Error AS2.0

Question

When I check the code for errors, it comes up with a notification saying,
"Scene=Scene1,layer=score,frame=1,line 1 identifier expected"
i am trying to use the variable score to keep score for the player:
var score = 10, 000;
what is the cause of this error? I used the same code on a different project and it worked just fine.

you have an extraneous comma.  use:
var score = 10000;
