Error Attachment when sending email in Hotmail

I have Safari 5.0.3 and using Hotmail. Unable to insert attachment and error "This file couldn't be added because it appears to be empty (0 bytes)" appears. Attachment is in Word.doc format. Have saved as "PDF" and still same problem appears. Can someone please help.

5.0.3 is an oudated version of Safari.
Try updating your software. Install Safari 5.0.6 for Leopard
Then restart your Mac, launch Safari.
Go to Safari > Preferences then select the Security tab. Click Show Cookies
Type Microsoft in the search field top right corner of that window then click Remove All > Done
Now type Hotmail in and do the same thing.
Now go to the Safari menu bar click Safari > Empty Cache
Back to the menu again, click Safari > Reset Safari
Select the top 7 boxes, click Reset.
Try an attachment sending email in your Hotmail account.

Try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is app and data safe!

You have to add another SMTP server as following steps:
Just go to hotmail acount setting
Then click on SMTP in outgoing mail server
Then click add server
Host name: smtp-mail.outlook.com
User name: your email
Password: your password
So now you can send mail

Extra Attachment when sending email from iPhone

Everytime I send an email from my iphone to someone in my office, and they view it on their PC (Outlook) or on their non iOS phone, there is an additional attachment. Is there a way that this attachment can be removed prior to sending, possibly in the settings of the iPhone?

it seems its a virus, because its abnormal to see attachment on your email without you didnt attach a pic,
try to update your IOS, otherwise you can rest all factory settings at your settings---general---reset---reset all settings, if it doesn't work backup your iphone on itunes on pc then do Erase All content and Settings.

Yes I have tried sending an email without the attachment but I still get an error #7 which is fNotFound. Also server is ok here is the response I get;

I am trying to "reply to all" on an email I got with 103 people on the list. I get an error message that says, "the server did not recognize the following recipients" and lists about 25 recipients. It also says the message will remain in my Outbox until it can be delivered.

Attachment failure when sending email

three days ago I detected the problem with Convergence,attachment failure(any type of files) when sending email,the attachment suddenly disappears (confirmed by checking the convergence webmail Sent folder and the recipient only receiving the body text message without the attachment(s)) .However , sending with attachment through mail client software such as Thunderbird is OK . before this problem happened , the system can send email with attachment without any problem . Please help on how can I fix this ?

small attachment size 100KB to 400KB - PDF ,MSWORD (DOCX AND DOC), -all the types that work prior to this problem happened .Do the users see the size of the attachment displayed next to the attachment name after uploading it?
