Error "CALL_FUNTION_NOT_FOUND" in CRM2007

Hi All,
     Customer is using crm2007 system. When he try to execute a prog "ztest" he is getting dump with CALL_FUNTION_NOT_FOUN & Exception is CX_SY_CALL_ILLEGAL_FUNC.
    1. FM: POPUP_TO_DISPLAY_TEXT is existing in crm2007 system or not?
    2. If yes, what might be other resons for this dump.
I searched for sap notes, still need more clarification.

What happened?
The function module "POPUP_TO_DISPLAY_TEXT " was called, but cannot be
found in the Function Library.
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "ztest" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
Error analysis
  An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below. The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_DYN_CALL_ILLEGAL_FUNC', was neither
caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure
"FORM name" "(FORM)"
Since the caller of the procedure could not have expected this exception
to occur, the running program was terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
The program "ztest" contains a CALL FUNCTION statement. The name
of the function module to be called is "POPUP_TO_DISPLAY_TEXT ".
No function module exists with the name "POPUP_TO_DISPLAY_TEXT ".
All function modules are stored in the Function Library (SE37).
Possible reasons:
a) Wrong name specified. Particular attention should be paid
to upper/lower case and underscores ("_")
b) Transport error
c) If an enqueue/dequeue module has been used, the lock object
may not have been activated (ABAP Dictionary)
Please suggest me how to rectify this...

It is not necessary for an ECC function module to be found in CRM2007. Moreover, CRM2007 has WebGUI so there is no need for calling this function module.

    Did you publish the Internet Services?  You can do so by going to SE80 and publishing Webgui, System, and IAC to the Integrated ITS.  Or you can use the report W3_PUBLISH_SERVICES or transaction SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INT.

  • Error messages in CRM2007 web ui from check function module

    Hi Experts,
    I want to display a warning/error in CRM webUI from my check function module. Moreover, in CRM GUI if i write a message like
    MESSAGE ID 'ZCRM' TYPE 'W' NUMBER '000'
                    WITH 'Warning Message'.
    it exits the transaction.
    Can anyone please suggest how do I go about this.

    I dont know the specific reason but internally there may some inconsistancy but i faced the same error and i tried with saving it in the package.

    Hi All - I am upgrading from CRM2007 to 7.0 and I am facing a issue in XPRA_UPG phase where there are unprocessed BDocs. I used transaction smw03 to display them, but I am not sure how to process them or delete them.

  • Error when replicating customers changes in erp to crm2007

    Hi,
    I did the initial load from erp do crm and everything went fine.
    When I make any change to BP in crm the changes occurs well in erp, but the problem appears when I try to change our creat a new customer in erp.
    A short dump occurs and don´t let me creat or change a customer in erp.

  • BSP Error when copying text from email to Note section of a transaction

    Hi All,
    We are using CRM2007 for both the Interaction Centre and Sales Web Client.
    When a user is creating a transaction in both roles, if one copies a piece of text from an email into the note section of a transaction at times the web client crashes and gives a BSP error.
    It seems that cetain symbols are not recognised and cannot be converted when they are copied into the note section. The symbols I have noticed this to occur on are the dash symbol and the apostrophe (') symbol.
    The symbols are fine when they are typed in directly, the issue only occurs if they are copied in.
    The web client cannot handle this exception and falls over as a result.
    However, if the text is copeid into the note section of a transaction in CRM online, any symbols it cannot convert correctly automatically convert to a hash (#) symbol.
    Has anyone come across this issue before? Or have an idea as to how it could be resolved?
    Even if it was possible for the webclient to convert any unknown symbols automatically into a hash (#) symbol like CRM Online so the web client would not fall over on save of a transaction.
    Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for the reply I guess we could not get the fiddler trace as we are getting this error while i am copying the data to excel file which is present on drive from SharePoint this is not on a browser. Correct me if I am wrong

        in the CRM2007 IDES, I used the tcode "eewb" to create a project with a z package, and created a extension, the business object  is  "BUPA" and the extension type is "ADD_NEW_FIELDS" , but the wizard can not start and the error message is "Extension type ... cannot be combined with package ...".
       I modified the transport layer of the project z package to "ZDRZ" , and the wizard can start. But when generated the extension, got an error message : in the table "BUT000" have no the field "zz.....", the field is add_new_field. Why?

    I'm researching a problem in our PROD environment.  A CSR is complaining about their telephony buttons changing from "ready" to "not ready" while in ICweb.

    Hey Heber,
    Your post was very helpful.  No, this wasn't happening to everyone...just this one CSR.  And he's sort of a constant complainer.  I've had to explain/train him many times on using ICweb and telephony buttons.
    At any rate, I think we found the problem.  He was missing some back-end roles.  Sometimes, when he executed transaction launcher from ICweb, to back-end, his screen inside ICweb would go blank.  I think that was his real problem all along.  Most of the time, he complains about his telephony buttons because he'll open multiple ICweb sessions and enable telephony on the new session and then complain when his buttons mysteriously "gray-out" on old session.  Which happens by design since only one session can have that.
    I don't think we're doing freeseating.  I know the genesys gplus config on that end depends on knowing the username, PC hostname, and a position/ACD group.  But I'm not sure how to check/debug those methods since it's not really my area...
    I'm really just the basis guy, trying to help since we really no longer have any consultants actively working on the CTI stuff.  We went live with ISU/CCS about 7 months ago...our genesys support company isn't that great, so usually I end up digging through their logs to help figure it out.  Between genesys logs and ICI_Trace...and OSS support and you guys, I can usually figure it out.

  • Deleting CRM2007 customer enhancement

    we made a lot of testing of the creation and deleting of view enhancements and its sets  (BSP_WD_CMPWB) of the CRM2007 component IUICOBJD. Now, after deleting all enhancement sets we have the problem that,  when (after creating and assigning an new enhancement set) we only "ENHANCE" the view of  the above descriped component, without any changes (no new customer fields etc.), the browser shows a white screen with the following error:

    We don't receive this error when showing other "enhanced" components, for example IUICPRP.
    It seems to me that the object IUICOBJD is corrupt because of to many enhancement creation/deletion or that there is still something that must be deleted to "clean up" the component completely. I allready tryed note 1122248 without success.
    Does anybody have any idea how to fix this problem or how to "clean up" completely the component?

    Hi Oliver,
    Whenever you get en exception from the CL_BSP_WD_STREAM_LOADER class this indicates a problem with a runtime repository. Either there is an error in one or it contains dynamic parts and the corresponding ICF service is inactive.
    In your I suspect two possible reasons:
    1) You enhanced component A with a window/ interface view and used (declared usage) of this enhancement in a component B. Now you deleted the enhancement of A including the new interface view. But this is still used/ referenced by component B. Now when you load B (latest access the usage that points into nirvana), system crashes as usage target does not exist anymore.
    2) You enhanced component A, and re-enhanced it. By any weired reason (copy and paste error, system bug, or similar) the runtime repository of your enhancement still reflects pieces of the previous enhancement. To fix this, copy the original SAP runtime repository and add what you've added (if at all).
    I would assume 1) to be the cause in your case but I'm not 100% sure from your posting.

    I had this same problem when installing CRM 2007.
    To solve it, I had to edit the file
    C:\Program Files\sapinst_instdir\CRM2007\SYSTEM\MSS\CENTRAL\AS\control.xml
    Use the search function from notepad to find the string "autoinstall".
    Modify this paragraph

    Dear Experts,
    We are creating an order in CRM2007 but unable to upload into ECC6.0.
    When we create an order in crm BDOC  has been generated with green when we click on the error message we are able to see  errors with following
    "Sold-to party 700001 not maintained for sales area 7777"
    "Sales document 0005000005 was not changed"
    But in the  ECC  we already maintained  sales area for the sold to party  7000001.

    HI Srinivas,
    I am sure you are doing some mistake somewhere. One way to check that is; try to make the exactly same order in ECC with exact same data.
    Even in this message; in first place you have mentioned sold to part 700001 whereas in the second place you mentioned 7000001. That is a typical problem everyone do (mistyping the number of zeros). make sure thats not your issue.

    When i am trying to  Generate all Required Objects in CRM by using T.code SMOGTOTAL
    when i checked Status of Generation Job by using the Tcode GENSTATUS we are getting an error saying

    Reason:
    Based on the generation it will be decided to add the field
    GROUPNO to the generated database table. If the table has been generated once, the generation will step over it each time afterwards.
    That means, after doing changes regarding that, the generation will not
    create the table again.
    => In the first generation run the error has occurred (I don't know why).
    So in all other generation runs afterwards it has not been corrected.
    Then you have to removed the generated table and run the generator
    DATA_COLLECTOR_TABLE of the generator group "Data Collection Service".
    Afterwards, the table will be created with the field GROUPNO
    Hope this will solve your prob.

    If the webui is logged-in with my own login user id, I am able to view the quotation details.That is, the above reported error
    does not occur with my user id.
    Note  : This issue is reported in 2 specific Quotation Ids only. For other Quotations, We are able to view the overview page irrespective of the login user ids.
    Can anyone please help me in this issue?

    Unfortunately, once the view configs are changed, the changes can not be reverted.
    When a personalization is done, actually it is a config change but to to the specific user for specific component/view.
    I guess you are on CRM2007 where this issue is more commonly seen.
    When you delete the personalization, you can give USE, the component, view etc details too in that program so that it does not delete all changes to the user.
    Once the personalization is deleted and error is gone, User can certainly redo the personalization , but manually only.
    I am unable to recall at this moment if there is any utility class of function module handling personalization.
    If i get any more details, i will post it.
    We faced the same issue around 2 years back and we deleted the personalization because the fields in the personalization where no more there in the new config changes and it resolved the issue so i suggested it. That time , i had put the break-point in view-config-determine method and debugged it deeper till the point dump was raising and had found that it was getting for the personalization maintained views .

  • ICweb - RFC error with CRM_FICA_CUST_READ

    Experts,
    We just refreshed our DEV systems:
    CRM2007 sp6
    ECC60 ehp3 sp5
    I'm trying to connect the middle-ware and run ICweb as I usually do.  I've double/triple checked all my RFCs, post copy steps, BDLS, etc on both ends.
    But the FM CRM_FICA_CUST_READ, when executed on the CRM system does not return the proper back-end (ECC) log sys name and RFC dest.
    I double-check tcode  sale --> communications --> determine RFC destinations for method calls (BD97).
    it is correct and has the right RFC which is completely trusted by back-end.  And it works.
    But still, when I execute FM CRM_FICA_CUST_READ I get:
    System settings missing for RFC access to FI-CA system
    The error returned is ICRM_IC_APPL_UI_FICA 208System settings missing for RFC access to FI-CA system
    I guess we'll start over with the system copy/refresh but if you have any hints about other steps to deal with this, please post.

    This is what led me to test that FM.

    Hey Denis,
    Basically, all the subscriptions were listed: Business agreements, bus partner relationships, business partners (bupamain), and business transactions.  But they were not assigned to the "site"..aka our ECC system.  And when I clicked on each subscription, it gave me an error.
    So clearly something got messed up when I did my client copy or maybe some transport.  At any rate, we just deleted them and re-added.  then we were good.
