. The upload button should get disabled after it is clicked. The code for the upload button creation is as below. This has been added in the processRequest of CO.

Thank you for the response. I have created the button programmatically. So I'm not sure how to add the newly created button to the webBean as child. I'm new to OAF. So could you please elaborate. A code snippet might help.

Errors after creating a project in the DC

Hi,
I have created a DC for my track trk_cc with the vendor sap.com. After creating the application and component for the project i am getting many errors in each and every line of the code.

For the above code getting the following error.
com.sap cannot be resolved for the view view.controleerAPI.
Like this throwing the error in the View,doInit,ModifyView methods.
Could someone help me out to check whats the problem?

Try this...
right click the project>properties->java build path->identify the jar files entres location in ur sys and take a copy seperately
in the navigator view of ur project---delete the folder gen_wdp
right click the project>properties->java build path->delete all the jar files entries
now again add (add external jars) same that u have deleted from the copy u have created.

CUP 5.3 (SP5): Error after creating mitigations and approving

After creating a request, and mitigating the risks in the request, I receive the error:
Mitigation control <MC ID> could not be saved for user <USER ID> - Exception from the service : Mitigation record doesn't exist
However, the roles get autoprovisioned without the mitigating control being updated.

I was getting an error in RAR that it couldn't send out the notification e-mail. The Java Mail Client had not been configured. Once I had done this, and restarted the server0, it worked.

Error after creating a struts portlet in weblogic 8.1 SP 5

I am using weblogic 8.1 SP 5, to develop an struts-portlet.
I tested my struts application and it is working fine.
I have one action i.e firstAction and 2 jsp's in my struts application.
The action just forwards to the one jsp through struts-config.
However, when i try to start the server after creating the struts-portlet i get the following error:

I am trying to implement selectOneListbox component. This displays all the data which I required. I am also able to retrieve indiviual data. I checked this using alert in java script.
The problem which I am facing is that I have a command button on the page. Once I click the submit button. I am getting an error.
org.apache.jasper.JasperException: javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: Duplicate component ID 'form1:_id0' found in view.
I am unable to proceed. Please let me know any solution for the problem.

I have fixed this issue. This was problem with RSA. The id was not getting generated. So explicitly I added the id and it worked.

Manually created submit buttons & mandatory fields

I included a Submit & an Email button in some of my forms. I've set them up as Regular buttons and coded them myself to do what I want eg:

If I set them up as Submit buttons, they don't try to run the script more than once. I assumed this was because I had the code built in with the Submit option and it ran that as well as my own code.
So I changed the button to be a Regular button and then it worked perfectly - except for one thing.
It no longer validated the mandatory fields.
Can anyone tell me what's built into the Submit button (that I can't see), that I need to reproduce in my script for my regular button?

Hi,
The Submit buttons validate the from behind the scenes.
You can use execValidate() in an if statement, and if passes then execute script.

Both of the above examples use validationState and cancelAction so are targeted to Acrobat/Reader version 9.1. Please note that execValidate() can be used in earlier versions:
